My room was clean. Some older furniture for a couple pieces, but surfaces appeared clean. Mattress was nice. It was soft so not great for belly sleepers but belly sleeping is bad for your back anyways. Didn't try the rest of the facility.

Pros: Hotel and room was clean and nice. Location was convenient to the areas we wanted to go to. Staff was very helpful. Cons: Hotel appeared to be greatly understaffed. Saw the front desk clerk vacuuming the hallway in the morning. Free breakfast at 8:30 was short on just about everything. Again the one person staffing it did her best to keep up. Air in the room kicked on and off every few minutes all night long and was very noisy. Lukewarm shower at 9:30am Had to ask for towels for the pool in t. F he evening and again the next morning. In the evening, once we started up the hot tub, the chlorine was so strong it burned our eyes. Not a very good experience but the room was reasonably priced so didn't complain.

We are IHG members (free) and travel using Holiday Inn / Express often. We checked in really late and was welcomed quicky with a snack and our room key ready! Room was clean and bed was comfortable! Breakfast was packed and appeared there was only 1 employee to manage the area, she stayed on top of it, Kudos to her! Did I mention that there pillows are so amazing it was hard to not let one of those fall into my bag to come home with us! Thanks again HIE for ANOTHER great stay, we'll be back!

Nice quiet rooms with extremely comfortable beds I definitely appreciate the in room fridge and microwave have the great TV channel selections. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and quick to fix any problems that night occur. Breakfast in the morning is great difference every day. Columbus Hector coffee and he is available 24 hours a day as well as flavored water and cookies during the afternoon. Pool area is very well maintained and clean. We will stay here again next time we are in Omaha.

It was a Holiday Inn Express… so… nothing to complain about. Nothing lavish to be excited about either. Breakfast was great. Fitness center was cramped. Loved the pile of board games in the common area. Would stay here again.

Nice place I door pool. Easy access to interstate. You have to go around the block to get to main entrance coming from west Omaha Interstate.

Trying to figure out how you rent a room that includes a King Bed and a separate pull out couch, but yet they cannot provide blankets for the pull out couch? How does that work? I guess in Omaha the sheet will keep you warm. The desk clerk this morning was excellent and friendly, however this afternoon they have the personality of a dead bush. Unhelpful, unfriendly… No working air… and they seem to have a problem with sending someone to fix it. The hotel is hot!

Decent room but somewhat noisy inside. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

Great People working here… On the Ball Very Nice, Clean Rooms and Address any Problems right away… Cont. Breakfast good and the Lady is very sweet and Helpful… Kept the the Breakfast open for us for a while longer when we arrived. Late Love to stay here again… Awesome Hotel and Staff. :)

Very clean, nice rooms, friendly staff, breakfast was fantastic and after having surgery, they were very helpful and kind in making sure my daughter was comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I booked this hotel for a getaway. The staff were very friendly and nice, including housekeeping. Hot breakfast was served and the breakfast hours were decent, not too early. The elevators were old and a little shaky. My room was $141/night for a jacuzzi suite, it looked terrible. You could tell it was extremely outdated and there were cracks between the wall and the jacuzzi. The half bathroom smelled like sewage, so we didn’t use it. Our suite was very spacious, but I feel like I was overcharged. The remote in the living area didn’t work, so I had to use the remote from the bedroom. The jacuzzi near the pool had no water in it was was not working. After the first night, our keys didn’t work. The door to the room squeaked every time we came in and out. The furniture in the hotel room was VERY old and uncomfortable, looked like furniture from the late 70s, maybe the 80s. Although we made the hotel room work, I am pretty dissatisfied.

The location is perfect and on a major street. The hotel and rooms are clean and well-maintained. Staff is wonderful and responds to any request.

First time here! Friendly staff checked us in. Keys didn't work so had to get rekey. Found someone's carry-out chips in the fridge. Beds were comfortable as they should be. Great TV with plenty of channels. Best thing about the stay was definitely the breakfast! Could be better for the price.

Not the worst but not the best. Wi-Fi was subpar and they have no Ethernet Jack's (at least there wasn't one in my room). Didn't seem to be the cleanest place but it's also kinda old. Beds were comfortable (bed in my room was not firm if that's what your looking for). TV remote had some issues where only power and volume buttons worked. Sink constantly ran in my rooms bathroom as it couldnt be completely shut off. Breakfast is good. Still not the worst I have stayed at and could've done worse. Could've done better though even with another HIE.

We stayed here on our wedding night. After quite a bit of confusion, we were given one night free in their nicest suite. They had a welcome basket with some wine, champagne flutes, and a few other goodies. It was very nice. However, we were promised a shuttle and after much back and forth, were told that the shuttle was good to go. Then, come our wedding day, we had our guests saying they waited so long for the shuttle that they eventually had to call an Uber or they would miss our wedding. I'm furious.

The staff were very friendly & welcoming. They let us check in early so we could watch the kick-off of the Nebraska game at 2:30. But our stay was full of annoying little details. — The channel guide didn't list the channel that the game was supposed to be on & the front desk was no help. We had to go up the channels one by one until we found it… on channel 80! — Only one of our room keys worked so we had to go back to the front desk to get another one. — The air conditioner made a horrible sound every time it turned on. We told the front desk when we went out for snacks at half time & she said she would switch our rooms. — She had our keys ready for us when we got back… again only one key worked so back to the front desk. — This room didn't have a TV remote & trying to change channels manually only took it to channel 70. By the time she brought a new remote & got it off analogue, we'd missed one of the touchdowns. All little annoyances which the staff fixed quickly, but not what I expected for what I paid.

Clean rooms. Nice staff. Tasty breakfast. Finding parking was difficult one of the nights when we came back from a wedding. So maybe it could use a larger lot. But overall a pleasant experience.

Room is clean and generally comfortable. Hotel in a good location with decent amenities. Now for the bad: Terrible Customer Service, no fan in bathroom, AC broken (and refused to fix), in room coffee maker dirty and moldy. Little or no response from staff to questions or complaints. The maintenance guy was rude and condescending.

All room aminities were great. All was well with the world until 1:50 am when the fire alarm went off. Front desk didn't let anyone know what was going on. Firetruck came and finally we found out after lugging our stuff halfway to lobby from 5th floor, that it was false alarm. There were special needs children on upper floors. They would not have been able to get out if it were a real emergency. It went off at least 2 more times. So next to no sleep. Found our from another guest that she'd stayed here previously and same thing happened. Folks that said they talked to front desk said the people didn't know proper actions to take in fire alarm situation. That is unacceptable. Front desk did not pick up when we tried to call about AC issues. Ice machine was completely empty. Almost everything could have been overlooked. Not knowing what to do in fire alarm situation. Not ok. No compensation offered at all.

The room was fine, with the exception of no active fan in the bathroom to clear fog (guessing there is a quieter passive system in place because humidity wasn't a problem in the room). Breakfast was pretty good. With a pancake machine in place of the usual waffle iron. Swimming pool was tiny, but that's all I can comment on since I never got in. However, my main complaint is with the pet policy. Upon arrival, you are handed a pet agreement that starts with (paraphrased) "PETS SHOULD NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED" in all caps. Other bullets on this list include that your room will not be cleaned if the pets are at all present (yes, even kenneled), and if your dog is making a racket they will call you, if you don't answer, then call the humane society and charge you $500. I nearly changed my mind on staying. As a person who travels with pets, you choose pet friendly hotels because they're a safe, secure place to leave your pet when you go out to dinner or handle other business while on a trip (and obviously so they can sleep with you). And while I agree that no one wants a dog down the hall barking nonstop, the overall tone of this agreement is "we don't actually want pets here. But it's the thing to do these days". So I paid my $75 pet fee to not have my room cleaned. And had anxiety the rest of my stay that someone on my floor might report if one of my dogs even whined. Also, probably because it was a holiday weekend, everyone working there seemed miserable.

We loved staying here! They are so helpful, our room was awesome, and they have a Children's Hospital discount if you have an appointment that day or the next! Little man loved swimming and the awesome girl who checked us in helped open his goggle package that required scissors. We'll definitely be back!

I stayed here on a business trip. The hotel s conveniently located within a short drive of downtown (but not in downtown), and a lit of restaurants are located nearby. Reception greeting and assisted me right away, and the room was clean and nice and cool upon arrival. The hotel rooms here were recently renovated and the hotel was very nice. The bed was especially comfortable! Complimentary breakfast was decent and well stocked in the morning. Checkout was a breeze. Limited parking is available on site but a portion of the lot was closed off. Overall, good stay.

I am very impressed with this hotel! There are a lot of little extra touches that I have not experienced at other hotels lately. During the week there is a welcome reception with free drinks and snacks, and around 8pm they serve milk and warm cookies, which is both delicious and adorable. They have ice water in the lobby infused with fruit which is refreshing. Breakfast is included and was very substantial: eggs (hard boiled or cheese omelet), sausage, fruit, cereal, yogurt, toast etc. My room was clean and included a fridge and microwave, which I appreciated for my diner leftovers. So whats the reason for only 4 stars? Two things, one small one big — the shower head seemed to spray water everywhere except directly on to me, including through the not waterproof curtain on to the floor. Next the location is a bit annoying. You CANNOT turn left out of the hotel so it is pretty difficult to head in to downtown Omaha without looping around a bunch of back streets or driving way out of your way. Just be aware that you'll need to do some fancy maneuvering to get where you want to go.

When reserving a room it was very simple! Staff were extremely professional and respectful. We reserved early and received a discount due to paying early as well. When arriving from a different state, the staff was warn and welcoming. We got to our King Suite and it was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and there was a choice between firm or soft pillows. There was a couch in the room as well and television. All nice. The one thing that is stopping from receiving a final star is the shower faucet was not that great. We had to twist the top until there was an okay setting to take a shower with. The others sprayed water all over. All in all I would reserved a room with Holiday Inn again!

Good place to stay staff is very helpful and courteous. Had a small mistake when phoned in a reserve but was made right as soon as we arrived. Would suggest this hotel to anyone. The wife and I always stay here because it is a great location and they have always treated us like family.

This is my go to hotel in Omaha. It is always clean and among the cheapest hotels in the area. It has a good variety of types of rooms for whether I am traveling alone or with my family. The service is always great. It is a little tricky to get to during rush hour but if you familiarize yourself with alternate routes it isn't too much of a hassle.

My stay was brief, but my room was clean and cozy. I'd recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Great front desk service! The hotel looks decent. My only complaint is that the hotel isn't very accessible, but that's the city's fault.

It's really noisy, both from outside and from the hall. The door doesn't block sound and the cleaning crew woke our kid up yelling down the hall. It's across from a hospital, so there are a lot of sirens in the night.

Rooms are updated and nicely furnished. Excellent service frim the front desk staff!

We were in town for a youth hockey tournament and had the pleasure of staying here. When we checked in we realized that breakfast didn't start until 7am but we needed to eat at 6am. The manager was super accommodating and made sure all cold breakfast items were out for us which was great. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the hot breakfast food was out the next day and we weren't expecting that. Some guests were very loud last night and when I complained about it Tyler, the night manager, took care of it immediately. Tyler was super nice the whole weekend. Will return again!

Will never stay at a holiday express again was lied to cheated out of money rooms looked cheap and terrible service and card was charged even after checking out in cash making false accusations about smoking in the room worst hotel experience ever!

Rooms were spacious and modern. Breakfast was above what I would expect from a hotel. Beds were comfortable and overall appearance of hotel was clean. Would definitely stay again.

Was a nice place to stay, the fridge has the last guy food still in it through.

Hotel is under construction. 4 to 5 cars were broken into overnight and property stollen. Hotel doesn't have security cameras for all of parking lot. Entry way off Dodge street has many chuck holes. My recommendation is to stay away from this place and go somewhere else!

The first night my family stayed here, the fire alarms went off around 7 pm or three hours. My family and I rushed down to the lobby and there were tons of people inside just sitting there, we thought this was weird. We went outside anyways just in case where there were also a ton of people standing. After an hour the alarms shut off. We thought this was odd since the fire department had not showed up yet, then they came back on. So we kept waiting another hour, the whole time the alarms going on and off. The staff did not notify us they were false. They were the whole time and the staff knew it and told nobody. They have been having problems before with the alarm and sprinkler system. Then that same day our fridge broke and they did not have another to replace it. They offered to move us rooms and then told us there were none because they were already booked. My family ordered more towels the next night because the maid did not give us more. They said they would bring it right up, they did not. An hour later I went down to ask them where my towels were. They were sitting on the counter and the lady was on her phone behind the desk and said she forgot; an hour later! The next night we were planning on going swminning. We booked this hotel because they had a pool. The pool was closed due to construction for a week. They failed to tell us that when we booked our room and asked about the pool.

Staff was very pleasant, and they make sure you are taking care of.

Don't accidently leave anything in your room, if you do I would bet your not getting it back. Management will do nothing to help you either.

The hotel was our conference headquarters in June 2013. Worked out great. Served breakfast early to meet our needs and staff was very pleasant.

I have stayed here over 20 times in the last 6 months, the service was pretty good, the staff was friendly, but today I found out they have changed some of the staff that do the check in. They are RUDE, AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! For what they charge a night, spend your money elsewhere.

Some of these higher ratings must be employees or friends as I spoke with a handful of other guests during our stay and they were just as frustrated and disappointed as we were. Either that or they are carry overs from other hotels and placed on the wrong location. This location is a quick flip from a run down Comfort Inn and they didn't do the best job. Half way at best. The staff also isn't the most attentive, there were many rooms with TV issues and no soap in the baths for washing hands or taking a shower. The pool area could use some ventilation. Toilets and showers are still the old ones installed from the previous hotel and show the wear, age and function as they look. The breakfast was more of a let down than usual, they didn't keep the food fresh and also let it run down quickly and didn't seem to care about those still needing breakfast. Luckily there are restaurants nearby — unfortunately you have to pay for those and they are not included in the room price. Even the elevators were months past their inspection date. As another reviewer mentioned, its all in the details. The management team definitely should have paid for a higher quality construction crew, finished the rooms and building completely, and updated or trained the staff much better. Will never stay at this location again. I would much rather drive the 15 — 30 minutes to other locations that actually get it right.
