For the price point, it's surprising very clean. It's a little outdated, drop tile ceilings with some water damage, and there aren't any fancy amenities (shampoo and soap bar), but the person at the counter was extremely pleasant. We had a microwave, a mini fridge, and some cable channels. There wasn't anything "sketchy" about the motel. There were no arguments, no loud noises, no shady people. It's within walking distance to the liquor store and bars. Everyone in the stores around the area were friendly. I highly recommend the place if you want to spend the night and save a few dollars by driving in town and don't care about the appearance, because you're crashing for the night.

Very basic. Everything worked. Beds kind of saggy. Friendly staff.

Stoped in to visit for a one night stay manager was available @midnight to my surprise so the price was cheap I can understand why what place did not seem to be in the best of conditions so it was nice to have two queen mattresses available found an iron burn on the carpet assuming a guest has left the iron on the carpet also found opened package of soap in the shower also did not feel the most secure and I find it hard to find parking in front of my own room.

Not bad. All hotels seem overpriced to me but what can you do? I paid $85 for just myself, reserved by phone at 9PM because other hotels in North Platte were already full. (Why has the "Vacancy/No Vacancy" sign gone out of style? ) The owner/operator who greeted me was polite and matter-of-fact, checked me in promptly. My room (#28) was clean although the carpet looked old and sketchy (I always wear flipflops anyway). The room was furnished with some of the upscale accoutrements (ironing board and iron, hair dryer, coffeemaker), microwave and fridge, flatscreen TV. The bed seemed relatively new, not slumped in the center, comfortable. I arrived after dark and departed before dawn, so the outer appearance of the place is something I cannot tell you about. But there was a cigarette butt receptacle outside my door… although it was a non-smoking room! My room was very very quiet all night. This is the older part of North Platte, north of the railroad tracks. The main road (Hwy 83) through town is torn up. This may create some traffic problems during the peak hours but I got there after 8PM and had no problem.

Cockroaches and HORRIBLE staff: Over the course of three hours since my check-in, I killed three cockroaches. Two of them were pretty big. After cockroach number 3, I decided I had enough and wanted to be moved to a different room. The employee there treated with suspicion and asked for proof (which was flushed down the toilet beforehand, unfortunately), and telling me this "wasn't possible, since we had the room sprayed". Why would I lie about this? Makes no sense (I just wanted a different room, not a refund). Conclusion — cockroaches and BAD customer service.

Horrible, dirty, stains on bedding and thin walls and ceilings. Just wanted some sleep and couldn't get that!
