This place is a great value. The rooms are small and worn but surprisingly clean. Bathrooms are basic with shower, sink, and toilet. There is an outdoor pool that was active when we arrived with adults and children and appeared clean and well maintained but we did not take advantage of it. My son and I were traveling from North Carolina to Oregon and just needed a place to stay for the night. I wouldn't recommend it for a long term stay but if you need a cheap and clean place to stay for a night or two and don't mind basic but clean and comfortable rooms that are easy on the budget this place would work well.

We were touring western Nebraska and need a place to stay one night on our travels and this place fit the bill perfectly. I felt like I had been taken back to a bygone era of roadside hotels. The place is adorable and very well taken care of. We checked in late and the front desk lady was sweet and accommodating to us in our tired state. It is a great place to rest a weary head.

Great place to stay. The room was clean and the staff was super great! We had to leave before breakfast was served and she let us grab some cereal bars for the morning! I had a comfortable sleep and the climate control worked well. We were right by the pool, so it was a little noisy until the pool closed.

If I had to describe this place in one word: Surprising. I WAS expecting a sketchy place but it was clean, had a decent breakfast, comfortable beds, and friendly service. Definitely worth a second look as far as hotels/motels go in the area.

He older style motel is owned by a former Marine, who keeps this place ship shape, and got us in early when we showed up too soon, they flipped the rooms and got us out of the heat, besides the fact we showed up in a large Uhaul and trailer right after the parade through town ended. (Got to wave at the queen in her convertible) This place is beyond and gem and the best stop we had from VT to ID and rooms were spotless, shower pressure was great and towels fluffy. The pool was outdoor and heated and the ice machine was HUGE and essentially beckoned you to fill up your cooler. Very dog-friendly, I counted 9 dogs with owners. There is a grade school half a block over so take your poo bags and walk around the school and feel comfortable on the breezeway sitting with your pooch. The parking lot was debris free, like it was not allowed there. Pooch fee was like 10 bucks and was in a quiet part of town. Ice machine called to you to fill your cooler lots of dogs and we showed up early and they turned the rooms quickly for us to get in.

Friendly people. Clean rooms and reasonable rates. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for all the hospitality.

Regarding the beds… Really bad. They were so soft, they sagged like crazy. Extremely uncomfortable. Very difficult to gets a good nights sleep. Be forewarned! No complaints on anything else.

The gentleman that owns this hotel was so kind and helpful. Continental breakfast is better than most. Rooms are clean. For the price, I don’t know that you could do better. If I ever find myself in search of a place to stay in North Platte, I will definitely choose this hotel.

Seriously, the most comfortable beds my sister and I have slept on in years of traveling.

We found ourselves being forced off of I 80 due to the recent storm. We tried several of the hotels with close access to the freeway. All of them were packed full since 80 had been shut down. That forced us into town. This place is nothing less than fantastic! Quiet… cute… CLEAN! You can tell that the owner has decided that this place is not going to be your typical older motel that dies a slow death. It is well cared for. We ended up staying two nights and loved it. There's not a great deal to do in North Platte in the middle of a weather shut down. But staying here has made it a pleasure.

Nice comfortable bed, quiet and restful. Love the Mom&Pop feel of the place. Feels like home even though I've never been here before. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone looking for a Home-like comfort & feel when you're away from Home.

Nice, clean, and friendly everything we were looking for in a quick night sleep on a road trip! Staff was very nice! Beds were really comfortable and the shower water pressure was pretty great! Would definitely book in the future!

Motel was clean and quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful! Room was nice, but pillow was hard as a rock and bathroom still the same as 1984. Water pressure was very low and no exhaust fan in bathroom. Heat fan runs 24/7 but kept room plenty warm.

This place was wonderful. They were helpful in picking me up and dropping me off when my semi broke down. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Spent one night here while traveling cross country. Picked this hotel based on price and ratings. We were not disappointed. Hotel was older but very clean rooms with comfortable bed. Nice owners, friendly reception. Free continental breakfast with good choices. Would recommend this hotel.

This is an excellent place where everything is well thought out clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful you couldn't go wrong here.

We randomly picked this hotel based on price for a two-night stay. As another review here notes, the hotel is older, but our room had a nice TV, a microwave, a mini-fridge, and was nicely decorated. Best of all, it was immaculate! It's been awhile since I've been this impressed with the cleanliness of a hotel room. The desk staff both when we checked in and when we checked out were friendly and fun. We'll definitely stay here again when we're traveling through North Platte.

I've been there twice. Smells good. Plain & simple. Not too pricey. Small parking lot.

Small and older but impeccably clean and comfortable. I was warmly welcomed by the woman at the desk and she was extremely helpful and accommodating with making sure I had what I needed. I wanted to be on the road before their breakfast was available and she sent me back to my room with a selection of food so I wouldn’t leave hungry. I also enjoyed their alternative to the normal hotel room art (pictured). I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in North Platte.

The hosts had turned the heat up for us when we called asking about a room and their dog policy. They were awesome about dogs. No crazy high deposit or per pet fee. Room was clean comfortable and the fist hotel on our trip tha t seemed to understand disabled needs. Topping all that off the price was great.

A clean and quiet motel. Free Wi-Fi, fridge, and microwave in the rooms. It did lack outlets for a laptop or large devices. A lovely place to stay.

My friends and I stopped here as part of a cross country road trip. The place is a small motel, but in good upkeep. The rooms are basic and there is a free breakfast. It was a good value for the price. There is even a small pool.

We stayed here 4 years ago with our dog because it was the only place we could find that allowed our dog. We came back, she has passed on. Reason we came back… because of cleanliness and cordial host. Will do it again.

We had such a wonderful time staying the night on our long trip west. The service and staff were wonderful! Room was clean and smelled fresh! Price was affordable and would highly recommend to stay here! Charming throwback hotel you don't see often.

Clean. No frills. Warm pool. Fresh baked homemade bananas bread in the am. Walking distance to restaurants/downtown strip. Good value.

Cute and clean. A bit dated… but kept up well. Friendly staff. The only reason I gave this motel a 4 star instead of 5 is because the parking stinks for bigger vehicles. Other than that, it's a great deal for the budget friendly price.

This motel is a great choice for travelers passing through the area. The motel is extremely clean, friendly, comfortable, and a great value. I really enjoyed the small town feel of the motel. My expectations were well exceeded, especially compared to the high priced options near the interstate. I would highly recommend this establishment.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean and in good repair. Yes, the decor is a bit outdated but that's a but that's really not a big deal to me. Very affordable. Very clean and comfortable. Great staff. A+ in my book.

We stayed here based on the favorable reviews and agree with the others… a good, basic motel without the frills that only add to the cost of the stay. It's off the beaten path but North Platte is easy to get around in, so that is no problem. Will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in North Platte.

Great little hotel for a great price. My husband and I were on a road trip and blew a tire outside of North Platte. We couldn't find anywhere to get a tire changed on a Sunday so we got a hotel room. Turns out it is right next to a tire shop! Long story short, it's a clean and friendly place to sleep, plus it has a pool and free Wi-Fi! If you want breakfast, lunch or dinner there's a local restaurant down the road also.

We stopped by on a cross country trip. It's a ways off the freeway, probably why it's more affordable than the other motels/hotels in the area. It is a little older but clean. We were the last ones to check-in at 2am! They stayed late for us without any complaints. AC was great during the night. Parking is a little limited and difficult for bigger trucks.

I like this place because of an inside joke with my wife. It's a fine place to sleep. Super cheap and decent quality. No frills AT ALL.

When you take a first glance at this hotel, it'll look outdated and potentially a terrible hotel. However, I found my stay to be fairly satisfying. My family booked two rooms (for 6 people total for an overnight stay on our vacation), for $144 total. The rooms seemed clean and had key ammentities (the only thing missing was a mini fridge). Aside from the missing fridge, the only inconvenience was the small parking lot. Overall a nice hotel (if you look past the appearance of this hotel).

It's 5 minutes from th freeway the young guy that was working was a great help. And so nice and respectful.

This hotel is surprisingly decent for the price. It's a little older than most hotels but the Wi-Fi speed was good and the room was clean. I don't believe there was a breakfast available. The area is near the center of North Platte so you are close to some businesses.

Cheap and reasonable level of cleanliness. A little sketchy how they taped our key to the office door because we arrived very late.

Couldn't be any cleaner! Hotel staff provided great service, safe location and room super clean.

This motel has made it into the top three worst facilities I have ever had the displeasure to stay in. The room was cramped and worse yet had a pungent odor that overwhelmed our senses with the A/C unit not working other than to spread the smell. To add insult to injury the motel is located in an older area of North Platte that not only challenged your feeling of safety but lacked places to eat other than a liquor store across the street. Finally, being a "pet-friendly" facility there wasn't a decent area to walk your dog nearby other than a city park over 3 blocks away (refer to the safety comment above). This was our first experience with an Americas Best Value Inn based on the positive web reviews that it had received and it will most likely be our last.

Just what we needed for the night. Very Clean and priced just right. We are definitely sold on Americas Best Value Inn's. We have stayed at 3 different ones and none have disappointed us.

July 22 2015 staying over night on our way to Iowa. I will say that the room is clean the AC works very well, bed comfy & price good if I could change anything I'd put like more coffee for two plus enough cream and sugar, it needs to be upgraded So I have to give only 3 stars, but I would recommend it to others.

Cons:Very limited parking, hard to get a room unless booked way in advance. Pros:Friendly Staff, Comfortable Beds, Nice Outdoor Pool, Clean, Nice Atmosphere Outside, Great & Safe Downtown Location, Fridge & Microwave We absolutely loved our stay here. Read the reviews, and felt it was worth a shot since the price was so much lower than other hotels in North Platte. This place is a little gem in the middle of the city, it really is. It was a short and fun drive off the interstate, and there is no limit to places you can go to eat, shop, or just explore. Lots of downtown charm in North Platte, and you miss that just going to the hotels off the interstate. I loved the old fashioned key on a big key chain, rather than the cards for opening the doors. Took me back to a simpler time in life. I enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard before bed, and they are good and strict about stopping noise at 11pm. Would definitely stay again!

Inexpensive ($57.10 after tax for one person) yet clean and comfortable. Wifi, cable, good water pressure/temperature/volume, comfortable bed, and friendly managers. They even let me ship something to them so that it'd be waiting for me when I arrived. The Husker Inn wouldn't do that for me, so I checked this place out. Good call.

The best hotel in the city. Clean pool nice rooms. It is not expensive what more you want. One tip : Friday ans Saturday it is very busy have chance to dont have free rooms.

Owner went out of his way to accommodate me, even gave me one of his personal (unopened) toothbrushes! Clean, spacious room. No loud noise.

Have stayed here on 3 separate occasions. It is off the interstate on the North side of town but worth the short drive. Hotel is older with nostalgic feel. It has always been very quiet when I have stayed there. Rooms are clean. Flat panel TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. The shower is nice square tiled variety. I do not know if they have rooms with bathtubs so if you require a tub be sure to ask. Also bring your own hairdryer as there are not any provided. This is no frills but a good price.

The place was very clean and quiet. The bed was comfy. The host was friendly. Well worth the short drive off of the interstate. For breakfast we went to a near by diner called Heidi's and had huge made to order breakfasts. The cost together for both the food and the stay was a little more than half of the big hotels.

It's ran by a nice couple who take a lot of pride and put a lot of care into their business. The facility is old but my room was impeccable! Clean and very comfortable. A bit off the interstate but these nice people are worth giving the business to so don't hesitate to stay here.

We stayed at Americas Best Value Inn In North Platte, NE recently. This is a very friendly clean motel. We will probably stay there again in our travel to Colorado.

It is really clean and nice motel. Friendly service and very good condition room. I trust the Google review and I come to check in, I knew I found a good place to stay. The price is fine for 2 people. Come and try. I like this motel.

I've traveled often, stayed at many places, including in the North Platte area, and none compare to Americas Best Value Inn. Reminds me of a time when life was simple, with big neon signs, and clunky metal cars that ran off cheap gas. If your traveling through the area, I would only recommend staying here. Cheap rates, clean rooms, with a new age twist, and friendly staff. Locally, and family owned. This place is taken care of with love and pride, you can def. Tell the difference.

Upon entering the motel, we found the parking to be badly placed. It was a real nightmare coming back from dinner to find a parking space you can actually pull into. There's no breakfast in the morning, and there's no family-friendly restaurants nearby. Expect to drive a few blocks to find someplace to eat. I had booked this hotel for my family because the ratings seemed good. We had ants in the bathroom as well. For a place to lay your head for the night, it was okay, but I think I'll definitely look into staying someplace else next time I'm in North Platte.
