For a motel meant for people just traveling through, this is awesome. Clean (really! ), with delightful employees. I would not have had any complaints about extending our stay here. Wish this motel were the norm instead of the exception. Clean doesn’t cost much!

The staff was very friendly, and the room was nice and clean. If you're driving on I-80, the location cannot be beat. I loved that it was dog friendly, and was delighted to find a very nice, big park within walking distance. My suggestions would be: fix the squeaky doors that stick, and don't charge for Wi-Fi. Aside from that, it was a great stay. Thanks!

I travel back to Nebraska once a year and like to stop about 1/2 way. The room was just what I wanted and needed. The little front desk gal was friendly and helpful… the only downfall of our stay was the weather (raining) so my grandboys couldn't swim. Will definitely stay here again.

The room was in OK condition and clean though the air conditioning didn't work well and no fridge was provided, the first Motel 6 I've visited where this was the case. There was only coffee available in the morning and no hot water available. Ironically they give out a card requesting an online review on check in then tell you that you have to pay $2.99 to use the internet in order to write the review. Fine for the night but could be improved.

The room was descent. Beds were hard. We came in late and went to sleep, and when we woke there were ants all over the place. They were on the night stand, the floor, in our bags. We went to the front desk to inform the lady about it. She said she already knew and they would get it taken care of. She also said, "Well, at least its only ants. " in response to my complaint. It was gross and we grabbed the kids and checked out quickly.

Clean, quiet, well maintained, no frills hotel. Bring your own shampoo and be prepared to pay for wireless access if that's important to you. Motel staff is friendly and helpful. I slept well and was on the road on time.

I needed an inexpensive room before I'd hit the road again the next morning… that's all. And that's just what I got. It was clean, comfortable, decently priced plus, when requested, Denise made me a pot of coffee at 10:30 p. M.!

Had a great stay! The room was clean and seemed recently updated. Denise was very friendly and helpful upon check-in. She had suggestions for nearby dining and breakfast spots that offer discounts. The next time we’re in North Platte, we’ll definitely make a return visit!

Very terrific stay! Love that you have replaced all the carpet with wood floors! Seems so much cleaner. Front desk was marvelous. Very professional, detailed and called my room after an hour to be sure everything was alright.

Denise at the front desk was very kind and helpful in arranging 2 rooms together for my family. The location after a long drive was perfect and the rooms were super clean and comfortable. Will stay here again on our next trip through North Platte. Thank you for the hospitality!

Very clean, very quiet, place. Many food choices that deliver to room. Priced right. And new girl was wonderful. It was evening shift. Morning lady must be really busy, she seemed stressed, but cooperative. Let me wait in lobby after check out and gave me a complimentary Wi-Fi. They need to have free internet. Over all a clean, pleasant atmosphere.

Ashley Cleaned the room very good. I forgot to leave the comment card… but she did awesome! This hotel is Great, I would recommend it to anyone traveling and needing a quick place to stay, especially for the pricing.

First, I couldn't open the door. Then the deadbolt came on by itself and I couldn't get it closed. Then, my car door wouldn't unlock. The front desk guy came to my rescue. I expected his help with the hotel, but not my car. He was wonderful. I appreciate the service I received here. And, it's pet friendly.

Certain people behind the counter deserve 5 stars but overall, the experience was a 3. The room was clean and what one would expect from Motel 6, but the door was sagging away from it's upper hinges and judging by the wear visible on the door and jamb, had been for some time. It made a lot of noise every time it was opened or closed. I could hear my neighbors come and go and they surely heard me. When checking in, I was asked for my phone # "in case you leave something in the room. " I did and nobody called. When I called them they indeed had my phone charger, which had been in a plug inside the nightstand, but the evening person was not clear on how to get it back. She said call UPS, and get a label and email it to them, though forgetting to specify that I call the local UPS store in North Platte and not offering the number. I thought she meant call UPS national as if I were shipping the package. A weekend person named Melissa clarified what had to happen after I called back Sunday. Kudos to her. I understand the other person was new, but she should have had a clue what the procedure is. I'm sure that in her world when she says "call UPS" that means the place in North Platte.

Room was clean, warm and staff was friendly and helpful. One thing that would have made our stay better was the floor was tile and when we walked in with snow on our shoes it melted. The room needed a mat or rug to absorb the melted snow so when you walked to the bathroom your socks would not get wet. For the room price we enjoyed our stay.

Very clean — friendly people at desk-workers that were cleaning too. Only complaint and I mean only the sink in the bathroom love the sink modern but the faucet sprayed you every time.

Great hotel staff. They were VERY friendly, thoughtful and super helpful. The room was SUPER clean, well maintained and organized. This was HANDS DOWN the best Motel 6 experience I've ever had. I really hope other Motel 6's could learn from this one in North Platte. It would make it more likely for us to stay in a Motel 6 in the future.

The rooms are really small but also really clean. For the price I wouldn't complain. They did just remodel the place so everything is brand new.

Clean, good beds and very pet friendly. Much quieter then other motel six locations. Our room had a microwave and refrigerator — very nice addition. Large truck or trailer parking area. Nice if you are hauling — big plus with easy turn around. There was no hairdryer in the room. Overall a good location.

The room was small but big enough for what we needed. We were on the east facing side so we could hear a lot of traffic, but the worst part was the room above us. It sounded like the were walking in circles up there and stomping. Not much noise insulation between the floor above and our ceiling. Made it hard to get sleep for our 4:30am departure time to get to Omaha for a 9:30 appointment. Hindsight being 20/20 I'd have paid more for a better nights sleep elsewhere.

Very clean and quiet. We have stayed at this motel 6 before. Very friendly staff. We have a dog so that's another Number one reason why we stay at motel 6's across the USA. This motel 6 had comfortable beds too. Which is very important to us also. We will stay again…

We had a good time at the motel. We were travelling a long ways and when we got to the place we were able to get into the room very quickly, got a good night's sleep so that we could get going on our continued trip the next morning. Very efficient, clean, and friendly!

Location is easy to find right off I80. The room was clean and the air conditioning icy cold. Love the semicircle shower. I appreciate that Motel 6 allows pets to stay free. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a nice motel six. It has received the latest Motel 6 updates. It offers solid, comfortable. No frills lodging.

Love Motel 6 because we can bring our dog with. We stayed at the one in NorthPlatte after driving for 8 hours. Great at check in, got room 109. So tired that when I took a shower I didn't see the used bar of soap till I was in there and when I looked at the shower it was pretty dirty looking. Got out and there were no new toiletries to use. Beds were made but when sheets pulled back there were bugs in the bed! The was a piece of paper with the name of who cleaned the room but I can not remember and I'm pretty sure no one double checked that workers work. I felt seriously dirty just thinking of sleeping there. Talked to Lisa at front desk and she was lovely and very helpful. She put us in room 115. She had me check the room first and it actually smelled like cleaning products. We took it and thanked her for her help. Once in new room, there were still ants in room on the floor and there was a bug in one bed but I squashed it because I was too tired to care anymore. We did get a comp to use in the next year, but I don't think we will use it.

This is an honest motel. I stayed there for the Eclipse, and made the reservation back in January. They didn't "lose" my reservation, like some motels did, and they only charged me $30 to bring an extra person along, when I called in June, despite the shortage of rooms. They could have easily charged more. The room was kind of "bare bones", but that's what one expects at this price.

The staff was very accommodating even making fresh coffee for us at 11pm! After a long day driving the room was nice and the check in painless. Great customer support on the level of Hilton properties! Will stay again when travelling with our animals. Very pet friendly.

It was a great stay. The person at the front was wonderful and did great customer service. The room we stayed in was very nice and clean. The only thing I would improve was the hallway and the outside needs o be updated. It is a great place but I am afraid people will not stay there because the outside is not as nice. Very poor water pressure, dirty carpet, room comes without microwave, fridge, clock, hair dryer, shampoo, and you pay extra for Wi-fi. Room itself clean except for carpet. Bed hard but comfortable to me. Very friendly and helpful staff, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Clean, economical, a bit dated, could use an update. A good place to spend a night when going from point a to point b. Good value for the price.

First night there was due to car breaking down on freeway. The staff was very good to us. I highly recommend the staff. We stayed 2 nights waiting on the car. The third night was on way back from Kansas, Our results were just as good. While the Motel its self could use some updating the over all experience was very good.

Motel 6 North Platte, NE is showing its age inside and out. Nonetheless, it was quiet, the room was clean and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. The location is convenient for the road weary traveling long distance on I-80. It's a short walk to several eateries; fuel and a W-Mart are just two blocks away.

The rooms are fine for the price of stay. Lack of free Wi-Fi is a definite downfall as it is impossible to complete work from the motel. Service was good.

I went to 6 motel6 motels in the last two weeks. The prices were good. The tvs quality and internet service needs improvement. Motel6 looked more dangerous than other motels some had shady characters hanging around there was a towel with a ketchup stain. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR its ok for me.

This is a great place to stay in North Platte. Large comfortable rooms that are well kept. The only negative comment I can make about my room was that the television was old — not a flat screen. Beyond that everything worked well and my room was very clean. The hallway and stair carpets were a bit ragged, but this is a Motel 6 not the Hyatt Regency — the cost of my room was inexpensive, the motel was in a safe area, and my room was comfortable — what more can anyone ask?

Worst possible motel experience ever. BUT it wasn't the worst ever because we had some real bonding time with our little bed bugs which weren't quite little.

I wanted a nonsmoking room with a refrigerator and microwave on the second floor. I needed a refirig for my pet's food. Only smoking rooms on second floor. Why do motels still allow smoking in rooms? Ended up on the first floor with a circus performing all night in the room above me. Drove 8 long hours to sleep. Only to pay 50.00 for NO SLEEP because idiots above me. Will never stay at this motel again unless they put some nonsmoking rooms with refrigerators on the second floor. Would have had a better night sleeping in my car.

Room was clean and staff were very helpful and friendly. I was motorcycling and it was raing and Jamie got me set up in a ground floor room was even though she was very busy. I would stay here again.

Old, rundown hotel is no bargain, even at the low price. No breakfast. No coffeemaker in room. Old, small tube type TV. Musty, perfumed smell in rooms and hallways. Carpet, drapes, bedding are worn and ratty. Extra $3 charge for Wi-fi. Extra $7 per person. Noisy old AC/heater unit. There are much better choices in N Platte.

This is a run-down dirty nasty motel. AND they charge extra for Wi-Fi! Worst Motel 6 I have ever stayed in.
