I was in a suite for the weeknd. A beautiful experience! beautifully located. Almost EVERYTHING within walking distance.

Very clean, lovely and hospitable hotel.

The customer service is the worst I have experienced. I booked 3 rooms for a couples night with some friends and due to the weather, I called in hopes to change my reservation date. The woman who spoke to me over the phone the day before my reservation told me there was no possible way to cancel or change the date. The next morning I called again and spoke with 2 kind gentlemen who attempted to help my situation. After 2 hours of waiting on the phone, I was told that if I had canceled/changed my date before 10 a. M. They would have been able to do it. I was never given this option when I first called the day before and instead lost money on 3 rooms. Terrible experience, terrible hotel.

Terrible hotel. Charged way more than quoted, sold us a parking pass then the garage was full every day so we had to pay to park on the street. Said they would take the parking off the room and did not — glaring at the bill right now. Two parking tickets later, a local homeless man tried to enter my car while I was waiting for my family.

Worst Hilton Hotel experience ever! Parking is a joke, garage space is limited. Maid service came into my room, took my tip, and didn't clean anything, or leave me new towels, laugh! I ordered extras, none were delivered. There is no service elevator, so if you are on a higher floor, it will take you a while to get down or up because the elevators are shared with cleaning team. Employees are somewhat rude, you will not get the Hilton experience here. I recommend looking elsewhere.

I've stayed here at least 6 or 7 times this summer and sorry to say I am not impressed. I don't usually stay at Hiltons but this is convenient to my work. I've encountered poor housekeeping (forgot to empty trash, forgot leaving soap, dirty towels, left dirty glasses), dirty carpet, missing furniture, broken lampshades in multiple rooms, outlets that don't work, loose outlets, bathroom tap that sticks and hard to open and close. I've complained at desk and get put back in s…ame room several weeks later and stuff still broken. This time I paid for an upgrade to executive suite and website says :2 Double/ 1 King Executive Suite, 430 sqft

Superior views No water in fridge and front desk staff starts getting argumentative with me when I ask. Your website says this and you can't fulfill. Plus for $200/night this place so run down and broken and front desk doesn't seem to care. Speaks so poorly of the Hilton brand. I can't recommend this place at all, since no one has bothered to even address my complaints.

Good accommodations with friendly staff. Although, my room lacked an ironing board and the night staff promised a replacement, the did not provide nor notify me I would not receive said board. The morning staff accommodated a replacement board within 5 minutes. Good lobby. Bat and restaurant on property. Parking is expensive, limited, and a hassle for larger vehicles. This should be expected for a location downtown and an easy walk to Target Field. Be aware and careful walking the area during night games. Great location. Good price. Good room. I recommend the King Suite. You will enjoy this hotel.

Stayed there for a concert at target field. Room was nice but not $300 a night nice. I have stayed at a lot nicer places for a lot cheaper in this area and although I’m sure the price was partly due to the concert I would have rather stayed elsewhere. It was decent though but like I said, there are other hotels near that offer a lot more for less money. Probably won’t stay there again.

THE WORST hotel I've ever stayed at! We had a bug in our bed, had to wrestle the remote for it to work, extra blanket in the broken closet was crispy. Actually it may have been melted due to hot temps because the you can not adjust the room temp. Had left over garbage from previous occupants probably because there's no garbage containers in room. And to top it off our bathroom sink backed up and FLOODED our room!

Great place! I didn't know one of the housekeepers know ASL. It was very nice seeing my daughter signing to him. Let me tell you, this is very rare! He did an amazing job ensuring we had everything we needed. We will definitely come back again.

Nice rooms, reasonable rates. Found it a little odd that I couldn't enter from the garage before checking in (though they did let me in after calling via intercom). Very pleasant staff.

I was there to shoot a wedding, so I didn't experience a lot the hotel has to offer. I rated it a three because the price of parking was insane, especially for less than three and a half hours. $16 is too much. The elevators were secure, as only those with a room key card could gain access to the sleeping room floors. The bar area was nice for photos. The staff was courteous and helpful. The main level restroom was clean.

Great location. Tons of shopping, dining and bars within walking distance. Our room (King Bed Suite) was very spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming when checking in. Would have given 5 stars, but the parking is abysmal. I understand it's in the heart of Downtown, but the driveway needs to be wider than to allow 1 car. If 2 cars are going in opposite directions, only one can fit through.

If I could give a negative star review I would. Would not recommend this hotel. Ice machine was broken on our floor and another floor. Very small parking lot, and have to pay to park each day. Room was incredibly warm and our AC wasn’t working. Automatic doors for the front do not work. Have to pay to use Wi-Fi or only use it for one day. No pool.

I didn't sleep much during my recent stay at the DoubleTree, mostly because it was hotter than the blazes in my room. I turned the thermostat down a few degrees, no change. Turned it down some more, and still nothing. Finally, I turned it down as far as it would go and still got no relief. Since we were on the eighth floor I assumed that the window wouldn't open, for safety sake, but to my surprise I was wrong! You could've jumped right out of that sucker, and had there been a snowbank below I probably would've thought pretty seriously about it. Thankfully, it began to cool off, just in time for me to need to get ready for the day and check out. We brought the faulty thermostat up with the staff as we checked out, and were told that that's just how it operates, there's not a lot to be done about it. So is the thermostat there for a funky contemporary art piece? The other things that I noticed during my stay that I would normally overlook became especially irritating, probably because I was exhausted, included towels that we're stained and holy, and a shower curtain that was about to fall off the rod because it was in disrepair. To their credit, the staff was friendly and the cookies we got at check-in were delicious. However, I expect better from the Hilton brand.

Love this hotel. Room was reasonably priced and huge. Clean and modern. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Although, the feature advertised in the room to allow you to text for service or questions was useless. I texted and the auto reply came that someone would be chatting with me shortly. After sending a few more messages, and over an hour later, I gave up. Everything else was awesome. I even got a free warm cookie on check-in!

Good location. Easy to walk to area restaurants. The bar on site is small so gets crowded easily. Only ordered apps but they were okay. Bartenders were awesome! Rooms were clean but the hotel could use an update. There is also a Starbucks onsite.

Nice rooms and great location. The (overpriced) parking ramp was a nightmare, however. The fact that check-in is at 3 PM but neither of the 2 rooms we reserved was ready until after 6 is absurd … we were then kindly directed to the lobby bar (as if we didn't have free drinks we wanted to take advantage of in our hotel room after already spending a decent amount on the room and parking). I'm not one to go out of my way and complain, but this is ridiculous and seems to be a trend based on recent reviews which is a bummer.

Although we were promoted to a suite due to lack of standard rooms, I am disappointed with the quality of the finish and service.
For the price paid, I would have expected better.
The location of the hotel on the other hand, is perfect for our Conference at the Convention Centre.
I would come back if the price was more reasonable.
Oh! And would it be possible to put less Potpourri in the lobby of the reception? It smells so loud sometimes that tears come to my eyes!

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Made a reservation for one night 3 weeks before staying, and the room wasn't even ready when we got there. Waited almost 3 hours before getting a room, only to walk in on a family already checked into the room. Walked back down and waited another hour before getting a room with 1 bed, when we had booked one with 2 (it was a pull out couch, so it was 2 beds, is what the excuse we were given was). Never actually got a roomkey, because the "security guard" walked us up to the room, and never came back the rest of the evening. Didn't get a key the next morning, either.
Desk staff seemed completely apathetic and unprofessional, one girl saying to another individual at the desk who was just as upset "I'm sorry for this bullshit, I mean, problems we're having".
Saving grace was that we were comped our stay, but definitely never going to book with this location in the future, and highly recommend others avoid it like the plague.

The Doubletree is one of your most basic hotels in downtown Minneapolis. The staff provide basic services But don't expect a smile after midnight because they are likely to be fed up with all the drunk revelers. I would only go here if you can get a good deal on a room and don't expect anything fancy.

Location was great! We stayed for a bachelorette party and were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, including the restaurant. Our service there was excellent! We loooved the free cookies! The only thing that we would have changed was the parking and Wi-Fi fee. I know they may want to you become a member to receive those things, but if I am staying your hotel I should be able to park in your lot and use your Wi-Fi for free. Other than that, our stay was amazing!

Right in downtown Minneapolis and close to a lot of restaurants, theatres, Target Field and other nightlife. Rooms are large and the one we were in had a pullout couch, mini fridge and microwave. Turn down service every day helped keep us organized and the rest of the hotel is nicely decorated to provide a nice upscale feeling. Would definitely recommend.

Service was great. Every one of the staff was polite and helpful. The parking garage is a too small for larger pickup trucks, but they do have an alternate lot you can use if you ask. The on site restaurant is small with a limited menu, but the food was good.

I typically like HIlton hotels, and even Doubletrees, but this place is a bit outdated. As a golf member, I was disappointed with their breakfast bar. There aren't as many options as the other DTs in which I've stayed, and the hot food doesn't seem as fresh, but their continental options are nice, and they serve fresh Starbucks (if you like that stuff. ) My BIGGEST complaint is the extremely slow internet. There are times when I can get 2-3Mbs, but it's usually 150-250K. Those are dial up speeds. I called about their premiere speeds, but they don't even offer a higher tier. This is completely unacceptable for business people uploading or downloading files. (I'll upload photos of my download speeds. ) The location is great for my needs, and the hotel staff seems nice and informative. There are lots of great eats nearby, but there are also other hotels in the area that, for the same price, might have better internet, updated rooms, and a nicer breakfast option.

Bathroom was extremely small, dated, mold on shower and floor tile and old, low toilet. Room was on the street facing Target HQ and since there was no privacy sheer on the window, the heavy curtain needed to be shut at all times which made the room very dark. Poor lighting throughout.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Accommodations were decent for the price. My only complint was that I'm a little disappointed with the crib they provided for my infant. A basic pack and play with a thin platform for the mattress. We were able to rig something so there was more padding.

The front desk was super helpful and courteous. Signed up for HHonors there and they switched us up to a HHonors room on the spot.

Attentive staff. Comfortable and expansive rooms that look recently remodeled. Parking is a bit difficult as some reviews mentioned, but unlimited entry and exit daily. Plenty of things to do within walking distance. On site full service Starbucks is nice.

The rooms were nice and the beds were pretty comfortable, but the lack of free Wi-Fi was annoying.

Rooms are very nice. Clean. Underground parking is cramped and sometimes not enough for the guests. Overall a very nice stay and location is great.

It was really nice, with great front desk service. The location was fine but the parking garage had tight corners and very limited parking. The romantic was great but the shower was kind weird and the shower curtain didn't stay pulled across the whole shower, instead it slid to the middle. Other than that it was great.

Picked this double tree for a trip to Minneapolis with immediate family to visit extended family. We didn't do anything local to the hotel area, but it certainly seems centrally located to lots of attractions, sports arenas, and downtown restaurants. The room we had was very nicely furnished, seemed very well maintained. Comfortable beds, quiet from road noise (at least on the 8th floor), temperature is well maintained without a loud blower. Parking costs extra, $21 a day : (. And no free breakfast either. Didn't visit the exercise room, and I believe there is even a laundry.
