Booked several rooms with 3 other couples and all of our children. When we booked we were told that the pool was in working order and there was a hot continental breakfast. The pool is NOT in working order nor the hot tub. According to the front desk gal, the pool has not been working for at least 5 months. Breakfast consists of mini packages of powdered donuts, bad coffee, cereal bars and a few packaged rolls. All of us were charged different rates and went through a process to get refunded to have equal rates. The rooms were less than fancy and needed repair. Will not be coming back.

Would not stay again. Seems like an old hotel that needs to be renovated. Grungy carpet, water damage on the ceiling, heater blowing right in my face. I think of Wyndham as an upscale brand, but this was disappointing. At least the price was appropriate (low).

We've stayed here a half dozen times. Never had an issue. They've always been kind and friendly. Our room has been satisfactory. The attached bar/restaurant is a big plus!

The room was very nice and we had an exceptional housekeeper, Jackie. Front desk was friendly and helpful. We will absolutely stay here on our next trip!

You can't go wrong at the Wyndham! Have breakfast in the restaurant on weekends! What a deal! Be sure to leave tips! These people do a great job for you!

The Wyndham Garden in Rochester is a wonderful place to stay. All of the staff went out of their way to make my wife and I comfortable. While in Rochester for my wife's medical situation, I came down with heart issues and ended up in the Mayo ICU. My wife needed a procedure the next day and with me in the hospital I couldn't help her out. The folks at the hotel and the shuttle service from the hotel were kind enough to escort my wife to and from her procedure. When she returned to the hotel after undergoing anesthesia, the staff at the Wyndham called our room every hour to make sure she was recovering. That is going over an above all expectations! When we left the motel my wife forgot a bag with her makeup and an expensive watch in it. She called to see if it had been found and they had already sent the bag Fed Ex to our home. This is a very clean hotel and with staff like this, you can bet I will be singing praises for the Wyndham Garden to everyone who will listen! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

Room rates are very reasonable. Rooms are very large with separated bedrooms and very large kitchenettes. Wyndham recently acquired this hotel and is gradually remodeling, so some aspects of the hotel are spiffy while others are run down. The carpets are old and stained but the beds are clean and in good condition. The TV in the bedroom of our first room had a broken cable and we were promptly moved to a new room. The pool and hot tub we're open, but the heater was broken so they were both stuck at 71 degrees. One of the reasons that we selected this hotel was for the complimentary shuttle to the Mayo Clinic. The shuttle was very punctual and the drivers were courteous.

Booked this hotel because they pictured a nice kids pool. I was thinking since we have to be here for a not so fun visit to the Mayo, we could at least have fun at the hotel. The pool was ice cold. Our 2 year old was even shivering in hot tub! So cold! The heat in the hall ways didn't even work. Frost was on the Windows. The room was mediocre at best. A lot of wear on the room. Towel bar was ripped out of the wall in the bathroom. Hole in the door to the bathroom. Outlets didn't work. Probably won't be back.

This hotel isn't fancy but it is a nice place to stay. The cliff behind it is really pretty and the pool area is nice. I would like more breakfast options.

This has got to be the nastiest motel I have ever stayed at! I had no choice but to stay there so I went to Walmart to buy Clorox wipes to clean. We had a two room suite with a kitchen. I kid you not, the white refrigerator handles were black with filth! The breakfast was just pastries. Forget the pool because it was so nasty. Why Wyndham would allow their name on this establishment is beyond me. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was the price. I guess I got what I paid for.

Too bad we couldn't give 1/2 star. The pool area was very messy. The pool and hot tub looked like it wasn't been cleaned in over a week or so. The walls were turning green. The maid service was none. We got a knock on the door at 11am from whom they said was maid service. When I answered the door I asked for her to come back in 20 minutes. We went on about our day. When we returned to the room we noticed that the maid NEVER came back. Our towels were still on the floor in the bathroom, our beds weren't maid, garbage wasn't taken out. We then went to the front desk and showed that our room wasn't cleaned. The guy said "well all 3 of our maids called in sick" He then gave us towels and wash clothes. I wouldn't recommend staying there unless it's for just one night.

I see Wyndham as somewhat of a premium brand in hotels. Not the highest end, but better than most. This one doesn't meet that expectation. To be fair, it appears that Wyndham purchased this property from someone else who was less than premium. They are certainly upgrading the property, and you can't snap your fingers and change EVERTHING at once. Stained carpet and bed covers in our room were troubling. But the bed and pillows were very comfortable, the staff was bright and friendly, even volunteering some good restaurants nearby… and they were right! In summary, the place is OK and I would consider it again, but it's not at all premium. Rather 'Holiday Inn' like.

Needs a good cleaning. Lobby carpets are stained and need to be cleaned. Room set up is nice but, definitely needs A GOOD deep clean. Front desk staff, was receptive to my concerns.

This place is awful! In the first two rooms we we're given keys to had was feces on the sheets and door to the bathroom. The door knob to the bathroom door fell off in our hand. When we asked Jill, at the front desk, for a different room, she gave us a key to room 426. Upon inspection of this new room, we saw bugs — dead and alive on the made beds. When I returned to the front desk to explain the problem, I was told by Amber, " to just leave if I am so unhappy. ". She refused to return my money and told me that I am too picky for wanting a room with no maintenance issues. According to the front desk staff, this was the first time they have ever been alerted to such problems. If it happens in one room, it is an coincidence, if it happens in 3 rooms in one night it is standard practice of the hotel and a clear statement to the customer that cleanliness — and customer service — is not a high priority at this hotel. Save your money and don't stay here!

Friendly helpful staff, nice size clean rooms. Not sure why it is "garden" there wasn't one but there was a small outdoor patio area outside the rooms near the pool room. Huge pool room but it needs some updating and the pools and hot tub need a deep clean. You can see lots of build-up especially on stairs and sides. Went to lobby a couple if times and it was hit or miss if there was regular coffee. The "continental breakfast" was a joke. It was in the bar attached to the hotel. They didn't turn lights on so it was very dark. They served cold hash browns, cool powdered eggs, and sausage links. There were a few (maybe 6 and never refilled) muffins. No toast, or fruit. They did however have coffee… only if you like it black and they had either O. J. Or Milk to drink. Overall the stay was nice, biggest complaint was the breakfast which is more on Cowboy Jacks than the hotel.

It's right off South Broadway, which is an increasingly busy street. The entrance driveways are not particularly well marked, especially when not familiar with them. The attached restaurant serves food on the spicy side. The ice machine on the 2nd floor was out of order. However, the rooms had a fridge and microwave. The beds and pillows were comfortable and a 2 queen room doesn't feel too cramped.

Poor air conditioning. Ants. Dirty in areas. Cigarette butts outside on the ground. Breakfast buffet minimal at best with several items gone. Friendly staff.

Location was great and rooms beautiful and very clean. The pool was out of order and there was no breakfast.

Thought it was a good deal for money spent. Shuttle to Mayo was very convenient. Sad when we arrived pool was closed for yearly maintenance but wasn't noted on the website I saw. Front desk very helpful!

Pool was closed, but we booked through Expedia, so not upset that it wasn't publicized. Friendly staff, comfy. Cowboy Jacks has some great food.

Room and location was very nice. Close to many shops and restaurants. Only bad thing to say is that when reserving, it waited till after the reservation was made to post that the pool was out of order. Since we booked for the pool for our kids to play in, it was an inconvenience.

They were very kind to me at the front desk and even offered to give some necessities to me that I has forgotten. Which I appreciated beyound words.

We got a great rate online, so my expectations were not high. I was pleasantly surprised. The property is recently renovated with a contemporary decor. New comfy beds, a microwave and mini fridge in the room. Will stay here again!

Had to ask for bath towels. There were none in our room. Other than that it was a good stay.

The beds were comfy. The pool didn't work. There's no breakfast. The rooms were a bit dingy.

Great rooms and right next to cowboy jacks restaurant with hot waitresses.

Nice enough staff, easy in and out, attached bar "Cowboy Bills" was nice. A little dated. Just an 8 minute or so easy ride to Mayo and Apache Mall. Outback and Chipotle near by.
