Mayo stay, clean and comfortable place to stay. Breakfast daily and soup evenings for the cold Minnesota nights!

Front desk lady argued with us about how we reserved the room. Booked the room on their website and said we did on priceline. We cancelled a night and got confirmation number, she refused to refund us the night even though we had a confirmation of doing so. All she would do is raise her voice and argue. I didn't get her name, but she was a petite lady of Indian descent. Worst customer service ive ever had in my life! never staying at a comfort suites again!

As often as we come here, the front desk people know us by our first names and, if available, will upgrade is to a suite at no extra charge.

Very accommodating. Kind, polite and go out of their way to help you. Clean, roomy rooms. Great breakfast!

Very comfortable room, beds, and suite. Friendly staff, super fast check in. Got same price on their website as on a discount website. I've had to stay in Rochester several times this year, but this is the first time at this hotel. Definitely well priced, and worth the money.

They also have continental breakfast daily and some nighttime amenities.

Great hotel, the rooms are big and clean with a couch, desk and chair. It even had a mini fridge larger than the usual size. The bed was pretty comfortable. Only complaint is the elliptical and the entire gym overall is old and not well kept.

We have been coming to the Mayo clinic for over two years now and this place is truly our comfort! Most of the staff is great!

Beautiful hotel, in a super convenient location. We were in town to go to Mayo, like a lot of folks, and this hotel was perfect. The room was gorgeous and super spacious, very comfortable and it felt like home. The staff was very friendly, and I really enjoyed our stay. I'll definitely be back!

Just started replacing the flooring in the lobby & Commons areas. Needless to say with the weekend a day away the issue was simple. They had to finish up the busiest areas. What surprised me is that they completed it, and quite fast. So, it wasn't as bad as initially thought. Other than that, everything else was very nice. Our room was immaculate, the whole place seems like a great place for families. A little inconvenient with the remodel but all things considered it could have been a lot worse.

I stayed for four nights. Check in was smooth. Staff very courteous and answered all of my questions. Room was clean, spacious and well stocked with extra pillows, blankets and towels. The bed was comfortable and had both soft and firm pillow options. Lamps with plug ins for charging phones on both sides of bed, as well as a USB dock on one side. The pool is on the smaller side. But my kiddo didn't seem to mind. The hot tub was hot, pool cold, both were clean. The pool area did seem to need some attention, garbage and towels thrown on chairs seemed to sit around for a couple of days. But the towels in the pool area were consistently stocked. Breakfast was decent. A fair variety of items offered. Later check out of 11 am was nice. We will definitely consider staying again when in the area.

Clean, quiet, lots of accommodations for electronics. Super fast wi fi. No TV channel guide. Fridge was off and took quite a while to cool off. Bed was ok. Felt like it was aging a bit and was a bit saggy for me. Not a bad place. Loved the Wifi and USB ports everywhere.

Rather, it's a standard room with a hide-a-bed sofa located in a place where you can't see the TV while seated. Also, there is no vanity outside the bathroom, a feature one would expect in a suite. All in all, a comfortable place to stay, but overpriced for what you get. You can find just as good or nicer properties in town for $10-$40 a night cheaper if you spend a few minutes looking. I did find the front desk to be quite flexible. My mother was discharged earlier than expected from Mayo Clinic, and having prepaid for the room, the hotel did not have to refund the next night I had reserved. They did so when requested without any objection. This outstanding customer service made me go back to edit this review to give them an additional star.

Nice location without being in the middle of a the city traffic. Very relaxing stay during my two weeks I was here for work. Decent internet speeds for doing all of my work on my laptop as well. It is close to the movie theater, some good restaurants and Target. There is also a shuttle for anyone that needs to get to Mayo in Rochester as well. I would definitely stay here again if work brings me out this way. Highly recommend this hotel!

We've been pleased each time we have stayed here. It's convenient south of downtown with plenty of dining/shopping options very close by. Generally very good Internet access, however, this time we had to switch back to cellular for coverage because it was spotty. If you are a Mayo Clinic employee, be sure to ask for the special rate.

Staff were warm and friendly. Our room was clean, neat and modern. Breakfast was on par with others. Pool was small. Hot tub waa hot. Great experience.

5 stars to Shannon the manager who was amazing, he went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Thanks again! I highly recommend staying here. Very clean, comfortable rooms. Our next trip to Rochester, we will only stay here!

Shannon was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the town. He was able to give recommendations and easy to follow directions to restaurants, gas stations, and shopping. Made our stay much more pleasant. Room was very clean, beds were comfortable, water was hot in the shower with good water pressure, and there is a nice, big vanity around the bathroom sink. Quiet location, quiet rooms. Hotel was easy to find, with plenty of parking, and it was easy to get out and around. Did not visit the pool area. Free breakfast. Great stay in a great hotel!

Will never do this hotel again… Very rude, even when you have 51 guest for the state wrestling tournament from just 1 team… was there Thursday night — Sunday morning Thursday night 6 cops where there someone had a gun, people where smoking pot so staff took it out on us guest we where supposed to get a meeting room for a potluck with our team on Friday night they wouldn't let us use it we had to do it in the lobby but we had a curfew and where told many times we had to be quite at 730 at night there where many children under the age of 15, they had to have shoes and shirts on when in the halls coming or going to the pool. The pool was the smallest pool I think I have ever seen in a hotel. Will never go back to this hotel again and will never recommend it to anyone…

When giving directions, give exit number. Our first person was no help, second call knew exit number. Our room was great. We asked if we extend our stay, yes but got a bill to check out. We had to make a mad dash to change rooms no thanks to Sean, but the morning desk gal was awesome! Sorry didn't catch her name but very professional and kind! Amanda is her name, extremely welcoming and efficient!

We've stayed here 2 different times and both were very pleasant. Staff is friendly and efficient. Rooms and common areas are very clean. I used the pool every day. The pool and shower area were clean. Love the glass dispenser of lemon water in the lobby. Great breakfast offerings also. Highly recommend this hotel!

Absolutely the best hotel I've stayed at in Rochester. Rooms are spacious, clean and the amenities are great. Always great coffee available 24x7 and snacks at some times during the day and evening. The breakfast has a great selection with healthy alternatives available. Plenty of fruit and yogurts.

I've stayed here twice and both times were great. This last stay really stood out though. The staff were excellent and Shannon really went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed. Talk about being impressed!

Great location in Rochester. Hotel was very clean and all staff was helpful and friendly. We go to Rochester for medical and will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We started here New Year's Eve the temperature when we were leaving was — 10 and that is not counting the wind chill. Of course our car would not start. The two guys at the front desk were so rude! Neither asked if we needed any help or if they could even call someone. We ended up having my niece who drove separately go get us a new battery. Well we could not get it in. Three ladies in the parking lot trying to replace a battery. Still with those two lazy rude guys sitting at the front desk still not asking if we needed any help. Finally one of the sweet gentlemen from housekeeping came out and helped us. Once we finally got it going they still never said a word!

Here on a Mayo trip and they have been excellent on extending our stay as needed. We have stayed 8 nights and have nothing bad to say. The staff is great! Very friendly and professional. The facility is very well kept and very clean. We are in a King whirlpool suite… its a nice size… plenty of room for an extended stay and the whirlpool is great! Hot breakfast every morning. Highly recommend!

Great rates for a clean, comfortable room! The reception desk helped us out with a free razor when we forgot to bring any and the office, printing station in the lobby was very helpful during our stay. We would stay here again. :)

Very nice staff, rooms were nice and clean. Quiet hotel. Easy access to all things we needed and wanted to do.

The best Choice hotel for the price in the area but if U have money the blow go to the Choice Hotel on Lake street by the sky bridge. I do not have unlimited funds so this choice suites with more amenities and at 1/3 the cost of the one near the skybridge was a no brainer for me.

The rooms were so clean! Some places are "clean" till you look behind a chair or desk. A bottle rolled out of sight and we moved the chair ane the floor was clean. Trust me, we were really impressed. We'll stay there again.

Room was very clean except for the bathroom floor being sticky. Front desk did not inform us to switch the air over (apparently the air wasnt already selected) and we were sweating the whole night. Only thing they said in the morning was we should have called. Bed was horribly uncomfortable and pillows were awful. Comfort inn is a better alternative.

Clean and up to date hotel. The bed was to hard and the pillows were all the same, too thick and too hard for my taste. Because of this my night sleep was terrible which is why I rated it a 3 star. If you like hard and thick this hotels for you.

Everything was fine from the room, gym, shower, and breakfast. Nice guest services. Quiet and a good place to stay. Was there for one night. Did not try the pool. I would recommend this hotel for anyone needing to stay in Rochester. FYI the breakfast ends at 9am.

Greeted warmly by hotel staff. They let us check in a bit early because we had to be at a wedding at 4pm and needed time to freshen up. Pool was open until 11pm, which was good because we wanted to take a dip after we got back to the hotel later that evening. Beds were clean. Fresh. Bathroom was sparkling. Slept great. Enjoyed a fabulous breakfast in the hotel lobby the next morning. Will definitely stay here again on future trips to the Rochester area. Thumbs up!

Literally the worst customer service. Ever. I love the property and location, but last time I stayed, there was a soccer team. There were teens running amok, letting doors slam ever two minutes after 11:00 PM. About 20 parents were in the parking lot drinking around a pickup. Front desk did nothing. No refund, no discount. Nothing. When did hotels become personal playgrounds instead of someplace to get a good night's sleep?

We have just returned home from staying here one night. This hotel was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of offerings: waffles, omelets, sausage, cereal oatmeal, yogirt, eggs, danishes, etc. The rooms was very spacious! I was pleasantly surprised at the size for the price. For only 99.00 we had 2 queen beds and a pullout sofa, plenty of room to move around for our huge family. Fridge, microwave. Nice big bathroom. The pool was a little small for the size of the hotel but it worked well enough. Overall a very pleasant stay. The front staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked for a place to eat dinner for the night and the recommendation was fantastic! Thank you! We will be back.

The gym equipment was abysmal but the treadmill worked fine. The pullout couch was terrible but then again I am a large man. The beds were extremely comfy!

Located in South Rochester by Wehrenberg Movie Theater. Clean rooms, modern design, friendly staff. Pool and workout center upkeep is above average. Breakfast varies which is nice instead of having the same thing every morning of a multiple night stay.

The rooms are nice, very spacious, and comfortable. The staff if very friendly and helpful. It is in a quiet location with shopping and dining near by. The free breakfast is slightly above average for a hotel.

I stayed here while I was being seen at Mayo Clinic. I've never dealt with a hotel around Mayo Clinic that wouldn't work with you at all on late check out. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone that is in town for appointments at Mayo Clinic.

We had booked a room because I was taking my daughter to Mayo Clinic. People said if you go to Mayo you could be there for 3 or more days. I'd never booked a hotel room before. So I booked it from April 18 to the 21st. Mayo wasn't able to get my daughter in to see the Doctor the ER told us to go to the next morning. We went back to the Comfort Suites it was 11:10 AM. I talked to the man at the front desk. He said he could credit me for the following day. Then when he looked it up he said "sorry you booked through Expedia so we cannot give you credit. So for a total of about the 14 hours we spent at Comfort Suites IT COST ME $317.26. That does not sound like a good deal to me.

We were using the meeting room for a Road Rally event with a few attendees staying overnight. The staff was great, and everything was as it should be.

Great hotel. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Soup, bead and cookies were complimentary while we were there. Front desk was very helpful and breakfast was excellent. The atmosphere in the lobby was so nice I spent time there reading. Will certainly go back!

Close to Mayo Clinic, I found the bed to be a little hard, and there is no traction in the tub so I slipped getting in. Overall very clean and hospitable, good number of amenities and food.

Would have given a 5 star but two of the desk staff needs some people training. The 3rd man was absolutely the best! Hated when he had his day off! Wonderful clean rooms, very roomy and comfortable! I will stay here again and recommend it!

The motel was very easy to find and we were glad we didn't have to go downtown and drive in the traffic of the city. The young lady at the front desk was extremely professional and friendly. She immediately made us feel welcome. Our room and the facility was very clean and neat. The morning breakfast had hot and cold options and was very good. We used the shuttle service and it was a great stress-free way get to Mayo. We would definitely stay again if we have to come back.
