Good base for a skiing weekend. Coffee/ got chocolate available for free 24/7. Sauna and hot tub ok, everything is a little dated but functional. Friendly employees and clean. Free continental breakfast was at the Lake Superior Resort, a 5min drive away.

Clean and comfortable room just down from the mountain. If you are OK with not skiing out of your room, then this is a very good option.

Staff were great. Package price with lift tickets was a great deal. Really close to the hill makes it easy to walk. Otherwise, the hotel room feels like any other standard hotel. No complaints.

Dinner at lutsen resort was delicious. Clean rooms.

1. Over priced. 2. Sticky bathroom floor. 3. Very soft (no support) beds. 4. Window coverings wouldn't close all the way. 5. Bath room sink very slow drain. 6. Two bath room lights were burnt out (kudos someone showed up right away and replaced them). 7. Won't be back.

Quite and very peaceful retreat. The staff were very knowledgeable and kind. The rooms were immaculate and beds very comfortable. Fantastic hospitality stay.

Accommodations sub-par. My biggest complaint and reason for the low rating was it’s advertised as a “ski in” resort and is far from it. Have to drive or walk a good distance to find yourself on the slopes. Arrived at 9:30PM to find we have to go back down the road to check in since the front desk was not staffed. Would have been nice to know this when booking the reservation. It’s not super far but it’s the customer service aspect I felt was lacking. Included coupon for a stripped down continental breakfast at the parent resort. The restaurant buffet was very good but required paying an up charge for those not staying in the main hotel. Given the inconveniences of having to drive would have been nice for them to include that as part of the package again to just provide better customer service vs. Treating other hotels in the area family as red headed step children. Needless to say we won’t be staying at this resort when going back regardless of value it provides.

Clean, nice bathroom, nice sink-microwave-minifridge setup and comfortable beds. Good bang for the buck.

Pretty good deal with the ski and stay package! Rooms were clean and updated. Hot tub was much appreciated after a day on the slopes. Free light breakfast at the parent Lutsen Resort was a perfect start to the day. I'd like to see some improvements in the sheet quality on the beds. Otherwise, it checks off all of the marks.

They bought me a toothbrush on request :).

I literally have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Everything about it was great. It wasn't fancy, but it was perfectly what we needed. The little things about the hotel, is why we look forward to staying there again. They didn't have bars of soap, that are thrown away daily. Instead they used liquid soap in a fancy pump bottle. In the shower, instead of dealing with little bottles, they had a pump system on the shower wall for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Brilliant! Not even $500/night hotels do that. The King size bed was very comfortable, and had enough blankets on it to warm any frozen woman, and plenty of comfortable pillows. The room even had a 32" LCD TV and Wi-Fi without a password. The price of the hotel was dirt cheap ($88), but it included a free breakfast down at the fancy Lutsen restaurant overlooking Lake Superior. For a $5 upgrade, we got the full $20 buffet. The buffet was fantastic. We stayed there to go snowmobiling. And in all convenience, the trail is literally 100 feet from the entrance of the hotel. We have already highly recommended a stay there for the convenience, price and amenities offered. We will happily stay again for our next snowmobile trip.
