I stayed here during summer, so I didn't get to experience all of the perks of being at the ski slopes! However, our room was very nice and clean. There was a fireplace, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker, so that was very convenient! The room also had a very nice view. The winery is right down the road just a couple minutes. We didn't have any problem with noise or hearing our neighbors even though all the rooms were booked.

Great place to stay and ski. Being able to ski out from the hotel was nice and the rooms are nicely updated and clean.

Just remodeled bldg was in great shape with a wonderful view of the ski mountain. Very nice new exercise bldg and pool. Small thing — the two cups coffee makers in the rooms were a big improvement over what we usually find.

We stayed at Eagle Ridge for a wedding. They won't allow you to check in until 4:30, yet they begin shuttling people on a 9 minute gondola ride at 4:15 for a 5:00 wedding. This was very stressful when traveling from the cities (we requested an early check in, we got in at 4:00). Also, they require a 2 night stay, for $179/night it's not worth it! No breakfast offered, so since we had a large group we bought out the little hamburger stand by the Alpine slide. The wedding was beautiful, but the resort needs some upgrades. They should offer more food choices, a vending machine near the pool, and better cable/Wi-Fi in the rooms.

If I could give 0 stars I would, we were there for a wedding and had to ask 3 times for new towels for the room. A relative paid for my room with hers, but I still had a charge on my card for the rooms, they claim they didn't do it. Rehearsal dinner food was raw and they used the excuse of "not used to cooking for large parties", if you aren't able to do something properly don't offer a service. I will refuse to recommend this place to anybody.

This is our second time and last time staying at eagle ridge. In both visits we have experienced manager issues, room issues and cleanliness issues. Our latest stay started with a executive condo King room which was beat up, dents scratches everywhere on the walls, doors. Not to mention and extremely pungent gas smell which smelt like propane to me but was told it's just "sewer gas" coming up from the P traps. The staff changed our room which was equally beat up, the bed had a crushed box springs, a large divot and was highly uncomfortable the lack of sleep ruined our vacation. Each bathroom had Mold and deterioration where the shower door meets wall. We also had a mysterious brownish wet spot in the hall. I had showed staff pictures and had asked the manager to call me twice. The manager was conveniently in a meeting during checkout time. However I find this interesting because the last time I stayed at Eagle Ridge the manager was also in a meeting and unavailable to be spoken to about these issues. I have not received a call yet even though I was told I would. I would like to note the desk staff are very nice however extremely Limited in their ability to help guests. There was another guest who had a complaint about the service in the rooms and was told the same thing while I was checking out. I was told my complaints would be noted in my file. I would hope that a place which calls itself a resort would be taking better care of their rooms as well as their guests.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway & I would have have been more relaxed & comfortable in my own home. The pictures do not match the room we paid $160/night for. The pool is outdoors which is fine if it's not 35 degrees out… No indoor pool as seen in pictures. We went to the neighboring resort to use their indoor pool/hottub. The walls are not sound proof, our neighbor decided it would be great to start tromping around like an elephant at 12:00am. The town's around are great & wonderful hiking trails if you're willing to drive, but I would not recommend this resort.

Nice variety of runs. Only complaint is the lifts are outdated and slow. Grooming could have been a bit better as well.

Cozy hotel accommodations overlooking the ski hills. With easy access to eating skiing and gift shopping.

The hotel room and ski-in/out access was awesome. However, we did not receive any customer service of any form. While checking in, the two women at the desk barely looked up to greet us and after a minute did they ask what we needed. They didn’t provide any information about the area, slopes, restaurants, anything. Not even a map of the ski hills. We weren’t provided maid service unless we requested it, and if it were after 4 we would have had to wait until the following day. I won’t wven mention the lack of sympathy or any form of apology when I informed the front desk my boyfriend and I got food poisoning after eating at Moguls. We asked for a late checkout and were still intruded upon by maid services at 11:10am. If it weren’t for the beautiful day, nice room, and extremely easy on/off ski hill access, I wouldn’t have given any stars. Work on your hospitality, people should be treated with respect for the prices they’re paying.

The cabins are clean, convenient, and cozy. The amenities area was a bit chaotic and crowded when my group went to use it on Saturday evening, but had far fewer attendees on Sunday and was very enjoyable.

Very nice room, and it was excellent to be able to hop onto the ski runs from right out our door. Friendly staff, great experiance.

I love staying here for ski in/ski out riding! Lutsen is the my favorite resort in Minnesota and Eagle Ridge is the best place to stay when visiting. The indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub make it complete for an awesome stay!

Absolutely loved it here! Cannot express in words just how wonderful of a stay we had. We stayed here in early fall and got a nice room with a Jacuzzi for fairly inexpensive. Located right at the top of the mountain, it's quiet and beautiful. If it hadn't been for me having to get back to work, we honestly would've stayed a couple more days. Can't wait to go back!

We visited through a groupon type package that includedwinevtasting at winery on property and a 4 course dinner with wine pairings. Was a great weekend! room was large, full kitchen, great view. We will go back!

Rooms were better than expected, except for the flooring and futons. The location is unbeatable. Stayed at a 2 room condo with family and it was beautiful view from there. However I believe it was over priced.

It is amesome! if you have kids go to the Alpine Slide. If you are staying at the hotel you can get coupons at the registration desk for the slide and the gondola lift. The gondola lift gives you a awesome view! also a indoor outdoor pool with a hot tub! on some nights there is a fire by the pool.

Very nice room, seemed like a very new building. Easy to locate from 61. Beautiful stars on the night it didn't rain! Both vending machines were empty. Check in felt a little slow, but the waiting area was very nice.

Weird pricing structure, it cost me $305 for two nights and all I got for that was a double bed, studio room. My friends paid $330 and had a 1 bedroom king suite, with full kitchen, living room, and balcony overlooking the mountain. Wish I would have known that a few more $$$ would get me all that.

Was probably a decent place when new, but maintenance issues are creeping up on them. The bed was comfy, but no hot water in the bathroom. The pool was nice, but the 2x4s holding up the ceiling boards was an interesting touch to what is basically a glorified motel.

Location is great. Service is bit of a challenge, there is no housekeeping after a certain cutoff time in the day. The checkout time is strictly 11 am with no exceptions even if the resort is empty. At registration time, the staff attitude wasn't very welcoming.

The accommodations are okay. The rooms have a good layout, however the noise is noticeable from other guests and the housekeeping staff. There was some frustration with routine maintenance being performed on the hot tub during prime hours. Given how the maintenance was conducted, it seemed as though there was opportunity for a lesser delay in returning the hot tub to guests for use. Only a minor inconvenience, but some attention to detail with respect to the bedroom TV would have been appreciated. It would have alleviated a few hours of work by maintenance staff. It lacked a proper connection via an HDMI cable. Though stating this upfront and the DirecTV error message stating so, the worker proceeded with other troubleshooting steps. If anything, they will remember for the next time it happens. It also is noticeable that the grounds and buildings could benefit from some upkeep. The septic system also needed attention during our stay as the smell was rather pronounced.

We recently stayed at the Eagle Ridge Resort over the 4th of July. Our room, the executive one bedroom condo was exceptional. The condo was clean, updated and very spacious for our family of 4 offering everything we could possibly need. The entire staff was courteous. During our stay we visited Gooseberry Falls State Park. The waterfalls were an amazing exploration for us and our children. The falls will keep you and your family busy for hours and you wont be disappointed. We also went to Black Beach in Silver Bay. A hidden gem and a must see while you are in the area. Make sure to follow the sign off of Highway 61 and continue all the way to Black Beach parking. There is beach parking right before Black Beach, but this is not the correct spot. Keep going another quarter of a mile. We spent a day in Grand Marais where we enjoyed a 2 hour sail on Lake Superior aboard the Hjørdis—a 50' traditionally rigged schooner. Also we attended the fireworks, enjoyed the local harbor filled with entertainment and visited the local shops and eateries. Our entire vacation was delightful and one that will be remembered by all.

Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Our room did not have bedding for the pullout couch and front porch light was not working upon arrival. After contacting from desk, both issues were attended to quickly. Great atmosphere and scenery.

Our family stayed in a Fireplace Studio Elite room at Eagle Ridge for a weekend in April. My two young girls really enjoyed the view and the indoor pool. We also took advantage of the kids eat free deal at Papa Charlie's restaurant down the road. One downside: Upon checking into the room, we smelled a funky smell like the room had been smoked in before. But after keeping the windows open and turning on the bathroom fan, we were able to get it smelling fresher. It was very close to Lutsen Resort and also just a short walk to the Superior Hiking Trail.

Our room took a long time to prepare and the cable was not great. Also, the pull out bed was very uncomfortable. However, there was a nice view of Lake Superior and a nice pool area.

The Alpine Slide was awesome! Rooms were great. Was here in the summertime. Wildlife abound. Service was great. Mountains looks awesome to ski on. Can't wait for wintertime.

Rooms were decent for the price. On a family ski trip, close to the mountain and very convenient. Nice friendly staff. Would go again.

Lutsen is always a great time! The new gondola is awesome and Eagle Ridge is a great place to stay if you wanna get up and ski basically from your back door!

What's with this bizarre three-quarter wall dividing the room in half? What a waste of space. Most of the rooms had balconies, but not ours. We must have drawn the short straw. Also, extra attention needs to be paid to the floor in the corners and around the bed skirts. There was a lot of crud waiting there for us when we arrived.

Went there for a snowboarding/ski weekend. It was a really fun time. Cold but very fun. Hotel was nice, staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

The scenery is beautiful and my room was very cozy and inviting. I was a little disappointed by the poor TV signal and that housekeeping does not make beds. Other than those minor gripes, my stay was fantastic.
