Very nice and friendly staff. The room was very clean and neat. The breakfast was fresh and they use real sirverware, ckasses for your juice and bowls for oat meal. Overall I was very satisfied.

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Just a one night stay, but would likely stay there again. There was a minor billing issue, but staff worked to fix it right away. No elevator to the second floor, but pet friendly.

The best Country Inn & Suite hotels I have stayed at. The staff is accommodating, friendly and ensures that you enjoy your stay. The hotel was renovated this past winter and the results are great. The interior is modern, the beds are extremely comfortable, the pool area is well kept, the hot tub was extremely relaxing and the continental breakfast was great. There is a comfortable sitting area near the front door which helps to make the stay even more relaxing. I have been traveling for 3 months straight and this is the one hotel I have no complaints about.

It is a fairly good place to stay. I thought the beds were comfortable, however my daughter did not. The first day we were there, there were plenty of towels in the pool area. The second day and night there were none. Was told they didn't wash towels, odd since the hotel seemed to be booked full. The breakfast area is small and cramped when you are trying to get to the food. They were serving scrambled eggs, sausage and french toast. All that there was were a few scrambled eggs. They had one poor lady trying to keep up with the demand. Most of her time was spent changing the milk out of the machine because it was sour. A good bakery donut would have been great about then, but our choice was a packaged muffin. Walked away with a $250 bill on my credit card and hoping I don't have to stay there again.

We had such a wonderful stay. Our room was really clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

This is my first stay here. You can tell this property has been fully redone. It's quite nice. Staff are friendly, they have a free hot breakfast, and the location is close to restaurants, Target and Wal-Mart. My areas where they can improve would be: no counter space in the bathroom. The air conditioning works but something seems weird in when it runs to heat or cool. The room temp is comfortable though. Lastly, whilst they do have a pool and hot tub, they did not have a fitness center. Apparently they have a partnership with a local club but I was not prepared for nor did I desire to venture out to another place for a workout.

I’ve been upgraded to the suite, it was perfectly clean with the exception of the toilet that might be improved, I appreciated the excellent fruit salad at breakfast and the attention of the staff. Air conditioning inside room was a bit noisy, but that’s almost a standard in USA for such accommodation category.

The staff was very nice, especially Cassie. She was taking care of the breakfast area and doing a great job. My room also was very clean. Thank you.

The hotel was clean and quiet, with a good breakfast. The reason I've given it a 2 is that I left a very nice hooded race sweatshirt in the room and despite calling repeatedly, it is not in lost and found and housekeeping 'did not see it'. I was there for work and didn't wear it to work so… can 100% confirm that it was left in the room. Unfortunate. Don't use the hook behind the door in the bathroom;-)

Parking lot wasn't shoveled well after a snow melt… slush, but room was very clean and front desk was very efficient at check in. Checked into room and TV remote doesn't work. Front desk checked and we were told remotes don't work here. We were stuck on one channel because buttons on TV don't work either. Ummm… same channel for the entire stay? Enjoyed the small pool and the hot tub doesn't have an activation button.

The beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. The rooms are a little small but clean. Front desk staff was nice and helpful.

We were in town last minute, stayed in a room with a king size bed. Room was clean and well decorated, enjoyed the pool /hot tub. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

A great, comfortable place to stay in Grand Rapids. Rooms were recently remodeled. Beds here are cozy and provide a restful sleep. Swimming pool and hot tub are clean and refreshing. Enjoyed many stays here and hope to enjoy many more.

I needed a decent place to sleep after a 16 hours shift at work k owing I would be working 8 hours later and live a good distance away. They had clean rooms, clean bathrooms and a quiet environment to rest!

Clean and comfy! Great check inn experience, lots of parking. Grocery, eatery, fuel, pharmacy all within 1/2 mile FYI… No elevator to second floor! Breakfast is ok, and always has coffee and cookies available!

Nice motel. Clean with a nice breakfast. Rooms lack real storage for extended stays. Small shelves and no drawers.

Great experience! I was worried having a room right by the lobby would be annoying and loud, but I slept great and barely heard a thing in the hall! Bed was comfortable, breakfast was awesome. The decor is really nice for the price. Definitely will stay again if I'm ever in the area.

This was a nice hotel for a smaller city and we enjoyed our stay. Everything from the Wi-Fi, the courtesy of the staff, and the cleanliness of the room was pleasant. There was a hottub and pool. The pool was peanut shaped, 3 feet deep on the shallow end, 5 feet on the deep side. Basic, but my children certainly enjoyed it.

Hotel was in the midst of remodeling. The paint was fresh which made the rooms smell. The door was wet and there were no signs to indicate that. Beds were okay and the vanity was barely big enough to put your soap on. The breakfast bar was just adequate.

Hotel under destruction it was a complete mess! Rooms were partially finished, carpet missing in rooms. Screws laying all over the floor. Items from the rooms laying in hallway do to the destruction. Paint fumes, wet paint. Beds were hard as a rock, no ventilation in restroom for when showering. Hotel staff were great and that was about it.

We had asked for a handicap accessible or close to lobby room for my elderly mother, when making our reservation to stay for my BIL's funeral. When we checked in we found the whole first floor shutdown for remodeling and there was no elevator in the place. Then we get put in a room almost at the end of the hall. My poor mom, after climbing the stairs had to walk so far, taking a couple breaks on a chair I brought out from the room. Shame on you Country Inn and Suites for not alerting us to the poor condition of the hotel when making our reservation. Have always stayed here when in Grand Rapids, but the Sawmill, AmericInn or Super 8 will likely be getting our business in the future.

Clean rooms and great service, but the air in the room was incredibly dry. The blanket felt a little cheap, but it was warm and felt okay with the sheet in between. Bed was of uniform medium firmness. The location was great for visiting family on that side of town, and the parking lot was accessible. The food in the morning was okay. I'd definitely recommend the baked goods over the eggs and potatoes, which felt a little rubbery.
