Clean room at an affordable price. A slight old smoke smell, but the money saved was definitely worth the stay.

Hotel was rather dated and the Wi-Fi did not work anywhere, including the lobby.

Beds were comfortable. Rooms are very dated though. Shower head was not high enough to accommodate us so it makes showering a pain because we are both on the taller side. The hotel staff also kept over charging it took 3 times to get it straightened out. The front desk lady was rude. On the super 8 website it says breakfast is until 9:30 we went down at 8:50 and it was nearly all out away. The gal doing it was quite rude. Wouldn't reccomend this hotel. And probably wont be staying at another. Will most likely stay at the best western next time or town place suites by marriot.

Nice room, but cold. No thermostat to turn up the heat. Continental breakfast was sparse. Service was good.

TV didn’t work had to wait to have another one brought in. Room smelled of cigarettes. Stayed here twice second time the price was higher and the room was dirty but I was desperate for some sleep. Good parking if you’re a truck driver. I believe it’s hit or miss. Pay more stay at the Marriott.

The front desk folks were friendly and helpful, however, there were pieces of pet food on the carpet (it was a pet friendly room) and a piece of something in the bathtub that I don't want to identify. My small dog found a smell on one of the bedspreads that she wanted to roll on. She usually only rolls in disgusting smells. There was a great view of the rising moon, though!

It's an older Hotel but seems like a good place to crash for the night. Room comes with iron and ironing board, a blow dryer, fridge, microwave and coffee pot.

Was charged double tonight because of solar ecplise, talk about cashing in on a rare phenomena and we only stayed because my wife is sick and cannot travel, I am ashamed of this hotel chhain, chose wisely in my future travels and avoid this chain of motels.

Looks to have been updated fairly recently. Comfortable beds and attentive staff make this a good option for travelers. The continental breakfast was decent, but the lobby is small so plan accordingly.

I had an excellent stay. The room was just fine, and the breakfast was really good. Clean hotel, definitely recommend! Only problem was that I got locked out of my room for a few hours, but the manager Twyla (? ), did everything she could to help me out, all while remaining friendly and kind. Again, I would seriously recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cheap room in Gillette!

Had no problems with this hotel. The only downsize was they did not have a pool. The Staff Was Friendly. Great deal for the price. Would love to stay there again. Good Luck hope this gives you an small idea of this place!

The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He was the same guys that I talk with on the phone and he was kind on the phone as well. The room was nice and spacious. There was a beautiful canvas photo of mountains as our headboard. There was a good sized, yet still compact, refrigerator and a microwave. The bed was comfortable, what you'd expect from a hotel. It's right next to a subway and sone other restaurants. Gas stations are not far either. Also, because it's so important when driving across the country, there was a Starbucks or two one exit east of the hotel. Very convenient for us who are going east. The negative (only minor offenses) : it took me a short trek around the entire tiny hotel to find the ice machine. The drain in our shower didn't have a plug or grate and it was pretty rusty looking. The doors didn't seem to block sound either way in or out. At least not as much as a usual hotel door.

Should not even get 1 star… I'd give it a half of a star honestly, staff is incompetent and extremely Rude spent less than 2 hours there one hour was spent just checking in after the woman at the front desk had to re enter my card number three or more times then calls to my room asking for it again at three am after a rough night for my husband and I just wanting to sleep, are you kidding me? Will never stay in this hotel ever again, terrible experience all around and in just 2 hours. You people are ridiculous.

Have to get a new key everyday. Cause it stops working other than that ok.

Stayed there toward the end of June 2014. Light switches didn't work for the main room. Pubic hairs all over the bathroom. No hot water. Refrigerator was not working when we checked in but by morning somehow it was cool but not cold. The on call manager at check out was overly frustrated due to issues with the breakfast equipment and supplies. Other travelers were having issues with their rooms during this period as well from the comments that were being made at the front desk.

Cathy is great, employees are friendly and knowledge our room was large and clean, the washer and dryer worked great. Our stay, which is lengthy, has been an experience that is good. Thank you cathy for everything, and get some rest. Mike and Mona Miller.

We were still checked in and downstairs eating breakfast when a maid came into our room and started to clean. It should have been obvious that people were still using the room, since our stuff (laptop, dvd player, clothes) was still sitting out. My husband happened to walk in when she was doing this, so she left. Then we brought our luggage down to put into the car, and when we ran back up to grab the pizza that was in the fridge, she had taken it out and thrown it away. It was 3/4 of a pizza. And our receipt didn't reflect what they ended up charging us. We told them we had a dog, but our receipt showed $73. When we looked at our bank account the next day, they had charged us $83. When we called them up, the supervisor was rude and hung up up on us. I called her back and all she told us was "Sorry for that" along with the fact that the maid had barged into our room and threw away $26 worth of food. Don't stay at this hotel, it's in a terrible city in Wyoming, one of the worst known for drugs, etc. Stay somewhere else, even if you have to pay the extra $$.

They also charged my credit card without authorization. They also put us in a room that was already checked out to another customer and just told us to switch rooms. If I ever go back to Gillette I will never even think about staying at this horrible hotel there was food in the fridge from someone else there was also some kind of food on the wall. In the bathroom the sink and the shower did not drain so there was disgusting water in the sink when we got there. Do not stay at this hotel.

I've stayed here twice, and the only reason for that is bc when I visit my fiance while he works this is where his company puts him. The first time I reserved a room and asked for non smoking. I go to the room and the door was still open w/rags on the floor and smelled like smoke (and had ashtrays). I went back down and told the lady that and she said "No it didnt".! The ac was ancient and didnt work and half the lights didnt work. Now here I sit again, we checked in and asked for my fiances company rate and a queen bed, we say we only need one bed and get charged $89+ get to the room and we get 2 dbl beds. I check online and it said they still had rooms and the rate for 1 queen was $69. I just let it go but then this morning the internet was down. Both my comps brought up their main internet and said "this company's server is down" even though I told her that she says it must be my comp. Yeah both of them at the same time. The light sockets in the bathroom dont work, the towels and bathroom are grungy and I got bit by something 4 times last night. So I go down and ask if I can get a better rate bc I didnt get what I asked for and the internet not working all morning made me miss my class. The front desk lady copped the biggest attitude Ive seen, saying that I got 2 beds and that was the rate and she had already offered me a tech support # for the internet (that I had already called!
