Staff is extremely friendly, breakfast is amazing and the pool area is inviting!

Accidently left my JBL speaker there. Went back after an hour because I was certain it was there. Front desk "checked" and said it wasn't there. I found room service and got into the room myself because I wasn't buying it. Found it under the bed. It was NOT under the bed when I left the room. 100% positive. My guess is they put it there for the day then swipe it tomorrow when they assume I'm out of town.

Very dirty in places. Just walking barefoot in our room our feet got black. We were here for 4 days & not once did they vacuum. The employees smoke right outside the lobby instead of in the designated areas. The pool had no shower like they are supposed to. Using the toaster in the breakfast area took at least 5 minutes for toast & bagels because it would only cook on 1 side so you had to cook it twice. The area where the suites are has more than 2 floors but no elevator. Pretty sure they don't comply with ADA rules. 1 positive thing was we had booked a suite & it was on the third floor but my grandmother couldn't make it up all those flights so they did pleasantly help us finding 2 rooms that were close together on the ground floor.

We stayed here with a family Very nice clean comfy bed room Kids enjoyed swimming pool too, very close to down town, walking distance to all recreational parks! Bath tubs in bath rooms were’nt that neat but good enough for shower They made your bed the next morning g that’s wat every guest want it more Breakfast was good, though the lady in work in kitchen was super efficient, was acting fast that bothered us a little. She wasn’t that welcoming too specially if u check in for breakfast close to their closing hours!

Have been here twice and both times the floors were damp and nasty. This time the kids found a toothbrush holder, some hair ties, and a white pill my toddler preceded to chew up and thankfully spit out before I realized what was going on. Thank god it didn't affect him, but who knows what it was and what could have happened had it been something more serious! They REALLY need to have the rooms checked better before leaving it for the next guest! Otherwise the breakfast was the one thing that was really enjoyable. Good selection!

The lodge in general isn't too bad. We were surprised that the rooms didn't have a fridge or microwave, especially since we had bought some food to keep cool, but the staff was nice and found a way to help us out. Goodness House keeping was a little sub-par and forgot to even empty the garbage cans. The location was pretty great, just a couple miles from downtown. In general, it wasn't too bad, especially for being one of the cheapest options we could find in the area.

Rooms were very spacious and hotel is located near everything downtown. Rooms could be cleaner and needs some updating other wise was happy with the stay. Staff was very nice.

Value. A quick sleep before flying out in early am flight. Check in was smooth. Property was clean and quiet.

The staff was helpful and friendly. While the room seemed clean overall, the floors could use some serious cleaning. Our feet/socks were dirty just from walking around the room. Breakfast options included bagels, muffins, danishes, cereal, oatmeal, limited fruit, and a waffle station. The pool looked nice and was clean although we didn't have a chance to use it, but the hot tub was drained. It's nice that they allow pets, but the overall layout is kind of odd. The breakfast area isn't connected to the lobby and the only place to get ice is down the lobby hallway. Overall a nice stay for the low price.

Employees were very professional, courteous and helpful! Our room was very clean and tidy. Continental breakfast was nice with lots of variety. Great place to stay! We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked very clean and inviting. We are booked at Travel Lodge for or return home so maybe we will try the pool then.

Jared and Brianna at the front desk were extremely welcoming and professional. They took great care of my wife and me on our anniversary. 10/10 would recommend!

Breakfast was a joke and the manager Anna was clearly on Meth or somthing Definatly strung out on drugs and she reaked of alcohol like why is she the manager.

The rooms are small but clean. The breakfast is good. Great value for the price!

I’ve stayed here several times, winter, spring, summer & fall. Since all my trips were work related, all I really needed was a clean, comfortable room. I can sum up all of my experience into this statement: “Affordable, clean, comfortable room. ”

Place looked really nice but their advertisement that they accept cash is wrong. Spent 30 minutes trying to find another hotel at 2 am. They only accept credit/debit. And if you want to use cash anywhere near this location, prepare to make a down payment of $100 or $200 Location, overall, was beautiful. Very welcoming. Right by the lake. We were very excited to stay at this location but unfortunately this time we couldn't. Staff was friendly.

Price was great. Location great. Stairs up to room weren't logically located, Wi-Fi essentially was nonexistent, light switches in room weren't conveniently located. Wouldn't want to come in a night and have to rely on the outside light to find the closest switch. However, the allowed us to have our two Labradors with us. And I preferred to eat breakfast locally too. Restaurants are close and too good to pass up. Yes, I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Wonderful service. I stay every week for work. Staff is full of ballers shot callers. It's super liiiiiiiiiit every friggin week.

Thanks for the worst stay in a lifetime and finally showing my 69 year old dad what it feels to be a victim of ignorance! My parents were embarrassed, disrespected, were asked to leave the property and cops were called on them for requesting for a change of rooms. My parents visited your Travelodge property in Traverse City, MI with my aunt and uncle a couple of weeks ago and we had booked using Hotwire. When my dad saw from behind open curtains that there was a vacancy at a suite adjacent to my aunt and uncle, he went up to reception desk and asked if they could switch them from their assigned suite to a suite adjacent to our extended family. The reception desk clerk was an extremely rude lady who said she couldn't do that without even checking for vacancy. When my dad told her that he saw the vacant suite adjacent to my aunt-uncle's suite, he asked about checking again and when she refused, he asked her to at least check the system. She barked a loud refusal instead of providing an explanation on why she wasn't checking. My dad manages a Motel 6 and he asked her if she was new to the job and didn't know how to use the booking system, in which case asked if she could get some assistance and at least try to help them out. In a matter of these couple of exchanges, she asked my parents in front of my family to leave the property or she'd call the cops.

Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The only issue was with a shower that wouldn't shut off. Bathroom was pretty small, but the whole room was spacious and we appreciated the fridge.

Location was great and offered low rates for pet-friendly accommodations. With that said, you get what you pay for. We checked in at about 10:30pm to find our room had not yet been cleaned. We were moved to another room without issue. Check your receipts and check-out in person, we have yet to receive the discount from the dirty room mishap and our AAA discount. Also, the beds were super uncomfortable.

Room was clean, except the toilet seat that still had cleaner and a couple hairs on it. We tried to check in at 2p and we're told to come back at 4p because they weren't clean yet. They were telling everyone walking in the door at 4p that their room wasn't available and they were giving upgrades. When it was our turn, they told us our room wasn't available either but they were cleaning them still. Instead of giving us an upgrade for our inconvenience, they had us wait for them. But the woman next to us with the same kind of room was told she's getting an upgrade to a condo. When we asked if we could just get an upgrade, the staff said she didn't want to start over with our check in. Again, room was ok but staff very unorganized and insensitive.

Great price, pet friendly, and very nice rooms. Also a good location to get around and enjoy everything TC has to offer.

We arrived and were put in a room directly adjacent to the office. When we realized this we went back and politely asked to be put into a room further away, as it was late and we wanted to be away from the noise and guest arrival traffic, for sleeping purposes. We waited for about 10 minutes for the two employees to attempt to find us a different room. Once they finally did, we realized that they put us in literally the only other room that was directly adjacent to the office. This was extremely frustrating. So we went back once more and apologized but asked to please not be put right by the office. The gave us a room around the back and we were okay with that. Well, around 2:15AM we were woken up by at least five VERY LOUD, drunk men standing right outside our door yelling and talking to each other. I let it go at first but then again at 2:45AM it happened and the again around 4AM. All and all it was not a pleasant experience. Room and hotel location were okay.

Great place. Good rates and friendly staff. The breakfast was decent too. Will be back.

The location is great, close to downtown and lots of beaches. There rooms are clean and there pool is great.

It was pleasantly nice and affordable. They gave us the honeymoon discount. The breakfast was good and so was the Service.

The reason we stay there is because it was exceptionally cheap, clean, and located close to downtown. The bed was empty and the heater didn't work quite right but the price made up for it.

Poor management, basically non existent. Carpet stains in the room. Customer service is mediocre at best.

I've stayed here twice. One time in a room with the hottube, and the other time it there condos. They actually updated there rooms a bit. I've never had a probably staying here. There rooms where always clean. The breakfast selection isn't that great. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Stayed at the Traverse City Travelodge from 8-1 thru 8-4. Friendly staff just could not make up for the old and out dated facility — circa 1965. If you are used to other chain hotels and their amenities this hotel will leave you grossly disappointed. We had a king size bed room and the bed was so soft that it literally rolled you towards the middle. The bathroom is so small you have to decide if you want to walk in or back in to sit down. The continental breakfast served in the 'bear bites' room — just bites. Very poor selection and sadly it doesn't have to be. Ownership could get the frozen omelettes and a microwave for just about the same price as the waffle mix. The price was the deciding factor and once again you get what you pay for.

Service is great. A/C was barely cool. Mattress too soft. For $245.00 per night! No.

This hotel has allot of potential. The rooms are clean; however, the housekeeping staff was a disaster. 5 out of the 6 nights I stayed there I had to ask for towels, and they did not clean the room at all! Nothing was replenished such as coffee, cups, soap, and basic needs for the next day. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and nice. The girls who especially made our stay extra special were: Diana, Charity, and Marissa. These girls went out of their way for us! Thank you! The breakfast area was nice and the food was ok. Should consider offering bigger muffins instead of the tiny ones. My overall stay was good but disappointed in the small things that do make a difference when you are on vacation.

Rooms were kind of clean but mine have some smell. The bed is not the best but it is OK for the price, not a luxury stay. Old linens. Air conditioned worked well. However, the whole room needs improvements. Breakfast was a benefit. This hotel is pet friendly so take your measures. When we arrived, a dog from the room beside ours was barking to desperation. We switched but poor of those that take our room!. Staff was kind. They were a bit confused about our online reservation. Relatively close to downtown.
