Staff was friendly, checking in was a breeze. Booked on priceline, went inside, no issues. Took less than ten minutes. Arrived at room and to be honest it was so small for the price and the bed wasn't anything to write home about. Unfortunately, it is one of the only few pet friendly hotels in TC. Best Western was very clean, staff was great, and they offer a shuttle to downtown that you can take your dogs in! There are a lot of pros to this hotel, especially if you're looking to travel without driving your own vehicle. We had late check-out which was great so we could sleep in a bit, they have a dog run for your dogs. It's overall a good option and we would consider staying here again absolutely.

We had an overall great experience at the Best Western Plus! I typically try to stay downtown Traverse City to prevent trying to find a ride back and forth in/out of the city. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find the ease of using the shuttle provided by Best Western Plus. The driver was extremely nice, reliable, and able to provide transportation to all events during our stay. The rest of the staff was also very welcoming and provided exactly what we needed throughout our stay. We have already recommended this hotel to our friends and look forward to returning in the future! Thanks again!

Staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the bed. Very comfortable, cushy but———so high I had to jump and roll to get into it! Scary to someone in their 70’s! Please provide steps for those of us under 5’ 8”! Ultra thick mattresses are nice but… not at the risk of falls.

AWESOME Stay at this Hotel in Traverse City-Especially because we made great memories with our Dog Bella! Carrie Asst. Mgr. Was so good to our Bella and so very Friendly! 24/7 Coffee in Lobby-Tasty Hot Breakfast at 6AM in Lobby and fresh hot cookies at 6PM til they are gone! I felt safe taking my Dog out in the middle of the night. Great Staff here and would come again! Thank you soooooo much!

Update: If I had to describe this hotel in one word: Spectacular! It’s hard to figure out where to begin when sharing my experience with Best Western. This is our second year that we’ve stayed at this location and it will not be our last! From making reservations, calling to make adjustments, walking through the door and during our stay we received outstanding, over the top and genuine customer service. ALL of the staff is courteous, helpful, accommodating and kind-hearted! Just to name a few, Angela, Christy and the General Manager left a lasting impression. This year we got married and needed several rooms for guests and all of our guests were blown away by the cleanliness of the hotel, accommodations (the breakfast and shuttle) and the flexibility of the staff to be there when we needed them. They made all of us feel at home, offered suggestions and directions to local shops/restaurants and even welcomed our pups with open arms! I just want to say thank you for making our stay fun and amazing. We can’t wait to come back. Our friends/family are still raving about the service they received. Every employee is warm and friendly. The breakfast area is warm and inviting, it's the right size and I didn't feel weird going down there to eat like I have at other places in the past. Each person working there enjoys their job, even the woman who went around picking up plates was very kind. It was very clean for a hotel that's pet friendly. My room was gorgeous, even family members that stayed at the Cambria were checking it out and were a little jealous. Both my room and the lounge had my favorite colors (beach theme) ; teal and tan. I've stayed at other hotels but this hotel has stood out.

Top notch Best Western Plus! Best experience in a Best Western ever. Angela at the front desk was extremely friendly, personable, and more than accommodating, as was all the staff. The rooms were excellent — very comfortable, the bed and pillows were fabulous, beautifully decorated and always smelled good, not to mention their excellent prices! We will be visiting Traverse City every year around the same time and for sure we will be booking the Best Western Plus in Traverse City.

Wow! We called last minute and the lady at the front desk worked to accommodate our large family. When we got to our room we were blown away by the loft and spiral staircase (an upgrade) — kids were loving it! Slept great in very clean comfortable room and the breakfast had everything you could imagine. Judy was so attentive and sweet — pulled out a homemade bib and slipped in on the baby without skipping a beat — made the start of my 4 year old daughters birthday very special :) thank you!

If anyone is looking for a hotel in Traverse City, this hotel is top notch. The staff here are truly amazing and care about the traveler in every way. They remember you if you've stayed there before, they are very welcoming. We will definitely stay here again, in fact, already have another stay booked.

This hotel provided an economical option for 4 adults to share a room. Room had a loft with a second queen bed. Check in employee was extremely courtesy and helpful. Since true suite options are hard to find, will most likely stay at this property again when we venture north on our wine tasting adventures.

If you need a place to stay in Traverse City this is it. If you are traveling with your dog this is DEFINITELY the place. Clean, friendly, well managed and staffed. No disappointments or surprises here.

Great Hotel. We upgraded to the queen loft and it was great. The rooms are smaller, but difinatley work and have enough room. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel looks old/odd as you get there for the first time, but dont worry, it is worth the stay.

This is a very nice hotel, clean and nicely decorated. They are pet friendly and nicely located. What makes this Best Western stand out though is the amazing staff!

It was SUPER dry in our rooms. Maybe the furnace humidifier hadn’t been set since winter started. We woke with dry, irritated throats both mornings. Otherwise it was a great stay. The breakfast station was impeccably kept. Our coffees were continually warmed by the friendly staff. The fitness room was clean and had water and fresh towels. The pool was warm and the surrounding area was tidy and clean. The ladies at the front desk (Tracey and Christy) even helped us find a chauffeur for our wine tour! We felt very welcome.

To our surprise we loved our room. Very clean & great morning breakfast! The lady who sets it all up was very nice & helpful. Area was spotless!

One of the few hotels in the area that allow pets to stay in the room. Other hotels say "pet friendly" but they are not. Great staff and clean and modern décor. Central location. Also located next door to an excellent restaurant.

These people went out of their way to accommodate us. On Xmas morning they decorated our door knob with hand crafted bags filled with candies! Clean, warm rooms and lots of TV channels.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. Its very clean. The decor is very nice. The staff is super and genuinely nice. The breakfast was good for a hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for one night before the Iceman. The room was clean, up to date, and comfortable. They had a decent breakfast, although the eating area was a bit small. Not very many seats. I ended up bringing my breakfast back to my room because all the seats were taken. The pool area and fitness room looked nice although I didn't use them. Staff are friendly. Price was reasonable. This was my second stay here and I would stay here again.

A coworker and I were brought 518 miles away from home for 6 weeks to help open a new Costco building. The staff at our BW+ went above and beyond to make us feel at home, accommodated any requests we had, and made sure to spoil our greyhound puppy at every opportunity. Each and every staff member we interacted with was beyond helpful, courteous, and friendly. I also have to commend the house keeping crew, as they were faced with mountains of take out boxes and upon our return we walked into a perfectly clean, neat, and straight room. The highest quality service from top to bottom. I'm gonna miss those folks!

We were visiting Traverse City with our 7 month old Golden puppy, so we needed to find a place that would welcome her, but I was a bit leary that a hotel allowing pets might not be as clean as I would like and I was concerned about "odor" in the room from previous dogs. We arrived at the hotel, lobby area and hallway — clean; we checked into our room — clean and odor free! I can't say how happy I am that we found this place! We love visiting Traverse City, and we now have our new "go to" place so our dog can be included in our vacations. As for staff, everyone was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

Great Traverse City hotel! Staff has always been superior. Always willing to help me when I am in town with the perfect room and best rate. Breakfast is great! Many selections and always stocked and the breakfast area is very clean and neat. Coffee is my favourite. Will always check their availability before others.

First time trying this hotel. We usually do Hyatt or Hilton but my husband decided to try Best Western & I'm glad he did! Check in was quick & we were in our room to get some much needed rest in no time at all. Very clean & nice place to stay. I can't say one bad thing about this place! The breakfast was fantastic. The lovely lady setting up & cleaning up the area was very welcoming & the tasty food area was spotless & she was very helpful! Thanks for a great stay! We'll be back!

Angela at the front desk was very helpful. Also, it was our 25th anniversary and she had wine and chocolates brought to our room, what a great way to start the week. The staff was also very nice and helpful, they knew about all the restaurants downtown. They have a free shuttle service that drops you off downtown and picks you up when your ready. We really liked this. I would recommend this hotel whenever your in Traverse City.

Service by all departments was great. Breakfast was good in taste and selection, especially being complimentary. All other areas were clean and we enjoyed the indoor pool. The pool has several depths and we liked how the sides curved up as it felt safer that way. There is a shuttle bus to take you to down town area. It runs every half hour. Nice stay and the bed didn't hurt my bad back, so that is a plus!

Very pleased with our stay during the cherry festival. Recently extensively remodeled. Manager seems to be very particular with maintaining the property to a high standard. Maintenance was touching up paint on baseboards. The breakfast was very good, the front desk very helpful, the room was quiet. I'd stay here again.

Loved the look and the staff members. The guy working the counter in the A. M. Was probably the most helpful staff member I've ever experienced. He really helped me turn around my trip, back into a fun trip to Traverse City. Thanks kind stranger. Edit: staff member actually promised me a major discount on my room that never came through. Was truly blown away by this Best Western. I'm used to staying in "nicer" hotel brands when I travel with work — — but I'll be staying at this remodeled property again on future stays to TC. A major highlight (other than the rooms) is the free shuttle to downtown!

This is our second time staying staying here. Love the location and staff are great. This time around we havent had the best experience with staff but the hotel is clean.

Great staff and friendly service, the whole place was just redone and felt very new. Great breakfast! The pool was open 24hours a day, but no hot tub.

The room was incredible for the price! My little brother loved the added touch of the spiral staircase leading up to his bed. The bathroom was way too small for a family of four, but overall the room worked well for an overnight stay.

We loved that they allowed dogs. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Excellent service, pool temp was great, and they have an awesome full breakfast. Rooms were clean and quite nice.

I am currently staying here and love it. I stayed at a hotel up the street and found a huge bug in my room so I immediately came to best western. The room was big and comfy. I love how modern it is and CLEAN! Aside from that I am here on business and have my dogs with me they allowed my pets to stay in the room with me with no outrageous fees and complications. I called other places and even though I have a dog crate with me so the dogs would not be lose in the room they still told me I was never to leave them unattended. Best Western understands that I may leave to go eat and are more than willing to work with me. They have been more than wonderful the staff is excellent. I also appreciated the phone call I got to make sure my room was as I wanted it. They have went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and relaxing. I will stay here again for sure and highly recommend it. I wish they did extended stays too so I could stay somewhere comfortable until I move up here. But either way it is an excellent hotel.

Good breakfast, cramped room (single queen), view of fence out window and door located in big (read busy during the summer) hallway. All even rooms 106 to 112 seen to be similarly situated.

Enjoyed our stay here very much! The staff was more than accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and we had plenty of room! The fridge was a little loud but, we will definitely be returning to stay here.

Very accommodating staff! They treated us wonderful. Very attentive to any requests. Room was very clean. Beds were comfortable and upon request, they will even bring you free breakfast in the morning right to your room. Very pleased with this hotel. We will definitely be coming back.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms anywhere that were previously smoking rooms will always smell a little. I always bring air freshener with me to any hotel so it smells how I prefer. The staff has been very helpful and nice. The pool was always clean.

Not worth the price we stayed during cherry festival and it was 300 a night I was expecting so much more for 300 dollars. I got a hotel room for 60 dollars that was soo much better then this before. The rooms were small and smelled like an ashtray. More of a motel atmosphere then hotel. Staff seemed friendly though.
