Convenient to the airport and the highway but not the best Hampton Inn I've stayed in. The window unit is extremely loud, but the airport is actually pretty quite. The water pressure in the shower is amazing and the rooms are all a nice size. My room had a funky smell and the carpet seemed damp in places.

This was a really nice hotel. Better, in fact, than most Hampton inns. Right next to the airport and also near restaurants, this property is very well placed.

Employees were very attentive and pleasant. Room was very clean, nicely appointed, and comfortable. Requested "Handicapped Accessible" room. Had to walk quite a distance to get to our room. Would be nice if room was closer to front desk area.

Attended an event in the meeting room. Catered by Theo & Stacy's. Delicious and wonderful.

Commensurate with rate. Very clean. Helpful staff. Very, very bad morning coffee. Conard Hilton would have turned over in his grave 70 times over.

Breakfast was awesome (and free)! Rooms were clean and quiet. I will definitely stay here on my next business trip to Kzoo.

Typical Hampton Inn, as far as the building. This one is a little newer than most. Recently stayed here and didn't have any luggage due to airline goof. Zeus at the front desk took excellent care of me and provided me with all the essentials. Excellent service and friendly staff.

Clean rooms and overall nice facility. Nothing special but friendly staff and easy access to the airport, highway and plenty of food options.

3rd time staying here and it's easily the nicest hotel in Kalamazoo. I've learned my lesson (at the Town Place Suites here) and won't stay anywhere else during my business trips to the area.

Great hotel. Pool was perfect temperature. Room was huge, clean, and being that this was built in 2014, very up to date. Only issue we had was when patrons were eating breakfast (quite a large group, in fact), we had the breakfast area shut down (before the 10am closing time), right in front of our faces. The doors were literally closing with some still inside. The employee could have been less rude about the way she closed up, and maybe warned the patrons instead of having a nasty attitude, shutting off everything, even the juice machine, before it was time. Ending a great overnight stay with a disgruntled employee's nasty attitude is not a way to keep people coming back to a great hotel.

Clean, recent and functional structure. Rooms spacious, staff courteous and helpful. It doesn't have an in-house restaurant, but about 200 meters away is a great American restaurant.

This Hampton is literally at the entrance to the airport. Same driveway same entrance. The rooms are nice and newer for a Hampton. The staff is average for a Hampton. Cold coffee in the lobby in the afternoon and no perks. No cookies, water bottles and the fruit bowl is apple saddness. We have a better stays at Home Wood Suites.

The rooms and staff are great! I am very picky about hotels and this one exceeded my expectations. Our stay was a rather long one due to a family emergency and I felt like I got to know the staff. My son misses the hot cocoa and I miss the tea in the lobby, as well as the smiling faces of everyone employed there! The breakfast is great. I loved the hospitality of everyone — Becky, Zeus and Jalonda — just to name a few!

Nice, clean, quiet, spacious rooms. Even though it's next to the airport, it's a small airport so airplane noise isn't an issue. Convenient to I-94

What a great stay! Thanks! I came to town for training for my work. I don’t have a clue about Kalamazoo! However, Zeus did! What an asset to your business! Zeus made short work of two or three issues that came up in my stay. Things that were simple fixes to make my visit easy and pleasant. Zeus also has a knowledge of the area that came in real handy for a four day stay. He is a good face for your hotel! I would definitely stay at your location again and I would also recommend it to others!

Overall clean but I just happened to be the unlucky one. Stayed there for 2 days last week and I ended up with ton of bug bites. I saw a bug on the bed on my first day and it was a tiny one. I got rid of it but never thought it would have it's family living in that bed. Now I have itchy… I mean terrible itchy bug bites all over both my arms, shoulders, behind my neck and upper back. Talked to my doctor and it seems there is a shot you can get to make it not itch. Room 328. Stay away. There's a Crowne plaza opposite to this hotel. If location is your priority. Why take risk?

Great location if you're flying in and out of AZO! Friendly Staff, clean rooms. Solid Hampton Inn all around.

Rooms are nice! Great value! Always stay at Hilton chain, 1 star because there was no breakfast to speak of and no one in kitchen to replenish at 9:05am.

At the airport. Don't need a car if you travel with colleagues or friends. Kalamazoo is a nice little town too.

Everything was very nice, and not at all outdated. Plus there was not chocolate. Ours friends rooms roof leaked, but the staff quickly accommodated, and it was due to the VERY heavy rain.

This was an excellent hotel. We stayed here in July with a very large group from our travel soccer team. It was not only convenient for our tournament about 15 min. Away, with dowtown Kalamazoo only 10 min. Away, but more importantly the staff and service were outstanding! The Front Desk Mgr. Katlyn was super to our team and all the parent's. I know it is not easy to coral a bunch of 13 year old girls, especially on a Sat. Night, but they went above and beyond to make sure the team was taken care of by hosting a movie night in the hotel with popcorn and setting up the common area to allow the girls to be comfortable and have some relaxing time together. Thank you to everyone at Hampton Inn for making our weekend a fun and relaxing time!

The staff here we're very nice. The hotel and rooms were well kept. Our room had a sliding door that could either slide left and close the closet or slide right and close the bathroom, but not both at the same time. That would be fine, except it had no lock on the bathroom side. It made the bathroom look like another closet, and you couldn't stop people from 'looking in the closet' when you were in the bathroom. The breakfast was nice. The eggs were the same rubbery microwaved eggs that all Hampton Inns have, but the fruit was particularly fresh and toppings for the waffles we're more varied. (My kids say thanks for that). The lost stars are for one thing that spooked me about the levels of hidden cleanliness. When I checked in I went to get hot water for tea and the water came out Brown and smelling of coffee. It was obvious the urn had been used for coffee last, and was not even rinsed out when it was refilled and set out as hot water. Then the same thing happened at a different hot water urn at breakfast the next morning. (I have pictures of the brown water next to clear water. I'm not imagining it. ) It really made me question the kitchen cleanliness practices. Not sure I'll come back.

I loved the layout and the fact that each room had a picture of something by the room number. Everything looked tidy and clean.

They gave away the room we reserved after we had checked in online the day before. We had a different room for the first night then had to move the next morning into the room we reserved. Staff not very knowledgeable of own facility. We stay a Hampton's all the time. We will definately find a different one next time.

This is an outstanding hotel. We used it for the guests and wedding party as my niece, Amanda, was married at the Beacon Club in December. Roberto and Katy were fabulous in meeting all of our needs. Every guest commented on how great the hotel is as well as the staff who were very helpful and efficient. They loved the breakfast, the cool fitness center, and the ability to sit in the reception area and just enjoy talking to people they had not seen in a while and came together for the wedding. Thanks for a great time and experience. We would highly recommend staying here as the service, rooms, and atmosphere is the best!

Better place than I been! The hotel looks new inside and out! The room is big with new furniture! The bathroom clean and new! The place is so good I'll have that be me again!

Hampton Inn Kalamazoo is great! The hotel is clean and my room is very modern and comfortable. The staff are also very friendly.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The complementary Wi-Fi was stable (Yay! ) and the premises were very clean and well kept. The arrangement of the bathroom door was odd, and it didn't really close very well. Additionally the room door had a large gap under it that made for a noisy stay. Still, the cleanliness, friendliness, and comfortable beds made for a very reasonable single night business accommodation.

I've stayed in a variety of Hampton Inns and this one was pretty good!

This hotel is brand new, meaning newly built, not remodeled. All the rooms are very nice, very decent and modern decor, from what I can tell all rooms have refrigerators, the pool is very handicap friendly and the staff is very professional. I will definitely stay again. A lil pricy due to being right across from the airport but worth it.

Very clean and new. Probably renovated recently.
