Very very clean! I’m a truck driver so a clean hotel is hard to find. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff, very clean. During this pandemic they will not enter the room until check out. Room very comfy.

Had a wonderful stay on 11/11/19. Greeted & checked in by new Hotel Manager. Older, but nice room.
Returned on 11/16 after vacationing in the West & had been in airports all day to get back to GR. IHG member & notes on reservation state this & again when we left on 11/12/19, we stayed our late night arrival & our Anniversary. Ashley checked us in. No welcome & no mention of being IHG member. I asked if restaurant was still serving food as we were in airports all day. She said limited menu after midnight. Perfect. She asked what floor we wanted & I said the easiest because we were tired & hungry after having just gotten off plane. Just wanted to eat & relax. She checked us into room 152. It was awful. Just awful. My husband had gotten bell cart & brought in our luggage. I walked into room & called Front Desk
& spoke to Ashley. Hotel parking lot was very empty, so there was no shortage of rooms & it was my hopes she would understand we were just happy to be there but she put us in what I Hope was the most worn out room in the hotel, but why? She said it was the easiest room to get to but that wasn’t true because there were many tight corners to maneuver w/bell cart. I reminded her we had just been at the hotel the week before, on the 4th floor & it was super quick. She apologized & offered to move us. Too worn out. Didn’t order any food, didn’t go to restaurant. Got up the next morning & left the hotel after brushing our teeth.

This affordable hotel has a decent location but the staff, furnishing, and aesthetic are very amicable. The beds and chairs are very comfortable, the bathroom is interestingly designed, however, all the doors need to be replaced and fixed. The bathroom door takes the strength of 1000 suns to open and close all the way and the key card only works on the exterior doors 19% of the time.

Arrived and nobody was at the front desk Understaffed? Nice building, nice layout hallways are nice, but doesn't seem to have ventilation. For $150 leaves much to be desired. Carpet was very dirty in the room and TV is small and outdated. Beds looked to made by a child. The "Grill29"… food was NOT good. Wings were fat and nasty, overly salty as were the fries. Beer was warm. Staff was friendly. Bar had TVs and played the games. Bartender was very caring and provided good attention to the guests. Other than that the place was nice. Kids seemed to enjoy the indoor pool, gym, and conference rooms. Nice lounge. There is also a very nice outdoor, covered seating area (outdoor lounge). So much potential there… upgrading needed. I stayed at this comfortable and accessible place while on a business trip. Room was clean, well maintained, and the restaurant on the first floor offered good quality reasonably priced food and the bar was a big plus after a long day of work at the lab! There's a fun Filipino lady who runs the bar that has a lot lot of character and spirit.

Rooms were very nice with modern updates. The location is great to the airport but a bit of the main highway. Overall a great place to stay for day trips to the surrounding areas.

Not that impressed for an average of 250.00 a night. No sign of bed bugs. The staff were all very nice. That is why it reached a 3 star rating. The refrigerator had not been cleaned, there was a crack in the ceiling that was taped over and painted, the is only a shower … no tub … but the water never drains out of the walk in shower, and no even came to our room until the second day to check towels or the floor mats. The view from our window… a gigantic a/c unit. I took pics but what good would it do… the company doesn't care and we really didn't have much choice as we needed some place to stay.

Nice clean rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. The bar scene is great for winding down and meeting some interesting people.

Reasonable for price. Restaurant reasonable. Good staff. Clean rooms. Has conference center.

Not sure what is going on here but have to say it wasn't up to the standards that this hotel usually has. The room was dirty (bathroom, found sock in the bed). Was pretty disappointed. Everything else has been fantastic though.

Great experience, very conveniently located to airport. Room was A+, very clean, comfy/fluffy bed. Amazing shower (was basically more like shower room) Friendly & helpful front desk. They have shuttle from airport. Shuttle wasn’t available for me, so they paid my cab fare. Nice inside pool. Onsite restaurant (with bar type food. Nachos, Philly CS, etc) and bar open 4pm-11pm. Breakfast buffet offered in AM. Very good experience!

Below average. Way overpriced for what you get. Elevator was out of service. I put 'No Housekeeping' tag on my door but they still did it. Weird part was that they had 'organized' my stuff and folded my pajamas… odd. The next day, I put the tag again on my door, called down to the desk, AND left a personal note making sure it didn't happen again. However, when I got back it was obvious that they had been there and switched out towels/cups/misc before they found my note. Very loud with paper thin walls. Stains on chair in room. TV smaller than average. Waited in long line to check in. Room service from Grille 29 was gross and over priced: basically frozen food reheated. The kicker was that the fire alarm went off at 545 am. I know it isn't their fault but it did seem like a fitting way to end my trip.

Was there for a birthday party. Everything was clean and set up very nicely. However my exposure to the facility and services was very limited.

Good set up for family get aways but no continental breakfast… However I would recommend vacuuming. Otherwise it way ok.

One of the nicer Holiday Inns to stay at. Close to the airport, clean rooms, many amenities, and nearby many microbreweries that are part of the Beer City program. Will definitely be back in the future!

Very disappointed in my stay at this holiday inn. We arrived at this location at about 7:00 pm and they did not have a room ready for us, they did give My husband and myself each a drink voucher. After checking on the room status twice they finally said there was a room available at about 9:30 pm. We were placed on the first floor. Between the uncomfortable bed and the paper thin walls/ceiling do not plan on getting a good nights sleep! The only positives was the in house bar, the cleanliness and the bartender frank who ran a full bar by himself and was super nice and courteous!

We made a block for our wedding. There was supposed to be a discounted rate and after every 10 rooms one room was to be free. Our guests called us multiple times to tell us the block was not available. I called to make our reservation and they couldn't "find" the block. I had to call the sales representative to find our block. Unprofessional and disorganized.

I've stayed at this hotel two times and had a great experience each time. Super clean with pleasant staff! About a 15 min drive to downtown from here.

Very helpful and professional staff. I had a comfortable and clean room. The breakfast buffet was well kept and has adequate room for guests. I had a nice three day stay.

Hands down, this is probably one of the best Holiday Inns I have stayed at. It’s very sharp, clean, and modern looking. It’s very well lighted and the rooms are spacious. The hotel staff are also very nice and helpful. So, it’s highly recommended!

Many things aren't available that is there which makes it hard to pick what you want. Should have sold on those items. Do like the prices but need the availability too.

The location just off 28th Street was fantastic, close too lots of stores and and places to eat. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, room was nice and clean. Rooms aren't very big but being that we didn't spend much time in the room that wasn't much of an issue for this trip. Only thing keeping it from being 5 stars was the lack of complimentary breakfast.

Ac/heat wouldn't stop running. Woke up to a room at 59° one morning. Also, the shower wasn't pitched well and gathered water, which, in a 59° room got cold real fast. The bed was decent and the hotel was in a convenient location.

Very short stay, but the staff was very nice in this clean hotel. Beds were quite comfortable. Only complaint was no continental breakfast.

Price was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was extra, but there was free coffee and tea in the room.

This hotel is clean an conveniently located to major attractions and shopping. The staff is courteous and friendly. During our stay, staff members were helpful and reached out to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. KIDS under 12 eat free. The food was good. The pool is nice. It also had a exercise room. The spa tub has been closed at this location. Room service was great!

I will give this place a better rating than one star because the staff is friendly. The room was decent, although there was hair in the shower and on bathroom sink, which is disgusting and just adds to my irritation. My biggest complaint — I left a shirt hanging in the closet and realized this after we had already left. We were too far into our trip back home to turn back, so I immediately called the hotel. However they did very little to help me. I have called back three times, and while friendly, not a single person offered to actually go to housekeeping and see if my shirt was turned in. I'm guessing because they know someone from their staff took it. I was even told by one front desk member that no one else stayed in the room the following night, so clearly it was someone that works there. I understand this was my fault for leaving my shirt hanging up, but this is a hotel and I'm sure I am not the first person to accidentally leave an item. If this is how they treat their "valued" customers, by taking their stuff that is left and then claiming they can't find it, I promise I will never come back. So many other place treat their customers better than this.

Nice, clean room. Friendly staff. No complaints. If you are getting the shuttle from the airport make sure you call them though. They don't do scheduled runs. Didn't know that and sat there waiting for a shuttle like dummy. That's my fault though. Just a heads up.

I booked our room in the car on the way to Grand Rapids. "David" was the desk person and he was friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and the air conditioner worked well. Didn't give it a 5 star just because there wasn't a menu for lunch or dinner for the on site restaurant and it was ok eating I n the bar but made the bar girl really hav to run. Definitely would stay again.

Stayed 4 nights for a work trip. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Close enough to grocery stores and restaurants for quick runs to get food for the fridge or a meal. Close to highways but not on top of them. Breakfast was a plus for sure.

Really like the layout of the king size room. Separate sitting area with pull out couch and sleeping area with bed. / small kitchen and bathroom. Pool was out of commission while we were here. Very clean friendly staff. Breakfast was okay. Gravy with no biscuits.

Clean, room appear to have been newly updated. Convenient access to lots of dining and shopping options. Highly recommended.

Hotel is convenient for staying near the airport and is relatively close to restaurants, entertainment, etc. The shuttle service was quick with pickups and transportation. The staff is very nice and helpful and the amenities are mostly up to date. The only issues I had during my stay were the noise insulation in the room (could hear people walking around above me) and the sinking middle of the bed.

Very nice! Breakfast should've been restocked because it was empty. Wish there was bathtubs instead of stand up showers.

Great service. Great room. Hot tub was very dirty and prevented me from getting in. The staff explained it received a lot of use the previous day and that someone was going to clean it within an hour. I didn't have an hour before I had to leave.

Wonderful hotel and folks although there are a few things in the rooms that are not working. Looking like they have great plans for the construction!

Newly renovated rooms are modern, comfortable, and nice overall. They were under construction when I visited so there were some tarps in the hallway, but other than that it wasn't an inconvenience at all.

Stayed here for one night in February 2016. They were renovating so it was a little messy, understandable. Front desk people were friendly. Bar Lady and the Cook were also friendly. Would stay here again without question.

We only stayed one night. The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. The room was huge (we had a single king bed room) great location. Easy to find and close to the freeway.

Clean, newer building with a nicely appointed room. Best features include a 12pm check out time, in-room refrigerator, and location near, but not on, a main road. Easy access to all freeways, attractions, and plentiful shopping/restaurants. They do not offer a complimentary breakfast, but you can order room service if needed. There are plenty of breakfast options nearby. Will return when visiting Grand Rapids again!
