Knights Inn Grand Rapids East Airport Inn

I wouldn't dare come back here. I stayed up all night thinking a bed bug was going to bite me. Thankfully there weren't any but the rooms were nasty. Dust a inch thick. Carpet was gross. They need to burn it down and start over. If it wasn't so late I would have found somewhere else to stay. Checked out that morning.

They are great love the prices. And they have a new pool! It was nice to get my freak on here.

I was somewhat disappointed! Most Knights Inns that I have stayed are pretty nice. This particular Knights Inn is proof that you get what you pay for. It DOES NOT look like the pictures. The rooms are small and in need of some serious updating! Customer service was okay… I had to obtain clean pillowcases when inspecting my room cause of stains I found on them. Also, the blankets had holes in them from age I guess. The only good thing about staying at this particular location is just that… LOCATION. It's surrounded by shopping and great restaurants. Also the GR Airport is nearby. My opinion… It's not good for more than an overnight stay. .

Staff was really nice n helpful. There's a couple shady people that stay there sometimes but there CCTV and a well lit parking lot. Decent beds bunch of pillows. I'd stay again.

HELL NO! The first thing to welcome you here are cockroaches! Infested with cockroaches. Ghetto, dirty, and unsanitary. Would not recommend to even my worst enemy. Ideal for drug dealers and hookers. Pass!

You get what you pay for. Rooms were fairly clean but hotel was run down. I could be wrong but it seemed like some rooms were used for low income housing. Saw a few plants in windows.

This is NOT a place I will be patronizing again. I mean you really get what you pay for. The room was dirty, floors hadn't been swept. The cable was super fuzzy in my room and I had kids with me. The beds need to be updated and so does the furniture. And last but not least, you can't use the refrigerator, microwave, and TV at the same time.

Service was fine, the room was clean and comfortable. Hallways couldn't been cleaned and sprayed more. Packing lot was a hassle as well.

A non smoking room definitely had smokers in it, there were burn holes in shower curtain and the smell was strong. Needs a deep clean especially the floors. The shower was nice.

Rooms are nice but need serious remodeling and cleaning. Lots of weird patrons walking around. Weekend are loud and busy. Not recommend for kids. Needs better security and locking doors. Need serious Remodeling and care.

The first room I was given smelled completely of smoke and so did the hallway. The second room I was given was even worse, the hallway smelled of marijuana and smoke, plus the key wouldn't even open the door. I did not like this kind of service for the price I paid, I got a refund right away and sought better service elsewhere. Not pleased one bit, I did not like the management that ran that location either. Teller was very rude with my refund.

Very unsatisfied with room booked a room & checked the room out it was blood stains trails of blood leading from the bed to the bathroom very gross. Went back to the front desk the guy that helped me was obviously high off something. I tried to explain what I witnessed in the room he provided me with his thought I was lying. I told him I needed another room or my money back he provided me with another room. I was nervous even staying there cause drunk people were standing out side harassing people. Makes me wonder if this place was safe & What type of drug activity goes on there. I had 2 small children with me. Will never stay here ever again.

You get what you pay for. Simple, no frills, place to lay your head. The bed in my room was in need of replacing (the springs were very squeaky and a bit uncomfortable). It was clean and secure.

This place needs a lot of work. I was with a friend so it was ok. This place is definitely not a family place. It is dirty, creepy and seedy. I will say that the person who worked the office was excellent. She was very professional and personable. However, that did not even begin to make up for everything else that was sup par.

I stayed their for 2 weeks and it was the worst motel I ever been to. The staff is rude, the room is small. Their is no Wi-Fi the only way to use the microwave is if you unpluggeither the TV or the fridge. The heat cuts off and on unless you have it up to 80 then it stays on the a/c stays on at any temp. The toilet doesn't completely flush water drips from the shower at all hours of the night. Their is roaches and other bugs. Cob webs around the lighting figtures. The was thing is that people actually have kids they are raising in these small rooms.

Theres no smoking in the entire hotel and the hall ways and stairways stink bad like dirty mop water that has been left sitting all night. Theres trash by the exit door to the parking lot not by the exit to the dumpsters. The shower has chunks of plaster missing from it when you turn the ac unit to heat it smells like something is burning and the other guests are questionable.

Towels are horrible, room was dirty when we checked in (beds were made but inside of microwace and fridge were sorta dirty), ac barely works, everything in the room was unpluged, Wi-Fi is shotty, no coffe untill after 7am, no food for purchase or any sort of advertisement materal for local business. All in all I would only stay here if I couldnt find another place. Only positive thing I can really say is the beds were comfortable.

This is a place that rents to homeless by the week. There was a violent fight in the hallway all night. We were waiting for the gunshots to go off. Even though it was right around the corner from the office, they acted like they didn't hear it. They provide NOTHING for guests — no cups (plastic or otherwise), no shampoo, etc. The sheets are like cheese cloth or your great grandmother's worn out sheets. Stay here at your own peril.

I would have given this place a — 5 if allowed. When I first arrived, I noticed that the pool was not open (mid July) checking in was difficult because It was later and everything was locked down and I had to talk through the security glass. With it being 11:30pm I was stuck there with my 13 year old. The place stunk and it was filthy and the carpet was greasy. We slept on top of the blankets with our shoes on. I was booked for 4 nights but checked out at 6am the next morning. Do not stay here… It need to be torn down! Wish I read the reviews first! almost forgot… the towels were so old and worn that they were see through and had holes!

Locating is perfect as you are close to everything. Service was good. Rooms furniture and appliances may be contemporary, however the rooms and bathrooms are not clean, nor contemporary at all. I had to call up the front desk to clean the shower which was riddled with pubic hair. Which is a medium sized standing shower. Thankfully the bed linens were clean because the mattress was not (questionable stains). Unfortunately, I will not be staying here again.

The carpet, sink and toilet were very dirty. Needing seemed clean. No coffee pot in the room. No coffee to be found anywhere. No elevator and our room was on the second floor.

This was the worst hotel. The bathroom was not cleaned at all. The shower was full of hair. No locks on the bathroom. Our floors were never vacuumed. The top blankets are recycled for each guest. Full of junkies. Pool area is a plus. Bed was broken in the middle. Never again.

Night mare. Dirty, parking lot littered, our refrigerator door wouldn't close, smokers just outside entry door. Got the creeps staying there. Never again. One star is overrating.

This place should be shut down. My wife and I were welcomed with the smell of pot and a woman crying in the hallway. Men were yelling and the room was nastsy.

The room was relatively clean but no lock on the bathroom door and the bathroom door appeared to have seen better days. Very cheap and we were looking for a place to sleep and it sufficed.

Rude people to deal with and dirty dirty rooms! Wouldn't even give it a single star!

The room was clean and tidy. Generally quiet. You get what you pay for.

Price was cheap but not a good place to stay at all.

DEN FOR DRUGS, PROSTITUTION, HUMAN TRAFFICKING, AND FELONS! After walking out of this hotel, we spoke to a former state trooper who said this hotel is well-known for harboring newly released felons and has been suspected of harboring a variety of other unsavory characters as listed above. When we pulled up, there are warnings every 5 feet that the hotel is not responsible for destroyed or stolen property, and we found out why. There were people eating out of the dumpster that looked like new immigrants (our suspicion was human trafficking). When we were checking into our non-smoking room, a woman that looked like a prostitute tried to get a room, but she was so heavily under the influence that she could not get through the door without shutting her clothing in the door. When we arrived at the room, it reeked so strongly of marijuana (supposed to be a non-smoking room) that it made me sick to my stomach. The bedding was so stained that it looked unwashed, and there were holes in the blankets. The walls were dented and paint-chipped like someone had thrown things at them. From our room and throughout the halls, you could hear enraged men in various rooms yelling obscenities and derogatory slurs. The locks are flimsy and there is no safe in the hotel. I was so afraid of the clientele and afraid for my health that I could not stop shaking. We immediately turned around and asked for our reservation to be cancelled and for our money to be returned.

This place is horrible nothing but a crack hooker infested nightmare. Me and my family were rudely awaken at 3. Am by Kentwood police knocking on our door and asking us for our i. D like we live in Nazi Germany. I will never stay there again and I hope no one else does either they advertise as a nice place because they have a pool but believe me it is truly a nightmare especially being woken up in the middle of the night by the police and being detained while they check our names to see if we have any warrants and scarring our two young ones… STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY!
