Review of Budgetel Inn & Suites Hotel 2*

Here are just a FEW FACTS about this dump: 1. Not a real safe or clean place to stay. 2. Bedbugs in rooms which managers refer to as bb's so most people staying here don't know what they are talking about. 3. Big roach problem in rooms. 4. Mice infestation. I killed mice in hallway by rooms. 5. A couple pedofiles work here. 6. Prostitution. 7. Drug dealing. 8. A haven for drug addicts. 9. Tweakers running around place. I was asked while in my military field jacket with insignias & stripes on it if I knew where one of their addicts could buy some crack. 10. Slightly unstable male manager according to a couple law enforcement officers I talked to. 11. Black mold. 12. Dirty rooms. 13. Owners who really don't care about the tenants but only the money they make. 14. Alot of shady people & activities. 15. A motel the city would like to see closed. (As well as two other motel in Grand Rapids owned by the same family) 16. Not a place to go unless you are homeless or like some tenants here have no other options left. 17. Activity FROM THIS MOTEL going out into the community makes the area bad. 18. It is bad enough where I had police officers tell me not to give this motel anymore of my money because THEY DON'T DESERVE IT. 19. Several people who stay here have mental issues so this is where they are put. The two other foul motels owned by the Yaldo family are 1. Grand Rapids Inn 250 28th Street (number of pedofiles call this home. Some put here by michigan dept. Of corrections. They stay on back side of motel. Budgetel has several in there motel as well. ) 2. America's Best Value Inn & Suites on Alpine & 3 Mile near the highway. This one made the news due to all the criminal activity from this motel spilling out into the community calling for area residents & business to call for this motel to be closed. Owners of Budgetel, Grand Rapids Inn, & America's Best Value Inn & Suites are poor business men & quite dishonest. I. E. If your room has bedbugs even before you move in they blame you for bringing them with you when truth be told bedbugs have been a problem for years. It's owners don't want to deal with problems so they blame the tenants. What a cop out. This motel has been bad for many years & will never change. 1 or 2 star (bad reviews are by far the most truthful). Alot of the good reviews are bogus where management will sweet talk some tenants to post a lie so the motel rating will go up so they can lure people in who don't realize what really goes on here just to make money. Oh I forgot to mention the ballbats & gun within front desk management talks about. So how safe can a place like this be. NOT! Do yourself a favor & take you money elsewhere unless you like dirty rooms, bugs, rodents, & alot of drama. Not all offenders are labled pedofile but many here are. Worst motels in Grand Rapids (Budgetel Inn & Suites. Grand Rapids Inn. My foxhole in the military was cleaner than this motel. I've never seen worse than this motel. Read other review where tenant woke up to a mouse in his bed & they call this a nice clean motel, maybe for bums compared to their life on the streets. You can tell there is prostitution going on with several vending machines stocked with condoms & where there is prostitution there is drug activity. The two always go together. So this causes extra drama. Remember the 1 star (bad reviews) are 100% more truthful. With people convicted of sex crimes (pedofiles) both living & working here how is it safe? DEFINITELY NOT KID FRIENDLY. Watch your kids. Another lie from owner we weren't even there a year let alone almost 2 years so LOL HAHAHAHA on the ignorant owner & male manager. They sure love to lie on their responses to reviews. Whenever owner responses to a review that they have the wrong motel this is a lie. Read all the other reviews that talk about roaches, bedbugs, & rodents & u will see the owner is a liar. Where owner says in his response it couldn't have been that bad with 6 other hotels in the area he knows all these hotels have the same problems as Budgetel. Bad.
