I have had such an amazing experience from Valet to front Desk to Housekeeping. All were very accommodating and overall super friendly.

This place is sexy! Great staff very attentive! 🥰🥰🥰 Awesome view over downtown Detroit!

The most comfy sleeping quarters! Close walking distance for fun things to do such as restaurants and bars, Cobo hall and much more! Starbucks in the lobby! the only place I like to stay while visiting The D ❤️

Paid $450 for a premium city view suite, supposedly their best room, and was put on 9th floor without much of a view. Room was outdated and (slightly) dirty. No plugs next to beds unless you moved the nightstand, no USB ports. Light switches did not turn on the lights. Shampoo/conditioner were not replaced from previous guest, and couch that was listed as a pullout was in fact not a pullout, so the listing of “sleeps 4” was incorrect. We had two use an air mattress for our 2nd teenage child. Valet was unreachable to call in advance, front desk was often unreachable for extra towels, etc, and bar service at night had 30+ minute waits for a drink due to being obviously understaffed (not their fault). Overall I’d say 2 out of 5 stars. Has the potential to be a lovely place but when you drop that much on a room you should expect a little more than service levels of a $120/night hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, staff is very friendly, room was clean and beds comfortable. The kids would say the pool is the best part but all of it made for a great stay!

We stayed here for the Lions & Ravens game. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff & we loved the view from the 22nd floor. The added bonus was the 2nd television in the room. We would recommend this hotel.

It’s my third time staying here. Always had a good overall experience except last night. There was an alarm on 12th floor that woke us up at 4:45am. Neighbor rooms also looked in hallway. No clue. I spoke with front desk and they were clueless to what might have happened the following morning. I was supposed to get a callback from them but nothing. I’ll be calling Visa tomorrow to correct my charges. Bottom line, nice hotel

Our last experience the front desk receptionist Cassandra went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated for an inconvenience when checking in. Things go wrong sometimes but the way it’s handled is always what makes the difference! Thank you for another great stay!

The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit is in a convenient location downtown. The hotel is very nice & beautiful inside. The staff is very professional & accommodating. Their restaurant / bar, 24 Grille is Awesome, I highly recommend.

First 2 days for us were great, until 98% of the staff went on strike on our 3rd day closing down the majority of the services. We were staying on the Executive Floor, (23rd) and were awoken by loud drums on Sunday (and Monday) morning with picketers out front with bull horns shouting. The lounge that we would have breakfast everyday was closed “temporarily” and when we went downstairs they were providing a free breakfast for everyone that morning, and we had another breakf…ast provided the next morning (our check out day) since we were on the Club Floor. Be aware if you are planning to stay here: — Executive Lounge is closed until further notice — even though they provide a complementary breakfast to those staying on the floor, you lose out on the benefit of grabbing the random snack or bottle of water/coffee during the day, so no real benefit of a club floor room. — Starbucks downstairs is open from 6am-10am only — Restaurants are on a limited schedule — They’ve enacted their “Make a Environmental choice” program, meaning they will only clean rooms on every 3rd day. — There is a limited room service menu What was disappointing mainly was the communication that the management had with us. We didn’t get any information until we asked someone, info slid under the door in the morning would have been helpful.

Historic building, built in the 1920's as the iconic Book-Cadillac Hotel. Closed in the 80's but renovated and reopened in the late 2000. This building also houses superb fine dining "Roast Restaurant" owned by famed TV chef Michael Symon (as seen daily on ABCs "The Chew")

I met with family members that were staying at the hotel. First we went to the bar on the 2nd floor. It was such a nice atmosphere. The drinks weren't over priced either. Their rooms are amazing and the view is just gorgeous.

This is my new favorite place to stay! I’ve only stayed at one other Westin, but I don’t remember it being this welcoming. Staff was always smiling and they were very efficient. Rooms are immaculate and the entire place is beautiful. We were able to check in early due to an unexpected early arrival. It is close to all of our favorite places in Detroit. The 24 Grille, which is on site, was amazing as well. We will be back for sure!

While I have not stayed at the hotel, I have worked inside of the Hotel on two separate occasions. The first time I worked there was for a reality TV show, and the hotel was very new. It has a very upscale feeling to it. The second time I visited the Westin, was when I set up a corporate event in one of the ballrooms. Extremely clean, high end, and very accommodating.

This was a nice hotel. They had an indoor pool, fitness center, and a spa! You have to check in on the second floor and that was a bit inconveniencing. It was difficult to lug luggage into the elevator and then off the elevator and then back on the elevator. The room was nice and comfy. It was clean and had a huge television. There is not a microwave in the room. That was an issue because we stayed a week and wanted to warm up meals. There is a refrigerator, but it is small. The view from the room was nice. Detroit is working on the economy. The downtown area is a work in progress. There were many homeless people around the hotel. Some even made their way into the hotel lobby. It made sitting inside uncomfortable. Because the check-in area is on the second floor there really wasn't anyone to stop them from coming in. Overall it was a nice experience. Not the best experience I've ever had but still very nice.

Great Hotel in a great location. I love that they have a Starbucks within the building and also a good restaurant and bar. The room was ready right when we checked in and the room looked great. I really loved the bathroom with the window overlooking the city and I loved how amazing the shower is. The only downside was that the parking was quite expensive for the valet. I feel like this should just be part of the hotel stay considering it's a rather expensive hotel.

This hotel is the Perfect location with comparable prices if you are looking for a stay in downtown Detroit where you do not have to drive anywhere. We were in walking distance to everything, Speakeasy bars, classy restaurants and the casino of course. The room was very clean and the service was very friendly. If you desire a night in, the hotel had three different bars connected to it, a lounge area, full service Starbucks and amazing steak restaurant “Roast”. We look forward to our next stay!

A great historical hotel located centrally in Downtown Detroit. I booked last minute and didn't expect much on a busy holiday weekend. The room was modern and fantastic, great amenities, great view. I would definitely stay again!

I was there to eat at Roast and it was simply amazing. You'll definitely pay big bucks at a place like this but I'm my opinion it was worth it! Every bite crafted to perfection.

Room is fantastic and the option to go green and keep your towels is awesome too. Came for an event and the staff is handling the guests wonderfully. AMAZING grilled cheese at the restaurant on the second floor and the bartender made a solid gin and tonic.

It was everything I could imagine! They put me on the very top floor as I requested, free complementary drinks for it being my birthday, friendly staff, the views were great, jacuzzi was everything! Just an all around great time! I do wish they offered a breakfast buffet instead of just restaurants though.

Very nice and clean. Great location. We used valet parking ($35/night) as it was the most convenient option. Our king room was quiet and spacious and the bathroom was very roomy. Nice walk to the Fox and only a few blocks from the QLine. Restaurants and room service are pricey but there are several options within walking distance.

We stayed here after our wedding. We checked in super late. The staff at the desk was very helpful. And they helped put the finishing touch on our special day. The room was beautiful and the view was a nice corner of downtown. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

Probably the best hotel we've stayed at here in Detroit. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Our room was luxurious with all appointments situated perfectly. Large bathroom with rain shower head and huge mirror. You need your key card to get the elevator to take you anywhere so that gives some added security. The bar inside was excellent where we were able to get some delicious variations on some favorites. We also enjoyed some food while relaxing and drinking which was delicious and delivered to us quickly. Staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all a great place that I'd like to stay at again.

The hotel looks and feels very nice. From the entrance lobby, the bars and restaurants, to the rooms, it's all well-maintained. There are nice high ceilings and well-decorated ornate-looking rooms around the lobby. The room I stayed in was nicer than the Westin I stayed at in Seattle. It was newer, the furnishings were slightly improved, or better placed. The bathroom was big, well-lit, accessible, and, most importantly, very clean. I only stayed one night, but I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Detroit.

Nice looking place, but looks is about it. Parking was over 35$, waiting a movie was 20$ and there was no free access to internet. No shampoo, no soap or any kind of vanity preparation in the bathrooms. Valet parking did not answer our call in the morning and we waited half an hour for our car to return. For a luxury resort I am very dissatisfied. Would not recommend, would not come back.

This is an amazing restoration of a true Detroit historic landmark. Beautifully renovated, awesome amenities, incredible staff and service. This was David Bowie's favorite place to stay in the 70's and it's just as inviting now! If you looking for a weekend getaway in the D or visiting from out of town, this is your destination.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Downtown Detroit. It was one of the first hotels to be renovated since the rejuvenation of the city and is classic with impeccable service. There are lots of choices in Detroit, but this is a must and consistently great stay. Love!

This was our 1st stay here. Valet personnel was very professional and friendly. Staff inside was very accommodating. The rooms were very nice, well stocked and cleaned very well. It is close to all activities downtown Detroit and the people mover is very close. Can't wait to go back.

Went here for dinner at Roast. The hotel was clean and orderly. Valet took a while to grab and return my car. Bathrooms were clean. Otherwise Roast is a great restaurant. Enjoyed the steak I had though it was slightly overdone. Service was great. Free coat check was appreciated. Dessert menu was kind of boring for a high dining establishment. I would say the flavors are elementary.

Great experience. Clean, efficient and polite in everything from the valet service ($35) with unlimited in/out privileges to promptly answered calls to the desk for questions, requests for more coffee cups and then lotion (we enjoyed the Jacuzzi too long and needed lotion after the shower) Speaking of the Jacuzzi, the temperature of both the pool and Jacuzzi were excellent. Pool was refreshing yet very comfortable while the Jacuzzi was hot but you could walk right into both without shock or pause for acclamation (I mention this because the last 2 hotels I stayed in didn't seem to care with their Jacuzzi being extremely hot while the pool seemed to have the heater turned off. One of the main reasons I like to stay in a nice hotel is that I really enjoy the Jacuzzi). 10/10 I would definitely recommend.

Rooms are clean. Washrooms are well appointed and large. Bedding is great. Beds were too firm but that’s just my preference, they were high quality. Carpets were stained in rooms but still clean. I’d rate it a 5 except for one thing. We called to order a bottle of champagne from room service but were told we would have to go get it from the bar which was odd, why offer it on a room service menu if you won’t deliver it? We went down to the bar and it was $10 more than the price on the room service menu. When we mentioned that we were rudely told that wasn’t possible. We didn’t want to argue over $10 but they really should change the room service menu to reflect the real price. Also, they didn’t need to be so rude when we mentioned it. We weren’t demanding the lesser price but simply asking why it was less for room service than at the bar. It kind of soured the experience for us.

It's located basically in the heart of downtown. The only staff I associated with was the Starbucks employees and the man shining shoes. They were all very nice, especially the shoe shine man and a woman in Starbucks. The staff dresses very nice and seems really professional. They continuously mopped the salty floors from the snow outside. You can tell they take their appearance very seriously.

Room was super nice although the city view listed as part of the upgrade was lacking. Very small window that looked directly at the building across the street. Room service was great. Very fast and the food was great. The staff was extremely nice and professional but the same can't be said for the guests. Got woken up 3 times from 3:45 to 4:30 am from people screaming at each other in the hall. Not exactly what you expect from a $200 + a night hotel.

Great convenient location. Many great restaurants within walking distance. Went to Downtown Louie's for dinner. Highly recommend. The valet staff were very helpful. The rooms were very big. Beds were comfortable. Rooms include two complimentary bottles of water.

I cannot say enough about how excellent our stay was at The Westin. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Having regular access to coffee, drinks, and food was convenient as well — both in the hotel and around the city (great location, easily walkable). But my favorite thing, by far, was the customer service. Shout-out to Bianca at the front desk, her service was TOP of the line. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. Thank you Bianca and the whole Westin team!

The Westin Book Cadillac is a beautiful hotel in downtown Detroit. The architecture is beautiful and the amenities are plentiful: Fluffy bath towels, comfy robe, in-room coffee, aromatherapy for sleeping, and more. This is definitely a luxurious hotel. The staff is also super friendly. The valet made parking the car a breeze and the front desk staff made check-in seamless. Whether you are looking for a hotel for business or pleasure, I highly recommend the Westin Book Cadillac.

I had a work event here and was definitely pleased with the staff and the building itself. The parking situation is terrible even with valet but everyone inside was amazing! I don't think it's the valets fault that the parking situation is so terrible but the location on the corner of two busy streets and Mayhem during the event could have been avoided! If you're looking for good food and a fun time, our work event was fun! I didn't stay the night so I can't comment on the overnight experience.

Overpriced, lackluster. The only positive is the location, and the view (unless you're staring at the elevators and interior of the building). We came for a wedding with our 2 year old and not kid friendly. No continental breakfast makes it difficult with kids. Our room (2107) had broken lights in the bathroom (switch on wall audibly sparking) and 2 lights in the room were also broken, and the bathroom had no fan (ceiling was cracking and peeling). They don't tell you about the 35$/night valet charge or that you can use it unlimited for your stay at the same price. Overall service was acceptable but for 250/night I'd expect at least breakfast and working lights. Next time I'll just stay at a holiday inn express, get breakfast, and save 150$

Reservation problems from the start. Booked four rooms for under a wedding party contract rate. Two in my party had similar names, so they deleted one room reservation… no call… just deleted it! Called to verify & they said I missed the time window to reserve under the room rate. Hated dealing with the "reservation center" transferred my call to the hotel itself. Much stress to straighten it out. When we arrived room for Grandparents wasn't ready… not happy with reservation process at all.

The room was great! The beds are comfy! The bathroom was so nice! The 24 grille down stairs was great! Nobody bothered us! The reception area is on the second floor, so there was nobody to greet us when we arrived. Elevators were a mess and constantly packed with people. Valet parking isn't cheap but considering you'll be parking 6-10th floor in the parking garage next door the Valet toll would be worthwhile. Also the parking garage does not accommodate large vehicles. 7ft clearance and short parking spaces. My truck stuck way out of the space!

Overall, great hotel. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, check-in was easy and quick. Room was spacious and well-appointed. There were large windows in both the main room and the bathroom, letting in plenty of natural light, and providing relatively good views. Room was clean, and included a fridge and large TV. Hotel seems to be centrally located, making it easy to get to a number of downtown venues without too much trouble.

Stopped into the Book to meet some friends that were in from out of town. I was amazed at how nice the rooms were. I normally only go to the Book for Dinner at Roast or to grab a quick cup of coffee at the little place they have there. I thought the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would honestly consider staying here if the opportunity presented itself.

Beautifully renovated building with lots of old world detailing expertly combined with modern touches. My room was very large with a wonderfully updated bathroom. The hotel is centrally located to everything I needed to access. All staff were courteousa and responsive. I enjoyed my stay and will come back again.

The rooms are HUGE and come with a nice white robe for use during your stay. The bathrooms are big enough to park a few motorcycles in, and the building is a block away from a couple Coney dog restaurants and some other shopping boutiques. The bar is fully equipped and the staff is abundantly helpful.

Made reservations at Roast because of the amazing reviews that I had seen. The valet makes a very tough to park area accessable. The overall service from the staff was definitely a contributing factor to my review. I felt welcome from the second that I walked in, and was immediately helped out. Once in Roast, I was fed one of the most beautiful and delicious meals of my life. Would highly recommend the Westin as well as Roast in the highest regard.

We used the Westin Grand Suite for a special outing, and it provided us with a spacious gathering place, along with multiple magnificent views of Downtown Detroit. The lobby staff and valet were friendly and accommodating. However, the luggage trolleys were hard to come by. We had a vehicle parked near the valet that waited 30 minutes for assistance. Then upon trying to check-out, we called the front-desk twice for the trolleys within about an hour, eventually gave up and decided to just carry the luggage down ourselves. To be fair, this was during a busy weekend, with 2 afternoon Tigers games and a Lions pre-season game. If you’re parking or dropping off, take note that this hotel has convenient access points on Michigan Ave and Washington Blvd.

High end hotel for a reasonable price. Newer modern rooms, great restaurants onsite. Modern bar/ lounge on the main floor. There are six elevators which means a short wait and minimal crowding. We had a horrible experience taking the Greyhound on the way and mentioned that to the Front Desk person. He was fantastic and sent a complimentary bottle of wine to our room. Top notch service! We stayed here to see a Blue Jay's game and bumped into several of the Toronto Blue Jays players! Really great experience at a lovely hotel. I will absolutely stay here every time I visit Detroit.

Meet a colleague here at the second floor lounge before a work function. The bar area is spacious and beautiful, and has a nice view and sunny atmosphere for relaxing on a summer afternoon. I've also visited before I the evening for drinks, and would definitely recommend as a stop before dinner or a show.

The hotel was lovely and the beds very comfortable. There were 4 of us sharing a room after a concert so there were two beds. It was very odd to have two full sized beds rather than 2 queens; the room was certainly large enough to have accommodated them.

Fantastic hotel in downtown Detroit, bright and welcoming, offers a Spa, Starbucks and restaurant on the ground floor. Beautiful lobby with attached bar on the first floor. The building is tastefully decorated without expiring in the modern cold.

We got our room at a deep discount, but the room wasn't mutch to write home about even at that price. Customer service was okay, but not spectacular. The phone in our room didn't work, which was frustrating. Also, the incedentals seemed overpriced. But the architecture was amazing and the need was about the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on.

The Westin Book was somewhat difficult to get to due to all the road construction, but the interior of the hotel and the staff all give off a very premium look and feel. Our rooms were well appointed with large HDTVs, large bathrooms and an overhead rain style shower. The beds, while comfortable, were closer to twin sized than double. Very close fit for two adults. Staff are friendly and professional. Would recommend staying here, for the right price.

The Westin Book Cadillac is a very nice hotel. What I expect from the Starwood Group. The one downside is Internet is a charge service. Become a Starwood Perrfered Guest before your trip to get it for free.

First off, I am bias in that I always like a Westin and have never had a bad stay with this chain. This Westin has a convenient location, close to Comereica Park, Joe Louise, MGM and Greektown casino's. Really nice views from the rooms. Rooms are clean and sheets are crisp. I always inspect any hotel room for cleanliness and bed bugs as soon as I arrive. I have never had a problem here. Staff are friendly and helpful especially the doorman. The Michael Simon restaurant "Roast" was really good (a bit pricey)

Check — in was great. Girl knew it was our anniversary and gave us a few drink vouchers. Room was big, clean and quite. One weird thing, no plugs in the bathroom for the wife to use while getting ready. Stayed downtown plenty of times, this was our best experience.

The hotel looks amazing outside and in. Being dropped off in front and being greeted by the door man make it feel like the Ritz Carlton in New York. The room are alot bigger than I thought it would be. The rain shower head are also a nice touch. Overall my stay has been very enjoyable.

From the moment that I arrived I was very impressed with how clean the property was. The gentleman who checked me in was very friendly. The room I stayed in was absolutely fabulous. Once I was settled in my room is went down to the roast for the happy hour, so good. The pool was great, but the jets in the hot tub were out of order. I highly recommend this hotel.

I have had a very pleasant experience while staying at The Westin Book Cadillac while here for a conference. In a previous employment I was involved in the hospitality management industry and I have noticed the catering staff and events personnel to be above par for the industry. The venues for our conference are not only aesthetically pleasing but also well maintained and capable to meet our needs. I would highly recommend staying here or hosting an event here to anyone in the Detroit area.

Stayed at the Westin for a show at the Fox Theater. Nice hotel nice stay. My only reason for 4 stars was that there was no overnight parking near the hotel and the self park lot on site was full due to construction. The only option for parking ended up being the hotel valet at $30 a night.

From the time we arrived, the staff was extremely helpful & good natured. It was a busy night in Detroit. The Who & Il Volo each had concerts. A tribute to Stevie Wonder was also that night. Autorama, Monster Truck Show, & more. Despite all that, we never felt rushed. The room was large. The beds & bedding more than comfortable. Any requests we made, such as extra coffee, we're met right away. Our stay was a great experience. I would highly recommend.

4 Stars in Detroit, 2.5 Stars everywhere else. Parking is a joke. The valets are understaffed and guests have to wait in a traffic lane with the back of their cars in the intersection to line up and park. The hotel design is average and the lobby is a maze on the second floor. The concierge staff are untrained and not accommodating. We booked a high room with a river view, we got an interior hovel with walls 40 feet from our window. The elevators are terrifying. Broken buttons, strange noises, oh, and the hotel staff use them with you so as you're going up to your room the bell hop will push in a cart that takes 75% of the elevator while you and your spouse press against the wall. You have to pay extra for everything; Wi-Fi, parking, etc. And the staff has their hands out for tips for holding a door. The rooms are tacky, the historical promise of the hotel has been entirely lost to a bad decorator who obviously is catering to low-middle class taste. Like the rest of Detroit the hotel depresses you, it's not an oasis from a parched city, but a constant reminder that you still have to wait 14 more hours until you can leave.

Jamal Mitchell is the best possible concierge, we left a package there by accident and he not only took care of the package but kept in contact with us until Fed ex picked it up. Service FAR beyond what was required! Thank you so much for the beautiful hotel to house our clients and the five star Service Jamal!

Came for a wedding reception in the stunning Venetian Ballroom, then spent the night. Our room was ready right away, with a king bed that was really comfortable. They've renovated recently — I couldn't believe the size of the bathroom! This part of Detroit is alive and well, right down the street from Campus Martius.

Loved The Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit, Michigan. Stayed one night after enjoying the North American International Auto Show with my son and son-in-law. The rooms were clean and roomy. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I look forward to staying there next year… ♡

By far the best hotel with the best location in Detroit. Service is always excellent. Rooms are always spotless with great amenities, and the front desk is always eager to exceed expectations. My only complaint, and it is a small one, is valet cost is excessive and usually very slow.

The hotel and its staff were very nice. There were quite a few people staying at the hotel so there was a wait for front desk staff but they were pleasant and answered all of our questions. We had dinner at one of the restaurants and it was tasty and the server was friendly and efficient. The room was great, large with a nice view of the city. The bathroom was also large, more than I expected. The only real negative I have is that you can hear conversations taking place in the hall and the rooms next to you. Guests coming in from a late night woke me up and I was wearing ear plugs.

It was a nice stay at the hotel. The beds were very comfortable and they accommodated us with only a little bit of discussion when we said we needed two beds instead of one. A very spacious room. Wish there could've been a couch, especially because it was an upgraded room and still not sure why they originally tried to give us only one bed.

I have stayed at the Book Cadillac numerous times. Everytime I visit the staff makes me feel at home, the facilities are well kept, and I can't wait to get back.

Excellent hotel. Parking is expensive. Service is great. Starbucks on location.

Best hotel in Detroit. My husband and I staycation here every year for our anniversary, and have never been disappointed. The hotel is incredibly clean with beautiful rooms — — the beds, towels, robes, bathroom amenities are all top notch. I actually don't want to go home after staying here because it is such a comfortable place to stay :) Aside from the rooms, the hotel staff is very friendly and always goes out of the way to help. It's also centrally located hotel in the city, and in walking distance to many restaurants, bars and shops… and if you can't walk there, you can get there in a $5 Uber ride. Highly recommend booking a room if you're looking for a nice place to stay for a getaway.

Really nice, large rooms. The elevator situation was more than adequate. Service and staff were polite. Very good location downtown.

This venue was absolutely HORRIBLE. I relcuctany chose this venue for my wedding and dealing with them was the only stressful part of planning my wedding. From the very beginning they were unprofessional and unresponsive. When I arranged a meeting with Emily Cooper to view the space I was interested in having my wedding in she was an hour late and had a very so nonchalant attitude about it. She didn't seem the least bit apologetic. Nor did the hotel seem to be doing anything to find her. She finally made a haphazard apology at the end saying she was busy and these sort of things don't really happen. This situation left me with concerns but I loved the space, and the price for my budget so I decided to go for it. WORSE decision ever. I was assigned Emily Cooper to handle the coordination of my wedding and be my point of contact. Well it turns out that my prior situation with her was not at all a fluke but simply how she conducts business. For the entire 10 months I was planning my wedding she was unresponsive and when she did respond she gave vague answers which didn't help at all. When I called her she never called me back. When I asked her to take a payment towards my balances it took days for my account to be charged then days for the payment to be removed.

Used to stay at another hotel downtown until a friend booked a room here. Shocked at how great it is. Beautiful inside and out, rooms are spacious and luxurious and the cost overall is surprisingly reasonable. I stay here every time I go to Detroit now.

It was wonderful great service and very quite slept well no noise waking me up in the middle of night o I thought I was in heaven.

Every year again, to the NAIAS that's Westin Book Cadillac hotel of choice, when Mercedes-Benz invites to Detroit. The hotel impresses with his class, his style and extremely friendly staff. Like Detroit or not too offer much, the Westin Book Cadillac Detroit is the best address on the ground.
January 2015 it is again so far, I'm looking forward.

Thank you once at again Westin Book Cadilac for allowing the crew at Events To Remember Event Production and Design, LLC to set up a wonderful wedding at your facility this Sunday. As usual your staff there was outstanding! Jeremy the banquet houseman made sure that each and every one of our needs where met during set up. We were required to flip the ceremony space into a reception space in 45 minutes and it went flawlessly due to the team effort between our staff and yours! We were done within 35 minutes! Way to go! Apryl, Mohammed and the bartender Wesley were so awesome to work with, very pleasant and kind people as well as the security staff on the dock. We thank you all so very much and can’t wait for the chance to work with you all again.

Loved it. Built in 1924 but the rooms are 2008. Very nice and spacious. We were very impressed with the staff and housekeeping did a great job. Self-parking is convenient in a garage right next door (same one as valet parking uses). Location is convenient to a People Mover or walking to many sites in the city.

Arrived at 7pm on a Friday and our room was not ready. When we finally got to our room, there was no crib for our 9 month old which we had previously requested and asked for again at check-in. I will say that the large room was very nice and clean. The bed and linens were also very comfy. We are unhappy with this hotel because of the hold put on our credit/debit card. A hold that would normally be, on average, $50 to $100 for incidentals, but ended up being $4400! YES, you read that right, that's four THOUSAND four hundred dollars! I am not kidding. We just about died when the bank told us that. We thought the bank put a hold on our federal tax refund, but no, it was $4400 being held by the Westin. I called and spoke to Diedra today and she was supposed to transfer me to a manager, but of course I got disconnected instead. I was unable to call back because I was on the road again and of course they never bothered to call back either. We will also be on a close watch of our account because we only used credit/debit for incidentals and payed cash for the room. We didn't receive a receipt at check-in nor one under our door in the morning. Hopefully the girl at the desk didn't pocket our money.
