We were attending a concert at Ford Field and were looking for a hotel nearby.

Came here as a vendor and wedding guest. The staff is professional and kind. They actively engage in conversation which I appreciate. Seamless valet service with easy text communication.

I had a meeting here for my staff and board. The valet was quick and easy (both in and out). The building has been immaculately redone, and shows off "old Detroit" very well.

Great location in downtown Detroit, close to several solid restaurants and stadiums. Valet cost has gone up but their turn around time has improved in recent months.

I have stayed at many boutique hotels, but Detroit Foundation Hotel stands in a category of its own.

This is one of the most tasteful, gorgeous, and simply elegant hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms were clean, ceilings high, and extraordinarily comfortable.

This hotel had me at the Valet Service! The Rooms were nice, the service was Incredible, the food and drink selections were on point. But the Staff Blew me Away!

Very nice hotel with extremely nice staff. Nate Sloan was so kind when coming to grab our bags and taking them to our car. Hotel was clean, bar was nice. Great location to downtown Detroit.

Great apartment in an ideal location downtown in Detroit. The view from our apartment was spectacular, as it overlooked the ornate courthouse.

I was here for a concert and had a great stay! The location is an easy walk to Little Caesars Arena, and there were plenty of late-night food options around after the show.

The Cochrane House is exquisite! My husband and I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast and we were a little leery at first.

Stopped in to ask for directions while I was in Detroit for an appointment and unfamiliar with the area. The staff at Indigo Hotel were incredibly kind and helpful, even though I wasn’t a guest.

Here we are at The Trolley enjoying ourselves. The Steak was awesome and the service with Ms. Personal and the bartender with the awesome glasses was TOP NOTCH!

The staff was very nice and accommodating, room was cleaned well and had everything we needed for the two nights we were there.

Easy check in, Shai was valet, nice smile, great service. Clean main room. Room was nice and large, good guest experience overall.

Room was great, casino floor was a little smokey but didn't bother me any. We had a great view of downtown Detroit and the Renaissance center from our room, pretty neat!

Hotel stay was excellent from start to finish as well as the casino.
Casino was clean, slot machines were working and the atmosphere was good.

This review is long overdue. I am a monthly regular here at HGIDD, and I must say that from my first stay to the present, I have always been treated with the utmost kindness.

Very much enjoyed our stay for the Lions game. Thanks to a tip from our last visit we knew to enter the parking lot from a side street. Staff was great getting us into room early.

My wife and I stayed here for the Detroit Free Press Marathon, and the location was right on point. The 9 mile mark was right outside of the hotel. We had a studio on the 9th floor which wasn't bad.

The hotel was easy to find. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was extremely clean. The cleaning crew used is very meticulous and did a lot of deep cleaning while I was there.

This was our third time staying here, we picked the same room all three times.

Beautiful old building, well secured. Within walking distance to Downtown Detroit. All the stadiums right there. Our Room was beautiful.

The valet was incredibly helpful and nice. My daughter left her airpods on the valet cart and Joyce called me (repeatedly! ) to let me know they found them.

WOW, what a gorgeous place for our daughter's wedding & reception. Our daughter and her husband planned everything themselves and chose the Marriott Renaissance.
