I cannot begin to describe how incredible my experience was at this hotel. The decor is dripping with eclectic elegance, the staff is beyond kind, and the rooms are unique and cozy. I could feel the “soul” of this building and I felt like the developers paid homage to the history and character of this space. The absolute best hotel stay of my life!

I paid $300 for a room. When we first got there it seemed like the room was way to hot. So we turned down the AC and left for our concert. When we got back from the concert we realized the AC just wasn’t working. I called the front desk 3 times starting at 11:30 pm. They said they were trying to find security? After the 3 calls I finally said we are going to bed Bc it was 12:30 am. When I checked out they didn’t ask how my stay was or anything. In fact I had to tell them again about the ac not working and all They said was thanks. When I was home I called 3 more times to speak with a manager the last time I finally spoke with a female and she told me oh well Bc I was the one that said never mind about having a security guard come to my room (which they couldn’t find one) and we needed to sleep! Very uncomfortable sleep Bc we had to open the window which still was very hot In room plus construction going on outside of our room. Also we had to pay for a velvet on top of the $300! I wasn’t offered anything other than her opinion that it was all on me for giving up at 12:30 and needing to sleep.

Absolutely lovely atmosphere! Great hotel bar and delicious macchiatos! Any Francophile would appreciate the European architectural influence and interior design.

My wife and I stayed at the Siren Hotel and had a wonderful experience. Fantastic location, friendly staff, and great atmosphere.

A quirky-cute boutique hotel in walking distance to Comerica Park and other venues and restaurants. Valet parking was convenient and fast. The room had just what you needed, no clutter or tacky home office furniture. Soft sheets and great pillows!

Very nice staff and helpful! They provided choices of local eateries and how to obtain. Also very accommodating. My room was unique and beautiful!

I will only stay at the Siren Hotel when I visit Detroit! The vibe is on point and the staff are incredible. Was sad not to be able to visit the Candy Bar, but understandable. Unique, quaint desirable hotel in the heart of the city! Absolutely love❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

They pump a nasty smelling incense in the lobby at night. It is so thick and strong it made me sick. Everyone in the elevator was complaining about it. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, they shrugged it off with an “it’s just what we do” attitude.

My significant other, our Miniature Goldendoodle and I recently lodged at The Siren Hotel and loved every second of it. It's, truly, our favorite hotel at this time. We look forward to returning!

We loved Karl's Coffee Shop and the Candy Bar. This is a great place to stay and explore Detroit.

The room was gorgeous. The hotel staff was awesome. Candy Bar was perfect and the bartenders were great.

I stayed there last night and the entire experience was smooth. The room was very clean, comfortable and in every way adequate for my stay. You need to understand this hotel's quirks and you will enjoy your stay.

I've stayed here multiple times and always walk away happy. Perfect location, friendly staff, beautiful clean rooms. Great ambiance and very cool vibe.

Very very retro. Very cute. Our room and bathroom sink were small. Hard for one to get ready because there very little room on the sink vanity.

Super neat hotel in downtown Detroit. Used to have a factory in this building but has since been repurposed into a stylish hotel with small but cozy rooms. We had a queen room with a private bath that was very nice. Make sure you know what kind of room you are booking when you do book. We stayed after a concert and it was way easier than trying to fight the traffic out of the city. Coffee bar is open in the morning and the Candy Bar is open at night. Enjoy!

I don’t know how to describe this place. It’s very trendy and hip (or at least they think they are) but you feel judged from the moment you enter this place. If you are over 30 you will feel very out of place. This hotel screams pretentiousness. The rooms are very small and the beds are low to the floor to make the rooms seem bigger, a common industry trick. You can’t contol the temperature in your room. No coffee maker in the room, but outrageously priced water and snacks. I was never comfortable in this place from the first second I stepped inside. They have a bed in the lobby that at night always had people laying in, watching you as you walk by. If I’m ever in Detroit again, I will do my absolute best not to stay here.

I didn’t have a reservation and was in Detroit last minute. They had a room avail for two nights and it was great. Candy Bar inside was really fun. The entire hotel had a 30s vibe to it. Staff were really nice and helpful. I’m 50 years old and it was nice to see younger people with a great work ethic and really into customer service.

As a local to the Detroit area the Siren Hotel is a beautiful new gem. I had some family stay there for a wedding. They had a flawless visit. The service, room decor hit the marks. I love the design of the lobby with lush furnishings, big luxurious palm trees and a cocktail bar to die for! A new favorite.

Unique and comfortable. The Staff was very friendly, beds/pillows comfortable, and rooms were very clean. Just know you aren't walking into your typical hotel. No vending machines in the hotel or refrigerators in your room so plan accordingly. Super close to downtown activities making it a very short walk to them. Will stay again!

I honestly loved this hotel! The aesthetic was incredible and it was very ritzy in an approachable way. Every staff member from reception, the bar, and in between was incredibly considerate, helpful, and friendly. We stayed in the room with the bunk beds which were incredibly sturdy. The room was great, however just a bit of noise from the hallway and outside, but nothing outrageous or to actively complain about. The only active complaint I do have is the booking process and a lack of transparency about how much I am paying and although I did get a confirmation number, I would have appreciated​ a breakdown of what my reservation was and prices involved. I was expecting my room to be $139 however when I was checking in and out I was charged for a $154 plus tax. Overall, it didn't set me back, because I was budgeted for a good time, however, ​ I don't know why I was not charged $139 and I forgot to ask. Even with this issue, if I had a big event I was staying in Detriot for and wanted to feel a little *fancy*, I would stay here again in a heartbeat​! For an unexpected stop or a quick visit, it might be a little too much but definitely worth every penny! I hope to come back again!

Super cool hotel in a great location. Every single person who worked there was super nice and helpful with suggestions. The Candy Bar was really quaint. Our room was really small, but we were only in our room to sleep so it really did not matter.

Located right in the heart of Downtown you couldn’t want for a better location. All the staff from the valet, reception and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Paige in particular is a real asset to the place, making you feel at home and like nothing was too much trouble. The decor, layout and general ambiance is very quirky and a delightful change to the bland “ikea styled” hotels I generally stay in for work. You have to have at least one cocktail (I recommend the Daiquiri) in the Candy Bar as it’s one of the most intimate charming bars I’ve ever drank in! When I’m next in Detroit I’ll be sure to be staying there again! Many thanks for your lovely hospitality!

WOW! One of the coolest hotels ever. Themed decor feels like Disney's Haunted Mansion meets Beyonce's Six Inch Heels video. Peek behind the dusty rose curtain in the lobby to see the world's largest disco ball in a sweet little speakeasy, the Candy Bar. Vintage room included soft-pillow bed under a Roku-supported flatscreen next to an old-timey push-button phone. Excellent location, super hot friendly staff and awesome amenities, this place is amazing!

The hotel was nice, very hip. The room was okay, a bit small and had stains on the carpet. But the bed was comfortable and clean. The Candybar has a cool atmosphere and is reasonably priced, and all of the hotel's staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. We had dinner at Wright & Co, excellent by the way, and only a minute walk from the hotel.

We tried to go to Candy Bar but the bar is incredibly small and there is a list. The bartender was awesome though and served us in the lobby, and was super attentive to us. Candy Bar is cute but not worth a two hour wait.

My fiance and I stayed here this past weekend. It was that something different we were looking for. Not like your typical hotel. Which was nice. Had some minor issues but the staff was more than accommodating on making sure it was fixed in a timely fashion and to make sure we had the best stay we could have. Rooms were a little smaller than normal hotels, not completely finished yet (which was expected after just opening) and couldn't figure out if there was ventilation in the bathroom (room got warm after a shower). But overall we had a nice stay! Thank you to the staff at The Siren for being wonderful & making our stay a nice one. We definitely plan on coming back, once everything is up and running!

Chic hotel very close to Comerica. Rooms are small but very nice with cool tile and wood floors. Staff is nice, on-site bar is the place to be.

Beautiful historic building, very cool restoration, neat addition to Detroit's hotel offerings. Stayed here this weekend with my wife. We received the VIP treatment for our whole stay! Very well managed, great service! Beautifully restored part of Detroit's history!

My wife and I stayed here in March, and it was nothing short of amazing. It started off with the front desk expediting our room for an early check in, and fresh brewed coffee and espresso across the lobby. Our room (Chamber), although smaller than a "conventional hotel room", was absolutely perfect. The bed was clean and comfortable, and was everything we needed. I'm sure the other options would be larger, but the description was 100% what to expect. After a fun day in downtown Detroit, we were treated to the craft cocktails in the hotel bar. The bartender was fun to watch as he meticulously put together various drinks. This place is awesome. We can't wait to go back on our next trip in July!

Beautiful and charming, this hotel is full of little details that will make your stay very special. In keeping with Detroit's reinaissance, the hotel has all the charm of the mid century but all the commodities you would expect in a new hotel. The staff is amazing and goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. We were not able to try the bar but it is on our to do list next time we are in town.

Thoroughly enjoyed being here for a mid-week staycation. The entry way and lobby have an amazing mid-century vibe. The Candy Bar has a bartending crew on par with any in the city. The rooms are colorful, clean, and have tons of character. Overall a great experience in walking distance to our dinner and entertainment choices, with a very welcoming staff and patrons!

Loved this hotel! Super great spot — right next to Small Plates, the Skip, Comerica, etc. Great price for the location as well. The hotel itself is super trendy and clean, with excellent staff and room service. The employees really made you feel extremely well taken care of, and are really personable. The rooms are tidy and cozy. It doesn't feel like just any other hotel. Would definitely come back if I stay overnight in Detroit again.
