Are stay was very good the beds was very comfortable the the rooms were quite clean and very nice, Portable would Recommend.

I stay here often but this be the last time. I called for help with the TV, they have no clue on how I fix their equipment. The lady said I had no right to yell at anyone. First of all I was not yelling, if I was you know I was yelling. 2nd the last time I stayed here had problems with the A/C they had to move me to another room. The people who are running this place have no clue on customer service or try to make things right. So they lost my business and I'll let everyone I know.

Great value, clean rooms and comfortable bed. Stay there anytime I'm in town.

Amber Inn has a good location in Le Mars, Iowa, on business 75. The rooms are fairly bare-bones, but do you have a microwave and a mini fridge in the rooms. They offer a continental breakfast from 5 a. M. To 9:30 a. M. Every day. The only thing I was not thrilled with was when I went down to the front desk to request an extra blanket for my mother, who is easily chilled after completing chemotherapy, and was told that they didn't have any extra blankets & they couldn't give me one. My thought was, what kind of a hospitality-industry business does not have enough extra Linens to cover the need for an extra blanket or two for any of a myriad of reasons?! No explanation, no suggestions of any other possibilities (couple of extra sheets, maybe? ). I do not think we will be returning to Amber Inn on future trips.

Moderate price and rooms were very clean. Nothing fancy but very nice rooms. I would stay there again.

For the price, this was not a bad motel. The room was a bit dated but was clean and comfortable. The bathroom walls could use a good scrubbing. Check in was quick and efficient. The breakfast was ample considering of waffles, eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, cold cereals, hard cooked eggs, toast, yogurt, coffee, juices, milk. Good for an overnight or two.

Cheap rooms but dirty rooms. Stained sheets, sink was stained and dirty and there was a discolored Brown Matt in the shower. Lots of dirt and things on the carpet. Overall gross hotel and would not recommend.

Stayed here a few days. Breakfast was great. The gentleman that was working while we were there was very friendly and always helping any way that he could. We will be staying here again!

Good clean motel. I'd give it 5 stars but the grey haired guy who prepares the breakfast in the mornings is a creepy nasty dude. He wore same clothes everyday and always looked like he just woke up with his hair all over his head.

For the cost, it was excellent! If you need a place to sleep it is clean. Had a quick decent breakfast.

Great little motel for the money. Clean rooms and they are in great shape. Hot breakfast in the morning … Definitely a hidden gem for budget travelers.

Will never stay here again! Place smelled and not the cleanest. Very rarely anyone at the front desk, have to call them on a phone. In the morning while we were showering a cleaning guy opens our door to announce himself, no knocking. Thankfully we had latched it at top. Very weird place! Felt bad I subjected my family to this.

Decent place with clean rooms and a breakfast nook. Stayed here with our motorcycle group and no one messed with the bikes. Saw the police roll by several t! imes to keep an eye on things. Felt good about it.

I have stayed here regularly because of my job since 2010, and from day one it was always good, I have seen nothing but constant upgrade in every respect to the rooms to breakfast to a fitness room, laundry has always been here, I have nothing but respect for the owners for constantly upgrading and considering the guests on them being happy and comfortable.

Don't do it! The woman at the front desk! She acted as if we were interrupting her day. She split up our party all over the motel, not even remotely close to each other. And the room! Many broken fixtures, stains, and it smelled so strongly of moth balls we had to open both doors and windows. If I could have given them a "0" I would have.

The Rooms were very clean and the staff was soo nice and helpful. We travel all across the country on business and fun and for a hotel this size and the price, I was very impressed. No issues with billing or service. The breakfast was above the continental standard. I would recommend this place to anyone. We stayed in a two bed none smoking room and the experience was wonderful! Just amazed at how polite the service was, great place-5stars for a hotel of this size!

Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was impressive! I am in love with the town too! What a lovely place to spend the night.

Room had a definite odor that wasn't pleasant, the bathrooms needed a lot of maintenance including wall repair and paint. I definitely will never stay there again! I will pay more and go to just about any other hotel in town and we are up there quite a bit.

I had made a reservation for 2 rooms on a Saturday in July, I called to cancel my reservations the Thursday before, the lady on the phone told me my reservation had been cancelled. No conformation number for the cancellation was given or even offered to me. Only one of my rooms got cancelled and my debit card got charged $71.50. I called to talk to a manager, he is never there nor does he ever return phone calls. When I finally contacted him he told me my reservation was cancelled and I was not charged. I had my bank statement right in front of me, it said Amber Inn LeMars Ia $71.50. He told me I was not charged and was supposed to follow up with his bank and take care of it. He did not. So I went to my bank to dispute the charge, my account was credited $71.50. This week I was sent a letter from my bank saying they lost the dispute because I had no cancellation conformation number and my account will be charged $71.50 on Thursday sept. 18. I call to talk to manager, not there again, no return call. The people who run this hotel are not very professional, I do not recommend staying here and do not use your credit card as if you cancel on time they will still charge your card and tell you they did not, and they do not know how to issue you a credit. They are obviously terrible bookkeepers as they do not know how to operate their POS computer system or how to issue credits or cancel reservations. Very unproffesional.

Old motor motel being updated. Exterior doors. Immaculately clean room. Firm beds, hot water in shower. Excellent value for price.

Worst place ever stayed at sheets were dirty. Floor was dirty overall dirty! Never would stay again.

The owner (Jack) is a little hard to understand on the phone, how ever very willing to make your stay very nice. The motel is older (hence motel) but the facility is very nice and clean very well kept, walk to to restaurants with good food at booth and very quite at night. We will stay here again when we come back. We book directly with the hotel for the better price (Thanks Jack).

I've been here during a cross country trip and I was very happy! Good stay.
