Only drawback was we asked for ground floor access because one person in our party is nearly blind — — phone person said 'no problem. ' Arrived and found that no room on ground level was available. Price, cleanliness, roomy, great parking, breakfast variety — — everything else very acceptable.

We stayed in a handicapped room, which doesn’t bother me but the room smelled so musty and wet. The bathroom smelled like urine, I didn’t even want to take a shower in it. Definitely won’t be staying there again. : (

Worst place ever! very rude! my mother, my 11 yr old daughter, my 5 yr old son and I got a room with a hot tub and the jets on the hot tub did not work. And when I went to pull mattress out of the hide a bed couch I found a whole nest of spiders. as the man from the front desk was looking at the couch for the spiders he had me help him flip the couch over on its front end and then he sprung the mattress out and hit my 59 yr old mother with the frame. it skinned her shin from top to bottom. when I told him we wanted to change hotels he proceeded to remain in the room watching us as we rounded up our stuff even though my children needed to change out of their p. Js. So needless to say my children didn't change because I felt he was entirely to inappropriate and got my babies out of there. After we got into the car we stopped at the main entrance for my mom to go in to get her refund for our awful room and the man didn't want to give her her refund! he said that we used his stuff and the tub. this is coming from the same man that hit her by the way! worst hotel I ever thought i'd find. Then their corporate didn't care about my mothers leg at all they wanted a picture of the spiders and didn't make things right. here I posted a pic that was taken within 5 min after he hit her, of her leg.

I stayed here 2 nights because I was in town for work. The hotel was pretty good for a super 8. I've stayed in some crappy Super 8s. The front desk guy (I think it was the owner) was really nice. I'll def come back here in 5 months when I'm back in town.

Great price, very nice room, very clean. The staff is very nice.

Room was not clean. Empty water bottle behind desk. Mud smear on shower curtain. Food left in refrigerator. They need to train house keeping to look a little deeper.

Stool dirty, tub drain slow, no coffee cups, pee sitting in stool.

Filthy bed spread, filthy shower curtain almost falling off the walls, filthy walls, floor and sink area. We could not even take a shower it was so gross.

Clean room. Good breakfast. Nice desk staff. We stay here every year while being vendors at Red Barn Craft Show.

Worst motel ever manager wouldn't accept company credit card after reserving and driving til midnight for him to say go somewhere else definitely better off going 30 miles east to super 8 in boone.

I was checked in but had to leave without spending the night due to a family emergency.

Under New Management will definitely stay there again.

This is very overpriced, it's a very basic hotel, but the prices are over $100. One of our party had mold in their room and needed to move.

Good for a super 8. Room has a refrigerator and microwave.

Biked from West Des Moines to Jefferson on Sunday 8-2. It was in the 90s with heat index over 100. When we made it to the Super 8, we discovered that the new casino didn't have much food. I asked Sab, the man that we checked us in could help us gett to some good food without us getting back on the bike. He was so very kind and drove us into HyVee so we could eat in the Market Cafe. Great dinner! I said maybe we could find someone to bring us back but Sab wouldn't hear of it. He said to call when we were ready and he'd pick us up. He was so very gracious and we so much needed his help. The hotel was clean, rooms were very nice and the bed was especially comfy. Thank you Sab for helping us and saving us from getting back on the bike. Hugs.

I loved it, this super 8 had made many new improvements since my last visit, I am definitely coming back to stay at this place next time when I am back in Jefferson. I was on business trip, I would recommend to any traveler to stay at this place. This hotel is clean and great place to stay in Jefferson.

Great location, clean hotel, Great new updates new chairs, great breakfast, hot waffles, clean room, great surprise top of all super 8 I have stayed at, great service with a smile on the face every time you walk at front desk. Manger is awesome. I will tell everyone to stay at this location, clean well updated, great service and pleasant stay.
