VERY nice couple who did our housekeeping. Friendly. Accommodating. Our room was Very clean. That bed was VERY comfortable!

Rooms are very comfortable. I had to change my reservation dates recently due to an unforeseen medical issue. The staff was very cooperative in helping me revise what would have been a non-refundable reservation! Continental breakfast is excellent!

The 2 days I spent at this Quality Inn was 5 star. Wish I could give it 6. The check in was seamless and pleasant. The people at the desk are always helpful and cheerful no matter what my needs were. They have accomodated my irregular schedule and even upgraded me which was awesome! After a hard 12 hours a soak in the jetted tub was the perfect way to fall asleep on the comfy bed. I awoke well rested and wasn't disturbed once! Even the breakfast rocked! I have already made reservation for the next time! Thanks Quality inn and Suites.

We just spent the night between driving and it was a good place. The only issue is that it smelled kind of weird.

Poor, room smelled of urine and smoke Trash in the trash cans Bed had been made. When I pulled back the covers There were hairs between the sheets.

The staff was very nice, breakfast was hot, but not always items available. Rooms were clean and the bathroom was on the small side, but served it purpose. Will stay again.

Very kind staff. Very giving! We had lunch in the meeting room and realized that one of our participants didn't have dressing for her salad. A staff member generously gave us some of hers. Top notch experience at the Quality Inn and Suites!

The hired clerk at the desk was very welcoming and friendly. The owner not so much first words out of his mouth was if you smoke im charging you 200 dollars. The hot tub has scum all over it and the shower had pubic hair in it. Cancelled my 3 week stay and went to country inn down the road.

Nice place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our room was beautifully done and very clean. We were in a suite with a large jetted tub. It was set into a stone surround and looked fabulous. It was, however, very difficult to get in and out of. The breakfast is much better then most places I have stayed. I highly recommend this motel.

Clean rooms, and helpfull staff. They serve a very decent free breakfast in the morning. Located close to acouple resturants and a wal mart. Overall I would recommend this establishment.

Lovely staff. The rooms we very clean. Newer construction one of the nicer places. Steakhouse one block away solid food.

Great rates. A bit on the small aside for a hotel. The breakfast was surprisingly good, nothing exotic but what was the was well done and a clean eating area. It seems like the floors and walls are a little thin because there was a fair amount of noise penetrating them. Pool is on the small side but great for a family.

Currently staying here and trying to decide whether or not to find another hotel. Room is ok, breakfast options seriously lacking, but the pool area is gross. Besides windows full of fly carcasses, walking around the pool leaves your feet covered in dirt. The tile needs to be completely redone and they are aware but haven't wanted to close it and take care of business. The ability to swim was one of our main objectives for this 4 night stay so we are very disappointed.

Very nice room and breakfast. Great price. The swimming pool was fun, but the tiles in there where not sealed so everyone got really dirty from the desolving tile.

Rooms are very comfortable. Satellite TV is a little clumsy to use however; can't enter the fractional channels directly. Also, the satellite provider changes the channel line-up frequently, so the TV Guide provided by the motel is frequently out of date. Continental breakfast is excellent!

Cruising across country and after driving through Nebraska, I needed a place to crash and I needed a pet friendly hotel as I had my dog with me. Staff were very friendly upon check-in and gave me tips on dinner and other small town places that might have what I needed in a pinch. Walking to the room I hit a very Smokey section of the hallway and got worried my room would stink but once I entered no smoke smell, sweet! Room looked decent with a recent upgrade to paint and furnishings. The biggest issue… and its a big one was cleanliness. I had stains on the bathroom door about knee high that looked very similar to blood spatter?!?! There was a 4 inch long black hair at face level in the shower. I dont judge small town hotels on not being fancy… but I do judge on being clean. Just clean up better and you guys will be 4 stars all day. See ya later Iowa!

We stayed at the Grinnell location. They were unable to offer us a discount but our stay was very comfortable.

Pretty cool for being out in Grinnell. Dope pool! Also they have really good cookies for you at check in.

I stayed here simply because the price was right and it had an 'okay' TripAdvisor rating so I decided to check it out for myself and see. I found the property clean. The room was clean and had all the comforts seen in today's hotels: free Wi-Fi, large TV, microwave, refrigerator, desk, in-room coffee, hair dryer. Breakfast choices were also typical to today's expectations. Essentially, I had no issue with the accommodations. It's not an upscale hotel, but that's not what it aims to be nor what I expected. It is mid scale hotel It was clean and comfortable, I would stay here again and I recommend it.

We have had a great experience here at the Quality Inn in Grinnell. Brenda, at the desk, signed us in with a smile, let us look at the room before we booked it, and was extremely accommodating. We slept well, and then in the morning, breakfast was served! It doesn't get any better than this. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel.

Booked (and paid) with Expedia. I had to give them a credit card for incidentals and that card was also charged for the room. It has been over a week and no one will return my calls.

Passable hotel, weird that the pool closes so early (10 pm) but the rooms get the job done for a short stay.

On May 18th, I left Wisconsin to begin my road trip to Lake Tahoe, NV. After a long drive, I was tired, flustered and far away from home. I thought I would be able to drive to Des Moines to find a hotel for the night, but I was wrong. It was around 9:40pm, and I pulled off I-80 into Grinnell to hopefully find a hotel for the night. I thought it would be easy, but many of the hotel's parking lots were full, which was very discouraging. I first went to the Country Inn & Suites knowing the hotel would be a good stay, but they were fully booked. I next tried the Quality Inn & Suites right down the road. By this time I was desperate for a place to stay and I was hoping Quality Inn & Suites would have rooms available. To my luck they did. The gentleman at the front desk whose name I should have asked (I would have like to put it into this review) but whose initials were VP as per my receipt, greeted me warmly with a smile. I was relieved after he told me he had rooms available. I paid, what I felt, was a very fair price for the following reasons. The room itself was in okay shape. There was obvious wear and tear among the room, but these kinds of things do not bother me. At that time, all I cared about was a comfortable bed and working shower. The bed was more comfortable than I expected, the sheets felt freshly pressed, and the bathroom had more than enough hot water for me. The price is not the only reason to why I am giving a long and good review for this hotel.
