We stayed here for the location. The hotel is walking distance from Drake stadium. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is provided in the morning. I didn't spend much time in the hotel itself, but I plan on being here again the next time there's an event at Drake stadium.

The hotel was as expected. It was clean, spacious, had a full size ironing board, and the desk attendant was pleasant. The breakfast is basic — hard boiled eggs, yogurt, granola, cereal, and hot items like sausage, bacon, and eggs. They also had a pastry selection.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel is keep good condition. The rooms are good size and quite. The bathroom is also a good size and clean. No Pool. The parking lot is a nice size. The breakfast is pretty standard. The Drake dinner is next door.

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The hot breakfast provides many options which I loved. The rooms where spacious and the beds were amazingly comfortable. I had a great night sleep each time I stay there. The best part of the hotel is the friendly staff who always made me feel at home. The location is great close to down town and they have a diner next door that is delicious. If your looking for a great place to stay hands down this is it. I can't wait to come back.

I wouldn't have second thoughts about staying again. Ask not to be roomed near weekly residents though.

This hotel is ideally located next to Drake University. Beds are comfortable and breakfast is solid.

I stay here a lot to see my sister in college, it's a nice small place with small rooms. Having the Drake diner next door is very nice also. Always have a great experience here, I just wish they had some better breakfast.

Not that great for the money room heat would not turn on till it was set at 75 and was still cold. Breakfast was gross just cold been there for some time. Not the worst hotel but not the best.

Spent 2 nights at this hotel. Quaint location next to Drake University. However this hotel falls short of typical HIE standards in several areas. * It appears to be an old remodeled building where they tried to go on the cheap. * Bathroom is tiny and outdated. * Breakfast area is too cramped, and I wonder if the food is NOT fresh each day. * Business office computer is in the front entry with no privacy and much too noisy to concentrate. * Cell service is atrocious. Had to walk outside and down the block to take phone calls. * Internet service cut out 16 times in one hour. Obviously not enough bandwidth. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly.

Location was within about 2 blocks of Drake University campus, which was absolutely preferable for our stay. Breakfast had a pretty good selection, including pancakes, omelettes, cinnamon rolls. Beds were not great, but for the price I didn't expect amazing.

While staff was very nice and helpful, the room was a handi-accessible room and could've had some improvements made. The bathroom door did not lock, the TV cable was missing, and the blinds wouldn't stay closed. I have stayed there before and it was wonderful, though.

Nice staff, clean rooms, decent portable bed and great breakfast. The mini pancake machine is cool.

Helpful front desk attendants. Biggest variety I have seen for breakfast. Tasty too. Room was very clean.

Weird place. Layout was strange. Front desk wasnt rude, but definitely not friendly. Would stay again if need be, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay either.

Not the greatest location but a clean hotel. They say breakfast starts at 630 which is a little late but breakfast was ready well before then.

Unsatisfactory. Under renovation, work started at 7 am. My room was across the hall from breakfast area (115). Toilet ran, so turned off valve. No exercise facilities. Never again.

Accommodations were nice. Facilities were clean. Was pleased with the facilities, but I was quoted a price on the room when I booked the room on the phone. When we checked in we were told a different price. I asked two different staff about this and I was made to blame. It appears whoever took my reservation put it for the wrong date then changed it after we talked. I was told that I changed the date. Staff on site said they were unable to resolve this issue and no manager was on duty. Very displeasing!

Great stay. Very friendly employees plus a wonderful complimentary breakfast. Also enjoyed the fitness room. Will stay here again in the future.
