This work out ok … they got truck for weekend.

I stayed at Quality Inn on a business trip rooms were certainly adequate and clean plenty of plugs for my cell phone and laptop and television had an HDMI connection so I was able to stay entertained with YouTube videos the room has an air conditioner that works and there is a very convenient gas station and also the best barbecue place I've ever had next door I'll be staying here for a few more days on anticipated visit to the casino to help time pass the staff has been very nice and available when needed I would recommend a stay to anyone in the area.

I spent $164 for a jacuzzi suite and the place is a dump! The screen was all bent and falling off our window, the a/c didn't work well, the door to the pool wouldn't work properly and they had to come open it. Total waste of money!

Friendly front desk, clean facilities and very happy with the job done by house keeping. I rated it 4 star only because the breakfast was a little disappointing.

Excellent service. Staff is very friendly. Indoor pool. DirectTv. Free Wi-Fi. Free Continental Breakfast. I stayed here almost a whole month a day shy from a whole a month. Clean rooms. Right across the street from Adventureland and the Casino. Great spot walking distance from restaurants even a theatre. I love this place and highly recommend anyone to try their rooms. Non smoking rooms including vape but designated smoking areas outside. Free coffee and tea in the rooms. This place is good on your wallet if you are also seeking comfort and relaxation.

The staff are very nice. Hotel is clean. They have a nice continental breakfast.

When checked in we were told breakfast was until 10. A lady came in rudely and said I am closing this down at 930. When we questioned her she gruffly said I dont know, its 930. And took the breakfast items away. There was used shampoo left up in the corner of the shower. And the TV would not work.

Location was great I was stranded in altoona but kept busy until my truck was fixed with the movie theater, casino, amusement park all within a 10min walking distance. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating.

Hotel rooms are very comfortable. Small pool. There is no elevator for 2nd floor rooms. Pricing is affordable. Continental breakfast is included but was not fully stocked.

Very basic hotel. Older. Clean. Needs a lot of updating. No elevator so carrying luggage up 2 sets of stairs was not ideal. "Hot" breakfast items were cold. Would stay again at a lower price point.

Bathroom really needs attention… cracked walls and mold behind toilet wall very nasty… was traveling all day and just needed a place to sleep!

Clean rooms, really tall ceilings, decent amenities. Breakfast foods were standard fare. The breakfast room was awkwardly small, when full, it was kinda awkward to navigate around to get stuff. Check-in and out were easy and pleasant. We had a pleasant sleep and there were no outside disturbances to wake us.

Got caught in a nasty snowstorm on the way home. Pulled off the interstate and booked a room. Check in and out was very easy. Staff was nice. Room was clean and beds comfortable.

It was ok. You can tell its an older place they are trying to fix up. They have a huge heated pool that's awesome but I would not stay there if you are handicapped in any way!

We didn't stay. The price was high for the location and the quality of the hotel. The man at the front desk was awesome and VERY friendly but the hotel was really run down.

Quick check-in, clean and very quiet, good breakfast, and discreetion, nice and friendly front desk clerks. Second time we have been here and we will definitely be back again!.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was even though the hotel is supposed to be smoke free as soon as we opened up our door the smell of smoke was over powering. We reported it immediately to the front desk and they brought in some spray and sprayed every thing down and apologized. The spray helped alot and I can't blame them because the previous guest has no regard for the rules and couldn't care less about the health of the next guest by having to breathe in their stinky smelly cigarettes.

Clean, amazingly friendly staff, and great price. Very good Continental breakfast.

Location is great for Adventureland Park access, leave your vehicle at the hotel and walk across the 4 lane busy road (if patient was fine for family with two kids 8 and 11 to safely cross). The Front Desk staff was professional and courteous as well as the maid service staff. The lady that handles the breakfast bar in the morning could use some customer service training and the quality of the breakfast bar items was below the norm for Choice Hotels. This is an older building and appearance could use new paint, carpeting and caulking to improve the appearance. There is NO elevator so if in wheelchair or problem with steps make sure that you get a room om the first floor.

Room is pleasant and attractive. The bed is comfortable and has 5 queen-size pillows — — no mini pillows here! Bathroom is clean and bright with a modern sink faucet and a true shower. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Rooms are clean, bed is comfortable although we weren't big on the small pillows. Service was awesome, very helpful.

For the money, this was a joke! Breakfast had very little to offer and they finally brought more gravy but no biscuits. We finally checked out and went to McDonalds. We will NEVER stay there again! Also, this was supposed to be a smoke free room but you could clearly tell someone had been smoking.

Great staff and location. Only complaint is no change machine for laundry and snack machines. Good hot breakfast.

Clean And comfortable. Many restraunts next to hotel. Gas station next door. Free breakfast. Adventureland right across the street. Perfect location we will return.

Not impressed, my non smoking room wreaked of it and the carpet looked old and out of date, throughout. Even the flooring creaked from the steps, along the cooridor and hallways. My coworker said the people above were jumping up and down all night. Mikayla was the best thing place has going for it. She was pleasant and helpful.

Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly, pool was well maintained. The breakfast was good, staff was friendly and very helpful. Very close to adventure land and a number of places to eat and have drinks.

The breakfast was not very satisfying but it was free. The room was Lempio and the price was cheaper than a paid before for the same experience with other hotels. If you want a cheap and clean room sercas de Des Moines, this is the one you are looking for.

The facilities were pleasant, and their complimentary coffee was the best I've had in a while! I didn't stay there overnight myself, but the room was clean. There was a hole in the sink (it wasn't leaking or anything), but they knew about it already and had ordered new sinks.

We just stayed on aug 10 the room was very nice and clean the bed was very nice also after a full day at Andventure land the rate was great and breakfast Sam was very nice. We will stay there next time. Thank you again Sam The Hansons.

This hotel was very disappointing! We have stayed here a couple times in the past and it has always been just OK but close to where we needed to be. This past stay we arrived to dirty/stained comforters and sheets. When we called to the front desk to get new we were given new that were in the same poor quality and were told that is the condition of the bedding they use and we had to make our own beds before being able to go to sleep. Once into the room and settling more we discovered small areas of blood on the pillow cases and bedding that were given to us "clean", a floor that was clearly not vacuumed with popcorn, licorice, empty pop bottle, rubber band, child's small ball, long blonde hair and a rubber ducky. This room was not cleaned but when we talked to the front desk and even the manager we were told that the room was clean even in this disarray. We will not be going back.

They didn't have an elevator so we had to haul our big wagon of stuff up the stairs, breakfast was ok.

The room was nice but pool was so small & the view out the windows were nothing to brag about, staff seemed nice & friendly. Very clean & well kept!

Refused to allow two mother's and my grandchildren stay. Absolutely despicable… Avoid this place.

I was a little concerned as I had seen a couple of poor reviews just a few days/weeks prior to our stay. I am pleased to say that we found the hotel clean and comfortable. It is basic, but the bed was clean and comfy and the bathroom was spotless. The hotel itself could probably use a facelift, but overall it met our needs just fine.

This deserves NO STARS. We and my VB team did not have a pleasant stay and we discovered a room that was given to us with the mattresses up and a BIG bottle of bed bug juice by it. The rest of the night we couldn't stop itching thinking about possible bugs in our beds. Very hard to understand the management and get things resolved as far as charges go. We are still waiting to hear the outcome of that. I recommend NOT EVER staying here again.

I've stayed here many times working in the area and knew it wasn't the best out of the Quality inns I've stayed in. But after my most recent stay I will no longer be coming back here. It's becoming more and more dirty over time. In my bathroom there were multiple hair balls in the shower area and a GIANT one under the toilet. Disgusting. Not worth $95 a night.

Double charged for a room. Now on day 12 of trying to get refunded. The girl I keep talking to claimed to not know her managers last name. Really? Its Jay Thakor, by the way. The "Manager" refuses to talk to me. Called the corporate office… Jay didn't even take their call! Unreal! Filed a formal complaint with them and the better business bureau. Unprofessional to say the very least! Whatever you do, do not stay here!

Room was smoke filled when it was to be smoke free. Deadbolt did not work which I brought to managers attention. He never fixed it or offered any sort of service. Stayed here 4 nights. Very bad service.

Before I made my reservation, I called to ask if we could have pizza in the pool area. The woman that answered the phone told me that she thought so but was not sure. She explained to me that she had only been working there for 5 days. I asked to her to ask another employee then call me back. She agreed to do so. Several hours later, I still had not heard back from her, so I called back up there. She was no longer on duty, a guy was there. I asked him and he said Yes. I asked if he was sure it would be ok and his response to me was "yes, because nobody here cares". Once he said that, I should have known better than to make reservations there. Not only was the pool TINY, but they use way too much chlorine and it is very hot in the pool area. In the first room (#107) they put us in, the toilet didn't flush, The room had a very bad odor and it was freezing. I found the front desk lady (same one from above that didn't call me back) sitting in the back playing on her phone so I told her about the room. She moved me to I told her I was going to go look at the room before I moved my things. I was so glad I did. The room was a mess, it looked like someone just checked out but house keeping did not clean it. I did go tell her so she gave me another room The final room was a nice room, it smelled good, beds were comfy. The front desk lady went on to tell me that the owner doesn't live in the area and so he is not there to maintain the hotel.

In Summer 2013, this was a BRAND NEW HOTEL. Everything was great — beds super comfortable, rooms fully stocked, you won't get a fridge, microwave, office furniture, and sink in any other room at these prices! Plus they had the biggest flatscreen TV's I have ever had in a hotel room.
