We had great housekeepers that allowed us to sleep in. Pool was nice for morning swims, and the guy in the room next to ours was very helpful. I waz a bit hesitant about booking with Motel 6, but I have to say, this was the best experience I've had staying away from home. I would suggest new vending machines, and some on 2nd floor. I would also recommend a continental breakfast. It doesn't have to be much, just cereal, toast, milk, juice, coffee, maybe some bagels or donuts.

The place smelled like cigarettes so baldy. Was a smoke free room but that was not the case. The smell was so strong. The bedspread on the bed had cigarette burns in it. Was not a pleasant experience.

The room was disgusting. Used bar soap in tub, hair in tub, tub wasn’t cleaned at all. Sheets were used, mirror was dirty. Entire room was dirty and unclean. Appeared as if the housekeeper straightened up the used sheets and left everything else untouched. I’ve worked in hospitality for 10+ years as a Housekeeper, Inspector, Supervisor, and Manager. This room was beyond unacceptable and obviously not inspected.

I don't normally write reviews but I have to on this one. We stay in Motel 6's across the country and this one was one of the worst. The bed was comfortable but the room wad disgustingly dirty. There was of hair all over the room including in the sheets. There was a red foam ball in the bathroom covered in hair. There were cigarette burns on the sheets, blankets and tub. Overall, just dirty. I don't mind staying in low level hotels IF THEY'RE CLEAN. I couldnt even shower because I felt so gross there. I got in late, slept for a couple hours after cleaning the bed and left as soon as possible.

My husband and I stay at Motel 6 is all along the country. We have been in some really horrible ones and some really great ones. Your hotel was exceptional. Thank you for keeping your guests in mind when cleaning.

Motel is clean, rather stark accommodations. Has pool which we did not use, others did. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Room was serviced for 2nd night. Needs a new shower head — poor pressure. ** Motel 6 in Green Bay on Oneida St. Last weekend — our room was not serviced.

Not a peasant experience. Found bugs on a pillow case. Pool hours open late. 10am. Check out 11am. Guess my son can swim for 1/2 hour. Was given an apology and a whopping 13.00 discount for have to change rooms at 12:30 at night and not getting settled into another room and son finally going to sleep after we stripped the beds at 3am. Will never stay in a motel 6 again!

Love this hotel very much wouldn't stay anywhere else. Nice clean rooms very friendly staff. The indoor pool was a plus. Its close to gas stations and highways and places to eat a very close. Great place to stay with kids.

Would have given 2 stars but this town requires a bit of sympathy & understanding. Adequate motel. Very old property, even for a M6. Nonsmoking room smells like stale smoke. Remodel is poor compared to other M6 locations. Cleanliness is ok. Bed is comfortable. Price is good.

We enjoyed our stay there. The desk clerk was nice and professional. The room and facility were fine too.

If ur ever in Davenport Iowa please check it out I promise u won't regret it 40 inch flat screen TVs coffee in the morning I will always stay here when I come to the Quad cities everything is perfact at all times they always have what u need I just love it here.

Management sucks, hotel was disgusting, room service was bad, employees were ratchet, barely any coffee product that was offered, bad language used by employees. I would not recommend to anyone. Not worth your money.

Stopped just for a place to rest on our trip back to SD and the room was good — looked like it had been recently remodeled. It was clean which is the most important thing. The only thing I wish is that we were on the 1st floor and had someone right above us that paced for like 2 hours. I know the motel was not full so it would have been nice to stagger the guests so that they were not right on top of us… otherwise it as a good choice for us.

I was tired from moving; I was tired from driving 10 hours and I slept like a rock. I didn't have to walk far from my car to the room. The room was very clean and quiet. My only complaint was the TV channel options. Satellite TV, would have made the room perfect.

I didn't end up staying there due to not needing the reservation anymore but when cancelling my reservation, the lady that helped me was very kind and not pushy into "why we wanted to cancel".

My vehicle broke down and I was grateful for this Motel 6 while stranded awaiting repair. Without any restaurants within walking distance (and highways), I was glad to have a refrigerator/microwave option. Could order out delivery food and store/reheat items. The staff were very friendly and helpful and responsive to your needs. Our room was clean, bed very comfortable, good extended selection of TV channels, and there is a laundry (which I needed after traveling) and an indoor pool. Also, I noted it is wonderful that the pool has a lift for disabled guests. I would stay here again over somewhere else. I could have paid more elsewhere and had less service and less friendly personnel. Linn/Lynn the evening clerk was very helpful, especially during a stressful time of car break down.

I had a good overnight stay. The desk clerk was very nice. The room was clean and everything worked (lights/outlets/etc). The desk clerk even came down to my room and got Closed Captions on the TV for me.

Clean, quiet. Lots of morning coffee. Luggage cart available for bringing belongings in and out. Always satisfied with my stay. Really well stocked convenience gas station across the street.

The front staff was extremely nice and apologized for the stench of smoke in the non-smoking room we were originally assigned to. She then reassigned us to a new room which was more conveniently located and while it did not smell like smoke, the overwhelming scent of cleaning and air freshening products that were presumably used to get out other odors prior to our arrival was nauseating. We were tired from driving and had already put down all our bags so were not interested in trying to look for yet another room. Guests were also loud, but we understand that this is just a hit or miss kind of thing. Would just be mindful of smells in the future.

We were late in leaving the convention, and not finding anything along our route, extended our drive to reach Davenport. I reserved a room online. When we arrived at the hotel, there was a note to dial 0 to reach the clerk. Surprisingly, the phone rang around the corner of the hall and just out of sight and after a few minutes the clerk came to the desk and a young gentleman that was with her exited the building. She was friendly and efficient and we were soon on our way to our room. The room was very clean, and we both had a very good nights sleep. My wife commented that although we'd been in a many starred hotel for the past week, she had the best sleep and rest of the whole week at that Motel 6!. The outside grounds and parking lot were well lit, and the grounds were clean and neat. The only drawbacks were a small child my wife discovered walking around the halls alone; and individuals sitting in the hallway.

Location was great. The remodel of the room was poorly executed. This was the third stay at the "new" Motel 6 and while the style and furnishings were the same, the workmanship was lacking. Laminate floor undulated. Walls were poorly patched and nice paint cannot cover flawed drywall. Sadly, a number of guests must have ordered Chinese food and the smells in the hallway was strong and not pleasant. AC unit in room had no directional vent or cover. Just bare metal. No elevator. Coffee was available. Thank you. I suspect the local contractor cut corners on prep for this otherwise excellent remodel style…

Stayed at two Motel6's on my fast trip home after a 14, 755 mile Alaska trip. During that trip stayed at higher priced motels that included breakfast. Breakfast included means price is going to be more. Personally I don't need to waste the time eating a tasteless waffle and cornflakes. At the two Motel6's I stayed at, the coffee was hot and great tasting. The big plus was I spent for two nights, what the Choice places would charge for one nights stay. And the rooms were just as clean and comfortable.

Got a indoor pool. Cheap rates. Big clean rooms. Coffee in morning. Cable is ok but not great.

I've had no problems the employees were friendly the room was nice I couldn't ask for anything better. I'm in a wheelchair and the employees have gone out of their way to make me comfy. I have been here almost 4 months and it's my honest opinion that Rick could function and run the place better if he didn't have to keep running down here for every little problem. Give him a couple days off to rest his mind and body he needs it badly. I've got to know most of these people pretty well I worked for almost 40 years he needs a couple days to relax his mind.

The air conditioner was broke. I turned the fan OFF but the compressor still ran. In the morning there was water on the floor. Except for the bed, this was not much more than a truckstop. No shampoo, the ground floor window was left open by the maid, but in 50 years we never had to worry about checking a window, and the heat pump compressor was so loud that we really couldn't tell it was open untill we pulled the curtain aside. We had TV, internet, soap and a shower. Except for the bed, I think I just described a Flying J. I know I paid $20 less than the local motels wanted. The man we talked to, seemed to be the manager. I feel for him. Perhaps the name "Motel 6" should be taken off and changed to "Motel 4. "

The newly remodeled rooms are on point I must say. I told people about them and they couldn't help but go check out a room for themselves. They were impressed. I recommend my friend from Arizona to book her stay there for two weeks in Davenport at the weekly rate, which she did.

Had people making noise until 1am. Wuthering the wooden does you could hear ever step and with them running up and down the stairs. And then they stayed again at 6 am. It was a total nightmare. I go to a bowl to get sleep, not only about 4 hours. I will never stay here again.

Hey girls will complain. If you have a picky wife probably not the best place. As for me the place was awesome and served its purpose greatly and at a great price. The only problems I think someone would have it its just not been updated. The carpet is a little worn out and they still have the old tvs besides that I got what I wanted with a great price.

I have rented here many times before but this will probably be my last. It has gone down hill! And the way my daughter and I were treated was appalling! The night clerk (Rick) was rude racist and unprofessional! Argued with me n told us we could be kicked out if we didn't like it. He also said those type of people aren't welcome at his motel anymore!

Ok first things first. I didn't have any problems with the manager both times we stayed there, however the house keeping staff was something else. The didn't speak english, they where rude, they nosed through our stuff and did a lousy job cleaning, I had to buy cleaning stuff just to clean the bathroom. There are roaches and bed bugs there. Both times we stayed there I got ate alive. They use store bought stuff to try to kill the roaches instead of calling pest control. If I could post pics on here of the bed bug bites, I would, it was bad. The amount of illegal activity there made you think you where in the middle of the ghetto (and in a sence I was). We saw a hooker with a guy in the back parking lot, hookers coming and going out of there all of the time actually. Oh and walking down the hall one night, felt like we where on the set of a porn movie. You could hear things going on down the hall. Try having to listen to that while getting a soda. It was a cheap place to stay while we house hunted. That's all I can say about the first stay there. Now the second stay wasn't as bad, but house keeping hadn't improved much. The old lady they had cleaning the room didn't seem to understand what a do not disturb sign ment. My husband works 3rd shift, just went to bed and she would knock wanting to make sure we didn't need anything. I tried the first time, to explain that do not disturb means just that and that my husband is sound asleep as he worked all night.
