I tried doing a 12hr drive yesterday. I failed lol I surrendered to my exhaust and broke down and got us a hotel last night and to my total shock found this GEM! This place was built in the 1800s (renovations have been made, obviously) and was absolutely GORGEOUS! Oh, and they accept dogs so that was a total win, too lol I can't wait to come back. The staff were so nice, the rooms didn't have a lick of dust and it's connected to a Free Press Coffee Shop so we grabbed breakfast and coffee before we made our way out! ❤ Definitely one of the best and prettiest hotels we've ever been to! Highly, highly, highly recommend!

Absolutely love the atmosphere and hospitality and the history. Would much rather be in here than a chain Hotel. Very clean and comfortable with all the goodies. Definitely would recommend and will be back to stay anytime we come to town.

We had the pleasure of staying at the William Watson Hotel on a motorcycle trip to Arkansas. What a pleasure to not just experience this place, but also the Free Press Coffee located with the hotel. Already planning a return trip.

Always friendly, we stay any time we go to visit family.

This was ju st what I needed to break up my week. If you want a relaxing getaway with your spouse, or you are just passing through the town and need a comfortable, clean relaxing place to sleep for the night then this is the place for you. I loved the town too. Pittsfield was very gracious to me while I was there.

Wanting a change of pace, I stayed here for a business meeting the next day. Great decision. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The room was comfortable and quiet, with all I needed to get a little work done, rest well and make an efficient get-away in the morning. The adjoining coffee shop opened at 6:30 am. Lots of memorabilia to enjoy and an historic square for a stroll. I appreciated the homey, help-yourself kitchen. The owners were very friendly and made sure I always had access to them in case of any questions. When traveling alone I’m extra conscious of safety and was given no reason for concern here. A taste of Americana and small town life where I grew up — I’d return in a heartbeat.

Loved our room. We had a double queen with a separate sleeping area. Worked great for putting the baby down. Breakfast was minimal, but the price was good and the room quiet. Lots of charm.

Such a unique experience, great clean hotel. I really enjoyed learning the local history of the historical courthouse building and the square. I will return!

Really cool historic hotel. Lincoln used to hang here! Comfortable, quiet and clean. Much better than the cookie cutter chains. Continental breakfast could be a little more robust, but there is a really nice coffee shop connected.

WOW! This was a wonderful place to stay. The room was so comfortable, bed and pillows were great and everything was so clean! Fully stocked help yourself kitchen downstairs for breakfast. If we ever travel that way again we will be sure to stay there!

This is a wonderful establishment. Great atmosphere! Takes you back in time. The staff is awesome. Recommend it to everyone. We stay there frequently.

First time here! Loved it! So clean and comfortable! This is the "GoTo" place for when my family has family reunions. Beautiful place, love the old antique look. Only negative thing I have to say is that my shower never got hot, just warm. Sink water got hot. Not that big of a deal though! Looking forward to staying there again!

We always love staying at William Watson! The staff is so nice and the accommodations are comfortable and quaint! We only wish we could enjoy the coffee shop late Saturday afternoons when we arrive and Sunday mornings!

This is definitely the best place to stay in town. Every room is decorated differently and well maintained. Beds are extremely comfortable. Staff goes above and beyond and is very friendly. Coffee Shop that is in the hotel is amazing with a wide variety. If you're looking for something different than your cookie cutter motels this is your place to stay.
