I stayed two different nights over the past couple months and both times have been very pleasant. The rooms are small, but also very well kept and the young man that was working the desk both times was extremely friendly and accomodating. He even gave my wife information on historical sites in the area that she was really interested in. We will definitely be back every time we come this way as they are also very affordable.

Called about 2 weeks ago to make reservations for Labor Day weekend. (the end of August) was told that my card was to just hold the room that we could pay cash when we arrived to check in. August 1st I go to get gas and my card gets declined. I knew I had money on there. Get on my app and they charged my card Twice. My boyfriend immediately called them and informed them and wanted to know why it was charged. First my boyfriend was informed that he was lying because all our information was wrote down correctly. Then when the guy on the phone finally realized we weren’t lying. He then stated that my card wasn’t charged twice. Very rudely states he can’t make refunds & he will contact the owner in the morning. He will be calling us so please answer the phone… Next morning rolls around & nothing… So I call around noon to find out what’s going on. The guy was still extremely rude. Said he couldn’t do anything about it & that the owner never calls him. But suddenly after 20 minutes on the phone explaining that they overdrafted my account for their mistake he found the “refund” button. Said the money will be back on my account by morning time. Which was also another lie. Also while continuously lying to me he stated that the lady who made my reservations what new to town and druggie. Leaving needles in the room after she’s cleaned them. Very very poor customer service : (I have to file a dispute through my bank just to hopefully get some type of money back.

Went in at 915pm last night needing a room, pushed the little doorbell once… waited a minute… pushed it again… waited a minute and he pops out the door inside and unlocks the front door let's me in, the marijuana smell hits you right in the face, I ignored it, he was wearing pajama pants and a hoodie (No big deal), I said good evening! How are you? He looked at me and sez "you woke me up, id? " I think I was so in shock that I just handed it over not thinking, then he sez "how r u paying? " I said I'm not, give me my I'd, learn how to be a little respectful, thanx! And I left, terrible people, never will I be back. Went down the road to green acres hotel and was treated wonderfully! Awesome hotel, go to green acres!

The prices are fair and the rooms are clean. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. I personally didn't like the showers. While the shower was clean, it is extremely small. I am 5'4" and the (nice) shower head didn't seem to adjust any. Basically I got my hair rinsed before I wanted to as there was no escape from the water spray. If someone is over 5'8" and of average size, I can see the shower working better for them. There are no food vending machines but there are stores close by. I do have to mention this place seems to have been freshly remodeled, however the person doing the work needs to take more time to make it look neater and more professional. The whole property is kept clean and the parking lot is well lit. The man in the office (I don't know if he is an employee or owner) was extremely polite and helpful. I was looking at a tire on one of our vehicles in the parking lot, and he was right there asking if we needed help and said he had an air compressor if we had a flat tire. I was impressed by him being that attentive. I was hoping for some breakfast like muffins or fruit, but they only had high-sugar honey buns. This location is quiet and peaceful with a lovely grassy view out the back window. It is not a very large motel but this is located in a very small town and honestly was better than I expected. I would stay here again however would be better prepared for the lack of snacks/breakfast and the weird showers.

It is exactly what it costs to stay there, only less. Think it thru. My stay there I'll just consider a mistake I've learned from.

It was a perfectly nice room for the price. There was some work done on the room though that was of poor quality. I would stay again as the room was clean, and a good value.

This is a very nice clean motel. The rooms are newly remodeled and clean no smoke smell. The manager is very friendly and makes sure you have what you need. Breakfast is just sweet rolls and coffee but for the price it is well worth. I got a suite since we were traveling with out 5 grandkids.

What a dump that is ran by an unfriendly person. Didn't even make our beds after our first night of a two night visit. If the price was less I would be more forgiving — but for the quality of the rooms it is totally over priced.

The staff was awesome. Stayed here many times and this was the best experience I had. It was relaxing.

Will be staying here again! Hotel is ran by a super friendly couple, clean rooms, and just a comfortable quite place to stay. Parking lot has nice lighting at night and you are able to park your car right next to the door of your room. The other guest were just as friendly as the people who work there. They are pet friendly and have great prices for being a pet friendly hotel! Very accommodating also! Rooms could use a little updating, but still a very nice place to stay and my husband and I will be going back this summer to stay again!

Good people and very clean.

This is a very nice motel. Clean rooms extremely nice couple running it. My husband and I were in an 18 wheeler and the wife even offered to go to the convience store and hardees for us!. Will definitely stay here again +great price!

They are the friendliest most hospitable place to stay in Illinois I recommend everyone to at least give it a chance anything own buy an American family is worth the stay I love it here and I will tell everyone that I know to come here great family and they make you feel like home.
