Front desk lady was very rude. Me and my boyfriend tried to check in and they gave us such a hard time!
I wouldn’t recommend going to this hotel!

Great for the pups! don't bring them out too often nice that they are dog friendly.

Angel was amazing! Very helpful and super sweet. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I stayed here Friday night. The lady at the front desk (Amy? ) was very nice and accommodating. If you are passing through, I would not hesitate to rest here.

A great stay! My husband and I were traveling through Illinois and checked into Ottawa Hampton Inn at midnight. Generally when you check in so late you are greeted with someone that isn't too excited about their job. BUT this was NOT the case here! The night attendant had the same energy and enthusiasm at midnight as if we were checking in at 4 PM. Thanks so much for the hospitality. This attitude just made us feel so welcomed and we really appreciated it. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Thanks for the great stay!

While the hotel is comfortable I was frustrated and disappointed with the communication between the reservation center and hotel. I called and asked what the dog policy was and specifically asked about leaving our dog in the room alone in his crate. I was told by Sue that it was okay as long as he was in his crate. Come to find out not only did the hotel not know we had a dog with us but you can’t leave them alone in the room. This ruined the few hours my husband and I had to spend with my 95 year old grandmother. My suggestion to the hotel: make sure the reservation center has correct and updated policies. Had I known this we wouldn’t have stayed at this hotel.

Excellent service! The staff went above and beyond for my parent’s anniversary and my mother’s birthday. So detailed in the amount of thought that went into making sure they enjoyed their stay. They were so incredibly happy! A complete gem of a place! If I could give more stars I would! Thank you all!

Clean, well kept hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast is also very well done with a varied menu from day to day for extended stays. I was very pleased with this hotel.

What a great place to stay — especially if you are traveling with a pet. Staff is kind, efficient and friendly. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Breakfast is quite substantial and well prepared… all at an affordable price. Kudos to Ashley in the kitchen and Tina at the front desk.

Nice hotel but they still allow smoking. We would not have booked here had we known that. Our room was right next to rooms that were smoking and the halls reeked of cigarettes.

Our stay was fantastic! Very clean room! Outstanding breakfast! So much variety! Staff was very helpful. It was our first over night with 2 small dogs. They got treats. We couldnt have asked for anything more.

We spent an awesome 2 nights at the Ottawa Hampton Inn. The room was clean and modern. We have 2 small/medium dogs and the room with a King size bed was just the right size. The service was great, even better than other Hampton Inns we have stayed at. Hot breakfast is always a plus. W would highly recommend to anyone, especially to those traveling with pets.

Good accomodations, with a pool area, free ice, and cookies. Very comfortable and large bed. They also allow pets which was a plus.

It was a nice friendly place. My only complaint was the bed was so low and too soft that I had a backache within an hour of trying to fall asleep. Everytime my husband moved, it felt like I was in a water bed.

Nice sizes room, clean and well maintained facilities. Few small problems like the bathroom drain not working well and couple breakfast items poorly cooked or missing. Overall it was a good experience.

Beds were comfy, nice location next to places to eat so we could just walk. Check out was noon which was perfect for our trip. Only issue was the refrigerator was loud when it would kick on.

This is a great place to stay at. When we come over for our reunion we stay here. Very clean rooms. The pool is great and so is the weight room. I highly recommend this place. The service desk people treat you like family.

Clean hotel, nice rooms. Staff is friendly and the breakfast was fantastic: waffles, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, pastries, and so much more. The breakfast was fully stocked, even at 9am when we eate. You got your firm and soft pillows, so our bases are covered. I recommend this place.

While unassuming from the outside, the hotel interior is modern and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Check in was very quick. The room was clean, complete with coffee maker, mini fridge, towels, and plenty of outlets. The bed was firm but comfortable. Breakfast was really pretty good considering it was complimentary. Coffee, waffle bar, tea, cereal, omelets, and more. I'd gladly stay with this location again.

This hotel is very nice. The rooms are clean, the beds are soft, and the staff is very friendly. The fitness center is very good as well. The equipment is well maintained and there's a nice variety of it. Complemantary cookies are served at the front desk and they're pretty tasty. There's also a very nice hot drink station in the lobby that is fun and accessible all day. The only real complaint is the noise. The walls are a little thin by the customer laundry room and people seem to like to do their laundry late at night. It can be hard to sleep. The doors are a little thin as well. You can hear the conversations people in the halls are having and it makes you wonder how well they can hear you. Other than that, though. It's very nice. I'd comment on the breakfast, but I haven't actually been down to their breakfast yet.

2:45pm Diamond checkout is 2pm Most Hamptons accommodate me when I have a change in schedule. This one insisted they would charge me the night… I stay at Hilton brand hotels approx 250 days out of the year.

Nice hotel to stay at during the week. Within a short walk from a couple of restaurants, it is an ideal place to stay during the work week. Much preferred than the Holiday Inn next to it.

Excellent experience. I had to stay here for 20 days straight, and every day was perfect. Hot tub, pool, and workout area were very clean and nice. They were willing to work with me during checkout to make sure I had the best experience possible. Great staff and wonderful Hotel!

The proximity to starved rock is good. The breakfast is good, the decor is good, the hotel is clean, the staff is hospitable… All good. But the thing that absolutely clinched it was… THE WARM POOL! Seriously, this is what a heated pool is supposed to feel like. We have stayed at many hotels of various price points, and so many in the last few years are downright cold! It has become a running gag with us. This place broke the streak. Management, I hope you read the reviews, and I hope you continue to hear that pool like this. If so, we'll keep coming, and we'll tell others!

The service is good. The Wi-Fi is kind of confusing but we figured it out. The room is really good for $135.

Excellent service and facilities. We arrived at 11:00 PM for check in without reservations. As I was paying for the room, my for year old son (who spent the last ten hours riding in the car) tossed his cookies all over himself and many of the items neanear him in the car. The on-duty manager supplied me with towels and a trash bag for cleanup before I ever payed for the room. Once somewhat arranged in our room, I found a 24 hour guest laundry room on our floor. Yes, you pay to run the machines which is expected to prevent abuse. Now, my son's car seat cover and his precious Blue Blanket will be clean for the last leg of our trip. Thank you so much for all of this.

Very nice motel, in a great location! Great restaurants just min away. Not far from Streator Illinois, either. We stay here when traveling for work, and have never been disappointed. Clean, comfortable beds. Nice pool, and jacuzzi. Complimentary breakfast. Microwave, fridge, coffee pot in rooms along with ironing board and iron. Also provides blow drier. Laundry services and exercise room. What more does a person need when needing a decent place to sleep if in the Ottawa area. This motel is the ONLY place we stay when in Streator /Ottawa area.

This hotel I stopped at while driving across country and they refused me service. The front door was cracked as if someone had been kicking it. The lady was as rude as possible and told me my debit card was no good without even touching it. I had plenty of money to pay for my room. I did not have a picture ID. So no picture ID emans you should be refused service? It was not just a major inconvenience for me, it is dangerous to send someone who rolls into a hotel in the middle of the night away. I was passing out and needed to stop driving. I was a major road hazard swerving around looking for a place to sleep. I wound up forcing myself further down the interstate to sleep in my car at a rest stop in the freezing cold. All the hotels in this crappy little redneck area refused me service as I was passing out and unable to drive any further. Holiday Inn Express and the Fairfield Inn. There is no excuse for refusing service to someone who has money to pay for it. I could see turning someone away if they are simply begging for a room with no money. But turning someone away because they do not have a picture ID? That should be illegal in this case. There is no excuse for sending a totally fatigued driver back onto the road. I would never stop at this exit to look for a hotel again. The hotels in Cheyenne had no problem with me and neither did the hotel I went to in Pennsylvania.

All of the staff I encountered on my stay were very friendly and polite. The hotel was very clean — everything looked much nicer than I was expecting. The only thing I was disappointed with was that the on site exercise room was being remodeled — however, it did say that they had made arrangements for guests to use other facilities if needed but I didn't feel like leaving the hotel to go work out. Overall a very good value. I would stay again if I were in the area.

Room was clean; pool and whirlpool were relaxing. Bathroom lights did not work.

We loved this place. It is right off I-80 and very near Starved Rock State Park, one of our favorite spots for many years. The breakfast spread was wonderful and the rooms were clean and comfy.
