I’d first like to say that I’m a Raddison member, and that I visit this particular establishment just about every time I’m in town. I’m staying at the Country Inn Suites in Tinley Park, IL. William (front desk staff) called my room at 8:30pm to inform me that I wasn’t checked in, and that I needed to come down to the front desk to finish the process. At this point, I’m confused because my husband and I have been in the room since 1PM. William (front desk staff) then proceeds to tell me that we needed to pay the $$$. I explained to William that there was already a $$$ on my card and that all he needed to do was charge my card the additional $$$ for the room. Keep in mind that now we’re at the front desk with other customers standing around and he’s discussing this issue loud and wasn’t making any since. I’m disappointed in the manner in which we were treated. William kept trying to explain that the young lady who checked us in was new and that she wasn’t trained properly. That’s actually something he shouldn’t said about his colleague.
As I told William, it’s not the amount of money, it was the principle behind it, and they way William presented this issue to us. I allowed William to go ahead and over charge me because my husband was tired and irritable already (otherwise we would’ve left and never returned) I would like for you to contact me to discuss this further. Our business and personal account was charged. Hard to get the manager on the phone after a full day finally was able to talk to him with a promise of reversing charges. Flew home the next day my personal account was double charged and manager out for the weekend. After I called corporate and my trip advisor I finally got it fixed but with no help from management. Otherwise… room was ok, breakfast was good. Remodeling in affect.

Everything started out okay. Check in was smooth, staff was nice, and there were free cookies. Room was pretty decent and seemed like the standard hotel clean. First night went alright. Second night, found an ant on my pillow. I thought it was no big deal, but then there were more and more. They were marching along the baseboard and along the radiator. Crazy. Crawling all over the walls, the dresser, and the bed closer to the wall. I have long hours, so I didn't get back to my room until 7pm, but it was pretty horrific. Called down to change rooms. Couldn't complain since manager wasn't around. Then, the next room. Same problem. Turned lights on. Ants scurried away. They were swarming around the radiator and the baseboard near the window. Called again. It was near midnight, so it wasn't like I could just pack up and leave. Finally got another room on a different floor without ants. Pretty traumatic though. Spoke to front desk in the morning and they were super apologetic, but again. Nothing from the manager. My hours are long, so I didn't have time to hang around. Left my email for the manager to contact me. I mean, I would think 2 rooms with more than a handful of ants would warrant some kind of response. I guess not. Aside from the obvious ant problem, breakfast was good and the staff were nice.

3 new luggage carts pretty much were by the front door all weekend 7:00am Monday go to check out no carts. Checked 2 other times with no luck or even sight of one in use. So carry your stuff out while 3 carts are in the rooms of inconsiderat hotel guest sleeping or having breakfast. We have stayed at hotels that require leaving something to check out the lugagecarts, I. D. Drivers license, c card, or something the carts come back for others to use and enjoy there stay.

Great staff, but the facility itself is pretty run down. Clean though so that was also nice. If the rate was more around 75 to 100 a night I would give it 3 or 4 stars but at 170 a night it is 2 stars for sure. Other places to stay in the area are cheaper and nicer so go with them as last resort.

The staff from check in to check out were rude. Mary at breakfast was the only kind employee of the hotel. The first night we got to the hotel the entire room filled with smoke from cigarettes… at a non smoking hotel. We told the front desk, twice, to no avail. The room smelled so badly my children couldn't sleep. We were offered another room by the front desk, so we moved at midnight with two children to another room. That room ended up with a non working air conditioner. So, we moved to yet another room where we finally slept. The next morning, my daughter was laying in our bed and discovered our comforter was covered in something which looked like vomit from previous guests. We reported to the front desk who simply gave us a new one, no apology or anything. We left for the day, came back and our room keys no longer worked! The entire stay was an adventure, and not a good one. Down to the pool and spa being so cloudy I wouldn't let my children swim. If I could have left, I would have on the first night of my 4 night stay. But we prepaid. I would not recommend or go back.

Stayed here for two nights while in town for business. Great price and location. Breakfast is decent. Wi-Fi works great and simple to use. Showers are above average. Housekeeping staff is friendly and respectful. Front desk staff was very friendly and informative. Texas Roadhouse literally 100 yards away was nice if you want to grab a decent meal and don't feel like venturing out. Will definitely keep this place on my radar for my return trips to the area.

Staff was fantastic! Beds are comfy. Room was clean. Breakfast was delish. Hot tub could use a good cleaning. The hotel is outdated and has a faint odor. I would stay here again for an overnight, but probably not a long family weekend.

Rooms were very clean. Staff was friendly. It is located right off of I-80. The included breakfast had a lot to offer and tasted good.

Comfy room, good free breakfast. Easy going place. Not too full of itself, but still good quality.

NEGLECT… NEGLECT… NEGLECT! First of all they need to hire new cleaning staff. This place was Really FILTHY… the stairwell carpet had debris on it in the morning and still there when we returned to the hotel and they don’t believe in dusting around the spindles either. The room could have been better also. Tape on the wallpapered walls. There was a juice container behind the dresser that had been pulled Way from the wall. We asked housekeeping to clean our room and remove the towels we justnused and replace them and leave extra shampoo as I have long hair. After visiting the Pier… bed unmade, dirty towels still there and they basically ignored our simple requests. TV is BLURRY and hard to view… AND These beds are HORRIBLE… can feel the springs! The pool and hot are was so nasty.

Decent hotel but a little run down. Smoke alarm wouldn't quit beeping and was just told to take the battery out.

The hotel room lived up to is expectations (for the price we paid). Nothing fancy. The service was alright, but the staff were friendly and very helpful.

I really enjoyed staying here. Our room had 2 queen beds and a separate small living area with a couch, a comfy chair, a desk with a chair, a small fridge and a small microwave. Everything was clean and organized. We came down for the free breakfast at 6:30a and it was well-stocked. Staff friendly and smiling. Hot food was hot and cold drinks were chilled. They had potatoes, breakfast bagels, hard-boiled eggs, pastries, cereal, milk, juices, make-your-own-waffles, coffee, tea, and more stuff. I loved it, and will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Places to eat or buy more or less nearby.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. We went down for our sons navy graduation. The staff is unbelievably kind and accommodating. They changed our room twice for us no extra charge, gave us extra blankets, made sure we were happy with the change, our son left his phone in the room when we're changing rooms and they called me when we were at lunch and told me they charged it up and that it would be at the front desk whenever we got back. Love, love this place and the staff. Oh yeah… the free chocolate chip cookies all day were awesome as well! Thank you so much for the great experience.
