Don't get me wrong… The rooms where very neat and cosy. If you looking for just a good night sleep, this is your place. Anything else not so good. I couldn't even get a pair of matches at the front desk. And the breakfast they speak of a dry bagel. So basically there is no breakfast, bar area and the staff doesn't seem to like to answer questions as while. And the front entrances is very small. Still, a solid place however, especially if you don't wanna deal with Chicago traffic. A 45-50 minute drive to downtown Chicago on busy weekends. Which is every weekend.

First time I've stayed in an Extended Stay and it was excellent. The room was spacious, clean and well set up. The staff is personable and very hard working coming off a sellout. This location is convenient to shopping, dining and major roads. All the above and pet friendly.

I am only giving this place 2 Stars. We found it cheaper on an app and you would think going directly thru the Hotel that it would be cheaper but not the case at all. They do not give you clean towels or bedding unless you go to the desk and ask for them. You get no room service unless there more than 7 days. Why should we have to change our bedding in a motel. Elevator quit working while there toand there is no hot breakfast. Front desk staff was very nice but wouldn't stay there again. Rates are higher on Wednesdays than any other day of the week except for the weekend. We were there 5 nights. Not happy that it is cheaper thru a Booking app than thru the Motel.

This property is relatively new, is clean, well-organized and ready to handle most business traveler needs. The location is perfect for business in and around the Oakbrook area, with loads of free parking, a covered entrance (it was raining hard during our stay) and terrific food and beverage offerings at reasonable prices. The huge breakfast buffet is complimentary, offering a wide range of healthy and comfort food options. We will return!

Staff is very courteous & the welcoming of me and my service animal was greatful. I got piece of mind.

I visited Chicago to visit 4 prestigious universities and stayed in Skokie hotel Extended Stay of America. My room was just Ok to sleep-in through the night, cleaned but smelled like pets either canine or feline. The shower has no water pressure at all. The breakfast has no milk. Some people don't drink coffee or caffeine, especially athletics.

Over all experience was ok. Beds were uncomfortable and was charged extra money for an unknown reason. Difficult to get through to guest relations, on hold for 20 mins. With no answer as to why I was charged when I hung up.

The location is a little shallow, the room was nice, the check in process is harder than it should be.

It was an ok … noy so good … breakfast was very minimal. Only muffins and coffee.

Good place, to stay for short trips or even longer. Home away from home wth a small kitchenette, fridge and cozy bed.

This hotel don't even deserve 1 star. After a long 8 hour drive was looking for a decent and clean place to stay. When entered the premises everything was so dull, it looked more like a hostel than a hotel. As soon as you entered what you get to see inside is dirty laminated floor. You will be welcomed by the front desk person with few surprises which will make your trip experience so memorable — firstly there will be NO room service provided for a short stay. They provide on a weekly basis for long duration stays. You will have to come down to the front desk to collect clean towels. Secondly there Is no proper breakfast, there will be some muffins and coffee kept opposite to the front desk near the entrance. This was the first surprise, now when we entered our room our Windows were open and couldn't shut them and the warmer wasn't working, when informed at the front desk, we were given another room which was literally stinking, the carpet looked so old and dirty. Didn't feel like staying there, since we had made a booking and payment earlier couldn't cancel it. The stove in the second room was not working and had to call the maintenance guy to fix it. Overall if you don't want to screw up your trip with bad stay experience please avoid staying here! For the price I paid this a very bad hotel.

Girls night. Its was a great last time get away before our time together for a while ended. Just a nice clean. Basic room to chill on.

Stinky room, accusations from MEAN and RUDE hotel staff. Very LAME and not recommended on ANY LEVEL. They are theirs and will take ALL your money. Racist and BULLIES. Do NOT be good to this establishment as the whole system only cares about $. Worst stay ever even worse than a roach motel. Sad. RIC (rest in chaos) Extended stay who preys on the poor and favors the wealthy. Their karma soon comes.

Stayed there recently service was great, staff was incredible, Rooms were exceptionally clean, Cathy was great to deal with!

Dont stay here. The only good thing about this place was that they had a basic kitchen and free parking. So dirty and I found bugs.

PLEASE READ! My friend stayed here for work. Multiple weeks. This last week him and his roommate woke up with bites on their body. The first day they let it go. Thinking that they had gotten something at their joist. However after waking up the second morning they had gotten worse over night. DO NOT stay here! They were claimed to be BED BUGS! The lady at the front desk even said they were. The hotel told their company they would refund them, but did not fall through with their promise as they said they was not bed bugs in the room. Bed bugs are not always seen and they only come out at night so for them to claim that their wasn't not any is not okay with me. Bed bugs are not something to mess around with and this situation needs to be taken care of.

Hi, I came to town and I wanted a homey type of place to stay. Well to say the least I found it here! The staff was very nice. They were there whenever I needed something. Especially John & Cathy! When I come back I will most definitely be staying here again. Thank you once again!

Simple and clean and convenient.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME! When first arriving, you feel the difference. This is not a hotel setting. It appears to be a BARE bones experience. But it's not. The rooms come with a small kitchenette, your own dishes, towels and silverware. All of which you use while your there as if it's your own. Rooms aren't fancy, but everything you need is provided for you here. here is the difference: the staff. From Cathy (Manager) on down, this staff takes pride in their jobs, and their service. And honestly, I wish I'd found it years ago! When I think of all the money I wasted, and all the mismanaged places I've stayed in over the years, coming to Chicago, I realize I've found my "home away from home" Last nite, I went down to the front desk to ask if I could get an extra blanket. The girl at the desk was on the phone talking to a former customer/resident who called to find out how everyone was doing?! THAT should tell u how this stay will be when you come. You'll get to know: Cathy Alvina John Jasmine Mark ALL of whom are there to make your "extended stay" an experience that you'll be grateful for. Entry was dark and the front desk was vacant for a few minutes. Looked at a room and decided to stay at the Hampton Inn next door. Not a bad room just very bare bones. Great value though.

The night manager is just a awful person I don't understand what would make a person hate life that much… I was forced to check out a day early then was over charged… I was told the issue would be corrected it's been a month and I'm tired of dealing with it looks like I'm out $200

The general manager Cathy is really nice… the hotel is well maintained and clean.

Comfortable stay. For what I needed it provided me all. Stayed here for my dental treatment nearby. Cordial staff and everything maintained well. Can be a bit better with their services.

For what we needed it was perfect. Clean, quiet and personable & helpful staff. In and out one night with coffee and a granola bar as we left.

Stayed one night. Nice area to take dogs out, decent price, comfortable room. Would stay again.

One tiny bed, wanted to charge us $25 to switch to double beds. No extra bedding in the room. Front desk staff wouldn't answer the phone. Breakfast is a joke — double chocolate or bananna nut bagged muffins and some disgusting granola bars and coffee. Cleanliness not on point in bathroom, damage to floor in "kitchen". What kind of hotel doesn't give you conditioner? This place is worse than a motel.

Good location to North Shore at a reasonable price. Easy access on and off I94. Place is intended for longer stays, as the name implies so it. Is a cross between a decent hotel and a low end apartment. Room was modest but clean and quiet. Some cooking smells in the corridor as you would expect in an apartment complex. Not where I would choose as a vacation accomodation but that is not the niche they are going for. Clean, quiet, comfortable, reasonably priced.

I loved the service. It was clean and comfortable. Exactly what is needed is there. I hospitaría there again.

Really disturbing place. I was sleeping an alarm system went on at 3pm. With no reason. After two hours of checking in, I wanted my money back because it was so disturbing with alarm and fireman. But they did not return, anyway two hours after checking in I left that place! But no money return.

Kathy the manager is a awesome woman! We stayed there over 4 months and even had a baby during that time. Besides her being a great manager she also was always asking how we were doing and loved holding our baby. We even start calling her aunt Kathy :) we had a wonderful time here!

The location of the hotel was convenient for us in that it was a short driving distance from a shopping centre and a quick uber ride away from a CTA station to go into Chicago. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place seemed a bit run down. The room we stayed in had a small kitchen and a clean bathroom but the kitchen was fairly run down. You had to call down to the front desk to ask for everything you could need from the kitchen including the coffee maker. When we got the box of utensils and such for the kitchen the contents were not cleaned all the way and one plate had a small patch of food caked on it. Other than that the room was nice to stay in and everything else was clean. The place was fairly inexpensive compared to some of the other hotels in the area as well.

Here is the worst hotel I have experienced in Chicago area. The Manager in here is saying everything arrogant and they never clean the room again even though we stayed here more than one day. When I complaint the smoking smell at first room, the hotel manager said that it was the new carpet smell which does not make sense at all. If you want to stay here even it is free, do not stay here. You will feel really bad as soon as you see the guy seating at the lobby.

Enjoyably I enjoyed myself clean and House guesr is very polite as well as the employees that works thier.

Disrespectful and not helpful at all. Waste of money. We specifically told them 2 beds. They said call in the morning. Called and they said no we dont have any. Asked for a sofa bed or rollaway and they say they dont. Wish incan rate them a minus 5 but unfortunately its not available.

The hotel is nothing like is advertised. The rooms are very small for the two beds, the Wi-Fi is not the best. The Wi-Fi goes in and out on you and if you want anything better, you need to pay an additional $10 a day to upgrade to a premium internet connection. The staff is very cold and short and do not want to help you at all. The price that was quoted was not the price that was charged, as well as a $100 cleaning deposit per person you have in the room. All in all for the price that I for the hotel it does not meet expectation and I will never stay here again nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying at any hotel.

It barely deserves a 2 star hotel rating. Lobby floor was covered in bits of trash upon walking in. My room needed an obvious sweeping. Had to ask for TV remote for room, maintenance had to install a hairdryer and fix broken lamp cover upon my first 10 mins in room. Turns out you have ask for supplies for the kitchen if you want them. Why would you not at least provide glasses? Supplies were delivered in a clear sterlite tub wrapped in clear trash bags. They provided a coffee pot but if you want coffee cups and coffee, it was not included included the clear tub. Guess I'll have to call again. A showtime guide is in the room but the channel is just a repeated dish advertisement. No notepad or pen in room. Lastly, shampoo in room but no conditioner. For the price I paid, I've stayed in 4 star hotels for cheaper. It's sad I had to make this my only choice for the night.

This first time having problems there the manger is disrespectful last night me n a friend from out of town came to this hotel first room they gave us it wasn't clean then they switch rooms the next room had bed bugs on 149 bed bugs! Then we switch rooms again they checked us out a other room that wasn't clean 223 so she gave us a other room 107 we barley slept cause we thought bed bugs was gunna bite us this morning we tryed checking out and she was disrespectful didn't give us are 100 back there really disrespectful and a dirty hotel please don't spend your money on this hotel unless you want bed bug bites!

Ordered online and asked for a room for 2 and then at the motel they tagged me for additional fee per night to get double beds. First room smelled like smoke and the front desk argued with me claiming that is was a smoke free motel and that I must be smelling the glue from the flooring they put down. After finally convincing him to get me a different room we did get one that smelled better but the shower curtain was broke down so you had trouble keeping water off the floor, one drawer was broke, and the air conditioner filter was incorrectly put in so that the cover would not shut. I have had good luck with Extended Stays before but not this one.

Very good experience. The ladies at the front desk were exceptional. Cheap price with nice sized rooms. I highly recommend.

Hotel room is very good and it is worth for the pay. But breakfast is not good just two types of muffins with granola bars. One of the safest places in Chicago.

The bed slept well. That's the only thing that I can say good about this hotel.

We have been here for close to a week so far so good.

Went in to check out place. I't was dirty in lobby and trash outside on ground at entrance. Girl at desk was rude an not helpful at all. Warning, find some where else.

I'd give it 3 1/2 stars. I was there for a week at the end of September 2008. The place was as advertised, safe, clean, and practical (desks, lounge, kitchen with utensils, bedding, towels, etc. ). Room service was provided once a week but so what if I had to make my own bed and empty my trash. The access to local transportation was fantastic and that included access to O'hare. You can walk to the mall if you want to. There's no pool but access to Bally's fitness was included in the price of the room. The staff (with the exception of Barry (? ) ) was very helpful and very polite. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
