Broke down mattress so the mattress is not supportive or soft. Loud AC that doesn't cool below 70. Sickly sweet disinfectant that doesn't cover up the cigarette smoke from a prior smoking room. Same cigarette burned bedspread but the sheets were clean. Not worth the money paid for the room.

Literally in town for my mother’s funeral which is tomorrow. Phone in room doesn’t work so called the front desk from my cell and asked to have them break up the dance party happening on one side of the hotel and walkway meeting outside my door. It’s fricking midnight Neither issues were addressed. In fact the guys outside simply got louder. This place sucks.

It was called a Red Roof Plus. There was no fridge, microwave or hair dryer which comes pretty standard in all of the rooms I have ever stayed in. I was ok not having a fridge, then not having a microwave was pushing it. Not having a hair dryer put me over the edge not already being included inside the room. If you're called a "plus" in your name, there should be more than containing these already essential amenities. Otherwise very clean and relaxing. No housekeepers banging on the doors for room service was a plus.

Nice room, nice staff. They did however, overbook the night we were there and tried giving us a room that was less than what we paid for. After we called that out we got moved to a king suite which was nice. All in all though both rooms we saw were nice.

Ok first its not bad then you settle in and take notice the bed sheets had stains like possibly blood not 100% don't care ripped them off… Then shower, the shower curtain was moldy. But the hot water lasted forever I'd say if you are semi desperate you will survive here.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was on the small side but they do offer upgrades to a larger room with a refrigerator and microwave oven.

Rooms have all been remodeled but unless you get the "plus" room you won't have fridge, microwave, coffee maker or iron and ironing board. Even though you are spending 80 plus bucks all you pretty much get is a bed and bathroom.

Very nice clean rooms! Friendly staff. Hotel is quiet. Some guests there are weekly tenants. Rooms have frigµwave. Starbucks is in target next door. Hotel is in safe area.

I like this place, very convenient location. There is target right next to it and a plaza with many dining choices within 10 min walk! Depending what room you get it might be loud.

The rooms were really nice. They were clean, included a microwave and fridge, nice bathroom, and I particularly liked the desk area they had. There was plenty of parking and the hotel is in walking distance to Target and places to eat.

Clean and quiet. Good prices. A lot of places to eat nearby.

I love the poop stations they have all around the hotel for when you take your dog for a walk. Nice rooms too.

This is a good place to stay. I bring my dogs and they think they ar on vacation. Rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and courteous, next to Target, restaurants, urgent care, chiropractor, all within walking distance. My only complaint would be there is not laundromat, not even close.

Any way awesome price/"what you get" motel. Many restaurants near by. Target supermarket in walk distance. Quiet. Internet. Clean room. Doesn't matter our was without iron and hair dryer. You can ask and get them at the checkin for whole your stay period for free.

Whoever runs this property needs a pat on the back. I have never stayed at a Red Roof Inn that was so well put together, clean, & inviting. Not to mention, the level of customer service that the front desk provides is exceptional. I am thoroughly impressed with this property, the leadership at the helm, and the closeness of the proximity to Chicago. I would definitely return.

Clean and simple. Well worth the price. Employees were kind and courteous. Would stay here again. Interior decorating is a little out of date but you won't find a better value. Don't bring your wife here for your 30th anniversary. Stay here on all the business trips you take.

This place is absolutely disgusting. Rooms smelled musty, dust everywhere. The bathroom ceiling was falling apart and had mold. Not convenient. Overall would NOT recommend. It’s cheap… but I see why. You get what you pay for. Very disappointed.

I have been here since December 1st… complained about the cleanliness and not changing sheets, not leaving amenities, not vacuuming or mopping . Nothing changed. They told me since I was staying so long they consider me a extenrd stay and don't clean like that would if I was here on a short stay . But my rate is not cheaper. I know I should of changed motels but trying to save money. Really shady people that stay here.

Check in process was very quick, and there was plenty of parking available. Internet was easy to connect to; the speed was acceptable. The rooms were clean. The AC unit in one of the rooms started making a rhythmic thud in the middle of the night, but subsided after tinkering with it. Room service knocks around 9am, so be sure to put the DND placard in the lock if you want to sleep in late.

Older hotel but still in decent shape. Could use a little TLC but it was clean and priced Right for our purposes. All the staff I talked to were helpful and kind. The only issue was the cleaning staff and a bit of a language barrier issue cussing or room to not be cleaned one day. No big issue for me, just not used to dealing with this type of issue.

Best motel I've stayed at in years. Friendly staff. Great Wi-Fi. No fridge, unfortunatly.

Just spoke to Brandy at the front desk. Haven't even checked in yet and the poor service begins. She was super rude, didn't even say goodbye and just hung up when I was asking totally normal early check in questions. I'll provide an update after check in about the accommodations but if Brandy is any indicator, this is gonna be awful.

I hope you find a better place, was charged $104 for two normal sized beds. Though its right next to shopping complex and popular restaurants, it gets shady overnight. Place smells like cigarette smoke and the maid doesn't do her job. The management can be improved.

The beds are pillow top and very comfortable. They give you a choice of pillows: soft or firm and they have body pillows as well. The room comes with a coffee/tea maker, a refrigerator, a microwave and a safe. And they give you a gift box of snacks in your room. I highly recommend them and we'll stay with them in the future.

Comfy beds. Tall shower. Clean rooms free coffee all day. Close to shopping and gas. Stayed 5 days affordable. Not 1 problem. Very quiet. Overall pleasant stay.

The staff was so kind and polite here. The beds were a little uncomfortable but that's really the only negative I can come up with about our stay.

Hadn't stayed at the hotel since they started renovation. Looks really nice but beds were small and bouncy and bathroom is really small. Nothing to complain about.

We really enjoyed our stays. We came for Covering's 2016 event at McCormick Place and we needed a place outside Chicago. This place accommodate everything we need for the days (Sunday — Thursday) we were in town with a dog (boxer breed). We paid about $58 (include tax) / night for a basic room (no fridge, microwave, hair dryer, or iron and board). The area here are very nice and we feel safe with no road noise. This place is about 30 minutes driving into the city to McCormick. We manage to find free parking for all 4 days in Chicago. Definitely we would stay here again if we will visit Chicago again.

We stayed at red roof because we were traveling with our dog. The room was clean but had a strong pesticide like smell inside. Once we aired the room, it was fine. The location of the hotel was pretty good as it had a couple of restaurants nearby and was right next to Target.

Stayed the night, room was well stocked and clean. I was treated well and felt welcomed. I was able to check-in well before scheduled time. Location was good as well, eateries nearby and target store.

Highly exceed expectations! Didn't look like much from the outside, was expecting a basic motel, but the rooms were phenomenal — high quality everything. Clean, modern, homey. I would definitely stay again, especially for all that it cost.

This is not a "paid review" as someone is suggesting, look at my other reviews on Google. We needed a place to crash between events in downtown Chicago and were not about to pay the inflated $350/night prices for that weekend just to stay right downtown. We also wanted guaranteed parking spaces coming in late at night so nothing with paid self-parking or park-and-fly lots. I frequently stay at RRI all over the midwest (I compete with dogs and they are pet-friendly) and this one was recommended to me by two people. Everything was basically on par with the newer style RRI (the laminate floors and modern style furnishings). Check in was no problem, there was plenty of parking. We had no issues with noise or loud people. During the night, our AC unit got loud. We told the front desk the next day and someone came and replaced the whole unit. The new unit was also making a noise, not nearly as bad but the guy didn't think it was acceptable, so when we got back to our room there was now a brand new unit installed. TV and Internet worked. It was close to the highway and probably took us less time to get out to Willowbrook from downtown than getting to a hotel somewhere else downtown.

Unfortunately, we checked in to this hotel and promptly checked out upon viewing our room. The hotel was completely disgusting, to say the least. There was mold in the bathroom, which clearly had not been cleaned properly, and after pulling back our bedspread, we discovered a blood stain on the sheets and other various stains on the pillowcases. We did not stay even one night out of the three that we had book. My advice — RUN far away from this hotel. Save yourself the disgusting headache and book somewhere else. You couldn't pay me to stay at this hotel and I certainly would never recommend anyone else stay here either.

Room is very clean! only problem is the TV freezes alot. It is not cloudy out so not sure what the problem is. We stay on the road alot. So it means alot to have a clean room!
