Very spacious and very nice and very comfortable beds that's important to me.

The rooms were nice and the staff was very friendly.

I like that the hotel room keeps the bedroom and the living room separate. There’s even a door on the bedroom that you can close to shut it off from the rest of the room. The only thing I would change is to have a TV channel guide in the room.

Large clean and modern rooms. Free breakfast is awesome! This is my favorite chain hotel to stay at.

Our family stayed here for four days while visiting relatives and we were from out of state. Every single employee I had contact with were very friendly and helpful. We will always stay here when we visit.

Newly built, This hotel was very modern and very Nice. Beds were comfortable and breakfast room had all your basic's although Pool was very Tiny and there was no hot tub. Loved the cookies in the lobby and staff was very friendly and even let us check in early! 9/10

Room was nice. Hotel has a modern look and feel to it. Room was a bit small for 4 of us, but sufficient. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was really good.

I stayed there 2 nights for a business trip and really liked it. The hotel is clean and the king bed was perfect. I want a huge fan of the pillows, but I have a very hard time finding a pillow I like. The rooms look very classy and the attendants are extremely helpful and sweet (I had Nora, I believe). Breakfast offers a decent selection though I wasn't a fan of the eggs. They have delicious complimentary cookies as well. And Springfield itself seemed to a nice town to visit with lots of food options and historical sites. If you like Abe Lincoln, you should Def check it out. Even Walmart had a saying of his displayed.

Nicely updated rooms. Was strange that the blinds don't fully close. Pool is pretty small but us indoors. Breakfast was great and the dinning area is large and open.

The room was the definition of mediocre. Which was good for what I needed. The breakfast spread looked really good, from the quick glance I was able to take. But for the love of Pete, don't get a room next to the elevator. It howled constantly until everyone was asleep.

Our stay was very pleasant. The employee who checked us in was kind and knowledgeable. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We were impressed and would recommend to others.

Very nice hotel. Stay there with my elderly mother for an overnight on our way to St Louis. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Had pizza delivered to the hotel easy peasy. In the morning had breakfast (nothing special but entirely edible and included with your room) it was super convenient fill up with gas as the gas station is next door. And then hop back on the freeway.

We enjoyed our one night stay on 4/23/17. Friendly and accommodating staff members. Delicious free hot breakfast w/good variety. Clean hotel. The television was smaller than most hotels.

The location was very close to downtown. About a 10 minute drive which was nice. The lobby is very pretty and the rooms are spacious. The bathrooms are also very nice. They offer a large mirror and a large closet.

Great rooms, great beds, hotel was very nice. Safe and clean. If you feel so inclined, you can walk to the small little dam that they have there at the river less than a mile away — in which the old traffic bridge has been converted to a footbridge to preserve the old structure. You will have to go over the highway, but the road has a fine sidewalk. You will also walk by their historic (yet still in use) electric company. It's a neat little piece of history. We talked to a local man who had biked down to the dam to fish who gave us a quick run down of the area.

I was pleasantly surprised as I drove in the parking lot the building is quaint but very nice check-in was easy the front desk staff very professional the lobby very clean. Our room was on the 4th floor very easy to get to and quiet. Upon entering our room we noticed there was no odors whatsoever the carpets were cleaned everything was in order the place just look good. Our room had the usual amenities microwave refrigerator coffee maker Etc the bed was king size and very comfortable the bathroom a little spell that well stocked with towels and soap and very clean our room was divided into a sitting area and the bedroom. The continental breakfast was excellent they had sausage eggs waffles cereal yogurt oatmeal fresh fruit coffee and juice. I will be returning on my next visit to Springfield.

Great place in regards to value. Great price, nice clean rooms, good breakfast options. Would stay here again. We did have the fire alarm go off during our stay early in the morning on New Year's Day due to some freezing equipment. This wouldn't have been that bad if we didn't have our 18-month old baby and it wasn't — 5 outside! Needless to say, that was the end of us getting any more sleep. But the staff was very kind. Front staff and the breakfast/kitchen staff too.

Room was clean and well kept. Fridge was a plus. Pool was pleasant and open until midnight, very nice. Continental breakfast was good. No complaints here.

For the price, this was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed. The room seemed very modern and clean, and featured queen beds (where most in this price range would have double beds), but the five star rating is for the extras. The shower head was the large rainfall style, and had good pressure and heat. The A/C unit was by the bottom of the bed, so it’s not blowing air into your face. The breakfast had a good variety with actual glasses for juice and plates for the hot food. The indoor pool (though small), was a good temperature, and featured restrooms and a drinking fountain. This hotel has easy access to the highway, and is close to several restaurants.

When it comes to the location of the hotel, it's kind of tucked behind businesses. For a smaller hotel it's very professional looking with rates that won't rape your wallet, depending on what's going on in the area. The meeting and breakfast area are considerably roomy. They're perfect for small parties. The pool is on the smaller side but a good size of you have little ones that would like to swim. The service at the front desk is one of the best I've encountered so far from the many hotels I've been to.

Was a great time. The front desk attendant, Jack, was an incredible help. Room was clean and water was hot with good pressure. Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. Will be back.

Nice hotel. Rooms clean as well as bathrooms. Breakfast was good. Down side, noisy hotel. Ceiling/Floor is paper thin. Room above us sounded like a construction zone or a herd of elephants being held in there. Noise went on all night. Each room door has a strong closing spring that you can hear a door slam every time some one left or enter a room, on the entire floor and even on the floor above. Good hotel, but be aware can be very noisy.

This is a superb hotel! Front desk staff graciously upgraded us. Our room was beautiful and so clean, neat and luxurious for a great price. Perfect night spent in an amazingly comfortable bed.

Newer property. Very clean & comfortable. Quiet. Slept well. My wife & I loved the fact that there were 2 treadmills in the fitness center allowing us to both work out at the same time. The only negative was that we had to drive > 6 miles to find a restaurant that we liked.

The hotel is incredibly beautiful and very well maintained. The staff are very hospitable and courteous. The breakfast was very good, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, breakfast burritos, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, bagels and toast. Plenty to choose from. The biscuits and gravy were phenomenal and I plan on having them tomorrow. Great place to stay, I will definitely stay again.

Close proximity to work makes it easy to keep my appointments for a quick bite a couple times a day. Location is key, but the cleanliness of the hotel and the "regulars" give it the atmosphere which supports the reason I frequent.

Excellent choice for the money! Clean and neat with friendly service and a hot breakfast that can't be beat. Looking forward to staying at another Country Inn tonight in Oaklahoma!

Pleasant recent multi night stay. The front desk assistant mgr was very accommodating as we had to tweak our reservation. All the staff we interacted with were friendly — from the housekeepers to dining staff to front desk. Breakfast had a variety of decent warm/cold choices. We had family staying throughout the building. All the rooms were consistently neat. The one bedroom suites varied a bit in size with ours feeling a bit narrow. In the future, we'd probably switch to an open king-sized room as the separating wall made the space feel a lot smaller. In summary, a good stay & we'd be happy to return!

I chose this hotel mostly for the location as we were spending a weekend touring the Lincoln sites. The location is great — walking distance to most attractions. The room was fine but in need of updating — the lampshades had stains the the décor was tired. The bathroom was newly remodeled and very nice. Overall it was fine for our brief trip.

One of the best hotels that I went to. My family and I enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly, rooms was clean, bed was comfortable and the accommodations was exceptional. The free breakfast was an actual hot breakfast i. E. Waffles, eggs, sausages, hash potatoes, biscuits, etc. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

This is the best hotel experience I've ever had! I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the room and lobby. Our room smelled like fresh linen Fabreez which made the room so homey and inviting. After checking in I received a phone from the front desk to ensure the room was satisfactory. The breakfast was a standard continental breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was very clean. Did have some issues with the thermostat turning on and getting the room cool but figured it out. Easy to get to off the interstate. People were friendly. They had good deals and I would definitely go back.

Proceed with caution! We had the unfortunate experience of inquiring with this hotel for the availability of their meeting room. At the time they said they could hold it with a credit card and we could confirm at a later date. We ended up finding a much better hotel for 1/3 of the price so we chose to stay there at the Hampton and had a great experience there. We did not confirm the reservation with CI & S but unfortunately they chose to go ahead and bill us anyway for a room we did not use and did not confirm. When their mistake was pointed out ot them they made no attempt to work with us in any way, they simply stole our money and ran with it. I can't speak to anything else since we did not end up staying here, but be very sure you won't need to change anything or cancel as you will have to pay!

Nice hotel. Very clean and good location. The refrigerator did not work and the plugs on the bed to charge your phone did not work either but they had a good breakfast buffet. Also no ice machine on second floor. The coffee was served lukewarm also. Overall a good stay.

The hotel was nice. The staff was friendly but I would say could have been more welcoming. Bathrooms could have been better. Tub was small and the toilets did not flush well. Our door also got stuck a couple times. Overall, a little pricey for the quality.

Nice, clean rooms, though slightly small. Comfortable beds. Polite, friendly staff. Good location, right next to gas station and Bob Evans. Only about 4 miles from downtown.

Large clean rooms. Good free breakfast. Wifi was free and worked well enough to stream Netflix. AC didn't work the first night but they fixed it and worked great the second night.

Very clean, seems quite new. Stay here Elevator is slow, take the stairs. A little noisy being next door to a large gas station.

Very nice hotel. Great location as you have access to the bypass and can quickly get to anywhere around Springfield. Staff are very polite, friendly and professional. Rooms are clean and updated. Lots of outlets by the bed and desk for your mobile devices. Comfy beds with lots of pillows. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We loved the place. The management and staff always had a smile. The place was extremely clean. I can't say enough nice things about this place!

Please do NOT give this hotel your money! This was one of the WORST hotel experiences of my life! We had a mix up on our reservations and they REFUSED to change the date or work with us. They took our money for a room we never even used… or saw… or stayed in. The only thing they offered was "discounted" rate to stay a new night (on top of the night we already paid for! ) … we were not looking for a refund at the time… only a room we already paid for. We ended up canceling our trip because like most working families an extra "discounted" night stay was not in the budget. We came into town for Presidents weekend to visit all the Abe Lincoln attractions… in turn we ended up driving back home 4 1/2 hours… making a total of 9 hours in the car with small children all because the staff was UNWILLING to work with us. I was kind and polite to them, I never once raised my voice, or asked them for anything other than to switch our reservation date… a reservation again… that we already paid for! The staff was rude and the hotel general manager was even worse. If you are a loyal Club Carlson member PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE there are other hotels in the area to stay at.

We liked it. It was clean. It smelled new. The front counter lady was working her butt off that night.

The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and decorative. The pool was warm and clean. Breakfast was wonderful I enjoyed the yogurt/parfait bar with fresh fruits and granola :).

Hotel is new so that is nice. Nothing special other than that. Nice rooms breakfast was terrible.

We stayed there for the last weekend of the State Fair and we were very happy with all aspects of this hotel. It was so clean and the staff were so cheerful and helpful with everything. The breakfast buffet had hot fresh food at all times. Even during breakfast they were cleaning up any messes made and tables were wiped down ready for the next persons. Very well run place and I would definitely go there again. My only complaint would be the pool is too warm.

This is a very nice motel that we booked online. The room rate seemed to us to be very reasonable for the quality and size of accommodations. Our double room was spacious, clean and quiet, and the beds were quite comfortable. The bathroom was also large and nice. The night and day staffs were courteous and friendly. We noticed a large plant of some kind nearby when we arrived, but it turned out there was no noise or odor associated with it. Will stay here again when in the area.
