We stop twice a year at least to this hotel. They are very friendly and clean, we love that we can take our dog and it’s right by the highway for us to jump back on and keep traveling. In the last 4.5yrs that we’ve went there was only once due to Covid that they didn’t have room for us.

The “heated” pool wasn’t heated. Found trash in the room upon arrival.

Hotel staff is very rude. The room was dirty.

The manager at this hotel is very rude and has made several rude comments to my spouse. We have enjoyed coming here for years but Jeff’s attitude is horrible. I would highly recommend the hotel promote Dave to manager. He is much more suited for the position and is always friendly and helpful every time we see him. The room had trash in the floor when we first got here. I picked up the majority of it. My kids and I left the next day and when we got back, my four year old found a dried up used condom. I thought he just had more trash and I picked it up and was disgusted. When it was showed to the hotel staff, they tried to say it was ours (it was clearly old). A manager has still not spoken to me about it but we post about it on social media and apparently the staff is talking about how we are trying to get a free room out of it, even though that was never even mentioned. I am very disappointed with the service we have received at our last two stays here and with the cleanliness of our room. We have had no one come to clean our room and I had to call to ask for our room to be cleaned and was told you no longer get room service unless you ask for it.

Our whole experience is great.

They were real accommodating when I ended up needing an early check in that day! All staff were so friendly! The 🏨 was in 👍🏻 shape! The free breakfast and dinner selections were more expansive out on the tables than I have ever seen! They had 👍🏻 perks too! I will stay again!

Always a good experience, never had a problem staying at a Drury inn at any location. The food has always been good, staff is friendly and rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable.

Friendly receptionist, rooms are quite, free breakfast & 5:30 pm kickback is good as well. You spend at least $20-$30 dollars for breakfast & dinner any way so why not stay here. The rooms are really big & everything is clean.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Check in was friendly, helpful and fast. Everything was really clean and kept up!

It's a great value for families. Breakfast and dinner are provided plus they have free popcorn and soft drinks and adults get 3 complimentary drinks during dinner. It's in a good location as it's near a lot of restaurants for lunch and also close to Kroger, Wal-Mart, Starbucks and an AMC movie theater. They have an indoor-outdoor pool, a hot tub and an exercise room. The staff is friendly as well. This is the only place we'll stay when we're in the area. Since it's an upper midrange hotel we also don't have to deal with the riff raff that places like Motel 6 can attract.

Very impressed with the service and benefits of this hotel. The facility was very clean and modern. All staff members were friendly and said hello in passing. Shout out to the maintenance man. The hot tub wasn't working (hot but not jets). The maintenance man was there immediately working on it. Poor guy tried so hard and took a lot of time trying to fix it. The water was warm, though and that's all we cared about so we enjoyed it. Props to David (manager? ). Young man, very friendly. There were 4 very young children in the pool area unattended. Having 3 kids of my own, I was concerned (accident waiting to happen). Selfishly, they were also cannonballing into the hot tub and were pretty loud. I informed the front desk. David, in a very professional yet laid back child friendly manner, addressed the situation. Bonus: There was a full spread of food for dinner included with the cost of the room. The food was surprisingly good and there was a large variety. Each 21+ guest also receives 3 free drinks from the bar. I don't know how this hotel profits given the bonus food, but it's a welcomed benefit. The room priced were comparable to your standard chains. We'd definitely stay here again. Side note: There was no lotion bottle in the bathroom. That would have been nice. I didn't ask for one, though, so I can't say they're not available. In all, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me. Reiterating the friendliness of all staff members. Well done.

Clean, comfortable, homey facility. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Kickstarter offerings were delicious and plentiful! Room was spacious and clean; bed and pillows were very comfortable. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Amazing place and staff! They had a free taco bar and 3 drinks (for adults) or free soda. The manager made sure we were satisfied and had all the accommodations we needed. Very clear. And comfortable rooms and facilities. Will definitely make and effort to stay with this establishment whenever possible.

Absolutely zero complaints. Our room was fantastic, the popcorn and soda was a bonus, bed was completely comfortable. Breakfast was very very good. We will definitely return. Front desk staff was great. We stayed here while others were camping at Rend Lake, not to far of a drive. We will return if the service and cleanliness remains the same.

Easy access, friendly staff, good breakfast and the secret pre-dinner party for guests. Nice rooms and our bathroom was big enough for a dance party! We didn't want to travel through St. Louis late in the evening and were able to get a reservation at 6 p. M. And still got our AAA discount.

Good accommodations for a quick overnight stay. Breakfast was at a reasonable time. Pleasant staff. Rooms were clean and no issues with amenities at all. Overall a pleasant stay.

Overall, it was definitely a great value. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Rooms felt a little outdated but nothing terrible. Free dinner and breakfast. Dinner was pretty bad as far as quality but it was free and unexpected on my part so I hate to even complain. Breakfast was much better and the staff was very helpful. I would stay again.

Staff was very helpful and polite. We got a great room with a excellent king bed plenty of room to get comfy. The bathroom was spotless. We were given vouchers for complimentary drinks. I would and will be staying with Drury Inns and Suites as long as their near by.

My favorite hotel (we stay every year at this time to see family during 4th July holiday) been to other hotels within 30 miles they dont compare to this Drury Friendly desk staff, tons of amenities, room type accommodates my family of 6, affordable and clean. My main complaint on this hotel is the food choices never change for dinner or breakfast. I love me some bacon but its always sausage. My kids will eat hotdogs for one day but not every day — so wish it was more of a va…riety when staying longer than 2 nights. But Im sure other people like that it doesnt change so they know what to expect …
And — pool is always to cold for my younger kids so they end up in the jacuzzi But we still come back over and over because we love it!

Still an excellent place to stay while on the road. Polite well trained staff and great rooms for a good price even before a senior discount. Good free food during "happy hour" and a great free breakfast that is hot where it should be hot and cold where it needs to be cold. Also, they provide free drinks and even hot popcorn which you can serve yourself as much as you like. Wish there were more Drury Inn & Suites in Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, and Wisconsin located along the interstate highways so that I could stay in as I travel back and forth between Wisconsin and Georgia visiting friends and family members. I like to drive around 400 miles each day before looking for a "clean and safe place" to stay and sleep overnight.

Clean room and bathroom with comfortable bed. The morning breakfast made my children happy for the road. We checked in late, so missed the happy hours with complimentary snacks and drinks. There is a Steak N Shake next door that is open until midnight.

If there were more stars I would give them. It was like being at Disneyland. Employees ridiculously nice. Hotel ridiculously clean and set up so cool and hip. Complimentary food and drinks in the evening and great breakfast. Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. The Drury Family really has it figured out. Great job☺

Breakfast was hot and easy. Not much seating so get there early or share the tables. Rooms were clean. Atmosphere was bright. Easy quick check in and out. If you make reservations and are light sleeper the ask for a room not facing highway. I'm not a light sleeper so the noise didn't bother me. They told be as I checked in that the room has some highway noise but they provide ear plugs or noise Machine to cancel out the nosie. Very considerate staff!

This was a pleasant surprise. I drive between St. Louis and Louisville all the time. There are in my opinion only 2 and 3 star hotels along the way. This is a very nice 4 star hotel. Excellent rooms, with all the amenities. Great climate control, clean, and quiet. Service was outstanding and a very nice breakfast in the morning (included).

My first time at a Drury. Very clean property. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast but nothing to rave about. No bar but they do have a free happy hour, which we missed. Easy to find off the highway.

One of the best places I have ever stayed at. The staff is excellent in every way, the rooms are large, comfortable and spotless. As a handicapped senior I appreciated the room with a walk in shower and a nice recliner near the window. They offer a buffet for both breakfast and dinner that is quite good. In addition, they also allow up to three drinks to adult guests including mixed drinks, beer or wine. They also allow 60 minutes of long distance phone calls at no extra charge. Who could ask for more?

What a great service model! Clean hotel, friendly staff. Wonderful smell of popcorn machine off lobby. Place was abuzz when we arrived-plenty of luggage carts. Very close array of restaurants right here but why bother when their happy hour is a meal itself with salad, hot dogs, chili, build your own nachos or burritos, or baked potato. Complimentary drinks and soda/popcorn for the kids. And, hot breakfast tomorrow. You can tell all the guests here are really happy-neat cubbies to eat and sit with electronics, pool, etc.

This is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We have never stayed at a Drury before and now we will be life-long customers. It started with the friendly staff (the manager David is extremely friendly). The elevator is randomly fast and smooth. The rooms are excellent with a large bathroom. Pet fee is cheap at only $25 even with 2 pets. The social hour far exceeded our expectations with free chicken strips, nacho bar, salad bar, soups, baked potato bar, pasta, hot dogs, popcorn, soda and 3 free alcoholic beverages per guest. You couldn't ask for a better hotel or staff!

Had a great experience here! The employees were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and nicely furnished. One problem I have in a lot of hotels is not enough outlets but this room had so many I ran out of chargers for them all. The breakfast was delicious and even my extremely picky 4 year old enjoyed all of the food. They had a huge variety of food and drinks.

Had our first bad experience. Very uncomfortable bed with pillows that should have been thrown out a year ago. Went down for coffee at 5 a. M. After a night of little sleep. Desk clerk asked how my night was. Decided to be truthful. Got an apology and a full refund. Did not expect that. Have had nothing but comfortable beds at this chain.

We had a wonderful experience at the Drury Inn. The one thing that I think needs clarification when registering is that when guests are asked if they want pet free and smoke free, they are given a choice to be on a floor that is totally pet free at all times. This was not made clear and we had a barking dog across the hall and realized that a dog may have slept in our room/bed the night before. Because I have allergies, I would have appreciated knowing this was a possibility. Thank you!

This is a nice place to stay, for a night or several days. Really appreciated the evening food on a cold night when I didn't want to go outside. Free drink from the bar for adults. Breakfast was very good, a full hot meal. Homemade hot oatmeal is excellent! Room was nice, very clean, comfortable beds, well supplied bathroom with soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser in shower. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is beautifully designed I love the colors and the way it's decorate. The room was beautiful and clean and so quiet I have stayed in plenty of hotels but never one so quiet with that said my problem was with the beds and pillows the bed was hard as a rock and the pillows deflated and do hard to get comfortable. I feel if your going to put so much into a hotel the beds could be more but I'm not much into a stiff bed if you are then you will be fine. I want to add they have free snack, drinks and breakfast and it was all very very good. The spa was so nice and it's winter time so the pool is half in and out so it's alittle cold but I enjoyed it after being in the hot tub it was a lot of fun. I would have gave it a five but the bed just was so hard for me my husband and mother inlaw.

Traveling with a baby and a dog. There was no evidence that this is a pet friendly hotel other than it is. We felt perfectly comfortable letting the baby crawl around on the floor. In fact, the place was immaculate. Dinner and breakfast were a nice bonus and the staff was super friendly.

We have stayed here twice now. I love the large suite we have stayed in. It has a living room type set up which I nice with little children. I love it that we can also bring our dog. The staff has been very kind and helpful when needed. Very nice place for our family to get away!

Incredibly well lit parking lot. Right off of the interstate. Very clean and looks very new. Free breakfast and dinner that includes a three drink ticket. One of the highest quality hotels I've stayed at regardless of price.

Great location with some 24/7 restaurants nearby. This was a great place to crash after driving all day. Drury is my favorite hotel chain. They're always super clean with comfortable beds and unexpected perks compared to similarly priced options. Highly recommended.

Great hotel which includes free dinner and breakfast as well as complimentary drinks. Hotel and room was very clean. We had an issue in the middle of the night not related to the hotel, however the hotel manager assisted us without hesitation and treated us with respect and was very professional.

My cousins and I stayed here two nights for a family reunion in nearby Centralia. This was close to the interstate and easy to get to. The staff was very helpful with places to eat and shop and the amenities were exceptional. We'll definitely stay here again whenever we come back.

The hotel and their staff were amazing. Our original room smelled like smoke, and the staff didn't hesitate to change the room and have someone check out the situation. I loved their kickback hour where you can be get food and drinks!

I was extremely pleased during my recent stay. The hotel was extremely clean. Dinner was provided and registered guests were also offered 3 free beverages. In the morning breakfast was provided. Hands down, this was the best breakfast in have had at a hotel. I will definitely stay at a Drury again.

We had the most amazing experience at this hotel. We always stay at a Drury Inn because of the customer service and how wonderful the hotel is. We'll never stay at another hotel besides a Drury but this hotel was above and beyond! Ron the manager was absolutely amazing! We ordered food and he made sure we had everything we needed to have a nice sit down dinner with our family in their dining room at 10pm! He Didn't have to do that. This is going way above and beyond what he needed to do! Thank you Ron for allowing us to have a sit down dinner with our family really late. We had such a great dinner because of you! We also travel with a chocolate lab and they made him feel so welcome, and everyone loved him! He couldn't go anywhere without making a new friend. He's a part of our family too. Thank you Drury Inn for allowing dogs to stay at your hotels so our entire family could be together! This is the best hotel experience we've ever had. It's so clean, everyone is amazingly nice, the pool and patio area is amazing and there's always popcorn! Thank you again!

This Drury still feels like brand new. When passing through My Vernon there is no better place to stop and rest. Staff was fantastic and very accommodating, room was huge (2 queens on the end of the hall), was great for ourselves and our 14mo old. Plus free happy hour drinks to wind down are always nice at Drury.

Nice clean hotel! Continental breakfast and dinner included. Three free drinks from a small bar during dinner time. Indoor outdoor pool and hot tub. Every employee we came in contact with was kind and considerate and helpful! It was well worth it!

We have enjoyed our stays at Drury for years. But this new inn takes it to another level. Our king suite was huge, comfortable, and quite. No noisy air conditioner to disturb your sleep either. So nice to have a bite to eat and drink without having to get back in your car, find a place, then wait in line. Closest place to home we have found without blowing the budget completely. I stayed at Drury Inn & Suites Mt. Vernon Thursday to Friday. The location was convenient. The room was very spacious. I stayed in a double queen room and requested a roll away bed. (roll away bed was 10 dollars extra charge) The pool was great had extended to an outdoor pool as well. There is even a hot tub. The included dinner food around 5:30 til 7 and soda and popcorn is a nice addition. Also they serve a decent breakfast. Only thing that I can think that could have made it any better would be to not charge extra for the roll away bed. Since extras aren't extra is their catch phrase.

Our first time staying at a Drury Inn and was very impressed. Great price point and service. The kick back and food was very good. One thing from being a 5 was the pool was freezing. We could barely go in and we have little boys who never get cold.

We had a fantastic stay at the Drury this past weekend. 28 family members got together to have a belated Christmas family gathering. The facility is beautiful and the staff is fantastic! They made our stay very enjoyable. We had 2 suites and 6 rooms and they worked with us to make sure all our rooms were together. We've decided we need to do this again. The manager let us use one of the meeting rooms so we could all be together for supper. I can't say enough good about how great the weekend was. Thank you for helping our family make some great memories!

We love staying here while on road trips. Most Drury Inns are great, but this location has exceptional staff. They always go out of the way to make sure we are comfortable and that we enjoy our stay. I go out of my way to stay here at times just cause I'm that much of a fan.

We are sold. The evening kick back with food and drinks along with an amazing free hot breakfast (eggs, sausage, waffles, doughnuts, bagels, cereal, etc) is worth the great price and nice rooms. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I'm a repeat customer to several different locations.

Although they controlled visitors around dinner well, the pool was another story. I was told by a pool attendee that they were having a birthday party there that night. No worker knew of this or helped with the overcrowding. As a result, my children couldn't enjoy the pool as they had planned.

It was a nice hotel. They are pet friendly which is what we were looking for. Just pulled up and they had a spare room. The beds were super comfy and lots of fluffy pillows. The breakfast is also good. Would recommend staying here.

I love this place! I've stayed here several times with my family while traveling & I am repeat customer. The place is brand new, very clean, with great, friendly service, you can't beat it. It has a pool, hot tub, exercise area, popcorn/snacks & drinks at the bar & sodas. The continental breakfast is great with every type of food & drink imaginable: eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, doughnuts, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, muffins, cereal, milk, juice, coffee & soda fountains. I can't say enough good things about it. I always stay here & will continue to stay here when I travel.

My husband and I were ready for a break from driving. We were very impressed with the accommodations, free dinner buffet and free drinks, yes please. The room was phenomenal, very clean and comfy. All of the staff were very nice :) we will definitely use this hotel again.

We have stayed here two years in a row traveling from CO to NC and back, and will absolutely return. Seriously, stay here if you can.

Smooth. After the chaos of packing the car to the brim and then powering through 8 hours driving in the middle of the night… this place is the epitome of Heaven! Clean Everything. Free meals. Free Wi-Fi. Free cable tv. Hdtv with HDMIs. Mini coffee maker. Mini microwave. Mini fridge. Digital Thermostat. Free shampoo. Free bodywash. Free dinner. Three free drinks. Free breakfast. Oh and they let my wild runt of a spoiled dog in here as well… Seriously… this place will be four stars before long.

This 3 star hotel is definitely teetering on being s 4 star hotel. I was blown away by how nice it was inside AND being fully pet friendly as well. If you have pets and want a nice stay, go here. It is clean, comfortable, the staff is friendly, and there is a little convenience shop for your needs. Great place to stay.

We just recently stayed one night June 14 — June 15, 2015. For the price you really cant go wrong. The room was clean and very nice. The hot tub and pool were great for the kids. They enjoyed being able to swim in the pool while we relaxed in the hot tub. The food in the evening was nice and the drink tickets were also a great added benefit. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was great. The only problem we had was the exhaust fan in the bathroom wasn't working and we have three boys. It was not very pleasant to go into the bathroom after them and to have everyone take showers the next morning and I wasn't able to use the mirror in the bathroom. I had to go out into the room to get ready.

Really nice place. The staff was friendly and the room was really clean and everything seemed super nice for a 3-star hotel. At night they give you a free supper buffet with three free mixed drinks. The food was AMAZING. Breakfast was no different. Buffet style and fantastic food. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The hotel is nice, however, I was charged twice for the room. Once on the card I gave at the time of booking and then once again on my employees card for $140 each time. My employee has been fighting with them to remove it and it is exhausting. Bad bad bad experience.

This is our second stay in Mt Vernon in the last week. This place is easily the nicest, best deal. Its not the cheapest, but a very fair price for the quality. I travelled for a living for 3 years and this is the nicest place (in this class) I've stayed in! The staff was super nice and helpful. The place is spotless and smells clean. The beds are comfy and the bedding is new. The hotel has only been open for a few weeks. Older reviews may be from another building. Everyone offers Wi-Fi now — but often it doesn't work well, nor is fast. I always run a speed test so I can compare apples to apples: I think the results can best be described as 'Superman-fast! ' Download: 63.09 Mbps Upload: 56.01 Mbps Ping: 42 ms I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.
