Upgraded except for the floors. They need to pull off their advertisement for pool because it is NOT open. Breakfast advertisement needs to be removed as well since the piece of paper taped by register stated no breakfast offered until further notice. Stayed two nights and didn't see housekeeping u. Til 2p minutes before check out. Main Point… Advertise only what you are offering.

Not a bad motel in this price category. A quiet and peaceful place, despite the fact that it is next to a busy route. The room is probably the best one we have stayed in this trip. Quite a long time stood at the reception, but it was probably just an accident.

Room was tastefully decorated. Bed was super comfy. Pillows were pretty flat. Tub was nice and deep and water was super hot. That was perfection. The pool was closed and looked like it needed repair. Breakfast was disappointing. Not much selection. Worth the money though.

This place is disgusting. They don't even clean or vacuum. Hair everywhere, corner of a dope baggy on the floor (see pics). No vending machines is absolutely ridiculous for a hotel. There is a halfass soda machine that the coin slot don't work. I will never stay here again.

Check-in was extremely slow. I asked for a king bed and was given a double queen. The staff member wasn't sure if the room was taken or not so they went to the room to check. When we finally got in the room it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. It was noisy at 2a. M. As if people were clamoring around in the hallway. When we woke up to leave we spotted two bed bugs in the room. One on the bed and another near the door.

Only place whose rate was ACTUALLY as listed. Front desk mgr Uvi was extremely nice and helpful. We checked in late at night and left early. He was there for both and made our stay pleasant. Room was clean and neat. Breakfast was provided, which was a nice surprise. It was just a continental style, but was still nice to have.

Would give no stars if that was an option. I guess they just like to paint their walls fresh but not bother about the dusty & stained carpet. Room was dusty as well. I can not believe I spent 80 dollars for this.

The lobby was newly renovated and very clean. The rooms could have been a little cleaner but for what we paid it was acceptable. Bathrooms were newly remodeled also. Easy access to expressway. Breakfast was a little disappointing but yet again… for the price it was ok. We traveled with our two dogs and they were very accomidating.

The rooms are clean and spacious far from the center. The building is undergoing renovations, but by cons I would not have taken it away. Breakfast is not provided with juice and tea.

I Stay at the Super 8 Motel in South Indianapolis on Vizler Road was very enjoyable. All three, the two young men that checked me in, and the lady who checked me out and helped me get my breakfast was absolutely great. They were very good employees.

Well you can tell this place has just been renovated. Not the best renovation the hall going to our room was not the cleanest. Our room itself was okay. There are extra charges to the room if things come up missing. Very strange for a bath towel that cost $25. The room was clean no bed bugs. The person at the desk was okay we came in in the evening. It is a cheap motel. If you can upgrade to a better hotel!

The owners have gone above and beyond with remodeling. Updating. Making it a feel good place to stay. The employees from the top to the bottom are polite respectful. At the same have keep on top of their job requirements. From A to Z it's definitely a 5+ star rating for a place to stay.

After all the years of using motels, this place takes the cake. There was an extremely long walk to my room. I have health issues walking. My friend and I went out the side door to smoke and there was a sign that maintenance said you have to walk all the way around front to re-enter. I can't keep doing that so I blocked the door open and stood right there against the wall to smoke. Then the maintenance man started giving me a hard time about the door being propped open. Really? The hired help giving a customer a hard time? Was just dozing off when across the hall, they got their big dog barking whistling for it that woke mine and started her barking. Then after I heard a vacuum, and a convention in the hallway right outside my door. I never got to sleep. I'll be getting another motel today. Not worth one star, but had to give it one to post this review.

This is a super place right off the highway. The remodeling isn't fully done yet but it looks fantastic. The price was great. I gave them five stars for what they've done great place to stay.

I've stayed at this hotel periodically years ago. I've stayed here periodically recently to and the ownership has changed up and you can definitely tell in a positive way. This will be my go-to place when I want to get away. Thanks Super 8 you're awesome!

I enjoyed my lodging at this facility. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. Also the room was very comfortable and clean. It's in a great location located by many stores and restaurants. Will definitely recommend and return in the future! Thanks for having me.

They are still doing remodel. Cleanliness and maintenance work could be better. The carpets have not been replaced in the remodel yet and they are pretty gross however bathroom tile is new and nice. Tub is of nice size and beds are comfortable enough for price paid. New lobby is very nice however and parking is nice also. About 10 mins away from downtown and right off the interstate. Fridge and microwave in rooms are nice and small continental breakfast is an added benefit as well. Wifi is included in your stay for no extra fee. Rooms were very cold upon our arrival but the front desk staff was friendly. Outdoor pool but is closed year round.

Price reasonable considering busy weekend with pri convention but they promised us a room with a fridge and microwave and didn't receive it. We paid cash but left a debit card on file and they still charged us an extra 50$ deposit even though we spoke with them before we arrived and they were okay with it. There toiletries suck. No hair conditioner. I have never encountered such cheap people running a hotel. No hot water had to take a cold shower all while it was freezing temperatures outside. Definitely not okay. They should care more about customer satisfaction than they do saving a few dollars. We will not be returning ever again. But if your looking for a cheap hotel and your easy to please then this place might work well for you.

This place was a complete dump. Currently remodeling the lobby however they need to remodel the rooms more. Outdated broken windows in halls stained carpets, outdated linens. Beds very uncomfortable, towels damp, no hot water available, shower was ice cold. I seriously debated on sleeping in the car. Pictures are very deceiving. Location in the slums. Place is a DUMP.

I couldn't even rate this place. It was horrible. Holes in the wall and bedding. Stains on the rug and bathroom floor. We called the night before and the front desk said the rooms were newly remodeled. We left after an hour, no money back and went to a new hotel. It also advertised breakfast and from the way it looked in the lobby nothing was going to happen. Overall worst experience ever.

The hotel is a short drive from downtown (took around 10 minutes). The exterior is freshly painted, and a an active, significant renovation is going on inside. It was an acceptable economy room when all I wanted was to sleep. The bathroom in the room was newly remodeled and clean, though seemingly unfinished — there were no towel racks, for example. I'd stay here again, and I'd guess the significant improvements being made will make for a pleasant experience in the long run. It's "unfinished" now, but for a low-cost place to stay it will do. I'd stay there again.

BEWARE! This hotel is ‘under construction ‘ but more like condemned. Very busy weekend in Indy with multiple events and this hotel is bottom of the barrel, last resort. The entire building smells like mold. This hotel shouldn’t even be open, code violations left and right. Biggest concern is all the key entry doors to the parking lot are not locked and left open. DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE! Sleep in your car!

My family and I stayed in this hotel from October 5, 2017 to October 7, 2017. They had a sign on the door stating they were renovating and such, which was no big deal. We got in and we checked in and went to our rooms. It was a decent sized roomed, but you think with four people and a baby staying in there we would have trash cans a little bit bigger than the size of a two liter bottle laying flat. My mom asked the front desk for extra pillows and they said they would bring them by the room shortly. An hour or two goes by, still no pillows, so my cousin goes to the front desk and asks again, once again we wait and then about another hour later, one of the people working called down saying that she couldn’t find any pillows and that she didn’t have the key to the laundry room, so we couldn’t get any extra pillows. Each bed had a sheet, a blanket and then some kind of curtain thing that was to be used as a blanket I guess? I’m not really sure. The bed I shared with my cousin was leaning on one side like too many people sat on that side of the bed. Nobody ever came to give us new blankets or new towels or anything or the sorts. Our trash cans were full numerous times and we had to take them to the door that was outside and throw them in that trash can — which was full for two days.

I had asked for a hotel when they knew I was over 21 with cash and/ or Card and still didn’t want to serve me a room just because. They lady on the front desk was extremely rude. Didn’t know how to handle a costumer that was willing to pay any amount of money for a simple room. No mater if it was a one or two bed room. I strongly don’t recommend this hotel. Please find some where else to go! Unless you don’t mind the rudeness.

Helpful and polite staff. Finishing up renovation, so many new amenities. Close to the highway and has a good breakfast included.

Excellent value for the price but certainly run down. Rooms have a faint foul smell and accommodations are dated. Nevertheless, for the price, it's reasonable. Edit — Several members of our group who stayed here reported that they woke with numerous bug bites. Whatever value this place offered is not worth the unsanitary conditions. Revised from 3 stars to 1.

We were here for a big convention and every room in the city was taken, so we were stuck sharing a room with a ridiculously dirty carpet and bathroom without a fan. It wasn't the maids' fault at all, I'm sure they aren't provided decent vacuums or the time required to get the sticky spots out of the floor; they cleaned the linens well and gave us plenty of towels. The place is clearly poorly managed. There have been boxes of toilets in the hall for weeks, pallets of materials in parking spaces, and thick dust on the ceiling showing that they recently replaced the curtains but didn't clean the grime accumulated around the old ones. At least they had biscuits and gravy for breakfast.

They're currently under remodeling. It looks cheap, and really not like a place you'd want to stay, but after spending a week here… I liked the bed, the A. C. Was slow but got nice and cold, and the water was nice and hot. Not much else to do at the hotel, but if it's to sleep, it's great.

First room offered had a heavy ammonia smell. We requested to be moved and our second room was a lot better. Bathroom was new and clean. And then we killed a large spider the next morning. They're in the middle of a major remodel; I would avoid the hotel until it is finished, as the quality of the rooms are uneven. Even when the hotel is finished, I'm not sure I would stay here again, but the cost is ok.

This hotel is currently being renovated. While they are making progress with the rooms, the lobby and hallway areas were disgustingly dirty and worn. The bathrooms were all new and very nice the entryways to the rooms had new tile and very nice and the furniture was all new bedding was clean and new however the carpets in the rooms have not been replaced and are also old and disgusting. I think they're making good progress, but not quite there yet.

The room was dirty housekeeping would only take the trash What in vacuum unless I will be out of the room wouldn't do cleaning of it. In the room I stayed restroom was very clean and modern I believe that it was the best part of the room. I just think they need a little bit more attention and detail I'm cleaning this of the rooms. The phone in the room didn't work so whatever I needed I had to walk to the lobby. Even though they could improve uncleanness the staff was very kind and helpful.
