When I made the reservation I requested a king bed with a roll away. I called back a couple days later to add any additional night and found that 2 rooms where booked instead of 1. The gentleman I spoke to was great in fixing this and confirming the reservation. He did apologize and commented that this happens often when booking online. When we got to the hotel we were told that a roll away is a first come first serve and they were out. When I asked about The reservation she asked if I booked online. I advised that I did but also called in and added a night and confirmed it was with a roll away. I was told that The guy must not have checked and they were all spoken for. The only other option was 2 double beds and that would not work for our group. It was too late to go look for another hotel so one of us had to sleep on the floor. Once we were settled I went to get ice. The ice maker on the first floor barely gave ice and when I went to the 3rd floor a note was on the machine that it was broken and to get ice at the front desk back at the 1st floor of course! Both nights we were there the power went out in the middle of the night. This highly concerned us since my dad has an LVAD and needs power for his device 24/7. Last but not least, When we went to check out they had charged us for the roll away bed and the woman at the desk didn't know how or couldn't remove it so she had to wait for the manger to walk by so she could have her help. My mom is disabled and can't stand for long periods so it was rather challenging for her to stand for 15 minutes trying to check out. We were in town for a visit with the transplant team at St. Vincent and We anticipate to have to visit Indy frequently. We will not be staying at this comfort in anytime in the future.
