same race individuals. They have a we tolerate you vibe because of the money. With certain individuals. Lil creepy. They searve breakfast. 7:00 to 9:00
to certain individuals. But cooking goes beyond that. You will feel the vibe. Just don't be a certain individual.

Nasty trashy and bug infested.

You robbed us of our security deposit. The chic I talked to tonight to try to get it resolved was very rude and unprofessional. So… on top of getting robbed, we checked out early because we had an uninvited guest in the bed we were supposed to sleep in.

Do not stay here! We got a suite on 1/26 and they did not have any hot water. Clerk told us she was calling GM and that there was nothing they can do about it and. I refunds were given but that they would see what they could do when the Gm became available. We sat in the lobby waiting for 3 hrs before they finally agreed to give us a rain check for the following weekend. While we were waiting the clerk told us how she could not lose that job because it was all she had in the world and her whole life story about how she was abused and had to move here from NJ and was paying $280 a week to live there and that sometimes they don’t have hot water when everyone is filling the hot tubs at the same time. We kept asking to speak to the GM who was just never available and would only speak with her and she wasn’t allowed to give us another room or help us in any way without the GM. So we came back the following weekend and they said the problem had been fixed we put our stuff in the room and went out to Indiana Grand for supper and gambling when we got to the room at 10:00 we found that there was no hot water again.

Great place to rest your head.

It's a nice clean cheap hotel with cable TV and two beds nice rooms clean showers good people work there everything works good great place to stay for the night.

A comfortable place to stay with extended stay rooms for those needing a place to call home. I feel very safe here as the security walks the grounds daily and nightly. Plenty of places around to eat. Close to the highway.

The room itself is ok I have, but they didn’t vacuum the floors in either room I’ve been in. They don’t give you new towels/clothes nor do they let people if your here for a week stay eat the breakfast on top of that I’m in a room with no A/C. Two days in the making. Not to mention they haven’t asked me if I’m ok. I’m not changing rooms. Maintenance could be better that’s for sure. I don’t wanna pull the race card people just need to do their jobs properly.

Checked in great service.
Went to room, nice clean bed with a microwave and a mini fridge. Went to set clock on microwave (no other clock) and noticed the microwave bolted to the fridge and the fridge bolted to the floor. (I later found out this was due to past users who stole these items).
Went to turn on the TV-no remote-broken from the last room user and not replaced.
Excellent cold air conditioning especially with the 96 degree days.
When I went to take a bath, found no stopper in the tub nor the sink to save water. Had to use a wash cloth to clog the drain.
Breakfast was good-yogurt, bacon, sausage, boiled eggs, 4 cereal choice (you have to ask for the milk) and fruit, orange juice and coffee to drink.
Not a bad room for the price I paid of $55 a day.

It is located in Main Street in Greenwood, right on I-65.20 minutes south of downtown Indianapolis. The rooms were clean, and we'll kept. There is a back patio connected to each room in the south side of the hotel. They have a Continental breakfast, cable TV, and free Wi-Fi.

Terrible place to stay! Don't waste your time or money. Hallways smell of stale body odor and mildew and are hot. Room dirty, had to ask for clean blanket because bed cover so disgusting. Pool not filled and doesn't look capable of being used w/out serious work. Red Carpet Corporate should be ashamed. Have tried contacting w/ no success.

Absolutely appalling. We weren't expecting 5 star accommodations but we were expecting more than we got. There is absolutely NOTHING on Gods green earth that would constitute us ever returning. This place is disgusting and management acts like its no big deal because we shouldn't expect much. Short lady at desk exact words "what did you expect this is not the sybaris" COME ON! SHOW SOME CLASS!

Worst place ever. Went through 5 rooms and none were cleaned or had a working TV and the 5th had blood on the floor. Asked for an upgrade and were told we had to pay the additional price and if we weren't willing to stay in the room for full price we had to leave and got refunded our money and were kicked out at 11:30 pm!

We stay here about once a month and OMG… recently we have seen a BIG change in this place! The rooms are SO MUCH CLEANER, the breakfast is better. The whole environment has improved drastically. Glad to see it, keep up good work!

Clean and affordable. Convenient location. Outstanding staff, friendly, attentive to detail. In that regard, a special THANK YOU to Claire for going above and beyond. Her genuine regard for others speaks volumes in a way that encourages ongoing customer relationships. It's the little things, the simple gestures that can make a stay truly unforgettable. She by far a great asset. Very appreciated.

My husband and I stayed there last night for our wedding night. We requested the Cesar Court suite and it was great. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi, very relaxing! We will definitely be staying here again. Could really use an update though, the outside doesn't look the best and the hotel is a little expensive in our opinion. We paid $151 with Expedia and a $100 deposit that we got back at check out. Overall it was a great stay for us.

Super outdated and musty smelling. Definitely needs some updates to the room. Booked it for 2 nights but could only stay for the one night due to not being comfortable. Only thing that was nice was the Jacuzzi.

Do NOT stay here — Had the misfortune of spending Saturday 3/24/18 at this hotel. We ended up being stranded in Greenwood, IN because of a terrible snow storm. We called many hotels and all were booked. The instant you walk in you notice the terrible smell. If that weren't bad enough the rooms are old, BUT worse than that it was very dirty. We ran out of toliet paper and needed another towel. Called the front desk and we're told they were OUT of toliet paper and no clean towels! How does that happen in a hotel? The hotel has many No Smoking signs but every part of the place reeked of smoke. Then the following morning we found a live BEDBUG on the bed, inches from my 9 year old. I was appalled and disgusted. Had to delay driving home due to the bedbug issue. Told the hotel clerk about the bedbug and she was very nonchalant and only offered 50% off.

Very home like feel from staff. Nice, friendly, quiet, romantic. Get away. Like on social media to find deals…

We stayed one night in this hotel on our way home from Fl. Upon entering the hotel we found it dingy and outdated as others have mentioned. The lady at the counter was friendly but we noticed she left us standing at the counter while she went out, probably to the room we were going to have. She did this three times. She said she also cleaned the rooms. The Room itself was large but outdated, clean but could have been cleaner. The bathroom fixtures were a harvest gold which we took out of our house 20 plus years ago. The carpet did not lie down on the edges but curled up against the wall. We went out to eat supper and when we came back we noticed a man standing in a room since the curtains were not pulled shut. The TV had some porn channels which the lady at the counter told us about. I take it by way of the "fanta suites" that some of the patrons like to watch that stuff. Anyway there were not many channels to choose from and the reception was not all that great. In the night there was not any noise. No one coming down the hall, no one getting ice. No one, zero. Other than the man we saw in a room as we drove in I think we were the only ones in the hotel that night. It was kind of creepy. I would recommend that you not stay here. We got up and left at 6:30 am and we were glad to be out of there. Didn't stay for breakfast. I would never go there again.

The whole place was dingy. The tub and sink in the room were stained and the sink drain had garbage in it. The blinds didn't cover the ground floor windows all the way and had holes in them. There were various stains from spilled liquids on the box spring, walls, and various other places. We prepaid for 4 nights and only stayed one night even though it was prepaid. When leaving, staff were helping a drunk resident out and one housekeeper exclaimed, "It smells like pee in here" when she opened the door to clean the room across from ours. We couldn't leave fast enough.

Love this place! Amazing prices and the Fantasy suites are very cool! Very clean, I would suggest it to everyone!

As always a great time! These themed rooms are fun and different… We have stayed in about all of them they offer from La Cave being our favorite to Arabian Nights being our least. The price is a tad bit high at $161 after tax but as long as it doesn't raise anymore we will continue to visit.

The rooms here are clean. They do not allow smoking at this location inside of the rooms. They do not allow pets either. They do have complimentary breakfast for the guest here. You can get rooms by the week but not necessarily at a weekly rate. They accept cash payments or most major credit cards. It is in a prime location however and the rates are very competitive with their neighboring competing bussiness. There are as many restaurants gas stations and local stores as close by that you could as for. There is even a Red Lobster within walking distance. Also if you are here visiting scouting your next employment opportunity than you have came to the right spot. There is an Express Employment Temp agency exactly one minute away from this location. The guest service here is very friendly and are very attentive to the needs and desires of the guest. A pretty good place for anyone on a budget. As well as children friendly.

Went here and got the forest room. It was well kept and clean. I did not notice any smells of anything like that that other reviews mentioned. The room was one they had already renovated and the Jacuzzi tub was AMAZING. Sat in it for like an hour using the jets to work out knots in my back and shoulders. The front desk woman was polite, and joked around with us. She apologized for not greeting us as soon as we walked in (less than 30 seconds after we entered, she had been filing something and didn't hear us! ) We checked the bed because of previous reviews and found no bugs, the bed so SUPER comfortable though. My only complaint was not something they could help, we were looking forward to breakfast but due to a kitchen malfunction they didn't have the set up we were told they'd have, however, they still sat out donuts and coffee so that there was something. I recommend it if you are looking for a brief getaway, whether it's by yourself or with a partner.

Where do I start this place is a total nightmare. Date night for mommy and daddy gone totally wrong. Checked in just after 10pm for the Fanta Suite room for the rate of $179 although online priced at $129 paid a $100 deposit as well. Get to the room completely outdated and smelled like mold. Went to run the hot tub and absolutely NO HOT WATER. Called the desk said someone was coming to check. Flipped on the TV while we waited what a joke total static and couldn’t even see anything. Decided we wanted our money back within 20. Was told they do not refund although we were only there 20 min moved us to a different room. The room was actually amazing however again no damn HOT WATER. What is the point of renting hot tub suites with No hot water. After going back n forth with the desk person (she probably didn’t deserve my anger however she choices to work there while bashing the place herself) the owner comes in. Tells us he “bleed” the line and to give in 30 min. So we did still no hot water. So after almost 2 hours messing with this disgusting ran down place finally got our money back but only because we would not just give in and basically demanded our money back. The owner actually hid from my husband so he didn’t have to speak to us directly after promising the hot water would work. Honestly don’t know how this place is in business.

At 3 in the morning we had to move our sleeping child and you a different room because we were getting ate up by at best please and at worst bed bugs on top of the room clearly just not being clean and the bed having dried blood on it. The next room we were moved into had hair wrapped around the soap in the bathtub. In the morning I kindly told the housekeeper about the hair in my bathtub and that I also would like a few extra towels so that the three of us could all have a shower for the two night stays. Then I waited 5 hours for the housekeeper to finally come and wipe the hair out of my bathtub. Waited another hour for them to bring me a towel so I could give my son a bath. 2 hours after that I went until the front desk lady I would still like another two towels so that we could all shower in the morning. Her reply was " realistically you only get two towels per room". Every time I needed someone from front desk I had to literally search for about 20 minutes and then deal with very nasty attitudes. Even though I waited 5 hours for a housekeeper will come clean up the hair out of our bathtub I still tipped her. I have been very polite and very understanding. Yet I have got nothing but attitude back. On top of that both rooms that we were in had ashes everywhere and pot stems. I gave a ride to another person staying within the hotel who said he found a dirty syringe underneath his bed!

This place was absolutely disgusting and I have never received worse customer service from a lodging in my entire life. I was driving all day from KS to pick up my son from camp the next day. It started storming and poured and poured for my entire trip. I knew that I would get there late. How late I wasn't sure but very late none the less. I called to let them know my situation. Driving all day in a deluge possibly a good 6 hrs or more off schedule. I was assured that would be no problem. Fast Forward to a little past 3 am. I had to pick up my son at camp in a nearby town between 9 and 11am. I go to check in after witnessing a drunken altercation in the parking lot to be informed that my reservation had been canceled and I had also been charged for the room. I'm envisioning a brand new altercation in the parking lot. I asked if they received my call.

Great renovations in process. Front desk friendly and helpful. Needs a couple updates but good place on a budget. Will be returning.

I don't think I would stay here. I walked in and found the girl who works at the front desk coming out of the restroom with a black man shoving money in her pocket. If I recall correctly her name is Alisha. Her boyfriend walked in and started cussing at her and they had a fight in the lobby area. A friend of mine saw her another time and she had been smoking crack with the guy who claims to be her boyfriend. My friend said that the Alisha girl snorts meth in the bathroom as well. Said she could hear her sniffing in far too long to just be sniffing. The hotel has bed bugs and roaches and other biting bugs. The rooms are outdated and I didn't appreciate being disturbed by housekeeping at 5 PM. I mean who does that?!? And to pay dam near $70 for a room. Not quite. No way in the world I would stay there.

When we got there late at night, a last minute decision, the man was super friendly and happy and he made us feel welcomed. We had the basics, bed, towels, small fridge, microwave and also a small walk out patio for smokers. We don't smoke but enjoyed the night view! A Big Problem is there is no electric plugs by the beds. For my CPAP machine, Cell Phone Charger etc. A Big disappointment and very important to me! I had to unplug the TV so I could plug in to charge my phone! The other thing disappointing was not enough coffee. Only 1 pot for breakfast for everyone, though they were not busy, it worked out for us. Hotel was Clean and they had an Awesome Breakfast!

Horrific place, people, owner, and amenities. Front desk went straight from handling money to food in the kitchen/breakfast room. Drug deals in the parking lot and drug users in the bathroom. The 3rd shift lady was rude and her boyfriend I assume that was lingering in the lobby. The room had fleas and bed bugs while our friends had a couple German roaches in the room they didn't stay in. This place is a nightmare that doesn't end. Oh don't not forget the very young looking girls that checked in with the owner the first night we stayed. Worse a week later. I don't have the words to describe the hotel just don't.

Nice TV's, had a fridge, microwave and Wi-Fi. Kinda of iffy people stay there.

We stayed in room 119 and it had two full size beds. Mine wad infested with bedbugs and when I complained the came, swept the top of the mattress put new sheets on and I continued to be bitten. Please do NOT stay here, its pretty rank.

I would NOT recommend staying here. The hallway smelled horrible. There was a dog in the room above us that barked all night long. Even after calling the staff they did nothing to stop the dog except they would talk to the dogs owners in the morning. Who let's dogs stay in hotels like that? I was not happy. It needs updated badly. And the pool is closed due to disrepair. As well as no remote in the room.

Oh my Lord… I don't know what happened to this place but I was terrified. It used to be a wonderful venue for romantic getaways… And now it resembles something that you might find in a post-apocalyptic era depression.

The hotel was very run down it was opened in the late 80's and you can tell it hasn't been updated or fixed since. There are holes in the wall, a box TV like it was 2004, no remote, the beds are very hard, the pool is "under construction" aka never coming back into use, the paintings from the wall are even missing. Only good thing about this hotel was the front desk customer service was fairly friendly.

Overall had a great stay! We were in the Space Odyssey room building C. Hot tub was oh so relaxing. Spaceship bed was neat. I would say some updating needs done and a bit more cleaning. Our room was fine but the laundry room (people live there) and by one of the exit doors kind of nasty. Not many TV channels to choose from. Radio missing dials but we managed. Need some carpet. Floor was oh so cold. Jet dial in the wrong place. Had to get out of tub to get to. One exit door is left open so anyone can walk right in. Housekeeping walked in on us while we were in the tub. Staff was great. Friendly and helpful. Once again we had a nice relaxing time. Might go back for the Cinderella room.

Me and my wife have went there for years. It has really gone down hill. We stayed in the alien invasion room. It was filthy dirty. Had clothes from prior guests. There was poop on the sheet! Yes poop! The remotes did not work and the phone did not work. When we checked out they didn't have enough money to give us our deposit back so they charged us $20 for a towel that we didn't have. We will never go back there again! The pool has never been filled ever! It won't let me review this unless I give it at least one star! It needs to be negative stars!

This is most terrible hotel I have been to. The rooms and hallways smell unusual. The hotel is not maintained well at all. The hotel "prohibits" smoking yet I see cigarettes lying in the hallway. The picture of the pool is false. The pool was clearly not maintained the water in the pool was green. The mattress had unusual stains on them. Would not recommend at all.

I don't usually review places but this is just terrible. Please don't let the pictures fool you. We decided to go here since it was one of the few places available for the Indy 500. Upon entering the building I realized that I made a big mistake booking this place. The halls are dimly lit, the halls have a strange odor, the beds and carpets have stains all over them, most of the lighting in my room don't work. Overall I did not feel comfortable staying there. This is by far the worst hotel experience I have had.

We booked our reservation with Red Carpet Inn on Jan 5, 2016. We had planned our trip for the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500. My entire family planned to be there. We reserved 2 rooms with fantastic rates, only $212 per room for 4 nights. That's the benefit of booking early. We arrived at the hotel around 5pm. We were greeted by a friendly young lady. She welcomed us and asked for our id's, plate #, etc. Upon pulling up our reservation, she went to the back. She was gone for 5-10 minutes, returning with an unfriendly man. He didn't say hello, only "your reservation was declined and you will be charged race weekend rates", adding another $200 or so per room. We were caught off guard and simply asked him to explain what happened and why the change when we had our confirmation in hand. He said, "If you want to stay here, you pay more". My sister-in-law was extremely upset like the rest of us. She said, "Let me get this straight, our hands are tied b/c all rooms in Indy and surrounding areas are full and you're a crook". He immediately made us leave and said there was no room for us there. Now, anybody in this situation would be upset and possibly say something out of anger. She simply stated what he was trying to do to us was crooked. When the reservation was made in January, their hotel wasn't thinking about the Indy 500 race weekend being a huge sell out. The bottom line is he didn't want us to have the rooms at the better rate.

Barebone rooms, old TV'S and a very limited selection of channels. Not the worst spot I have ever stayed, still nothing to write home about. No smoking rooms, of course that's not the hotels choice. There are patios on most rooms. Pool was out of commission.

Pretty sure a large centipede ran across the bed while I was in it. Then I looked under the bed to see if it ran there, and seen so much garbage and dust. Looking forward to talking to the health department because someone not doing their job.

For $50 a night I guess you get what you pay for. The light fixtures didn't have bulbs in most of them. It smelled funny. The fridge still had an old half drank drink it. Not the best, but the beds were clean. Which was nice.

This is the most outdated hotel I've ever seen … the themes are really good idea but sooo 1990s … they would make way more money if they just updated the hotel! … jacuzzi was great we stayed in the Arabian nights suite well room lol because it was so small couldnt be a suite so yea one star just for the nice big jacuzzi!

This has to be one of the worst hotels I ever visited in my life it was a spot on a towel and the housekeeper charge 10 dollars for the towel I will never in life pay 225 dollars for a room and call for more towels at 12 o'clock at night and be told I have to come out in the snow ice cold and "bring your used towels to the front desk in order to get new towels" I warn everyone to stay away from this hotel. The staff is extremely rude I watch the housekeeper JUDY argue with a guest provoking the guest instead of defusing the situation I'm looking to file civil suit for my deposit deduction for a towel BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM THESE THEIFS.

What did I like about it? Absolutely NOTHING, the room was outdated, the whirlpool had soap scum and water spots all around the whole thing. Something had been dripping down the mirror and was being hidden by a fake plant that needed to be cleaned. The heart shaped bed was hard and the didnt even have a sheet that even closely fit the bed. It was late when we got there and was tired from driving so we went ahead and slept. In the morning I was quick to just leave. I told the lady in the front desk about my concerns and she said she will give us a discount to stay another night in a diffrrent room!?!? Umm no We got there around 1 and was out as quickly as we could. I want my money back because this is by FAR WORTH $$150. Save your koney on a differnt hotel because this IS NOT WORTH IT.

I would recommend this place to anyone, room was clean and staff very nice. The price was good and we'll worth it!

This place could make a lot of money if they just followed this advice (Do all these things and take well lit photos and put them on your website afterwards) : Get the electrical fixed. This is going to probably be the most expensive thing that you need to change but DO IT. Add more lightning in EVERY room including the lobby. It's too dark and it makes it look dingy. Cover over the murals. I'm sorry but they are not quality murals and they make the rooms look smaller because the walls are so busy. Make the rooms better themed using lamps, pictures for the walls, and other design elements instead of using the murals to set the theme. Get rid of the creepy mannequins in the lobby and all of the fake plants and clutter. The front lobby should look clean, modern, and professional. No one is going to take you seriously if you have so much junk in your lobby. And the lobby furniture is outdated. Put some neutral colored furniture there or cover up the old furniture with new, solid/one colored, modern fabric. The breakfast area looks great and you should base what you want to do with the lobby off of that design. The cream colored chairs and the organization is nice. Get rid of the old tv's in the rooms. Especially ones built into things. Also, get rid of the AM FM radios built into the beds. Hardly anyone listens to AM FM radio anymore and every time you mention that you have it, it's hard not to laugh because it's not what anyone in the modern world would call a "feature".

A last minute booking to FantaSuites on Friday, February 15, exceeded our expectations. The staff we dealt with over the phone and in person were professional and courteous. The room theme was romantic, I could tell that whoever did the mural, which wrapped around the entire room, put a lot of time and love into it. The bed, furnishings and whirlpool complimented the theme. It was a great way to spend our anniversary together. We will be returning soon.

The concept is good, but the rooms stink. What decent motel today allows smoking in the rooms? The least they could do is air them out. We went out and got our own bottle of Febreeze and applied it liberally to the room surfaces. That seemed to help, but a guest shouldn't have to do that. The room's jacuzzi was nice, but we couldn't get the hot water faucet shut off, so it ran (slowly) all night. The towel racks were falling off the bathroom wall. They put CFL's in the sockets, which don't work with dimmer switches, so no "romantic" lighting. It was a quiet atmosphere. They advertise WI-FI, but fail to tell you that it's only available in the main lobby. So, no computing from your room. They also have the ice machines in the buildings shut off to "cut costs", according to the sign, so you have to go to the main building to get ice. All together, it was an unpleasant stay, and I doubt much that we'll be back. For the price ($119 plus taxes), it simply wasn't worth it.

I kept looking for the outline of the dead body. I will be sleeping in my clothes which I will be performing an excorsism on and burning. GOD help me. Super bowl so nothing else is available now I know why there are rooms available. Please pray for me! The tampon in the parking lot was a nice touch.

Though a few minor updates needed the overall experience was wonderful. It was a bit rusty on the outside of the hotel but the room was so pretty. Will defentily stay there again. Want to try all the rooms. It was very clean and the staff was wonderful. Felt safe and secure there. We stayed in Ceasers Court and I had alot of fun. Would reccomend to friends.

The pictures on the website are nice, albeit grainy. There's a reason why they don't show detail! We didn't even stay the night. We had just gotten married and were looking for something fun, and got the desert room. Everything was shoddy and threadbare. The whirlpool was dirty, the bathroom was decaying, the floor sucked at your feet, and the chairs were so manky I didn't want to put my coat on them. We didn't disturb the covers of the bed for fear of what we'd find — — we sat on top of them and I was itchy minutes afterward. There were stray dogs fighting in the parking lot and the sliding doors lead directly to them! I kept an eye on my car the whole time. We stayed for about an hour before the whole place got to me, and they didn't reimburse us even though we hardly did anything but put our suitcases down! Never, ever go! The best thing we got out of it was that we have a story to tell everyone now.
