It does the job for the traveler that has driving and partying plans. Not in the city but close enough. Not expensive, yet roomy enough. No frills. You have to get your kitchen equipment from the desk. Smoking rooms. They need an update tho. Didn't like the bed the most. It was cool tho.

Location was more convenient that I anticipated. Getting in and out of Chicago felt pretty quick. Unfortunate that they didn't have a cot/pull out bed. Also despite some of the materials advertising fresh fruits for breakfast, there were only packaged muffins, oatmeal, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and granola bars.

Customer service was the worst ever. Front desk staff, rude unfriendly and appeared annoyed by any simple question. The room had an lingering stale odor, We were told our room would not be cleaned because we weren't staying a week, In order to receive clean towels you have to bring your dirty, soiled, wet towels to the front desk, Mode of transporting? No plastics bags, bins, Nothing. Very unsanitary. And not to mention the towels were literally rags, frayed, dingy. We actually bought towels from target to use. Iron in the room didn't work, upon request for a replacement there werent any and very nonchalantly told, I can't give you what I don't have. The 2nd floor reeked of the smell of marijuana. No ice machine. Breakfast was coffee and muffins. Displayed in a worn and dirty table. Worst experience ever. Spend the extra money, Go anyplace but here.

First room they gave me they did not clean the second one had a bad smell.

Great price for a location near the city. Room was clean and spacious.

DIRTY! Pulled the covers back and there was a DIRTY sock and hair in the bed. Staff is rude and cleaning service is HORRIBLE. Don't waste your time on this filth!

Clean rooms in a quiet area. Perfect for long term trips with the convenience of a kitchen.

So I checked in Friday night and Saturday I kept smelling this foul smell which I thought was coming from outside my room. I could not take the smell no longer and start looking around only to look under the kitchen cabinet and see the bin half filled with garbage and the fouled smell was cabbage that the previous guest cooked and left in the bin, there no one really clean the room. I told the rude lady at the front about the situation she was trying to say it was my garbage I could not believe it. They need better staffs here especially at the front count. Can't believe this lady implying I was the who cooked and then come to complain. I did not even cook up until that time.

The staff here has been excellent. Professional and friendly makes me feel welcome. Every question I've had has been answered. I would recommend this Extended Stay to anyone. Keep up the good work!

Staff very friendly. Rooms were good. Only thing I didn't like was you can only get coffee during breakfast.

The extended stay America near Chicago was pretty decent. It was the first time I had stayed with them. I didn't like the idea of the lack of a traditional breakfast, but rather a breakfast to go. I understand it will save money in the long run, though, so I'm okay with it.

At first glance, the room was very spacious. They have a kitchen area with full size fridge, stove top sink, and provide a pamphlet stating you can ask staff for any kitchen utensils free of charge. Dogs are welcome, and smoking rooms are available. For someone from out of town, it would be a very convenient place to stay with family. There were a few issues unfortunately. The room was not very clean, the bathroom in particular toilet, floor, and shower had hairs/ urine splaters. Also a bit of an inconvenience, not providing an ice machine on site, and the breakfast offered consisted of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, muffins, granola bars, and oatmeal all packaged.

Resonabley priced, military discount and friendly staff. Great room for what I paid for, defiantly clean on arrival. Bed was comfortable, pillows not too much would really need to ask for more. Love the fact they have kitchenetts that's what sold me on staying. They give you plates, pots, utensils etc. Plates were great, pots not too much but only because they are obviously worn. They can't buy new pots for every guest. So I recommend you bring your own. I brought a big pot for pasta/boiling chicken and my own frying pan. No oven! Just putting that out there in case you haven't looked at the pictures yet. I stayed in a smoking room and it did have a strong scent which I expected but a little more than what I've experienced. I went to walmart and got two plug in's and some air freshner. Literally everytime I walked into the room it smelled of sweet Hawaiian breeze. The only downside I really had was the room service it wasn't good. I stayed for two weeks. Each week I was given one room service clean. It's extended stay so they don't clean your room everyday. But if you want additional cleaning days you can get them for a fee. All they did was give me new towels, vacuum take the garbage out and replace the garbage bags, clean the toilet and the inside of the bathroom sink. The dressers/bed side tables weren't wiped down and WHAT BUGGED ME THE MOST is that they did not clean the bathtub! Like what room service involves NOT cleaning the bathtub!

I stay here every few months and it has always been a friendly, clean and convenient place to stay. I like cooking and they have kitchens and anything you might need to do some home cooking while away:)

Stayed here to be close to O'Hare for my flight the next day. The room was very nice and clean. I will remember this place if I am ever in the Chicago area again. The staff was great!

Sorry but I will give this Hotel 1-Star 1. It is extreme complicated to come in on the Check-In. 2. I had a hears in my bed! Pfui! And yellow point! I don’t need to know where is coming from… :-/ 3. Near this Hotel is nothing… no shops or anything what you can buy Not recommended.

Not a typical hotel as far as room housekeeping goes and it shows. Must improve on cleanliness. Should add febreez noticeables in common areas to remove the trash and cooked food smell in the hallways… Not a great first impression.

It is very good to live in. The front desks are very kind andfriendly. The bad part is that they would not clean the room everyday, and they provide only a little things.

Stayed there there a week ago on Saturday, check in over the phone was a breeze. However when we got there the problems started. I had confirmed my my room and they had said it was guarantee, I got there they had given my two bed room away. Would not have been a problem if there was two people but we were 3. It was late and we were very tired so it wasn't very fun waiting for them to figure it out. There was problem after problem, we finally figured out that they had to kick people out of their room to accommodate! Who does that? Especially us not having the room cleaned before hand. Either way we said screw it and just wanted to get some shut eye. Half way thru the middle of the night someone randomly walks into our room that has some sort of master key! Long story if you value your safety I would recommend going elsewhere!

Smells like wet dog as soon we walk in the room our bathroom toliet was disgustingly dirty. This is My First time stay and I'm sure this will be my last time stay. The front desk service was very friendly and welcoming thats about the only thing I liked about this place.

Everything was great. Only thing I didn't like was the breakfast… Coffee and a granola bar.

I was not a happy camper first sign it was not going to be right was got here and had to wait for a person to clean me a room. I got to hotel after 10 pm rooms should have been ready. Next ordered a pizza the delivery man went to wrong hotel when he finally got to me he came inside put my order on the table and I will be danged if the table didn't fall so now my food is messed up instead of wanting to wait I took the food and said we going to make the best of it. Got to room ate later on went to go to the bathroom how about the toilet won't flush really wow. Turn on the sink in the bathroom And water is running on the floor. And to add insult to injury pop vending machine don't work and front desk person who checked us in was not the most knowledgeable to anything. Other than that did sleep good bed was very comfortable room the arrangement was nice and cozy my room was 137

Very good stay Quality of the hotel is going down. But overall good stay. Price comparison to others in the airport area is not good. As you have the option of a better hotel chain for $15 — $20 more. This hotel will nickel and dime you.

Check in was ok, guy at front desk seemed frazzled. Room was fine, freezing when we walked in, clean. Bed was comfy, sheets were thin, had to turn temp up. Has a full kitchen and fridge, with pots/pans/plates etc when asked for. Bathroom was fine, didn't have shampoo, just soap, and the shower curtain almost didn't fit the length to cover the water from coming out. Back door into building wasn't working so we had to walk around. Check out was fine. "Free breakfast" was bars, prepackaged muffins, and instant coffee.

Exceeded my expectations. Clean, comfortable and accommodating. The free Wi-Fi is painfully slow.

This place is gross. First if the weekend manager is very rude. She scoffed when I asked for new towels and a toaster. She was busy laughing with a co worker. I must have interrupted their conversation. After I got the towels they were very stiff and didn't smell to pleasant. When I mentioned this she scoffed again and said well all out towels are like this sorry. I ended up buying my own towel and the coffee tasted old and got me sick. Though the location is good. The weekend manger should learn some manners. I ended up leaving here early to stay elsewhere.

Cockroaches! Some Indian dude acting like he is black at the end of the third floor. He keeps saying racial slurs. He said he was Poonsabin. He kept crying every night so loud I couldn't sleep.

Accommodating staff; had issues with a room and they were able to rectify the situation and assigned me another. Rooms are spacious with an apartment styled motif, coming with refrigerator, sink, and stove for cooking purposes. However, room was left a bit untidy: noticed towels on the floor in the bathroom upon entry, no central air (meaning loud and noisy AC) but other than that, no complaints.

I've stayed here on two different occasions — — once for about three weeks, and currently, for 2 months now as a business consultant in need of a long-term alternative to a traditional lease. If you're looking for a no-frills extended housing option, for an affordable price point, this is a great property. The room was clean, and had everything I needed. Comfy bed, nice furniture (including a dining table, desk, and reclining leather chair), full kitchen minus stove, large bathroom, and enough space for storage if you're carrying more than a few suitcases. Heidi and her staff are always professional, friendly, and accommodating. I'm greeted each morning with pleasantries, and welcomed home in the evening. Reliable free internet with faster speeds available for a small fee. Flat-screen TV. Great location near the freeway, about halfway between downtown and several large SW/Western suburbs. When there are issues (as any hotel will have) with noise, they are dealt with in a timely manner. The room service staff always does a great job with my room, with a fresh change of bedding, towels, etc. They keep my space clean and looking nice. The one time I had a maintenance issue, it was fixed immediately. The laundry room offers plenty of machines at a reasonable price. Abundant parking. The location is great with plenty of shopping and eating options nearby. Close to multiple freeways. Far enough off the roadways that is quiet at night. The only complaint I have is the smoking.

It was alright a place to stay.

Stayed in room 215. It was dirty. Dead gnats left on the wall and the bathroom could have been much cleaner. As I got on the elevator to Check out on the second day, I was greeted by unattended garbage, a bag of dirty sheets, and a vacuum cleaner. I found this disturbing not only because trash was just joy riding on the elevator but also because they do NOT clean your room daily. Their policy is cleaning on the eighth day of ur stay or to charge u a refreshment fee for cleaning!

Worse hotel ever. Has bugs. I usually don't write reviews but for this I had to. When I first went inside after a long trip on the rode from Texas the service was bad at the counter. No one was at the front. My husband and I stood there for almost 10 minutes and when they did show up the woman was rude. After I finally got my key, I went inside my room and I must admit my first impression of the room was nice. I took off my shoes and layed in the bed and I saw BUGS under my pillow. Took the staff a while to react to the bugs once we called the desk so that was a sign. Then the bathroom tub was dirty like someone washed a pot of dirt. Television wouldnt even work. We ended up leaving the hotel the same night. I do not recommend.

I booked thru Priceline and I have to say I don't see why its rated as a "3" start hotel. I'll start by saying the young lady at the counter was very nice and helpful. Booked a room for two — was given a double bed! Unless you're children or child size how do two adults sleep on a double bed? In addition — omg — I'm not kidding, sat at the end of the bed and the mattress came flying up! It's advertised with an equipped kitchen but it's not — you have to ask for plates etc. At the front desk so you look like you're getting your assigned camping gear and struggling to carry it back to your room as its not given in a basket or bag of some type. Our tub had hair in it — ok only one hair but still gross. I just wanted to sleep so no issue in making an issue — it served its purpose, bed didn't flip if I was thrown across it.

Worst hotel, I guess the saying is correct, u get what u pay for.

They are all a bunch of liars. Cannot be trusted. Horrible customer service and even the corporate office lies in order to protect their employer's mistakes. Worst group of staff I've ever dealt with.

Place is a total rip-off. I booked room for 3 people on pricelin (another rip-off). Upon arriving I was told it would be an additional $33.00 oh yeah this after waiting 15 minutes because clerk was on phoneIwas told I would have to call priceline which I did Priceline told me they would have to contact extended stay I told priceline I no longer wanted to stay there once again I was told they migh decide to charge for room (with priceline you prepay) I figured I had no choice but to stay beacuse I was already charged. When we finally got our room the air conditioner didnt work there was no phone in room and no internet they did not fix any of these problem. When priceline finally contacted me the next morning I told them I was leaving and I wanted a refund for unused portion. They agreed. Now for the night I did stay there I felt unsafe with t young children people were having drinking parties and the police kept patrolling and checking license plates. For an extra $15.00 a night I suggest you stay a Best Western 1/2 blk away.

As much as I travel, I would have expected better. At check in, they gave me a keycard with a series of holes punched in it. Ok, so the place isn't up to the latest technology. But when I got to my room, it didn't work. Went back to the desk with all of my luggage, they apologiezed and gave me a key to a different room. Same results, key didn't work, couldn't get in. Someone walking by told me he'd had the same problem, and offered to tell the desk. A few minutes later, the desk clerk came up, apologized again, and asked me to remain there while he found and tested out a key to yet another room. I should mention here how slow the elevator is. 5 minutes later, got another key to yet another room on another floor. The floor in the hallway obviously had not seen a vaccuum in a week, and there was a very unpleasant smell in the hallway. Thankfully, when I got to my room, I was able to get in. Yes, there is a small two burner stove and kitchen, silverware for one maybe two people, no dishwashing detergent, etc. The room was clean. The light over the desk was burned out, so was one of the two next to the bed. The phone rang, but it was dead when I picked it up. I couldn't call the front desk to complain! So I called from my cell phone, got routed to the national number, they said they'd call the front desk for me. A few minutes later, the phone rang again, but the receiver was dead. I had to go downstairs to talk to the clerk.
