So far everything been wonderful here staff and all!

Best breakfast and they serve to the public for 6$ all u can eat.

Even though I stay as a railroader they treat us like paying guests and the free full breakfast is really good. For Chicago where most everyone is mad all the time the people at this hotel aren’t.

Stayed at this hotel last week for the airshow. Staff was pleasant, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was good. Planning a weekend getaway next month and will likely stay here again.

This is not one of the better Best Western locations I've stayed in. The hotel seems to be in need of a renovation to bring it in line with other franchise locations. We also had an issue with using Best Western points on our stay which led the staff to knock on our door and attempt to open it while we were inside trying to figure out who was attempting to (in our minds) break into our room. A simple phone call to the room would have sufficed.

Was very happy with this hotel. Impressed with how clean it was. The elevators have mirrors and I never saw a fingerprint or smudge. The breakfast was excellent & a great value. The staff was pleasant & helpful. The only negative thing I encountered was that there usually seemed to be a lot of smokers gathered outside the front doors. It would be nice if that were a no smoking area or if there was a designated area further away. Would definitely stay there again!

Not what I was expecting from all the other reviews. Had a non-smoking room but someone have been smoking in it. Cigarette burns on the bed covers. Always or not very clean at all. And unfortunately we were right across the hall from the ice machine and people were using it it seemed all night long. Staff was friendly and very helpful when one of my girls forgot her toothbrush. But I don't think I will ever stay at this hotel again.

I will give them a rating of 0 if there is. This hotel gave me the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I booked a 2 queen bed room, which costs a little bit more than 1-King bed. They give me a downgrade to 1-King bed without notice. When I return to the front desk and ask for a switch, they gave me a room someone is sleeping inside! I open the door, the man was astonishing, and in turn freaking me out! Even though they finally switched me a right one without guests inside, they wasted my time going up and down for 3 times! In addition, the room looks not that clean! I will never use best western!

This place needs to be torn down and rebuilt! not clean by any means! found hair in the bed not ours! Carpet was sticky in places socks stuck to it bodily fluids? door seal painted in place not working in a fire room would've filled with smoke! Found garbage under beds! Halls were dirty hotel staff needs to learn proper use of a vacuum cleaner same 2 glasses in hallway all weekend long! restaurant staff needs to comprehend the English language and staff shortages don't help asked for a glass of mountain dew and was told no only Pepsi. If my family hadn't been staying in hotel and my sister needing my assistance with transportation I would've found another hotel! This seems to be the the way best Western runs their properties all over the country don't know how they stay in business because the last 3 I stayed in were colossal dumps. Next time it's holiday Inn for me.

Needs updating badly. Room has a very musty odor. Had a big king-sized comforter that is not washed after every guest. Remote control was not in a bag, indicating it had been cleaned. Hole around the faucet in the bathtub. Cab drivers hanging out at the entrance smoking. We checked out 2 days early and moved to another hotel.

The only thing keeping me from giving this hotel a 5 star review was the water leak. On the last day if our stay someone in the room above us flooded the room, which leaked down onto my bed and the floor. The staff did apologize and I can't blame them for the guest carelessness.

Very helpful staff and a frat location with full amenities. Room was very clean and well attended; location proved invaluable doesn't reaching disparate parts of the city. Safe, secure and welcoming I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel by far. They have a restaurant and bar located inside the hotel. Great food and great drinks. The customer service is great here. No complaints.

I love the hotel because they have a fitness center and it also says that they have a spa but I didn't see one and the pool is closed because it's cold and they'll probably open it in the summer. Their breakfast is really great I love the oatmeal and they have other options like sausage, scrambled eggs and others. It's a great place to visit recently (Monday) it snowed if you like snow you can go there.

Do not come here! Bed sheets had hairs, carpet smells, water pressure was low at the shower and when I asked for extra sheets at the front desk the new sheets still had small hairs and lots of lint! Save your money and go to Holiday Inn. Overall this general area is ghetto and sketchy.

The location is great and easy to access from the city. The designers of this great hotel really put in work. Customer service is top notch, I think it’s one of the best I have ever experienced.

Great customer service! I wished staying at this hotel even much longer. The room was spacious and the environment nice. We’ll definitely stay again here.

Excellent hotel! Clean! Nice and friendly staff. Amazing buffet breakfast. I will be staying here next time I am in the area in a few months.

Went to the record swap. Lots of records but some of the sellers don't seem to know the music nor the value of the records. They are just hopping on the vinyl renaissance and trying to make a quick buck.

Conference centers very large parking. Very good place.

For business meetings, it's a perfect place!

We had to clean off our own table because they were short of help. We were told that there was no more tea. We were NOT hotel guess. My Family met there for breakfast ONLY. I paid $80. For our bill. I phoned ahead to this hotel. One week ahead. I never got a call from the head chief. The dinning room was on frostbite. We had to eat with our coat on. The food was hot on the Burnner but because of the the room being so cold, the food would be cold too. Yes you could see the steam coming from the food but that was because of the temperature of the room was so cold. I spent $50. Plus tax, My Sister paid for 2 @$9.95 plus tax, my cousin paid $9.95 plus tax. We couldn't enjoy the food. We enjoyed each other. Happy Trail BEST Western hotel.

Great! The hotel is huge, and very clean! The only slight difference if the lack of complimentary breakfast, but a buffet for breakfast. It costs about $8-9 per person to get in and you have an array of foods to choose from.

No complaints. Easy enough to find. Kind of annoying to go in circles because Frontage Road is one way. But that's not the hotel's fault. All of the appliances in the hotel room worked properly. The restaurant breakfast package is excellent value. I would stay here again.

We stay at Best Western Milwaukee on National Ave. A lot and have never been disappointed. However, the Best Western Hillside, is a totally different story. I won't get into details, but lets just say this hotel could use some repairs and more than facial updating. The rooms make it obvious this is an older building. If it was our first time staying in a Best Western, we would never stay in one again. Keep in mind, we are Best Western points club members.

Pretty standard visit. Nice decor and was clean. I wish their Wi-Fi was more secure (not an open network), and could have had more convenient outlet locations. But otherwise a pleasant stay.

I love this hotel. SO close to downtown but such easy access AND no parking fee! Plus they allow dogs and have plenty of grass. GREAT buffalo chicken wings (and other food too! ) Staff is always helpful. I've stayed many times over the last 8 years, for work AND leisure.

Food is excellent. Staff are most helpful, friendly, desire to please. Transportation provided cost saving. Hotel Rates are excellent and most affordable. The building, grounds and rooms are kept up and maintained but could benefit from a more modern up date. Rooms. Are clean. Strongly recommend. Thank you.

The staff was helpful and the room was clean. The comforter was lumpy and needed to be replaced. It would not stay on the bed and it was unusable. Everything else was great.

Bathroom sink too low, toilet is too low & doesn't flush properly, hot & cold water have to wait forever to get, while showering… otherwise great staff.

The room we used was a bit too warm and despite multiple requests to turn the air up it never really got any cooler. They had an issue with the microphone at first but someone came in and fixed it. Could have used someone to come and refill the iced tea dispenser mid-meeting.

The staff is wonderful here. From the front desk to the housekeepers and the lounge staff, everyone was super nice and helpful. The location is pretty nice. My only complaint was it seemed to turn into club best western our second night (Friday). I'm not entirely sure if these people were hotel customers or if they simply came for the lounge. I can't complain too much because everyone stayed in that area, and no one was roaming the hallways. The lounge itself is very nice. They have a breakfast buffet (not free, but relatively inexpensive, considering. ) There is a gym and indoor pool. Overall, I would recommend this location.

Stayed in room 374 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! 3 family reunions going on so lots of happy people to enjoy seeing and all of the desk staff was amazing! And with a huge crowd checking in at 3:00 on a Friday they could have easily gotten flustered — but they were patient, answered questions and efficient and pleasant! We had a small problem with our room and it was late. The 3rd shift desk clerk was gentleman who listened apologized empathized and problem solved. He also had me speak to the GM in the morning who was wonderful and took great care of us! Any restaurant, or hotel, or actually any hospitality industry is going to have flaws… It's what they do to resolve a problem that creates integrity and trust in their ability to handle anything that comes their way to take great care of their guests — attitude is everything and the attitude of the staff at this hotel the morale of the staff at this hotel shines. You can plan to have an excellent day but if any little thing doesn't go your way you can feel assured that they will take great care of you and help to resolve the situation quickly into your satisfaction! Bravo for a job well done!

This was my second stay at this hotel for business. Everyone has always been very pleasant. My room was very clean both times. I dined in the restaurant for dinner during both of my stays there, they have a great selection and my food was good both times. I would definitely stay there again!

We had the launching of a foundation in my late brother's name. The staff were extremely nice. John the was just great very HELFUL with my planing and patient might I add. My room was awesome and breakfast was even better. I've book my next event for next year already.

I had a fantastic time. The Elegant Ladies of the Red Hat Society had our Christmas Dinner. We were joined by the Silver Liners of Amundsen Park. Enjoyed the entertainment by Mr. & Mrs. Williams. Mrs. Wilson-Williams was fabulous with her Motown Review. The food was scrumptious and the room we had was great.

Great hotel! Pool was nice outside, but downfall if it ever stormed rained. The breakfast buffet was excellent and great pricing. Definitely recommend this place.

DISHONEST STAFF DISHONEST HOTEL! NEVER EVER stay in this hotel! NOT EVEN WORTH ANY STAR! Got flight delayed and found this hotel has room avaliable and make reservation online. Call immediately confirm if they room is really avaliable. Got hold for 30 mins and the lady answered yes there is room avaliable. So we uber to the hotel. Arrived the hotel 2AM, there are 8 parties in the hotel waiting for room. And the lady named "shawn" said room is not ready yet. Still cleaning, and while I was waiting, people began to annoyed, one gentlemen waited for two hour for a room to cleaned! When I called and ask if there is room avaliable. I assumed avaliable means its ready for check in! and another hour passed, still no room avaliable for all parties, there are phone calls coming in, and the lady still keep answering, 3AM still two parties came in with no room! And the lady was not honest, a gentlemen started to annoyed raised his voice, and asked if there is room! just be honest! and the reception lady called police! come on! just be honest say there is no room! and we will not waste our time 3AM in the morning to wait for a room! We turned out did nnot wait for any, and look for another hotel!

I WILL NEVER STAY IN ANOTHER ONE! But this one takes the cake. I mistakenly shorted my trip by one day. So I was forced to single handed pack SIX bags and leave the room immediately. Even after informing the front desk I was alone, not feeling well AND disabled. Not even offered another room and the hotel is NOT booked. Way to go BW.

For under $110/ day I would recommend this hotel. The rooms are decent (not extremly clean, but manageable). The interior is a little dull, again manageable. Has a mini refrigeraor and a microwave, so that's a good thing. Wifi is dead slow at times.

Had relative at Loyola Hospital so it was close. Great, clean rooms. Front desk was excellent. Good price. Only negative was the proximity to interstate and the noise from it. Other side of Hotel is quieter. All staff were great. Would stay here again. Booked for other relatives next night.

Really clean room! Staff is friendly and food is pretty great too. Not really close to anything. Smelled kinda like a smoke room but it wasn't terrible.

Having a flight delay in Chicago, we called asking for good hotel that wasn't to expensive. We found this Best Western to be what we need and more. They were courtesy and on time.

Great place to stay. The shuttle was outstanding! The food and the ambiance was superb. I highly recommend this hotel!

I have stayed here alot and it has always been good rooms clean and staff friendly the only negative in my opinion is that they need new pillows.

Located right next to 290, it has good access to downtown. The approach is confusing though. Its an old hotel but the rooms are decent, so do not expect anything sleek. Given the price we got it at, it was a good bargain.

My husband went with red spots and I began to investigate, they turned out to be Bedbug bites.

We were booked, for 2 days, in a room on the first floor (Room 166). The first thing that was wrong was the toilet was running. Went to the front desk and told them about it and they said they would have a maintenance person take a look at it. The second thing was, we were booked in a room that happened to be by an Exit door. All night long we heard the door slamming we people would exit the building. Called the front desk and told them about the door slamming all night (the first night), they said they would take care of it. Don't know if anything was done with the door because we continued to hear the door slamming for the rest of our visit.

Typical best western chain hotel, clean and well maintained. No evidence of bed bugs that we could see. Breakfast was a little better than average hotel food but not amazing. Internet worked well and was free. Price is good. Would probably stay here again.

Fantastic! Clean, great rate, food was VERY good! We had a family member at Loyola Hospital and the shuttle service was priceless. They took us back and fourth to the hospital at all hours and anywhere we needed to go. I can't say enough about those drivers. Eddie, Denise, James (and others) treated us like family during a stressful time. All the staff of the hotel were courteous but those drivers especially Eddie will forever be remembered as good Christian servants and I feel blessed to have meet them. I thank you for your hospitality and your prayers during our stay.

High cost performance hotel. Like it.

Very clean, room decent size, small bathroom, comfortable firm bed, I had minimal interaction with the staff, but in that time they were friendly, courteous, and professional. You will not steal the towels — unless you enjoy having your skin flayed. I sleep very light, so a few discourteous patrons slamming doors woke me briefly throughout the night. Also one car horn. You can hear air traffic, but not overwhelming. Wife slept through everything and she's generally a pretty light sleeper too. That is the harshest review I can give — great stay here overall. $83/night gov rate. Free Wi-Fi. Coupon issued for $6 breakfast — haven't eaten it yet so no review there. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Fabulous Best Western, clean, quiet and updated. The restaurant Charlie's was excellent. Our meals there were better than most restaurants. The Wi-Fi worked, it was fast and stayed connected. I was most impressed and the prices were great. The staff was efficient and responsive to your needs. A great place to stay.

Garbage plain and simple staff was rude air conditioning didn't work no TV remote.

Very nice place to stay. Real good breakfast and a bar with restaurant next to the breakfast area. All really good. Rooms are very clean with refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. Staff is very nice also. Great place to stay at.

Our stay was most enjoyable. Although the night we stayed it snowed all night and morning so when we went for breakfast all the staff where out except for the manager. I also remember He wasn't very easy to look at. He was very arrogant and rude. He burnt our bacon and the eggs were terrible. Kevin you are a piece of shit and I hate you.
