Clean fun helpful convenient and the staff interesting and vibrant like they are actually having fun doing their job too.

It was my first ever experience at a hostel and Wrigley was the perfect place for it! The staff was really friendly and fun, and the vibe was great. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and the breakfast was good.

Great breakfast. Staff is friendly. Great prices.

This place was rude & dirty! Spring for the extra 20$ & stay at a real hotel. Unless you like roaches & dust.

I LOVE Wrigley Hostel. My sister found it by accident when reservations somewhere else fell through. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. If the place ever is remodeled, I would recommend a makeup bar. You are within walking distance of a lot of cool places and the other guests there are typically respectful and kind.

Good place to stay for low price, and footsteps away from Wrigley field.

My daughter and I stayed here for our first trip to Chicago. It was awesome. Akil and Brendan were awesome. Made us feel right at home. Even had activities throughout the week! Pretty cool! Great Pancakes and waffles we miss you guys. Can't wait to go back!

Very nice location and price. Dirty. Not clean, takes preventative measures for bed bugs and lice (using small plates under each bed post of white powder) which isn’t safe for breathing. Bathrooms are dirty and unusable due to everyone else using them. Brought my own sheets and blankets but my friends sheets and blankets did not look like they had been cleaned since the last guests. Dirt everywhere and ambiance is not there especially since the air felt musty. Overall, would never come back.

Cheap, clean rooms just a block away from Wrigley. I'd recommend buying some adult beverages and setting up shop on the back deck, if the weather is nice. Guests ranged from 19 to 60 years old and from all over the country and world.

Awesome place! The rooms were clean and the staff were nice and friendly! And they have waffles and pancakes for breakfast! And they’re close the subway.

My experience at Wrigley Hostel was wonderful! I shared a room with two other people; the room had two bunk beds, a power strip available on each bunk bed, a window AC unit, a radiator and two lockers. Each of the three floors plus basement had two full bathrooms and a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven, vending machine, recycling and trash. They have a beautiful patio with lots of seating outside available as well. I didn't have the time to participate, but I'm aware that they have social events and a game/lounge room. The customer service was warm and personable! They also offer complimentary breakfast (coffee, pancakes, waffles, apples and oranges) and if you forgot any toiletries they have sets available to purchase! They have guest Wi-Fi. You're given a code to get into the building, and a key for your room! I loved my experience and will be going back!

I loved my stay at Wrigley hostel! I mostly needed a place to leave my luggage during the day, shower, and to catch a few hours of sleep, so this was perfect for me. I ended up not sleeping at all before my 5 am flight because I met some awesome and friendly travelers from all over the world in the common room downstairs. If you're traveling solo and want to make instant friends, go ahead and stay here. I don't know how the beds or breakfast was (because I had to leave at about 3 am to catch my flight) but as far as the atmosphere, security, cleanliness of bathrooms, and overall experience, I would absolutely recommend this space to anyone.

Like a bed and breakfast. Extremely small rooms, but you cant beat the price. You are less than 2 blocks away from wrigley field. They do have breakfast. Pancakes, waffles and fruit. The rooms are only good for sleeping, anything more, you won't want to stay there. I will stay there again for future games.

The location is amazing. Steps to Wrigley Field and the train. Liquor store on the corner. Countless bars and eateries around the block. But the best night of my entire trip was hanging out with everyone else on the back patio on a Friday night. No need to go out.

I chose to visit Chicago solo and ended up making so many friends just within my 5 day stay because of this hostel. It was my first time staying in this type of accommodation so I didn't have too high of expectations, but the staff from the moment of arrival (at 8:30 am) were very friendly and helpful with suggestions of where to go and what to see. I stored my luggage with them since check-in was in the afternoon and started wandering around the nearby area which was AMAZING — bars, restaurants, the red line and Wrigley Field all within a couple minutes walk! For the room — I was on the top bunk bed in a mixed 10-person room and there were a few different people staying on the bottom bed throughout my time there. You get what you pay for with the quality of beds, but there were always bathrooms available for a shower (I wake up early so that could have helped). Being in this style of room also helped with getting to meet plenty of others while there and it made it more fun (kind of like a sleepover with your new best friends). The best parts were the outings the staff put on for everyone in the basement and how we all could play ping pong, pool, watch a movie (Netflix included), or just chill at the mini-bar. SO thankful I did my research and found this hostel to stay at — perfect for any solo travelers looking to get to know Chicago!

Very good location, comfortable beds and good service. The rooms are a little small but for the price it is very good.

It was my first time staying at a hostel. I decided to try it because I was attending an event and I wanted to try out staying at a hostel because of the social atmosphere. The service is great, the location is great, and the breakfast was great. I will stay again should an event be near by and I need a place to stay overnight.

Wrigley hostel was my first ever hostel stay, and the movies have it all wrong. If you're a first-timer in Chicago I need a great place to stay, low price, cool people, and great breakfast this is the place to go. Every staff I spoke with was really kind and very funny! We're definitely going to be making this another place to stay the next time we hit up Chi-town. Clean, considerate, and Eco-friendly, I give this place an A++

I liked this place very much. My stay was very comfortable there. Its tariff was very reasonable. And it location was very good. Near to a train station & Wrtigly stadium. I watched a baseball match in that stadium.

I found this hostel to have a lot of amenities vs. The price and would definitely stay here again. Towels, full kitchen setup (including dishes), and free laptops to use with free Wi-Fi are the top amenities. It is within walking distance to stores and metro and I found the space to be sufficient for the time I was there. Definitely a great way to explore Chicago economically. (I paid about $20 for a bed in a 10 bed mixed room in March 2018)

The location is not good from a tourist point of view however it has good communities and simple breakfast.

My room was very spacious with various amenities that l needed. Kind staff. Free breakfast in the cool upstairs common room was nice.

People couldn't have been nicer! Great location with free parking. Everything was up to date. Breakfast was fresh made pancakes and waffles that the staff cooked. Nowhere else have I seen that. They even printed my conference paper for me for free. I don't know another hostel with that service. Know that the parking is free, even if they run out of parking passes, as they did when I stayed there, if you move your car to the meters after 10pm, then on Sheffield from 8am to 6pm. That leaves just four hours you have to pay. I stayed at the hostel downtown after a one day stay here and four days at the Palmer House for a conference. But this was by far the pleasantest part of my trip to Chicago! Thanks!

Great location. Clean. Insanely affordable and the complimentary coffee pancakes waffles and fruit breakfast was better than I expected.

I was lost in this great big city, and booking a night at your hostel and it was the most at home I felt the whole time I was in Chicago! The feel of the place was comfortable, I made friends, the accomodations and cost were truly dreamy. Thank you so much for your hospitality and for providing an affordable option for those of us unable to afford a hotel or air BNB.

I've stayed here multiple times over the years. This place rocks. The owner is awesome, the entire place is clean, the atmosphere is unbeatable, the prices are reasonable, and the location is unheard of. I love this place! I only wish I could visit here more often!

The rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was really friendly and helpful. There's a nice communal atmosphere and some nice shared spaces. It was substantially cheaper to stay here than even an airbnb in the area.

It is right down the street from Wrigley field, ans in one of the most exciting areas of town! The service was fantastic. Everything was well kept. I have no complaints!

Awesome experience. Staff was great and super helpful. Plenty of entertainment and food options within walking distance also close to public transit. Met college students, working professionals, and retirees can't get that at a hotel! I'd definitely stay here again!

Excellent service, very clean and comfortable. Free parking, if you reserve it with the desk before arriving. Free breakfast as well, and you don't even have to make your own bed or take off the sheets when you check out. It can be a little noisy, especially if there's an event at Wrigley Field, but it's a fair trade for the price and proximity to the field.

Beds were comfy. Clean place and very nice employees. Very close to the red line and multiple bars. For the price it was better then excepted. Would definitely recommend.

Wrigley Hostel was great! Staff was friendly, it was very clean, but rooms with plenty of outlets, nice private bathrooms. My only complaint is that it was really hot in the room! There was no A. C. At night so it got pretty warm. Other than that it was a nice place to stay and I would probably stay there again if I ever get the chance.

Located right next to the cubs stadium. Cheap, neat and tidy. They have a common area where you can play pool, foosball or just bring your own booze and chill with friends. The patio is amazing too. Didn't find it till my second day of stay though. Would definitely recommend and would be back for my next visit to Chicago.

Stayed here during 4th of July 2017 with a friend. Hostel was clean, staff was friendly, the only thing I'd say is that the logistics for watching fireworks could have been a little better planned — — walk was a little further than initially thought and it was hard to see the fireworks where we were at, other than that stay was awesome. Shoutout to Otez for the dope-ly (yes, I'm going to make that a word. ) organized 4th of July celebration on the sun deck. He was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable during my stay.

I LOVED this place. I wish there was an option for 10 stars. The staff was friendly, free hot breakfast was lovley, our bunk mates were awesome. No complaints. The area is amazing. Never once felt unsafe, even walking home at 1 am. This hostel has made my trip to Chicago phenomenal! One of our bunk mates actually came sight seeing with my sister and I which was nice. I doubt that would have happened at a hotel! :)

This hostel was an excellent place to stay at! They offer free breakfast with delicious waffles and pancakes as well as fruit :) the location can't be beat, especially for the price! It's so close to Wrigley field and walking distance from Boys Town! The staff were super friendly too, 10/10 would definitely come again.

Was very happy with my stay. I was traveling with 3 friends and we all had a great time. The common spaces are amazing! We met people from all over the world and got to play pool and cards against humanity with them. The staff was beyond helpful. Anything that we needed they were more then happy to provide. Ida was especially helpful with her knowledge of the area. I believe it was Carlos who made the delicious pancakes in the morning. There were a few other staff members who were also great but my addled mind has forgotten their names. The place was always very clean and the area very safe. It was nice to see employees working to make sure the place was clean all throughout the day. I have been to many hostels and this one is one of the best by far. Hope to be back soon!

It stinks but the juente are good.

Horrible experience. Unsafe neighborhood, always loud with the train noise and stadium. Very squeaky beds, and not clean sheets for each guest. I saw a guy come in, and pretty much just making the bed with the same sheets. Do not book here. Also found a spider next to my pillow. On top of all that, rude customer service who are unkind to you after you checked in. 0 stars if I could.

Location is a bit out of the city center, but next to the stadium of the chicago cubs. Hostel has all you wish for, cool common room, clean bathrooms, good free breakfast etc.

It's a fantastic place, with a very nice staff. The people that you can meet is also interresting. The outdoor patio is very cool with a barbecue that you can use as you want. The common room is also cool and you can pass your evenings at play at beer pong with others travellers. But, I remove two stars for two reasons : The Wi-Fi is not good. If you are not in the common room, it's so hard to get it. And it's very expensive when the cubs play (I'm there for the youth hostel, not for "the hotel close to the stadium").

Rooms are nice. Staff is helpful. Only complaint is they need more bathrooms.

Incredibly close to Wrigley Field, quite clean and homy. The showers acted funny but overall were very nice and hygienic. Power strips on each bed were great. I took a star off because the attendants acted very strange and unwelcoming when we returned. I think it may have been simply because of the crowd in town for the concert, but they locked the front door (which can usually be opened with a code) and asked us a few questions and made sure we didn't have any contraband. It left a pretty sour taste in my mouth.

The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. They have a nice patio where you can lounge and a rec room with a pool table. They do lock the doors at night and I had to call the hostel because no one answered the doorbell.

The room were small but enough space for everyone to sleep. Lots of bathrooms, nice patio, and good breakfast. Great location near Wrigley field and bars.

A great experience! The staff was helpful and knew about Chicago. I think they have about 10 different showers so there is always one available and it's clean. The beds are comfy and there was a pancake breakfast included in the morning, would stay again!

Great hostel, affordable with more benefits thab a regular hotel.

I stayed here a quick weekend in Chicago with friends and it was the best hostel experience I've ever had! The staff were warm and friendly and the building itself was very spacious and bright. It was not loud at all (and we were in the rooms right next to the kitchens and public area). Best of all, I was able to meet TONS of people and everyone was so nice! Location is very close to great bars and Wrigley Field is visible from the window. Beds are clean and neat and rooms are warm. Towels are provided if asked, as are earplugs. Pancake breakfast is available in the mornings. Make sure you reserve early! Otherwise prices might rise the closer the day gets (I got a price of ~$25 a night, but day of another group tried to come in and it rose to ~$50 a night! )

Wrigley's Hostel is a great place to be for short term or long term visits. It has all the requirements of a cozy place, great food and informative/cooperative staff. I had to extend my stay unplanned and these guys helped me. Without a fuss!

As I was eating breakfast, I read a sign in front of me thay said that I should follow Wrigley Hostel on Facebook to hear about local events. I did so and discovered that international no pants subway ride was planned for the next day. Thanks to Lauren for posting the link to Facebook. I participated in the event and I loved it.

Two bed private room was well priced in the beginning of November. Clean rooms, basic breakfast in the morning.

Staff is great! Hostel is reasonably priced and the breakfast is exceptional for a hostel. My only complaint is that all the common areas close at midnight — I've never seen a hostel do that. It feels like you have a curfew and really brings down the social atmosphere.

Was not worth $200 a night. Was also kicked out at 5am for no apparent reason and was not given a refund. Never again.

It was exactly what we were expecting, and hoping, it would be. Great location, clean rooms and friendly staff. Best recommendation we can give: We'd stay there again!

Best view of Chicago. Greeter/facilities operator Sedwick was an absolute rockstar! Friendly, accommodating, clean, and warm atmosphere. Lots of people from around the world. (YAY Diversity! ) Only hostel in Chicago I'll ever stay in. Can't wait to go back.

Amazing experience, easy to book, convenient location, even the parking website they recommended help me save a ton of money on parking. This hostel is great, I will definitely be coming back, and recommended to all. Stayed here for a couple of nights to enjoy some concerts in Chicago.

It was a great Place to stay. Location is Great you have a lot of places nearby for dining and clubs to hangout. Staff is super cool and helpful. I had one of the best experience of my life staying here. If you visit Chicago and looking for a place to stay you must stay here.

It is a small cozy hostel that you can feel more like home as compare to other hostel in Chicago. The kitchen is decently equipped and staff are diligent. I love what they have for breakfast, the great combination of fresh fruit and pancake. The bathroom can fit one person at a time ant its door was not very secured, there could be people waiting to use it on a busy day. The location is perfectly close the subway station, within four mins walk to subway and bus, and surrounded by pubs, bars, comedy club and restaurants. It is a very hip place located in the center all happening and at the same time a cozy and comfortable sleep obtained. It is really not bad for the value of a hostel for its location and comfort.

This is an amazing hostel. It is in a great location and has all the amentities needed. Its close to transport routes to city and airport. The staff and owners here are awesome, they really know the city and are happy to help with any questions. They run a pub crawl as well which is a great way to meet other travellers and there is pizza too! The hostel is super clean, showers are warm and the internet is fast. I really would recommend this hostel to everyone.

This place is super cool. It has the best people and atmosphere. Everyone was really friendly to me, my room was clean and comfortable, and it's a good price, too! This place will be kickin' in the summer with the back desk, Cubs games, and blocks away from the beach. Love it. The staff is killer.

I loved my stay at Wrigley Hostel. The staff was super helpful and awesome, the location was perfect for my needs, and I loved the extra free stuff there like the free pizza, free breakfast. The bar crawl was really fun. I'll most definitely stay here again next time I am in Chicago. :).
