Cathy you are amazing! My husband and I have never stayed at a B&B before. We both agree that the bar has been set for us. We truly appreciate the time and energy you put into making every guest feel at home. The meals and the cookies, especially the chocolate chocolate chip were my favorite. You should sell them by the dozen. Having full access to the kitchen was truly wonderful. The fridge was fully stocked with premeasured waffle mix, eggs, milk, half& half, condiments, yogurt, blueberries, strawberries, multilpe italian cheese, and meats (to make your own panini), tea, lemonade, & orange juice. Italian bread, michigan apples, bananas, water, and again those freshly baked cookies were all available anytime of the day. A juicer was avaiable for fresh pressed/squeezed orange juice if you choose. A smoker out back was available also. A jacuzzi was available… Michigan wine from Fenn Valley was ON TAP! I appreciate how Cathy remembered everyone's name. I enjoyed conversing with the young ladies who were responsible for housekeeping as well as the care they took in maintaining the kitchen… We will be back… Our room was so cool. We had a wet bar, a microwave, and fridge. Really liked the color changing electric fireplace. Make sure you consult Cathy about where to go and what to do. Cathy is very knowledgeable and on point with her suggestions. This mansion also has an elevator. The Caesar's Lair is the most private room with slippers and robe for your use and or purchase.

Had a great stay in December 2017. Highly recommended. Great experience. Will come back.

Truly a wonderful oasis in the city of Chicago. Everything was elegant, comfortable, and welcoming. We had a great time here and enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere, great food, and sincere hospitality.

Cathy the General Manger is Condescending and Oblivious. She will circle around any complaints you have and never address your problem directly. She comes off as the type of person who is miserable at home and will abuse any power she is given. Cathy speaks in a pleasant voice while taking jabs at you. Speaking to her is nothing short of Mind Numbing.

I can not say enough about how wonderful this stay was. It was the most enjoyable place and the staff was awesome!

Its something off about the HR not genuine beautiful property just need better management and staff to make it more friendly for customers who spend this kinda money for a room in this economy I would love to see a mix diverse staff of friendly faces and attitudes.

Cathy is the best. She single handedly made our Chicago vacation exponentially better than it would have been without her. All of her food and entertainment recommendations were spot on. The food she makes is out of this world. The B&B itself is gorgeous and the neighborhood is the perfect place to have as your home away from home. The only caveat is the "free parking" advertised on the site is just on street parking which is quickly consumed by local traffic.

My wife and I stayed at the Villa and loved it. We had a fantastic time in Chicago and it was nice to head to the Villa and relax at the end of our day. The breakfast was incredible, Cathy is an awesome chef and was super friendly. We would highly recommend a visit to Villa D' Citta.

Great location, room, staff and food! The breakfast included each morning was really nice and usually far more than we could eat. The fridge was stocked with meats and cheeses to make paninis at lunch time, too. Plus, the manager, Cathy, took care of us well — — she had good suggestions about what to do around town. We stayed in the Milan, which includes a gas fireplace. That really sets the mood and keeps the room cozy. We'll definitely be back.

Villa d'Cita is a beautiful house and bed & breakfast. There is a charm to the rustic and eccentric house that makes me want to stay. Everything is cleaned perfectly, and every type of care has been met. The maids were so caring, that it feels like I am with family.

I had the pleasure of helping my client plan her unique wedding at Villa D'Citta. What can I say, as a planner… working with good industry peeps is a definite plus. Working with Cathy was hands down… EXCEPTIONAL! To be able to work with such professionalism and compassion was so amazing! Can't wait to plan another event here! Cathy ROCKS!

Great attention to detail in the furnishings and individual rooms. Staff was very friendly, I would recommend anyone visiting Chicago to check it out.

We enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay in the Venetian Suite at the Villa D'Citta. Very comfortable room with a sun deck and private access to the garage rooftop porch where the hot tub and lounge seats are. The home is immaculate, and the staff was so kind and caring. Every morning they served a fresh hot breakfast that was delicious. This is the first bed and breakfast we've stayed at, and I am not sure I will ever want to stay in a regular hotel again. I highly recommend staying here, and cannot wait to plan a return trip!

I stayed at Villa D' Citta with some of my closest friends for New Years Eve. Not only was Cathy, the accommodations director, friendly and thorough on our first phone call, but she sent personalized emails leading up to it reservation to be sure our stay would be perfect. The common living space on the main floor was incredibly luxurious, as was the room we stayed in! From the decor to the bedding to the food, we were blown away by every aspect and detail of this place. Cathy cooked a fruit cobbler, goat cheese and sausage breakfast pizza, and potatoes for breakfast. She's is an amazing chef! I can't leave out how lovely the late night dip in their outdoor hot tub was! In the middle of winter with a light snow, it was so relaxing. I'll definitely be coming back here the next time I want to be treated like royalty.

WOW! WOW! WOW! OK, from the moment we called Cathy (the accomodations director) to inquire about staying at Villa D' Citta to the moment we left, we were completely impressed. This place is beautiful, well-run, and so handy to the sights and sounds of Chicago. The food is delicious, the service is amazing, and the room was very clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend this B&B.

This is the most perfect B&B I have ever stayed in. The mansion is gorgeous. I had the perfect suite, large, fireplace, great TV, beautifully apppointed. The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious. I will never stay in a hotel in Chicago again unless it is absolutely necessary.
