Review of The Talbott Hotel 4*

First off it is in a BEAUTIFUL neighborhood, we were greeted at the door by 2 doormen, they helped with our luggage, as soon as we walked in the door the concierge was right at the door and said “it’s the birthday princess we have been waiting for you all morning! ” My mom and I looked at each other and couldn’t believe what an awesome welcome. When I booked the hotel in the notes I wrote that we were celebrating my daughters 9th birthday and this is going to be her first time in Chicago and we were going to the American girl store. A few days after booking the hotel they wrote an email asking her name because they would like to have a personal birthday card for her and an amenities. When I read it I thought how amazing! I believe the concierges name was Roanna (spelling? ) her and Dwayne were amazing my daughter had a smile ear to ear! Roanna told my daughter before we went up on the elevator that whatever she wanted she called down to her. Dwayne took us to our room super friendly and amazing! We walk in our room and on the bed was balloons and an American girl activity craft book! Dwayne told us a place around the corner to go get snacks in our room if we wanted them. We left the hotel checked out the city and when we came back to the hotel the hotel phone rang I answered they said they have been waiting for us to get back because they had cookies and milk for the birthday girl! Sure enough cookies milk and a personalized card were delivered. Room was HUGE! Very clean! Bathroom was heated, queen sized beds, great pillows! I will forever be grateful for how special they made this experience!
