Hi all, overall we had a pleasant 10+ day stay… hotel is convienently located right off Ogden and Illinois 59… and only one mile south of I-88… so its easy to get to… there is a full blown mall 2 streets over so you have endless shopping choices and about 30+ restaurant choices 2-3 mins away by car… there is 2 major bar/clubs by the mall and the popular Saddle Up Dance Hall is close by (walk to) This hotel easily sells out on Fri and Sat with club patrons… mention your staying at Super 8 for free admission some nights. IMPORTANT TIP: this hotels parking lot is smallish with no complete circle around the hotel… larger vehicles with trailers or boats will find themselves backing out with difficulty. Suggest other accomidations if you have boat… trailer etc.

Do Not stay here. Try to charge my card $150 for smoking and I dont smoke never had and never will. I will never stay again. They was smoking on the 3 floor but it was not me. And didnt want to apologize when there house keeper told them where it was coming from.

I had to make a last minute reservation because of a rain storm and on my motorcycle. They were very pleasant and accommodating. Room was very clean and the staff was so nice.

Cheap rates for 2 nights 6/19-6/20. Got a handicapped room with a shower chair that we didn't need. Cigarettes under the bed were noted on our way out. Food was average. Staff was nice enough and got me more toiletries on request. Housekeeping provided new towels fine. The biggest issue was the hideous smell in the room It smelled rotten like something died. We were unsure if it was the carpet or a. C. We bought some Glade spray and that didn't help. Housekeeping did not improve that smell. Also on our second night, the cops were pounding on our and everyone elses' door. Nice enough people running it, but things could have been better.

Nice place but nothing fancy. Few issues most channels on the TV where frozen and the free breakfast was so so. The pool area was very nice. Did here the front desk arguing with 3 different customers during our stay.

They seem to be worried about people taking their electronics/appliances. They were screwed into the furniture. Staff was nice.

I checked in 5/28/18 for one nite stay. The rooms are clean but beware of ants and there's plenty of them no food or window was open or out. The heating/air condition unit needs up dating and their was a strong beach/chlorine smell that lingered in the bathroom for 7-8 hours. Management claim there was nothing that could be done. There is ants in my clothes.

First and last time. Never again. I found random patches of thick black dirt (? ) Around elevator and the room really wasn't all that clean. The mini fridge made very loud ticking noses and I was told it's because their fridges have very old compressors, I don't think it was a compressor. All in all, no I would not recommend. We left and went to the Comfort Inn off of route 31 in North Aurora, for the same price it's way nicer.

Nasty dirty rooms. This place use to be a good place to stay. The last 2 times have been really bad with this place. Dont let the extra half star fool you. I won't be staying here again. I'm a Wyndham Diamond member and know most of the decent Wyndham hotels in the area. I highly recommend the Days Inn located in Arlington Heights.

After say I had a wonderful time they have an indoor pool cable TV and big b's that on very comfortable.

Really nice looking place. Staff was pretty okay. Can be a hit or a miss. But other than that, the prices are pretty nice, rooms are do-able.

Awesome the hotel, the pool and the Jacuzzi Wow, amazing.

Super clean rooms, the suites were amazing, jetted tub was SUPER loud tho. Lol bed wasn't the most comfortable but I usually cant sleep anywhere but my home either. Could use more seating in the breakfast area. Breakfast options are great tho.

Shower was great, good water pressure. Breakfast was good too.

Stayed in a regular room first night and Jacuzzi second… loved the breakfast and the room…

First experience with super 8 wasnt bad. They had a pool and hot tub as well as nice rooms. Only complaint was their free breakfast was only toast and waffles.

The accommodations were acceptable, the reason for 1 star is I used my debt card and their system double charged me. They blame it on the bank which is bologna, the bank didn't double charge me, YOU DID. Then they told me it would take 7-10 days to rectify, if called my bank right away and had the charge reversed. The way they acted when I called was just straight up shady so If you stay here always use cash, I won't be staying here again.

Ms. Seema was very nice. Last minute on a Saturday I was looking for a suite and needed it for a week. She was able to accommodate me. She made sure I had enough face towels, body towels, shampoo and conditioner. Once I got to the room I noticed the room was not vacuumed, I went right back to her and she got the housekeepers to come and clean it Sunday morning. Best associate they have!

The hotel was nasty. Customer service wasn't great. But they are better than they used to be.

Right when you walk in you the dirty walls. The room smelled like smoke even though it was non smoking and the bathroom smelled worse. The room was outdated. The only good things were the staff was friendly, the bed was clean, and the bathroom side from the smoke was clean as well.

It was an okay hotel. Overprice for the ammenties. The hot tub is super small. It would fit about 3 people. The hotel smells greatly of clorine from the pool. The room is small, but a good space. The tub and toilet are in a small, dark room with the sink in the room. Overall it was an alright hotel. The front desk do not know what they are doing at all though. We have been here 3 times because it's the closet to campus. Yet each time it takes at least 15 minutes to get checked in.

Get what you pay for. Carpet kinda dirty. 2/3 of the parking lot was being painted so instead of making sure there were enough spots for guests, they made everyone park on the streets, making the walk back to the building over a block away. Tiny pool with overflowing basket of towels that didn't change the whole 12 hours we were there. Service was fine and the best were comfy.

Beds were comfy. Hallways and elevators smelled. Floors in room were very dirty. Breakfast was not good. Waffle mix too watery. Orange juice was a strange color, rolls were old icing on then was discolored.

Rooms were clean staff was friendly and with an indoor pool based on the rate this is a great choice.

Two stars for this hotel is maybe a little generous. This is an ok hotel and the price was not bad, but they really need to live up to their end as well. When the hotel is non-smoking you expect the rooms to not smell like smoke. Not the case. It wasn't like just yesterday someone smoked here, and it wasn't overbearing, just annoying and unfortunate. I suspect it is in the carpet and drapes and that's why it is lingering. Calling the front desk resulted in no other room available, and cleaner is available if you would like to clean. Wow. Otherwise, the hotel appears to be relatively clean, the pool was pretty small, but nice to have. Beds weren't great but not bad. Room size was good, bathroom was adequate. Microwave and fridge in the room, flat screen TV. Free breakfast with waffles you make yourself, juice, etc. Again, overall I would give it just under two stars because of the smell, otherwise a solid two star hotel.

When I made the appointment I had to call back to find out if they had sent the confirmation which they had not yet. When I asked for rooms next to each other they said no problem. I had confirmation for two rooms on the first floor. I went to confirm the reservation the day before we were leaving found out that they had given my other party a handicapped room even though he isn't he's just a senior in age so they switch the rooms to the second floor and I asked were the rooms next to each other and they said yes. We arrived at the hotel checked in and found out that the rooms were not next to each other they were actually on opposite ends of the hall from each other. There were problems inside the room that I had to call the front desk for and they failed to mention to me that there was a soccer team surrounding my room. They kept me awake the night before they kept me awake last night and I went out at 1 am and told them guys I have to sleep can you take it somewhere else! I have never had such a bad experience with super 8 before I was actually really looking forward to staying here but in addition the air conditioner kept coming on even though it shouldn't have. It froze me out I had to turn it off actually. It was just not a good experience. The TV wouldn't work when I came in I had to unplug it and plug it back in. Same way with the phone. There was a light bulb out had to get that replaced then the hair dryer wouldn't work at first.

First time staying at this Super 8. We most definitely enjoyed our stay. The young lady at the front desk that checked us in was very pleasant. The room was exceptionally clean, the cleaning person forgot to leave towels and coffee in the room but it's all good. The next morning we had a really good breakfast to start our day, the property and hotel are both very well kept. Great job Super 8

Comfortable room. Staff all were wonderfully helpful. But the breakfast offered was sparse.

This was a comfortable stay and priced right for the accommodation. The staff in the evening and the morning were wonderful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Where do I begin? One of us got a call to confirm her reservation. Problem is, she was here at the hotel and it was 2 a. M.! Our room didn't lock from the outside, so anyone could walk in, but they did nothing about it. The pool is TINY and the hot tub was scalding. Another friend got a wake-up call @ 6:30 a. M. Even though she didn't request one. They harassed us all to get out at the checkout time. Another lady's key card kept demagnetizing. One person got charged for 2 nights when she reserved only 1. And no one cared about any of this at the front desk. I wouldn't waste my money.

Beautiful hotel nice clean pool friendly staff clean rooms nice lobby ime and my family will come here again soon.

Some of the front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. I felt discriminated at times because I seen that other guests were treated better. Housekeeping does an okay job, they did not do a thorough cleaning the first day.

The cleaning people picked up one of our bow ties for a wedding. Lost it, found it the day after the wedding didn't tell us they found it. Just hinted to look beside the beds. They hid it in the room beside the bed. Where I know I looked. The hotel it self is nice, beds are soft. But I won't stay in a place that lies to me.

The hotel itself isnt bad. Its perfect for just spending the night. I rented there once and it went fine. The other night I got to the hotel at about midnight. I gave them my name as I had made a reservation a few weeks prior. I gave them my card and I. D. Like last time and I was rejecw because I am not 21 yet. I spent an hour, between 12&1, searching for a hotel that wasnt booked full. So like I said the room was average and the hotel was fine but they dont have it together. Terrible.

My stay was great. Nice clean room. No stains or damage. Pool area well maintained as well. And who doesn't love making a waffle for breakfast?

Let me start off by saying the people are pllite. The issue is that my room smelled like smoke, the elivator had "pop rocks" spilt all over it… The elivator was broken… The room was dirty… The bathroom light made me feel like a turtle… It was red… The brake fast was non existent, the maid (an illegal) ate it all before anyone could get anything.

Room was dirty. Door didn't close all the way. (It locked, but you can see light from the window around the frame), We felt unsafe just walking to the vending machine. I tried to express my issues with the front desk and they said since I had booked through Priceline, I had to speak with them.? I was at their hotel, what would Priceline have to do with that? I canceled the remainder of my trip and found another hotel. I called Priceline for a refund. Priceline called the hotel and they said since we hadn't registered a complaint, they would only reimburse for one night. What a screwup. Don't ever book at this hotel!
