The room was disgusting, nosy and infested with roaches running around, have to check out immediately!

I booked a reservation at the Sleep Inn & Suites locates at 10127 Washington Boulevard, Laurel, Md 20723. I booked this hotel solely for the indoor pool. It is my son’s 7th birthday and he just wanted to go swimming despite having a winter birthday. When we were ready to go swimming we noticed a sign on the door stating the pool was closed. This was not listed anywhere on the website and I wasn’t not made aware during check-in. If I was aware of the pool being closed I would have cancelled my reservation and went somewhere else. I am highly dissatisfied with my stay. People not only book hotels for the room but MAINLY FOR THE AMENITIES. I could have stayed home if I simply needed a place to sleep.

Stayed at the one in Baltimore Maryland and I would check everything ASAP.

Rooms were dirty, pool was closed on first night. Vendlng machines were out of most sodas and water. Overall I suppose typical but if I had a choice I wouldn’t choose it.

The only reason I got the hotel was for the pool for my daughter. The first night we got there the guy said it was closed because the heater was broke and it would be fixed by the next day. Went the next day and said it’s not fixed yet and told me it would be fixed the next day. Same thing happened the next day. If the pool wasn’t working I wouldn’t have stayed. Also, the room was bad. Ceiling had a stain on it, a few outlets didn’t work, and it smelled like weed. Overall a horrible experience.

We got our room through Hotwire. When we arrived the air conditioning unit was extremely loud (whirring and knocking sounds) and there was black mold inside of it. The room was very humid, so much so that the carpeted floor and blankets on the bed were mildly damp. We asked for a new room and the man at the front desk said it would be no problem, he would put us into a new room as soon as one was clean. He was very nice. When we arrived in our new room it was equally as humid/damp as the last and smelled very strongly of chlorine. We decided it was just better to find a more comfortable place to stay. Two stars because the man at the front desk was very nice and accommodating, the rooms just weren’t up to our standards.

Nice staff, good pool. The bed was comfortable and it was fairly peaceful at night. The room could have been cleaner. There was a stain on the curtains, they obviously needed to be washed. Someone spilled coffee and splatter was left on the walls.

Clean, convenient. Spacious room for the 3 of us. Could have had 4 easily. Air conditioning was awesome! Breakfast was decent. They have a waffle maker!

It was adequate, when we expect to have a good experience at a Sleep Inn. The temperature could not be adjusted. A revival took place in a meeting room directly across the hall from our room. It was amplified to the point of distortion, so that we could not hear the TV in our room. It ended just before 10pm, thankfully. The shower was okay, no bath. Shampoo was provided, but not conditioner. The lotion tube was almost empty. The bed was a bit soft, and there were pillows of varying degrees of firmness. For the price, we got good value. Would we stay here again? Not sure.

I wanted to give this a chance, but disappointed. The breakfast area was small, but plenty of options. The rooms were not clean, found a bug in my kids room and mine, so we checked out. Pool water looked filmy. Also not sure who authorizes parties there, but they need to realize that the rooms are not soundproof. Saturday night and Sunday night they had parties on the first floor and my rooms were vibrating. The front desk said they would be over by 10pm, but it was still going at 10:30. That might not sound late to you, but I wasn't interested in a vibrating room when I want to sleep.

The hotel was fine. We had a good night there but it could have been better. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow though in some parts of the room. The breakfast buffet didn't have much.

My fiance and I stayed here for two days. No issues during the stay and before hand everyone was very phone friendly to speak with us. The hotel charged me twice for a room on the same day and the charge came through my account a few days later. Me and my fiance were not only hung up on continuously but the employees continued to mislead us about who was in charge and who should be spoken with to rectify this issue.

BEWARE! BED BUGS! I was a guest in room 427 last night. I was bitten in my eye the day of an important interview. Currently sitting in the lobby where I was told I could not get a refund until a manager was in. I have bites all over my arms and hands.

I was kind of shocked to find that there was no alarm clock in the room. Maybe I've gotten used to seeing them, but it seemed strange that the room had no alarm clock. And the other thing that I found strange was in the complimentary breakfast area, there was a sign which pretty much tried to discourage guests from taking food to their rooms. Yet, the seating area was so small that if a group of people (basketball team, for example) wanted to sit and eat, all of them wouldn't be able to do so.

If I could put negative I would I was not happy with any of this the breakfast attendant was rude n nasty the food was gross not cooked the door to our room was not working right the beds were small the pool was perfect size but there were no towels n the water was cloudy.

I stayed in the Super 8 down the street the night before because it's where my company chose and it was a pure nightmare so I decided to pay for my own room and chose this place. I was impressed by the friendly staff and the clean feel of the hotel especially given the rough area it's located in. My room was clean and spacious as was the bathroom. My only complaint would be that it was very warm and humid in the hallways and lobby and the TV was not working which they had signs posted in the hotel apologizing for so I assume the problem won't be long lasting. Made for longer sleeping anyway. Parking can be tricky because the lot is really small so good luck there. I will definitely stay here again if needed.

Got a good price. Room was clean. It's across the street from a questionable hotel but it didn't interfere with my stay. It's a nice hotel. The McDonald's a few blocks away was not good tho.

This hotel appears to be fairly new and up to date. The rooms were clean and quiet and the staff was friendly. The parking lot seemed small for a hotel this size and with several large tucks taking up multiple spaces parking gets tight some nights.

Much better than the last Sleep In we stayed at. Comfortable bed and a good night's sleep.

They have a gym, burly anything worked. They have this treadmill thats only meant for incline, you can't fix it to be steady, they have weights but you cant even use it… don't come here if you hope to have a great experience of working out.

Clean, good value, good customer service overnight. Not great in the morning. Wouldn't even give me a yogurt from the refrigerator when I came 10 minutes after breakfast was done. Not enough trolleys/carts for transporting luggage.

My room was nicely decorated and very clean. I have stayed at this hotel a few times as I have traveled back and forth from Florida to NY and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is personable and the continental breakfast is a real plus.

Horrible, can hear everything through walls loud sex, some guy practicing on his clarinet, roaches crawling around, abandoned car in the parking lot, old furniture, lamps with busted bulbs, low water pressure, small TV with no movies offered, seems lke people from the neighborhood living in hotel, low point of my visit to maryland, would not recomend, definitely not a 4.2 star more like 1 star, im pissed I burnt my money.

Front desk was very polite and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. You really can't beat it for the price we got it for.

The first thing I noticed about the hotel was the cleanliness! All the employees we came in contact with were very nice. The hotel was located in a spot that was close to a store and numerous restaurants and liquor stores. We felt welcome and we will definitely be back.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and smelled AMAZING. My boys had a blast in the indoor pool and breakfast was on point with waffles, bacon and sausage along with some other things as well!

Not very clean the rooms. Walls, floors, bathroom, furniture, not very clean, notepad not renewed, pen found opened. The beds are clean as well as the floor and lobby. Internet works fine though. Staff are friendly and the breakfast is good.

Surprisingly poor condition and staff attitude for a Choice branded hotel. Stayed night of Dec 11. Hard to believe this location passes inspection. Staff was borderline rude, barely acknowledging guests at check-in. Elevator's 1st floor button was dangling on wires back inside the control panel, and sign suggested passengers push the 2nd floor button and then walk down to first floor. Looking at reviews, it must have been this way for some time. General condition of the hotel was shabby, with obvious neglect of things that would be easy to fix. Room was not clean and no effort had been put in, even to wipe off easily removed stains on walls. Five minutes of my own efforts with a cloth made it a bit better, but I shouldn't have to clean my own room upon check-in.

Great place very clean and comfortable the staff is amazing housekeeping is excellent I always visit the state of Maryland because of family members and this is the first time I stood at this location Sleep Inn & Suites Laurel Maryland 20707 and I will not stay anywhere else very accommodating close-by shopping centers great breakfast lots of smiles and hospitality take my advice I am a diamond member when choice and this is one of the best locations me and my family has ever stood not to mention a great pool Fitness Center Business Center great parking and very safe the general manager's name is KK and he will go above and beyond literally to help with anything needed … shaun thompson.

I thought this was a new building. The room was nice but the furnishings were old and stained. The mattress was a cheap and you could feel the springs. Also I don’t why motels are not putting full size pillows on beds but this one had six half size one. The breakfast was ok but they had sausage and bacon but no eggs go figure.

I will be staying here during the Thsnksgiving holiday. I have read the views and hope to have an awesome room. It seems like from reading the reviews some rooms are better than others as well as quiet. I expect one of those great, clean, quiet rooms during our stay. Looking forward to check in!

Great Hotel for overnight or extended stay. Comfortable, Modern Suite style rooms, excellent bedding, Just a nice calm overall experience.

Check-in staff sucked we stood there for 20mins while he was "checking us in" I thought he was playing a game or buying stuff with my credit card that he held onto the whole time. Pool room sucked freezing water, NO TOWELS for 2 days, No lights were on & we had to find the switch ourselves. Breakfast was a joke Cheerios and Yogurt. Stains on the linen's on 1 of our beds. Guy at the check-in desk had no clue about the town we were in or that there was menus for local restaurants in our room in the hotel folder. Wi-Fi sucked and didn't work we had 4 different devices and non worked. Maids seemed friendly that was the only upside.

The place is very nice. I just think the price is very high for one night.

The room we stayed in last night was disgusting. The star rating can't possibly be correct on this hotel. We arrived late, so in all honesty, I only checked the beds. We showered from home before hitting the road, so there was no need to shower once we got to the hotel. When we woke up to get started with our day, this is what we experienced… broken shower door, broken lamp shade, something on the curtains and and the sheers at the window that appeared to be blood. We Spoke with someone at the front desk and all he could say about the situation was, "sorry". I will never and I do mean NEVER stay here again.

Very clean and quiet. Friendly helpful staff.

Walked in, noticed the Lobby was dirty, pool completely cloud and the smell of chlorine was overpowering. (this means it is in desperate need of more chlorine). Elevator was 100 degrees with foul smell. Room one, black grim on the light switches, hair in the sinks and shower. Asked for second room no better than the first. We left and got another hotel. I told the front desk why we were leaving and all she kept saying was "I am sorry. " Lost our money but slept well in another clean and appreciative hotel.

Great staff; clean facility; key entry only after certain hours; comfortable & affordable.

I stay in Choice hotel 99% of my travel time, usually Sleep Inn as they are usually clean, comfortable and well priced. Upon check inn the clerk seemed lost, unfocused and uninterested and slow. The room, the floor smelled of smoke-and not cigarette! The rug seemed like it was vacuumed in a straight line, as there were clubs and such beneath the chair and along side the bedside table. Mattress so uncomfortable-but the pillows were great! The cabinet that housed the refrigerator had a serious case of mold and rot in the bottom corner — my guess it leaks. There was what looked like exploded soda on the wall, in the sleeping area. The bathroom above the light fixtures has the beginnings of a mold/ so sort of funky growth. Some sort of spots in the tub — I rinsed them away so unsure what they were. The last thing is when the repainted this room, the arch way top was not painted. When we check out — this very uninterested women ask me " did you have a good stay? " I started to explain — she just turned away — so I didn't feel the need to complete the conversation to her back. I have pictures if you want the for the stuff in this review, of course except for the smelly room thing. So there you go.

Rooms good breakfast good. But man they don't know how to tell some guests to settle down. Non stop kids running around and banging doors. Not their fault about the guests obviously. But def could tell them to pipe down. Good hotel.

Smelled like cigarette despite no smoking signs and breakfast was mediocre.

I visitied Sleep Inn Suites to attend a 50th birthday party. The location was fines and the service was okay, as far as I seen. The staff was welcoming and friendly. However, the event room was pretty small. We quickly ran out of tables and chairs. The staff did try to accommodate us by bringing out more chairs, but that was an hour before the event was scheduled to end. Chairs were freeing up shortly after. My opinion of this location is neutral. I wasn't there long enough to have an noteworthy experience.

Service was very good. The breakfast was great. The room was clean but the chair cushion was ripped.

Hotel was miserable. My own fault, went with a cheap hotel. I typically am very generous with my "Google stars, " but this was bad. Internet is too slow to load email, much less watch a video or game. Frequent disconnects. Addressed it with front desk, was told "that's weird, we're paying a lot for 'high-speed' internet. " His solution was to give me a cat V cable, which would have been an excellent solution if the hotel's rooms had any internet wall outlets. Room was relatively clean. Not a health hazard, but not impeccable. As expected, with no visible insects/bugs. A/C is extremely cold and worked well. Fridge froze all my seltzer waters. No sleeping pillows, only throw pillows. My biggest complaint was the smell. It was apparent tonight another guest enjoyed a few hours of marijuana consumption in his or her room. The entire third floor was absolutely nauseating. I smelled it immediately when the elevator reached my floor. I informed the front desk on my way out for the evening. He informed me he would take care of it. I returned three hours later, and the smell was even worse than before. I then informed the lady who was on night shift and she said "sorry, I'm the only one on shift. " I had rudely interrupted her personal cell phone call, so I understand her shortness. At the end of the day, the cheapest hotel in Laurel that isn't an outdoor motel gets you exactly that — a drug infested, somewhat clean, poor service hotel — 2 stars tops. Most unfortunate.

Standard hotel breakfast. For some reason, the bathroom doesn't have an exhaust fan. Overall, passable and cheap.

Generally good service and accommodations. Did however find cigarette burns in the blankets. Big turn-off.

The bathroom could be better the breakfast was terrible made everyone stomach hurt the lamp and the refrigerator was broken they left old coffee in the refrigerator that had an old smell to it. The Wi-Fi sucks the sheets were dirty the beds were soft the chair had a dirty spot on it I say go somewhere else other than here.

This hotel is comfy, I stay there often. A few things can be improve, but nothing big (only one elevator that takes forever, the bathrooms updated, etc). There customer service skills are good for the most part. The price is fair for the room provided. I have no major complaints.

Hotel room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a bit skimpy compared to similar fare at other hotels. Biggest frustration was with the "high speed" internet connection which crawled between 1-2 kbps (that's not a typo). I would not recommend this place for the business traveler as a result.

The front desk lady was awesome! She is very patient, professional and understanding. The hotel really needs a refreshment. There was an odd smell of something smoky in the room and the lamp shade needed replacement. Then I saw two bugs the size of a pinhead crawling on the wall. After much comparison online, they strongly resembled juvenile bed bugs. So I promptly changed rooms. The second was in much better shape than the last. I'm thinking the first room was partied in a little too hard… anyhoo, no signs of the bugs in that room and I did not wake up with any bite marks. So despite the hiccup, my stay was decent, the room was quiet, and had no problems with the staff.

Very nice hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Bathrooms are nice and spacious with lots of counter space. I found the internet to be slow but otherwise worked fine. Unfortunately the pillows leave some to be desired. They were small and flat. Breakfast was fine, although there was not a hot option.

I loved this hotel the front desk is friendly and everything is very clean. The rooms where awesome, the bathrooms where huge it had a minnie frige a microwave a blow dryer plus an indoor pool and much more. Can't wait to go again. :-)
