Our stay was great! We were in the process of moving to the area from out of state and needed somewhere for at least a few days while we looked for a place to live. The room was comfortable, clean, and had all the basic necessities. The location was convenient for us travelling all over the area to look at different areas to live. Also, Walmart and new Starbucks down the street were a nice convenience. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Kathy S. Several times and she gave us some great tips about the area. She was amazing!

Great Location you can walk to nearby food places and stores. Came in from out of town the rooms were nice and reasonable! No complaints great prices will stay again. Young lady Kathleen at the front desk gave an outstanding first impression. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. Five stars for her and the hotel!

I just would like to say the young lady Kathleen that works at the desk was amazing. She was so helpful Jolly and cheerful she makes you want to come stay at Motel 6 every time I come to Washington DC. We need a wonderful bright intelligent women working at all at the front Desk like Kathleen.

Comfortable room but with a strong cigarette smell. Wi-Fi was not working.

I paid for the fast Wi-Fi, but I couldn't get online. Second, I booked the hotel for the pool so my kids can use, but the pool was not operable. Third, night shift staff could use more training on costumer service. Lastly, each room should have a small fridge and a microwave, to avoid costumers going down during the different seasons to go use the one fridge and microwave that you guys have for the entire hotel.

My Second Reservation was cancelled with a credit card holding the room (Arrived at before 4pm). Motel fully booked only had one single room to replace the double room that was booked. Had to purchase a air mattress for the single room. Still fully charged us for the motel era. Also TV was not working.

It is difficult to rate this place, after having stayed at Marriott's for the past 15 years. My opinion may be a bit biased. It was a small room. My only complaint really was the beds. The mattresses are horrible! Upon entering the room, I could SEE the sag in the mattresses! It really is the only thing that I found wrong. This is obviously not a high end hotel. It served it's purpose for what we needed it for. All of the staff was pleasantly friendly. I would go back again, but only if the mattresses were replaced. As far as recommending this place… it's an individual thing. If you don't have a lot of money, then I say stay here. I have stayed at another location and the experience was awful. This place was clean… no smelly odors. The mattresses were the issue.

The man who checked me in had to of been the ruddest person I've ever encountered during check-in time. I told him I wanted a smoking room, he gives me a non smoking room, then argues me down about what I said. He tells me it's too late to change the rooms since I'm past the allowed time to change a room… I guess if you don't run immediately to your room and back downstairs in 5 minutes you are sol… He then says he will have to come check the room to make sure I didn't "mess up the room". About 10 minutes later he comes to my room smoking a cigarette and does a firm complete walk through then gives me the key to another room. With such a careful walk through I'd assume my next room would be just as clean and taken care of. Boy was I wrong… I guess because of his inconvenience of having to come look at my room and giving me the key to a new room he gives me the nastiest smoking room possible. I've stayed here for years on and off and this was a completely different experience. I'd have to say my last experience almost 2 years ago when the water was shut off overall was better than my last stay. Least my room was clean, the staff was friendly, and apologetic to the situation. This dude that waited on me clearly hates hit job… Why not bring in someone who doesn't have a street thug mentality attitude do customer service? If it wasn't already after 1am when I checked in I would of just went somewhere else.

The rooms are okay. However, the only microwave is with the washers/dryers. You have to sign out the iron and board. The hot water is very unpredictable. There is a notice that says use the safe… there is no safe! They state they will change linen every 3 days. I have been here a week. The only thing that has been done is replacing my towels. Bed is left how I leave it or made as if a 3rd grader did it. The only good news is that it is cheap and close to everything.

I was driving from New England to Charleston SC with my dog. I did not have hotel reservations because I wished to drive until I grew tired at the end of each day. I was growing tired when this Motel Six appeared right on the main road. It looked inviting and well kept. I checked in and had a great sleep that night! This is a no frills, safe, economical and clean motel. If you are looking for basic, clean and safe economy, check out this motel.

It was a great hotel with a clean environment and plenty of towels. The people were very nice and did. A great job. Plus the price was a steal. Couldn't find anything cheaper so. That was a plus.

A lovely motel, room was very nice and clean, soft beds and nice, humble little shower. Only upgrade I can think of is maybe adding complementary sampoo and conditioner, as there is only a bar of soap, but was not as big as problem as there is a convenience store just across the street. Again, a very lovely, welcoming business which made me feel like a guest, not a customer, thank you.

The two gentlemen at the front desk were joyful and polite! My room was clean and fresh. The rooms were modern and updated. The location was perfect and had plenty of stores and restaurants nearby.

Despite the way this facility's outside looks, I pleasantly pleased with the room inside. Clean, stylish and met my handicapped needs nicely.

I have stayed at this Motel 6 in Laurel, MD for 30+ days so far and found the rooms to be very clean, front-desk staff very helpful and friendly, and excellent room value for your money. The bed in the room is very comfortable to sleep. Again, the room is very clean and the house staff does an excellent job. Highly recommend this Motel 6!

My motel room was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful with information in the area. I gave this motel a 3 star only because the walls are very thin and the guest in the room next to me was extremely loud and the noise lasted for HOURS. However, for a place to lay your head as you pass through it was worth it.

I had a very warm welcome when I arrived. The staff was courteous towards me. I didn't have to wait in a long line to get key to my room.

Room was clean, no problems other than the labeling on the heater controls was worn off so you couldn't tell how to adjust the heater. It was way too hot. The Wi-Fi isn't free ($5/user) and very slow. At times it died. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Great location with easy access to shopping, etc. The fact that our pet could stay with us is why we chose this hotel. We will stay here again.

I have used this company for the last year for my weekend getaways! The rooms were very clean, the front desk was very helpful and very kind. The property was well kept. I highly recommend motel 6 to anyone to stay!

The hotel staff is absolutely wonderful! Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping. The rooms are clean, and DO NOT HAVE ANY NASTY CARPET! Well kept hard wood floors, and new heating units. One of the BETTER spots to stay in the area.

This is the best motel 6 I ever stayed in. Staff is Stupendous. The first desk ms. Kathy is awesome and so pleasant. I will always come here when I need to stay in a motel.

I was very disappointed as I left your site yesterday morning. I hadn't thought it necessary to check, but I was missing a bath towel in my room. By the time I was ready to shower, all I could find was the hand towel, a wash cloth, and the foot towel. Fortunately, I am small enough and limber enough that I could make the hand towel work after the shower. When I reported this to the front desk attendant, her response was "I'll let housekeeping know. " There was no acknowledgement of the inconvenience. By comparison on another stay at a Hampton Inn, I was traveling with my infant daughter. When I checked out there, I was asked how my night was. I mentioned that the air conditioner coming on and off throughout the night kept waking my daughter up. I was mentioning this more to let them know the AC in that room was rather loud. Without giving it a second thought, my night's stay was refunded on the spot. I will be certain to count the towels on my next stay at a Motel 6.

If a smoking room doesn't mean the blankets should be in holes. The door to the bathroom was not closed when you shower, all the water on the floor.

We love staying at the Motel 6 in Laurel, Md. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff at the check in desk are friendly and professional. We stay there like almost every weekend to get away. Highly recommend this motel.

I stayed two nights at this Motel 6. The first night was in a single 1st floor smoking unit. It was the worst hotel room I've ever had. The a/c was broken and couldn't be turned off… brrr. The filters on the A/C were so encrusted with soot and dust that they wouldn't hardly go into the slots, and the room smelled as if someone had sat there and smoked 3packs a day for 30 years then tried to douse the smell with cheap perfume. The floors were buckling up and the furniture's veneer was peeling on every piece. I transferred to a 1st floor non-smoking room and was delightfully surprised with the difference. This was the experience I wanted and expected from Motel 6! The staff was fabulous and service was great.

Steve the front desk clerk was really helpful and extremely polite. He noticed that I was staying for 2 weeks and offered me a better rate than Expedia did. I was so grateful to him for going the extra mile for me. The rooms were clean and smelled nice. The only drawback was the prison shower. Bathroom is super huge. But the shower head and the water dispenser of it is God awful. Great location between the shopping centers grocery stores and everything else easy access to the Beltway if you're driving.

The website showed the price as $55. When I called for reservation she said it was $69.99. Then she offered senior citizens discount of $10. She booked the room for me for 2 full size beds. The person at the desk didn't appear friendly at all. He gave us a room with only one full size bed. When I asked him that my reservation stated two full size bed he said that was the only room available. We were not comfortable in that bed. Kept waking up in the night because of the discomfort of the bed.

Nice room. Hardwood floors and super clean. No bed bugs. Was the best thing about our trip. Traffic from Annapolis to D. C. Is awful. Never again.! But great motel.

Spent better part of 2010 here while working on a long project. So, of course I stayed here (close to BWI Airport) on a re-visit this year. It's simply one of my many good M6 places to stay across the country. As they say, "Always a good clean room, for a good price" and … they leave the light on for you. What else do you you need, late at night? It's my 'home' on the way back home.

This was a great place to stay. I travel on business and like to check into M 6 because I get a comfortable sleep and for most part the places are modern n come with whay you need for a comfortable stay. This hotel was no exception. Friendly staff and comfortable stay. Even managed to make the serious night clerk laugh a bit. I was given a room with two queen beds. I told him that was great. When I got tired of sleeping in one bed, I could change to the other one. When he got it, he laughed too. Well worth the time spent there.

All right down to the shower. You need stronger nerves.

I don't understand the bad reviews! I have been staying here for a week and it has been a very pleasant stay. The rooms are nice and clean and comfortable. The hard wood floors are very nice. Based on the reviews, I brought sheets with me but didn't need to use them because their sheets were white, unstained, soft, and clean. The pillows were nice too. I wasn't expecting cable or HBO so that was a pleasant surprise. The towels are a little exfoliating but served their purpose. I was also surprised that I got a 10% discount, free Wi-Fi, and a late check out with my AARP card. The pool is very nice and looks new. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a heat wave during my stay and the AC worked wonderfully. It was fabulous that I could bring my cat too free of charge. I would most definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Not even a bar of soap to shower with. People next to me were sitting out on balcony railing smoking a joint in public. Very scary when the sun sets. Too expensive for what little you get.

I had a reservation here but cancelled because of rude customer service. I arrived in the area earlier than expected and called to see if a room might be ready. I was immediately told with attitude their check in time. Then after explaining myself again, I was told again with an attitude, I didn't specify if I wanted a smoking or non smoking room! What the hell difference does that make (not to mention the online reeservation said nonsmoking. I was so disgusted I found another chain that happily checked and found a room and told me to come on down. I have to say I always stay at motel 6 and I have never had an expierence like this but it will make me think twice about using them again.

Room looked OK, was clearly renovated somewhat recently. Shower floor was in poor repair and the water alternated from scalding to freezing seemingly at random. Walls were paper thin, and noise from outside was nearly constant. No refrigerator or coffee maker. But the air conditioning was cold and the roof didn't leak, so there's that.

Clean rooms… The manager is a white male with thick glasses… Very rude and presumably racist! Descent size pool… Probably wouldn't return until they're under new management!

Ummmm ive been to a remodeled motel 6 and this is not it. This place is skanky and the manager is rude. Cleaning staff very nice, no fridge, no microwave, the vending machines do not work and police come through to deal with local riff raff.

No real renovations were made. Rooms are disgusting in the smoking area (those were the only available). Room 238 looks like a "just cleaned" crime scene: door once seriously forced, knife cuts on the bed sheets. Also, all showers shoot from 5' high (+ cigarette burns on toilet seat and shower).

Easy check in, quiet room, clean. The only bad things were stains on both the blankets and towels.

The worst motel in the area, broken power sockets, dirty, bad customer service. Wi-fi is not free and actually it's not working even for money… Small parking lot. We don't like the attitude of the personal at all…

Favoritable conditions for my service pets and me. I would stay there again, warm employees.

The one thing I liked about this motel is the price; however, you get what you pay for. After calling to verify availability, upon my arrival I was told by the lady at the front desk that they had no rooms available My response was that I just called 5 minutes ago. Her response well the rooms go fast. I left, went to my car and called the number I just called and made reservations because they DID have rooms available… When I came back in to check in 2 minutes later I spoke with the manager. Long story short I got my room. No apology. Just nonchalant. Moving along, I did notice stains on the sheets, I barely got any sleep because of the people beside me and last but not least the housekeeping lady argued that she could not give me 3 washcloths. Only 2. Really? But they're 3 of us in this room! I guess we were supposed to share the washcloths. SMH! Customer Service was lousy from the moment I stepped into this place, and ended with this RUDE housekeeper. My budget was tight so I had to put up with it but I cannot wait to check out of this place. Oh and they could've at least offered free Wi-Fi. But they don't. They charge everyday. Cheaper is not always better. One more positive. They do allow pets free of charge.

Clean, not smelly, seems renovated. Basic: no fridge, no microwave, no shampoo. The shower head was very low in height, came up to my shoulders. The water pressure was low also. Overall the place is clean and new, but it was weird having a police officer walk right after me into the lobby looking for someone that may or may not be working/living at the motel.

Recognizing that this is a cheep maybe 2 star hotel — my service was AMAZING! Really good staff. The room was clean and very modern. And they were extremely friendly with our kitties :) If I need to complain, very low quality sheets.
