The staff's are very friendly, food is delicious plenty of food choices. The hotel surroundings are very clean and smells refreshing what I mostly like is that they are pet friendly and minutes away from ocean front 6 minutes drive. Overall I give this hotel a 10+ I'll definitely be returning for another stay… special thanks to Jeff he's awesome and friendly very helpful with attractions information 😀 😊 🙂

Hotel was nice. The bed are quit high off the floor but comfortable. The pool is very small. Other guest were in the pool and there fake eyelashes and fake hair was all over the pool. My children were disgusted and refused to get back in. There was no toilet paper in the room when we got there. Will stay elsewhere when we come back to the area.

If you have small children I do not recommend staying here. My son moves in his sleep, like most children do. He fell out of bed and it has now traumatized him. Beds here are extremely high up, as if they are sitting on two box springs. Also a little disappointed. I understand we are experiencing a pandemic with COVID, but it would have been nice to know that the pool wasn’t open (BEFORE) check in. A note on the website would have been nice.

Thankful we're only staying one night. Our room, common areas and overall hotel is unacceptably dirty. Staff did offer a small credit and additional points. Unfortunately, what was offered is not even compareable to us paying over $500 for one night. We are very disappointed IHG Platinum Rewards members.

This is a nice hotel in the room was really really big there is a nice exercise room and swimming pool and free breakfast in the morning this is a great place to stay if you're going to Ocean City just a couple minutes drive from the boardwalk.

Very nice, newer up-to-date hotel. Inside heated pool, free breakfast which was also good. Prices were on par with any other Ocean City hotel. Walking distance to some food amenities. Rooms were clean, the refrigerator in our room didn't get cold as it should of. Really don't have any complaints about the hotel. Would stay again.

The price and location are perfect. The hotel was clean and quiet. This is my new go-to hotel for when I'm visiting Ocean City and Assateague.

Make sure if you stay here you check your sheets and basically everything. After driving for 5 hours and making this reservation in advance my husband and I arrived late Saturday night and what we found upon our arrival was despicable. There was urine and toilet paper in the toilet and smelly food in the trash can. After finding this I throughly checked EVERYTHING. There were hairs on the pillows as if after making the bed someone had laid in it. When I lifted the sheets there were little brown hairs EVERYWHERE and pink stains on the sheets. They were obviously not changed. We call up to the front and asked for a different room and were told there were none but they would bring us fresh stuff. Okay they did but we had to change them OURSELVES. After driving for hours that's the last thing we wanted to do. She assured us shes let the manager know on the morning which she DID NOT. When asked for a partial refund we were told no because we had the choice to leave when in reality we did not because we checked other places before making our reservation. When my husband started to get upset all they refunded was 77 dollars which is completely unacceptable after trying to place blame on us for staying. The manager couldn't even come out of the office to speak with us himself. I wouldnt stay here they clearly dont use fresh sheets for each guest and try to place blame on you for finding THEIR mistakes.

All the staff kept smiles on, made sure you had everything you needed, the 1 lady who set up the breakfast foods was wonderful she gets a 5 star rating with just her from me (wish I could have gotten her name). I would recommend this stay.

Clean, friendly, the beds are awesome… 7 mins from the beach all kinds of amusement along the strip. Nice we will be back!

This is the second year I have stayed at this hotel will my family and it is wonderful. The staff is always so friendly and helpful, the rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning is amazing! I love how convenient the location is as well and I we will continue to come back not only to this vacation spot, but also this hotel.

Awesome experience here at the Holiday Inn Express West. We had actually booked a room at another hotel but left after being disappointed by the state of the hotel when we arrived. Took a chance and reserved a room here because it’s hard to find a reasonable room on a Saturday in Ocean City. Upon entering, the lobby was bright and clean and the front desk employee was really pleasant. She kindly explained that they provide complimentary breakfast for guests in the morning. The two queen suite was more than enough room and had a pull out sofa in addition to the two queen beds. There was a small table and chair set as well. The bed was really comfortable. Bathroom was fine — not huge but not tiny and the Bath and Body Works products were great! Room also had a refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee machine. The room was immaculate which is a must and a relief after leaving a horrible hotel just prior to arriving here. In the morning the breakfast area was well stocked. Eggs, both turkey and pork sausage, cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, bagels among other items. Great to not have to worry about breakfast. My boys enjoyed the warm cinnamon buns the most! Have to say the woman that was working in the breakfast area on June 3rd was really nice and helpful. When we asked about the cinnamon buns — which were finished, she brought another warm tray out within minutes! Stellar employee! Upon returning I have no doubt that we’d stay here again without hesitation.

Lobby/general area is kind of drab, but the rooms are clean and nice. Comfortable beds! Would stay again.

All of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. Trey at the front desk was very attentive to our large group. He made sure we were taken care of and as a large group of Cheer girls he did an amazing job! My only complaint was there was only 2 seats in the pool area which seems a little silly. Definitely would come back the location was perfect with lots of dining choices close by and even the outlets down the street.

I've stayed there several times and it is always clean the breakfast is good the staff is amazing.

Wonderful place to stay while visiting Ocean City. The beds are unbelievable comfrontable to sleep on, the room design is fresh clean and modern. Plus the hotel has a complementary HOT breakfast that is delicious.

Hotel is fine. What you expect from HI. Very disappointed because they said they did not have any king rooms whenwe got here which is what we should have got. But they had a king sweet. For more money. Any good hotel would have honored their booking.

Yes every employee was very friendly, professional and helpful. I stayed two nights with my 95-year-old mother in law. She is very healthy and very active for her age.
I stay at holiday in express is all over the world. This was a wonderful place however the beds were way too high! My mother-in-law had to get up on a chair in order to get into the bed. How do the children get in these beds? The beds are way to high! I would recommend some type of stepstool for elderly and children. Also the bathtubs were very slippery! I had to call housekeeping in order to get a rubber bathmat so my mother-in-law or I would not slip in the tub. I did voice my opinion when I checked out of the hotel. I would personally go back and stay at this Holiday Inn Express. However if I had children with me or an elderly adult with me I would have to look for another location. I hope you’re not losing business because of this reason.

Staff is very friendly. Overall the hotel seems very well maintained, but we ran into a few issues. Started in one room and the lock, "was low on battery" and we were moved to another room. Enjoyed it for the most part but the walls are thin (could hear the neighbor coughing), there were ants in the bathroom, the shower knob fell off and you couldn't take a bath. Would stay again but only for a discounted rate.

Great location right outside Ocean City. Service was great. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. Definitely staying again.

I liked the location, it was easy to get in and out of. The room was pretty nice. An odd thing is that the beds are very high, probably good for people that have a hard time getting out of chairs.

Nice and clean. Comfy beds so comfy we have slept though breakfast the past two days. Would diffently stay here again. Just one thing I wish they had an outdoor pool. I am not a fan of indoor pools.

Rooms are VERY nice and clean. The staff was VERY patient with me because my forgetful self forgot a lot of important stuff in my room come check out so they had to hunt for it. I also lost a flash drive behind the TV/dresser and they let me borrow thier grabber. Breakfast is okay for free. The coffee was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. I'd stay here again.

Front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, bathroom. Stocked. AC worked and was quiet. No frills but good stay.

The hotel staff was friendly, great rates imo, good location. I stayed 2 days with 4 friends, its got great air conditioning and REALLY comfortable beds which is all that matters at the end of the night after a long day at the beach.

The room was always kept clean, and free breakfast was always hot and fresh. But, the elevators have no AC and the pullout couch could be better. Had a good experience but, could be better.

I enjoyed my stay. It was very clean and well kept. The breakfast in the morning was great. Plenty to choose from. However, I think the room was way over priced for just one night. Given the fact that it wasn't even located near the heart of ocean city.

Good start. My wife's car got broken into but luckily we caught the person in the act and were able to recover all items from his pockets. The night staff was helpful during the incident. No complaints about the service, but having your car broken into is unnerving at the least. Would stay here again.

They have a little machine that makes pancakes! My children and I stayed here after a windstorm forced us away from our tent at Assateague. The front desk staff were friendly. The room was clean. The indoor pool was small but nice. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was refreshing and, as I mentioned before, there is this little machine where you press a button and out pop two freshly made pancakes. You have to get a plate and catch the pancakes as they roll out of the little oven. My room rate was $79 for one King sized bed. The receptionist told me that room rates greatly increase during the summer, sometimes as high as $250-$300 per night. I felt fortunate we stayed during a rainy, windy night in March. We would definitely return here (but not during the summer when the rates are high).

Good facility. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was a hit with my 6 yr old. :)

The holiday inn at 17th is good as the holiday inn express west ocean city md.

This hotel was very clean, the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Housekeeping does a great job. The included breakfast is great, top notch. The hotel is a 5 min ride over the bridge to the OC boardwalk. I recommend this hotel, it is great. I will be looking to stay here again next year! The only con — is that the hotel does not have an outdoor pool, the pool is inside. If they removed the nice looking pond from the entrance they could perhaps put A pool there.

The hotel was clean… when room service actually came. Room service didn't come until, at earliest, 2pm, at this point we were back from the beach and wanted to shower so we did not have any fresh towels. Also, their Wi-Fi is very very slow, I had maybe 1-2 bars of connection the entire time I was here and I am a student so I needed to work on school work while I was here, and I was not able to do that during my stay… (and this hotel was a dead zone for service with my phone. ) The pool is very very small, and indoors. The staff is friendly for the most part, there were a few here that would not even say hello back, especially the girl who checked us in. The hotel is on the side of the road that goes on to the island, so to get back to the hotel we need to make a u-turn at light that is after the hotel to get back… it is also a long traffic wait to get on to the island on weekends, so make plans to play at the tiny pool. Over all, I would not stay at this Holiday Inn Express again. The one on the island is much better, which is where we stayed last year.
