Room was very clean, staff was great! My Husband and I and our 2 dogs stayed for a little over a month and never had any problems. I would definitely recommend staying here. You can't beat the price, they don't charge extra for your pets, it's clean and they respect your privacy. A few days before we left they started offering free Wi-Fi, it worked okay for the short time we used it. They don't have laundry facilities for their guests, however the flying J is right next door, they have washers and dryers open to any one. The rooms are all the same size, smaller than other motels I have stayed at but I would stay for another month if I had to ;-)

This Motel 6 is above average when considering my stay in other Motel 6s. It was on the high end of price though. The landscaping was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and everything seemed pretty clean and was working in our room.

Overall the motel was what we needed for an overnight. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean. Not noisy. Only wish they would have had shampoo or conditioner — they just provide soap for the shower and sink. Wi-Fi and TV worked well. A good stay. Would come back.

Great Staff! When I arrived my room was very clean! I have 2 dogs and everyone is accommodating and FRIENDLY! I'm in the middle of a move and I needed to extend my stay, I couldn't be happier with the price! Very affordable.

Location is good. Dirty room, dirty bath. Spiders, cockroaches. Broken door. Dirty walls. Not nice ceiling. Newer again I will use Motel 6 rooms.

Had stayed at this particular place about 25 years ago. This time I was very impressed with the property and the excellent condition of the room. The front desk employees were extremely friendly, cordial and knowledgeable. We found this to be a great place to stay overnight.

Motel 6 should invest in an area rug for the floor. They also need to install non slip gripping in the shower/bath both on the tub floor and on the handles, especially for the handicap rooms. The last time I was there I actually fell into the tub while trying to exit the shower, because it was extremely slick. I had to change rooms three separate times before finally getting a room that functioned properly. Please consider the rugs and non slip grips and mats for the bathroom. Thank you.

My wife and I stayed at Motel 6 in Elkton, MD and it was terrific. Really great value and experience. No complaints. The room smelled very clean the moment we entered into the room. First impression was excellent. The beds were very very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. All in all a very good nights stay. Finally, about 5 minutes after we entered the room, the front desk called us to see if everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. I thought that was super professional of them to do that. You might expect that to happen at a 5 Star Hotel but Motel 6 did it for us which proves to me they are paying attention and want to do all they can for their customers. Way to go Motel 6.

Lady at desk was helpful. Only $50 for the day and no extra charge for my dog to stay only thing is the bathroom fan, shower, and ac unit made odd noises. The beds are pretty good for being so inexpensive.

The people at the front desk we're very good and gave me very amazing and comfortable Service as a whole. The room we stayed in was also very comfortable and met every need that I had for the couple nights day that I was there.

My stay here was absolutely amazing and I will be for sure coming back here soon. Great service, very polite, and I felt very welcome. Management went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was very comfortable. Definitely deserves a five star and I highly recommend this motel.

My stay was due to the closing of all bridges to Maryland (because of high winds and accidents). The Staff was very understanding of a walk-in and made every attempt to make the process easy. All of my questions were answered, directions were given and I was asked if additional information was needed. WOW, the room was clean and fresh!

We stayed one night because power was lost to our home for two days, and we had no water either since we use a well. The Motel 6 stay was very pleasant and the hot and cold running water made for a nice stay. I would suggest that this particular Motel get some repaving done to their driveway and parking lot.

This grandmother says the place is super clean! New floors of vinyl planks in a recently remodeled room help. Nice desk staff. Safe and secure room. Great value for the price. They get 5 stars for cleanliness, 4 stars for the pillows, mattress was a 3, maintenance 4 plus stars. The bed was not the top end for comfort but I definitely got a great rest on it. For a budget minded person, this is an ideal place to stay. Have stayed here several times and this place keeps improving. Again, this is a terrific value.

If you know the motel 6 chain you will enjoy this location. The check in/out procedure was smooth. Room was clean and smelled good. Bed was comfortable, towels were not soft but not sand paper. Everything a traveling motorist needs for a reasonable price.

When I first got there the key did not work for the room had to go back to the office at 1am with two small children in the car traveling 10hrs away. The lady at the front desk went to the room with some kind of machine and tried to get the door to open. It did not work had to go back to the office get another room. Got into that one just to find no hot water to take a shower not even warm. I let the water run for an hour and a half only to have freezing cold water. I called the front desk twice about the water the first I was told you have to let it run the 2nd time I was told she would be at the room to check it. Never came but even if she would of they was not hot water. This was the worst experience I ever had at a hotel or motel.

Arrived at 4am driving from Georgia to Maine. Staff was very friendly even at 4 in the morning. The stay was very pleasant and they have pet friendly rooms which is a plus. My dog doesn't like stairs but that's not a deal breaker. I highly recommend staying here.

This Motel is wonderful. There Staff is very friendly, make you feel comfortable during the checkin and checkout process, easy to talk to and provided lots of information on local attractions and places to eat. Love this Motel, being pet friendly, clean and easy to find. Parking was great and the room access was reasonable as well. I will definately stay here again!

Never ever stay here. In 2015 I was there. They gave there guest list to police. I was awaken at 8 am to cops banging on my door. Over traffic charge from 8 years prior. They had my mustang towed. They do not care about your rights to privacy etc. That place is well known for cops going there. So rest assured that if u have any traffic tickets charges or anything. Just try to take care of your family you will go to jail. Your rights to privacy will be violated, when you rent a room you have same rights as in your home. That is federal law. Motel 6 does not care, they support the corruption in police departments. If you ever had even a traffic mishap they consider you a criminal and will have you arrested.

I stayed 2 night in room 146 and second night in room 123. Both these nights I had received bug bites. Then I stayed 2 night in room 116. Again more bug bites. We left after the first night in room 116. I wish I could post pictures. Not to mention room doors would not lock when shut from outside and had broken security door bar/chain locks on inside of the door. The bathroom in 146 had a tub that was horribly cracked and felt like you would fall threw the flooring.

Very clean room. The staff was extremely friendly. The price was the lowest in the area. I would have liked a microwave and fridge as we were traveling I 95 from New England to Florida and had hoped to heat up our dinner and put our drinks in a fridge overnight, but I can't complain, as the room price was so low.

Modern updated rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Property is well maintained. Location is roughly halfway between Baltimore and Philadelphia (each an hour's drive away, assuming decent traffic flow), and is also relatively close to Brandywine Valley attractions (about 45 minutes away) and Wilmington (20 minutes away). Update (10.2017) : The last time I stayed here, a loud, violent incident occurred outside my room. This place may have safety issues.

Very easy access not far off highway. Chose this location based on price. For a budget friendly motel I was very satisfied. My 74 yr old mom (with limited mobility) was with me and front desk employee was very friendly and helped to make us comfortable. I would stay here again.

The room was very nice and made me feel at home. The shower was a little dirty with a previous guests hair stuck to the shower walls in numerous places including the faucet and there was cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling and you can tell they've been there for a while. The location of the hotel is excellent and it is very easy to get to. The staff was very kind and polite and well-mannered. Overall I enjoyed the stay and look forward to booking with you again in the future.

Very clean nice room. We came out to a car show in Chesapeake bay about 15 mins from this location it's very affordable plenty of places to eat with I'm walking distance. Heather at the front desk was very nice & helpful. We would stay here again…

Booked this on the website with notes stating needed bottom floor room because my husband is handicap, when we arrived there were no bottom floor rooms available, clerk stated notes did not go through. My husband had not climb stairs before since his stroke. Manager was helpful with assisting myself and him up and down the stairs. Room itself was good and comfortable…

Called to say we were running a little behind and I could tell the woman was feeling a bit frazzled. All in all it was a good stay with no problems. Room was clean, no noisy neighbors, etc.

Ride from hell from near Richmond, VA to Elkton. Road work on US 301 so a 4 hour ride took 5 plus. Hotel was hidden hard to find the entrance. Had some difficulty at check in that got straightened out. Room was sup par as Motel 6's were supposedly getting renovated. Must have forgotten this one.

For the price this is a reasonable hotel. Nothing fancy in the rooms (no fridge or microwave) and the Wi-Fi is extra, but for a simple place to crash at night it is fine. The room was clean and comfortable and the worked.

No microwave, no refrigerator. We asked for a smoke free room and it still smelled like smoke. To expensive for What we got.

MY wife has Lupus and is VERY SICK. I clearly told the front desk our situation. However, we were woken up almost every hour, as it sounded like females were yelling and getting beat up above us. We called the front desk because we were concerned. We told them that we would call the police, if this continued. However, they kept telling us that NO ONE is checked into the room above. My wife went outside and video taped all of the folks that incidently WERE checked in above. The following days, they said they were sorry… but, it kept continuing. We are SINCERELY PERPLEXED by these events! No discount was offered… but, we are now worried about if the girls in room 208 are OK or being abused. I feel that the front desk knew something. After a few days, we left during May of 2016!

Great location and very clean, we have stayed there a few times and never had a problem.

Room was nicer than expected. Only negatives were lack of refrigerator and small room size. Overall very good value and would recommend.

It's a nice place to stay. Really never had no problems until today. They gave a room where the toilet over flowed and move me n my hubby to a room where the cable wire was broke. I call coustmer service and told them about it and they moved us but the lady who was working the front desk was going off at the hinge because we went over their heads. I'm not going to pay for something that doesn't work. Now there's a young lady by the name of Wendy who we love and become friends with who puts in rooms that everything works. I love this place but the lady Alicia who is working tonight is really rude.

Price is very good. Rooms are kept clean and neat. The negatives: the air conditioners are all broken and there isn't a mini fridge nor microwave in the room. Fix those and I will rate 5 stars.

The hotel itself is VERY nice. The rooms are were in great shape, overall a good place for the price. However, there was a front desk lady here that was VERY rude. She was insensitive to customers and she seemed like she didn't like her job so she took it out on customers. Just a fair warning for whoever has to meet this lady.

Pros: I stayed in a non smoking for 2 nights. My room was organized, clean, smelled great, and while out house keeping changed sheets, made the bed, and restocked the room. The check in woman was very nice and pleasant. The location was convenient as well. Cons: The bed was not very comfortable. The walls are thin so you can hear people walking around, shutting doors, and water running, Towels are small and scratchy but I made sure I brought my own. I wish they had a mini fridge just to keep drinks. Internet was $2.99 per 24 hours. I would stay here again. It fit my needs for the weekend and saved me money.

You get what you pay for, I suppose. Price was good, internet cost money, room service didn't give us many towels to start with. No hair dryers available, no ironing board available (Iron was though! ). Very basic motel experience. Front desk was always helpful and happy to resolve any issues they were capable of resolving.

Great location. Very near 95. But If you hate smoking, you will be regret that you stay here. Because no-smoking room could be smoking room without warning. Bed is squeezing, nearby truck wash is very noisy. Staff is friendly though.

Faux wood floors let the staff keep this place looking good. Beds weren't half bad. Toilet in our room barely flushed and water pressure at sink and shower were low. No lock on bathroom door? Odd, but not a biggie. Internet costs 3-6 dollars extra, so be sure to price that in if you're shopping around.

Everything in area is available, with a short walk or ride to rt Baltimore is 40 minutes. This is my home away from home. The staff is remarkable friendly and go out of their way to see you're comfortable. It is quite yet, quaint and homely. Bring a cooler for free ice, no frig in last room. Great deal $$.

Really nice girls who run the night desk. The lil petite one is rough looking but shes nothing but professional. I would definitely come back if I was in a pinch and it's also an easy commute to my work.

Are you sure you want me to post this review? First off I must say the price was wonderful! However; you get what you pay for. The room was clean and modern. Deal breaker I HAVE NEVER, EVER, EVER PAID for the INTERNET at a Motel 6! I dont know if this was a Corporate property or a Franchise! They have (2) versions the $2.99/day slow or the $4.99/day decent that resets ever 3 hours had to encrypt my downloads because its monitored/filtered/restricted! I mean if you pay $4.99 plus tax you should have "lightning" unfiltered, unrestricted speed… Deal Breaker I felt as to if I was being held hostage because I booked this room on the internet at a discounted rate, however; when I arrived I was only going to stay 3 nights I was told if I checked out they would have to pro-rate the days I had stayed. Even when I checked out a day early than I booked I had to leave them a free day and couldn't get the day back that I didn't stay. It bothers me because I have never had this problem with MOTEL 6! Deal Breaker There was no Microwave or Refrigerator. The extra money I spent eating out, couldnt buy what I needed to save on money. In the end, I really didnt save any money! The good news is I paid with my AMEX and its ironic how they suggested that I should write a review.

Pretty decent although… no pool, no fridge, no microwave. Parking for straight trucks (26 footers) and under & bobtail tractors but, not for combination tractor-trailer. Close to flying j & TA travel centers (truck stops) also Taco Bell & McDonald's. There's also a grassy area to play in or walk your dogs.

We were traveling through and needed a pet friendly hotel. We were incredibly impressed with the cleanliness and simple yet tasteful set up of the rooms. It looks like they had just been renovated. I appreciated not being charged for all kinds of fancy amenities that I just don't really need. They also did not charge a fee for us to have our dogs with us and we appreciated that.

I was driving from MD to NJ and decided to stay here for the night. Room was amazing, very neat and modern looking. Very cozy and comfty and for a great price! me and my fiance loved it.

Beds were sooooo comfortable. We slept like babies. The room was nice and clean. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Definitely will stay there when I'm coming through town again. Kudos to the staff.

If your looking for a cheap place to just close your eyes for a few hour and get cleaned up this place is Okay. It does have a problem with mice. I seen the dropping one day when I left out and came back a few hours later and another time one shot across the room. Just make sure you keep everything sealed up! I had to complain also once about the temporary homeless people that social service place there for shelter because they were hanging around (sitting on the steps) and wouldn't move as I was passing by (going down the steps).

Great find for the price! Needed something pet friendly without outrageous fees — — no fees at this location and huge field to walk to dogs around in. Updated rooms are nice, modern look, flat screen tvs, 'wood' laminate flooring (the dogs did not love that. Lol). Although the area is a little sketchy at night, it's a great location off the highway for stopping for the night.

Amazing new updated rooms. Scandanavian feel with open shelving and blonde furniture. Very clean and shiny. Sleek flat screen TV. Highly recommend this Elkton, Md. Location.

One of the best m6 I have ever stayed in. Good price for the renovated room with plazma tv. Everything clean and renovated. I was really surprised. I don't know about other rooms but mine was amazing! And if you get truck or trailer, there is a place for it but only if not a lot of cars.
