The hotel is conveniently located off I-95 right next to a Waffle House and Cracker Barrel. Parking was easy and check in was smooth. Hotel looks recently renovated. Rooms are big and include new flat panel TVs, microwave and mini fridge. Indoor pool and small fitness room located on 1st floor. Included Breakfast was very good.

Do not stay in room 101. All you hear is the train outside and you are next to the elevator so you hear the ding every time it comes to the floor. Actually don't stay here at all… they refused to switch our room after we complained and asked for a new room. Thankfully we are here for a wedding and only have to stay a couple of nights. Do not bring your business here!

The breakfasts are really great. Beds and comforters are amazing. As someone who lives nearby, I will say, it's not located in the best area. Make sure you lock up your cars.

Rooms are super clean and the staff are all very pleasant.

People are great. Evening treats, cookies, such a nice touch. Rooms need a facelift.

Typical Hampton inn. Was were paper thin on the ground level. Felt like I could hear everything. Comfortable beds and all the usual amenities. Works for business travel would not want to have an extended stay though.

Have stayed here multiple times. Previously have giving it a 5 star rating until my most recent stay. Woke up around 3am felt very uncomfortable turned on the bed side lamp and was welcomed by a cockroach. I can accept such an intrusion in Florida or Louisiana but not Maryland. Management offered nothing to make it right. Will never stay here again.

Not really what I thought Hampton inn. Would be like upper floor flushed toilet very loud chairs moved up stairs very noisy outside noise train track can hear the high speed train go by. Mattress also just ok staff really nice and helpful not my 1st choice next time if this is indication what they are like. BW plus more comfy for me and hubby we are truck drivers.

We arrived Saturday night, the desk clerk was friendly and attentive. The room was very clean and modern, free Wi-Fi and even an Ethernet cable was provided. We had only planned on spending one night, but after our plans changed we got the same room at the same rate for the second night. Complementary breakfast and free coffee 24/7 in the comfortable lounge area. The hotel is located right off of 95, walking distance to the Waffle House and Crackerbarrel. I would stay here again.

All the workers were friendly and polite. Room was clean and very spacious. For truck drivers like myself there is plenty of room for our trucks.

So far it has been a wonderful, peaceful stay. Much needed rest and relaxation. The hotel seems like a newer one. The rooms are in excellent condition and the decor is great. We have 2 queen beds in our room. The hotel has a pool on level one which is accessed by taking the elevator down to floor 1. You enter the hotel on level 2. The lobby, front desk and dining area for the free breakfast is here along with guest rooms. There is free parking here also. Restaurants nearby: kfc, waffle house are the closest. You can walk to those. There is a cracker barrel also. If you drive across the highway rt. 279, there is a McDonalds, and a Golden Corral. I am enjoying the latter right now!

My husband forgot his golden bracelet in the room and as soon as he noticed I call them to let them know what had happend. I thought they were going to find it and give back to my husband but, guess what? No, they didn't. The sad thing is that I gave it to my husband 8 years ago and I paid near to $700 or $800 I dont remember and you know how I earned the money to buy it? Working as a housekeeper a very honest housekeeper. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Halls on my floor smelled a bit. Other than that it was fine.

Very nice hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and the room was clean and spacious. We got the whirlpool suite. The room was huge for the two of us. We loved it! The complimentary hot breakfast was also very delicious! I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Very nice room. We had some issues, but the staff quickly resolved them.

Hard to ever find a King size at this location, good luck with finding the electrical outlets — move the night stand out (watch for the sharp edges), unplug the alarm clock or lamp. They typically are sold out on Mon-Wed so, try LaQuinta next door (same problem with not having electrical outlets within reach but, low rate and more space make up for that! ).

There is a train track about 100 yards from the building. (If you look on Google Maps you can see it. ) Staying in room 101, I heard both the trains and the plumbing repeatedly. I was not warned about the level of noise at check in. At first I thought it was a jet taking off nearby. If noise is a concern you are best to look elsewhere.

I've stayed at several Hampton Inns and other Hilton properties, and I have appreciated the Elkton location most of all. The price is reasonable, the rooms are exceptional, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious. (Try the oatmeal. Even if you don't like oatmeal. Add some nuts and raisins. ).

Clean and well maintained. Get a room away from the railroad tracks.

Even though they were in the midst of renovations everything was clean and accessible. The night we stayed there was a complimentary dinner and their breakfast had great choices. The pool, hot tub, and fitness center were spotless.
