Clean, huge rooms, love that I was able to get my favorite hot green tea at breakfast! Easy to get to, and quiet.

Pretty view of the cemetery, room was clean, & location is great.
Staff was lovely.
Only complaint is more toasters needed for breakfast.

Next to evergreen cemetery and 5 minute walking to downtown. Clean rooms and customer service was nice. Needs a maintenance person but beings the cornia-19 they dont have any.

We stayed on vacation while visiting Gettysburg. We stayed 9/4/2019-9/5/2019 the young lady that checked us in was amazing and very helpful.

We just checked in for our 2 day stay. Unfortunately the AC in our room was not working. We went to let the (hard working and helpful) girl at the desk know. She went to check another room. Apparently they’re booked, so all we could get was a room that had working AC, but the unit was not completely put back together and the room smells strongly of mildew. Another woman came down drenched in sweat. She had been trying for hours to get something done about their lack of AC in their room. We don’t have a choice but to stay but until they get this all worked out, I would avoid this hotel for the foreseeable future.

The hotel has a sign posted stating they are having a renovation. I would not expect to have a room missing carpet behind the couch. The cleanliness of the bathroom is appalling and that should have nothing to do with a renovation as it is every day house keeping. The shower has mold on the walls, shower head, and along edges of metal lift bars for the handicapped. I do not trust the tub to take a bath in. The water takes 10-20 minutes to get hot. Staff have been polite.

Very nice hotel with very courteous staff. It is right near the cemetery Ridge battleground so it’s an easy walk to explore the Battlefield. I highly recommend this hotel if you are coming to the Gettysburg area.

Beds are good. Fridge is basic. Breakfast is a joke. The pool is the worst part. Its 4 feet deep. Nasty and crusty at the bottom. Its *not* a pool, its basically a glorified public tub. Staff are nice, most cant speak english.

First, the front desk staff were awesome! They let us check in an hour early and we're accommodating and friendly despite seeming to need more staff. However, we had issues with the cleanliness of our hotel. The sheets are so worn I could see the mattress through them easily. I also found several hairs on the sheets as well and in the bathroom. Things only got worse when we turned on the Jacuzzi and noticed the BLACK MOLD that had overtaken the Jets. We called the front desk immediately but was informed they don't have a manager on duty at night and would have to talk to one the next morning. The manager didn't come in but promised to call. Long story short, I've called and the manager is always too busy to talk or return my calls. Don't stay here. Ever. We booked it because it had high reviews but our experience was disgusting and we stay at hotels at least once a month.

For a non smoking facility the front lobby smells very strong of smoke. The first room we got smelled so strong of mildew I could not breath. The AC was loud and not working well. When I went to the front desk they were quick to give us another room that was clean odor free with a quiet well working AC.
Nothing special but very close to all the interesting things you come and stay for.

We were very happy with our stay there. Perfect place to be during bike week. Very friendly staff, rooms were clean & beds are very comfortable.
The only thing I can complain about is their coffee and that is it.

~I thought this was a great place to stay while I was in town for the first time visiting Gettysburg! It was so close to town and all the things there was to do there! The room was clean and roomy~ Also liked that there was a safe in the room~The breakfast they have was excellent! the lovely young woman working was constantly checking and keeping it full! All the employees I encountered were friendly! Thank you soooo much!

Staff was extremely helpful and very welcoming. Recommended a great restaurant for dinner and shared lots of tourist tips. Convenient location.

STOLEN MONEY FROM ROOM! We stayed here for 4 nights, after the third night we left for the day, when we arrived back to our room the house keeping left a note on one bed that they couldn't make the other bed because my 16 year old daughter left her backpack on the bed. I have no problem with that. About an hour later we were going to leave for dinner, my daughter went to her backpack to get her wallet and there was no money left in it. She knew that there was $36 in it the night before because she bought a purse at the outlets the night before but she didn't have her wallet with her. My wife paid for the purse and when they got back to the hotel she paid my wife back and counted her money. The money never left the room after she counted it until she noticed it wasn't there. The management said there was nothing they could do since they couldn't prove who stole it. They know who cleaned the room so they do know who stole the money. Do not stay here.

Well, I already left a trip advisor review, documenting the strong smoke smell of the first suite, stains and dirt and malfunctioning air conditioner of the second room (which was NOT fixed during our stay) — the fan in the room prior to our arrival indicating they KNEW the ac was broken before they put us in that room, but didn't tell us, construction dust in the room. For a family with two asthmatics not being able to reduce the humidity in the room, combined with construction dust, is simply terrible. The dishonesty makes it worse. BUT WAIT, since I can't add to my trip advisor review, I'll tell you all here that they told us they were reducing the rate of the room by 50% when we checked out because of these many issues. They even provided a receipt. What do you think I found when I checked my credit card statement? I was billed for the FULL amount. So in addition to all the dishonesty and poor state of the room, now we can add a fraudulent receipt! Note: we were told we would receive a refund for the amount overcharged no later than Thursday June 7. Today is June 12. Do you think we received that refund? If you said "no", you would be correct.

I was a little disappointed because the price was high and it wasn't up to my expectations! The pictures on website looked so much nicer! The clock in our room didn't work and I found 2 gummies bears on the floor next to the bed so you know they don't clean too well! Hotel was also under renovations! Pool was terrible and exercise room was so so small!

The rooms are roomy and very convenient tro the battlefield. The service has been very nice. The breakfast is very good also.

Cancel this rating, April 28th, 2018 they are currently remodeling the hotel. Room is very comfortable and clean. Hotel is not really big, so no room is a far walk from the front desk, unlike the place I am at this evening. Rooms are suites, and are plenty spacious. Highly recommended. Only downside, there is no food or Gas Station in walking distance.

It was a good place, beside the fact that they were redoing the floor tiles, it was still a very clean place. The elevator is somewhat slow but they usually open up the fire escape stairs so you can go up faster than the elevator. The pool is small and only 4 ft deep, and the food was good. Overall a good place. Rooms had 2 queens and 1 sofa couch for 5 people, rooms were clean based on our 3 day stay.

Best staff in the nation. Understanding and friendly. Plus bounus hot fresh breakfast.

Has a lot to improve, especially the cleaning service in the rooms.

I travel a lot for work and always stay at the choice hotels due to their awesome rewards program, affordable rates, free breakfast and cozy rooms with comfortable beds. This one is another 5 star to add to the list. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had 24 hour bug during my 2 day stay here and the guy at the front desk went and picked up medicine for me at a local pharmacy. Pretty cool of him. I recommend staying. It's close to town and all of the attractions Gettysburg has to offer.

A mid-scale modern hotel for the area, price and amenity-wise. Rooms are clean and classy; what you would expect for the mid-ranged price you pay. Staff is friendly. Located just outside of the touristy area of town, and directly adjacent to a graveyard. Can be kind of fun if you have kids or are into the "supernatural" aspects of Gettysburg. The restaurant that shares the parking lot is called "The Pike", and in my and many others opinions is one of the best casual restaurants in the area. I HIGHLY suggest that if you stay here, that you have a meal there!

Clean, orderly and quiet. Nice little restaurant near by. We got in late at night by the time we got up we opened curtains to see gravestones 10 feet from our window… lol.

Comfortable beds. The staff is so friendly. One of the best continental breakfasts I've seen.

This is not the best hotel in the world, but it offers great value. I had a couple of issues: I didn't get any room service because the housekeeper didn't knock on my door until really late in the afternoon; and the room smelled like cigarette smoking. The free breakfast buffet was very adequate and the kids enjoyed it.

I don't normally do reviews for hotels but this place was clean. Staff was friendly, the rooms were big and cozy. They are pet friendly and we're very accommodating to my puppy and they gave her treats because she was good. Best part is that it's in an amzing location right near everything in town. All in all great place highly recommend will be staying here again!

Beware of hidden fees! This is a good location and the staff is friendly. Rooms are nice, but my bed was broken down on the left side. I notified the staff upon departure and they responded that the problem would be rectified. Breakfast is not up to par with other motels of this type at which I have stayed. But what destroyed the experience for me was getting home and finding I was charged about $10 more than my reservation indicated because of a fee that was not disclosed at the time of reservation (3-night stay). Just be aware, this is a dishonest practice and there should be a consequence to the motels that participate in this behavior.

Pros: good location, friendly staff, good pricing. Hotel backs the graveyard and is directly across the street from the battlefield. Rooms were very large in size. Cons: Very cheap mattresses, they were incredibly thin and very uncomfortable. The shower heads had very little pressure. I understand the whole "green" concept, but water savings can be in other ways. The hotel smelled strange, I cannot quite put my finger on it. My suggestion? Invest in some better mattresses. This goes a long way for comfort. Overall in my opinion I would lean towards 2.5 stars out of 5. If you're looking for a good nights I would look elsewhere.

Very unhappy with this place. The room smelled really bad, the bed was uncomfortable no cushion at all, the pillows were flat, the shower had no water pressure and the bathroom needs a deep cleaning well really the whole room needs it. The 3 good things about it was the nice staff, the room was big and good location.

Room was nice and pretty clean, could of used a deep cleaning; dusting baseboards, floors needed vacuuming & mirrors were not clean. But the bead was clean. Coffee is awful in the room and in breakfast area! Breakfast we passed on, we wanted a good meal to start the day. Lady in breakfast area was friendly when I got coffee.

The hotel was clean and in a good location to site see in Gettysburg. They offer a basic breakfast and a small pool.

The room very nice and clean. We had did have a view of the cemetery which was slightly unnerving. The overall experience was great.

Comfortable beds but the pillows need to be better. Shower pressure on the third floor is medium but the view is worth it. Breakfast was continental and very good by comparable standards. They had fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, Donuts, biscuits, waffles, pancakes, cereal, eggs and sausage, oatmeal, juice from concentrate and the coffee was excellent! Ask for a room facing the old Cemetery. You'll get tapping at your window some nights.

The hotel was located near the main attraction of the battlefield. The rooms were spacious and comfortable for me and my family who stayed at the hotel. The service was good but only gave us 4 sets of towels when we had consistently asked for 5 sets. Overall great experience. I would stay there again.

Basically you get what you pay for. Inexpensive rooms at a convenient location & have good rapport with diner next door. Area was quiet (no road noise & couldn't hear people in next room). No bugs in bed but were three in room (spider and two beetles in various spots on wall. ) Sliding glass door leas to courtyard & pool. The sliding glass door was not very secure. Also found several doors leading into hotel propped open.

My reservation says my king room would be ready by three. I got there at five thirty and still had to wait. The front desk person tried telling me that "check in at three" really meant "three or later". That's ridiculous! I downgraded to a queen double. The luggage rack was broken and the hall ac unit was super noisy. Because of my disability I had requested that king to be accessible if that was possible. I've been a rewards member for more than ten years but I swear I'm going to use up my remaining points for a free night and then give up on choice hotels.

Friendly staff, clean room, very quiet, pool is small but great for the kids, breakfast basic but fine.

Recently had a billing issue with the hotel. Sara G, the Guest Experience Manager, was great. Not only was she responsive but did all possible to make sure all was correct and that I did have a good experience. Not only is this a good hotel but interaction with Sara in and of itself is reason enough for us to stay here.

It's in a great location, if you love history like I do the town itself just captivates you.

Stayig4here for a world function. It was a good stay, nothing too exceptional.

Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable.

Location was amazing, rooms were nice. Breakfast was adequate, typical continental. One downside, the mattresses were pretty uncomfortable, to the point we are contemplating getting a mattress topper to compensate. All in all, given the superb location and great price, we would go back and reccomend.

Attended meeting in their meeting/conference room, and it was very clean and well appointed. On a cold day (11 degrees) it was kept very warm. Hotel lobby is charming and warm feeling with ample room to be comfortable and relax.

Hot breakfast! I stay here every time I visit Gettysburg.

This is a nice hotel for the most part but there are some obvious issues that need to be corrected. The good things about the hotel is the location, which is right in Gettysburg butted up to the historic Evergreen Cemetery where John Burns and Jennie Wade are buried, as well as being right on the battleground. Nice. The rooms seemed clean and the beds were comfortable. Our room was big, which was nice, and I loved the fact that there were more than enough electrical outlets in order to charge all of the technical devices. Also nice! Now for the bad. While I love all people and don't hold prejudice, I have to say that the staff here is Indian and they are RUDE! They are not friendly. They do not try to be friendly. They stare and scowl at you and when you try to be nice, they ignore you. However, when we were checking out, and it was not time to yet so we were going to get breakfast and take our time to load our car, etc. The cleaning staff had cleaned all the way down to our room. They lingered and stayed right outside our room as if waiting for us to leave. We are not the bullying kind so we stuck our sign in the door and told them that we were in fact NOT leaving yet and we would let them know later. (They just stayed there and acted offended). We got breakfast, which was not all that great by the way. I would give it a 2 out of 5 (5 being the Best on the scale). Also there was not enough room for everyone to get in freely and get breakfast. Very packed.

My experience at this hotel was mixed in many ways. It had many strong points, but a few glaring weaknesses as well. CON: Breakfast: The breakfast is terrible. Not bad. Not "okay. " Not "sorta bad. " This breakfast was downright awful. The meat was cold by the time you reached your table. Only one out of four of us was able to eat the eggs. The selection as a whole was not good. The second day was an EXACT repeat of the first horrible breakfast with no deviation or additions. The only thing that changed on the second day was that the food made even my tough gator constitution pale with sickness. Unfriendly: The employees aren't outright unfriendly, but they aren't quite friendly either, making interaction somewhat awkward. English: Most of the staff does not speak it. This makes interaction very difficult, even for a well traveled reptile such as myself. Refrigerator: This hotel places a great deal of emphasis on saving energy. This can be a good thing. However, one of the ways in which they save on energy is turning the fridge off when someone leaves. Firstly, we failed to see the tiny little note saying that the fridge was off until the next morning, when we noticed our drinks were warm. Secondly, upon searching for a way to turn on the fridge, no way was readily available to turn on the fridge, so I abandoned my search. PRO: Clean Rooms: The rooms are clean and well maintained. We declined maid service so we cannot comment on their efficacy.
