L came from Puerto Rico, for the graduation of my son in Morehead, (MSU), AND it was awesome, great place, nice staff friedly and helpful. I'll be back on June.

This was one of the best stays at a hotel in a while. From check in to check out. The front desk staff were very nice and knowledgeable. The room and entire hotel was great. The morning breakfast was excellent. The breakfast attendant was very nice. There was not one bad thing about the stay. I wish more of the Choice brands/locations were as professional as this one.

The room was decent for the price. It needs updating. The pool was real dirty and had rough edges and bottom. It was ok for one night but wouldn't vacation there.

This is the door to the side of this hotel where one can enter. Well, it doesn't lock but yet there is a sign that says "When doors are locked, used guest room key card. " Well, ANYONE can enter this hotel at anytime of the day or night without a 'guest room key. ' I was told they have a security camera on the door way, instead of fixing the lock. So all should be good… right?

The staff were friendly and breakfast was tasty. A good location for spending time on the north side of Cave Run Lake.

The property is well maintained, the staff was great.
The room could have been a little crisper but it was nice. The staff made up for any shortcomings.
Breakfast served by the hotel was very nice and tasty. The lady working it was fantastic, the perfect example of someone with great people skills.

I've been to this Comfort Inn & Suites many times before and always enjoyed my experience but this time was different. The rooms are still comfortable and nice albeit in need of a bit of an upgrade but some of the staff members were a bit stand offish. All in all I would stay here again but hope that I don't run into some of the staff I did this time.

Very accommodating in a time of need as we needed a room even when they were sold out. The staff was very courteous and compassionate to us at all times.

Wanted a room to relax. Purchased room via a 3rd party which didn't explain that it is close to nothing! There is literally no place to eat. Had to get back on highway to eat dinner after a 500 mile trip. Would have stayed elsewhere if I had known. But no refunds! Room is clean and staff was helpful after initially saying they didn't have my reservation.

This was a very nice hotel! The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff was nice and the beds were amazing!

Totally renovated room was clean bed was comfy everything was perfect, the price was right also, even has parking for a few tractor trailers, decent breakfast bar, it has a heated outdoor pool but it's seasonal, very nice hotel and I'll stay their again next time I go to Lexington.

This us our hotel of choice when visiting our daughter at Morehead State. They have a delicious HOT breakfast and clean comfortable rooms! The staff is very friendly too! We are repeat customers and will return here whenever we are in town.

This is a nice quiet hotel with kind and friendly staff. The recent remodeling and technology upgrades are great. I highly recommend staying here.

The service was great, the staff is super friendly and everyone treated us as if we were guests that they were personally hosting in their own homes. The rooms were clean and quiet, although the hallways were messy and ripped up due to remodeling, and also smelled like a fresh coat of lacquer over wallpaper. The A/C worked great, the water temp and pressure was fine. Breakfast was basic but sufficient, and a nice addition for such an affordable stay. Did not use room service so I can't speak for that. They also offer pet-friendly rooms, which is extremely convenient. (I didn't have a pet, but my family members in a neighboring room did bring their black lab) The only draw backs I experienced were that I didn't sleep comfortably either of the two nights I stayed. It wasn't due to noise or temperature, but some combination of the matress and pillows just didn't allow for a sound sleep. The other drawback was that the only functioning ice machine was on the third floor, at the opposite end of the hallway. Location was great for our purpose of visiting — only 10 minutes away from the marina, straight down the road. Overall it was an enjoyable stay, for an incredible steal — only $73 per night for a king room. I would stay again, and I would recommend to someone staying in the area.

They were remodeling, but my room was very musty. To the point that we had to purchase our own spray to make it bearable. It still reeked havoc on my allergies.

Stayed in a King Suite, the room was spacious and comfortable. Nice bed, nice bath so-so TV. Excellent breakfast for a hotel, everything was hot and fresh. Recommend this nice facility, especially for the price paid.

Spectacular breakfast variety included — bisquits, gravy, bacon, eggs, cereal, oatmeal, pastries, yogurt, milk, etc… The pool was relaxing, with the wooded scenery around it. Many thanks to the employees for being kind & generous.

Nice clean place to stay. Bed was very comfortable. Nice pillows too. Receptionist were very friendly and their free breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. Gravy and biscuits were Awesome too and the cook was super friendly! Best Price around too! Should've been rated mote than a two star hotel. No complaints at all!

Very nice clean room. Although stairway looked like it hadn't been swept in a while. Very quiet atmosphere. My second time staying here. Front desk employees very nice. Highly recommend.

The Comfort Inn in Morehead Kentucky is a clean, comfortable hotel to stay in. The convenient location and reasonable prices, and free breakfast cannot be beat!

Wi-Fi is terrible. I'm in a room just above the lobby and I font even have 1MB. There is no TV Guide. The room looks clean but if you like around the edges of the room you can see heavy dust. Not to mention that under the back board this is garbage. Although its slight, the wallpaper is peeling off the walls in a few places. The carpet floor looks stained in some areas. The bathroom has areas around the tub that are not sealed and it could use more/better placed lighting.

Stayed in a suit with a living room area, which was very nice. The shower head couldn't change settings so I was upset with that. But overall, good hotel and average hotel breakfast.

This hotel was very accommodating & clean! We reserved the Kings Suite for one night & was very impressed with the amount of space & amenities available, including the moistened makeup remover towelettes. We felt we had everything we needed already in our room. Jon at the front desk was very friendly and professional. He made sure we were happy and comfortable at the hotel. The breakfast is very extensive with fresh fruit, made-to-order waffles, biscuits & sausage gravy, two kinds of eggs, crisp bacon strips, bagels & donuts, cereals and drinks. We really enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable beds, friendly staff.

Experience was relatively good. Check-in was easy, the staff was accommodating, and the room was clean. However, the room smelled VERY strongly of smoke.

Had everything we needed and the breakfast was great! Comfortable beds, fresh bedding, clean bathrooms and quiet hallways! My two kids slept great and we even slept in because we didn't want to get out of the beds!

Wow. What a welcomed relief after a long day on the road. Clean, fresh room. Comfortable bedding. A dozen pillows of varying firmness. Free breakfast in the morning that would make a French king blush. (Well, maybe not Louie the 15th good, but decent enough. ) And at a low price. Just accept that this is a remote location. Not much else around but the Subway or the diner across the street. Still, for the money, this place is a gem.
